Arya saw Taron with the sword sticking out of his stomach. Her breath left, then her heart clenched tight, hurting so bad that she fell to her knees, mind disabled. She must have screamed, because Aulix commanded her to finish her list. His tone was like a slap in the face, but he was right. Recovering from the shock of seeing Taron dying, she got up and moved on. She'd spent too long, from the point that the Lannisters came into her life until now, waiting for this moment. Arya was there to avenge many deaths; Myca, Lady (Sansa's direwolf), her father Ned Stark, eldest brother Robb, mother Catelyn and anyone else tortured or betrayed by the Lannister Queen.

Quietly and staying in the shadows, Arya made her presence disappear, just as she'd trained over and over again. As she snuck into the Throne room undetected, her eyes landed on the target. Her professionalism kept a hold on the anger that surged forth, upon seeing Cersei sitting there drinking blood red wine. The arrogance! Outside the castle was a raging rebellion and yet, this false queen had no care in the world! Did she really think that no one could best her undead Knight? Even though she wanted Cersei to die painfully, there was no time to inflict torment.

Sticking to the wall, thankful for the torch light casting shadows, Arya made her way deeper into the Throne room. The little light that came into the room from the windows above, was due to the day being overcast. Once her eyes had adjusted, Arya moved closer to the woman that would be her last victim of the kill list. Her feet made no noise as she moved behind a pillar, that supported the great roof. If she made it behind the throne chair, then the large window behind it wouldn't reveal her presence.

The time had finally come, almost holding her breath, Arya held two daggers in her hands, then sprung quickly from behind the throne chair. Completely surprised, Cersei didn't even have time to scream, because the attack came so swiftly. When her brain finally registered that someone was attempting to kill her, Arya already had a hand over the false queen's mouth. One dagger was plunged into the stomach and the other into the heart. The blades had easily penetrated both clothing and flesh. Arya had savoured the movement of the blade that got stuck in a rib, just short of piercing the heart. Moving to stand beside the throne, Arya's hands came together to grip the neck of Cersei.

"The North remembers! I am Arya Stark, I am a messenger from the God of Death."

Noticing that her hands weren't strong enough to kill Cersei, Arya brought forward Needle and sent it past the ribs into the struggling heart of the false queen. What she didn't know was that Cersei didn't hear or see the young assassin, but in her poisoned and guilty mind, death was delivered by another. It was her lover and brother that had choked her and deliver the final blow. Her lips tried to ask, "Jamie why?", but no sound came out.

Cleaning Needle on the dress the dead queen wore, Arya enjoyed the kill for just a few moment. Never before was a death so satisfying. Not even when she had killed Ser Meryn Trant, did it feel like this. With a smile, Arya quickly left. As she made her way out of the Throne room, the smile grew even bigger, because she could hear the revolt was being won by the people. They would all rejoice once they made it to the Throne room.

Running through the halls, Arya was glad for her years of conditioning that the street guild had given. She made it to the hall between the Throne room and the Royal apartments. Having memorized the map of the Red Keep, while they'd been on the ship, she remembered that there was a hall that intersected the grounds. Finding it happened fast. Using the shadows she made her way from the area of the apartments to the tower, closest to where the bed chamber once had been for Lord Varys. Anyone who came into her path, that engaged her in fighting, ended up dead. From there she got outside of the tower onto the wall, which thankfully had no archers or soldiers. Running along the wall, took her to the area near the Iron Gate. Carefully Arya climbed down the Red Keep's wall to the mountain's rock face. Even though the rocks were jagged, she found enough hand holds to make it down to the ground.

Looking around Arya saw a horse running back and forth in front of the gate. It had no saddle, but still wore it's bridle. Getting into it's mind was easy, but it took a little effort to get it calm. Remaining connected partially, she had it bend down on one knee in a bowed position, to get on it's back. Gathering the reins, Arya broke the connection and slammed her heals into the horse's side. It sprang forward, charging towards Rosby road. Only then did she think about Aulix and Taron. Although distracted, when the horse shied away from an abandoned cart, it didn't unseat her. That's when she saw her wolf, patiently waiting for her.

"Nymeria!" Arya shouted.

Briefly connecting to the wolf, she saw the memory of Aulix holding Taron on a horse, riding away from the Red Keep. Relieved they made it, she urged the horse into a ground eating fast gallop. Nymeria ran beside the horse, once they reached the open land. It didn't take them long to get to the docks of where the ship waited.

As she rode slower toward it, Arya saw Tam, before anyone else. "Hey, how's Taron?"

"Byt and Aulix are stitching him up, he's fine. He'll have a nice scar to show off later…. Go on, I'll take care of your horse." Tam held on to it's bridle as Arya dismounted. "They're in that hut."

She ran forward, but hesitated at the door of the hut. Aulix knew she was there and told her to enter. "Did you finish your list?"

Ignoring his question she asked her own, "Is he okay?"

Byt answered, "I don't know what Aulix gave him, but his insides already have healed, we sewed him up and I gave him something to sleep."

Everyone had come into the hut, including Tam. In unison they asked "well, is she dead?"

Arya laughed, "well of course she is, I've known her name for many years! But to make sure the Night King couldn't make her his queen, I cut off her head. Then once on the wall, I kicked it over the side. I saw it bounce down the rocks and into the water."

Aulix chuckled, "now that's an image that I'd like to have seen!"

"Let's party, Arya's list is done!"

"After we're on the ship that goes back to Dragonstone," Aulix said. "Grab your things, get the horses and wolves on to the ship and let's get out of here."

Byt asked, "Arya, how does it feel now that your list is done?"

"Satisfying. But we need to help my brother Jon win the war against the wights. I won't relax until then."

Aulix mumbled something as he and Tam picked up Taron. She looked at him, "what'd you say?"

He lied and replied, "I said that Gendry will help you relax when you're reunited in bed."

"Shut up!" Arya laughed.
