The next day at work was thankfully quiet and Lucas was able to make phone calls and gather information on how and who to get to help Vic. Based on Jack's recommendation Lucas got in contact with a doctor at Grey Sloane, a Dr. Hubble. He then calls Vic and gives her the contact information and asks her to make an appointment. She does, and begins to get the help that she needs.

Two months later…..

Vic is working through her PTSD from the events surrounding the coffee house fire and Lucas' hospitalization. Dr. Hubble had asked Lucas to move Vic into a less stressful position for the remainder of her pregnancy, so after a long conversation Vic agreed to be moved to HQ as an assistant to the Bat Chiefs. This combined with the medication and the talk therapy 3 times a week helped her move beyond her fears and nightmares about the unknown of their job.

As she is nearing the end of her pregnancy Lucas wanted her to go on mat leave early, but she convinced him that that was not a good thing, she needed to be out and working and contributing for as long as she could. He reluctantly agreed, it also helped him knowing that she was at HQ and he was usually close by if something happened.

By the time the baby is born, it's a little girl, Vic is well on her way to being able to cope with the PTSD, and her family and work responsibilities.

Vic and Lucas name their daughter Abbigail Grace, and have two more children in the next four years.
