Robin sighed as he scanned the pages over and over," The computer can't detect the language."

Cyborg scratched his head," Maybe its not an earth language. Raven isn't exactly from this world either."

"That is very true. Raven often mentioned that her home Azarath was on another dimensional plain." Starfire frowned.

Robin crossed his arms," Cyborg, is it possible to download more software so it can read it?"

"I don't know man, that's kind of a hard thing to do considering it'd be another dimensions language. But I'll see what I can do."

"It is kinda nice though without hearing her criticize me." Joked Beastboy.

Starfire gasped and glared at him," Are you saying that you are glad Raven is gone? She is our friend regardless of how mean or distant she was. You shouldn't be talking bad about her! She cared about us all, and saved our lives on many occasions!"

"Easy Star, it was a joke. I miss her too."

"I do not care if it was a joke. This is not a funny matter!" Starfire whined.

"We will find her Starfire. It just might take some time..." Cyborg smiled.

"How long do you suppose?"

He sighed," Right now, I'm not sure... Could be months, could be years, could be tomorrow."

"Hey, isn't Jinx a witch? Maybe she could read the language." said Beastboy.

"No, I don't think so Beastboy. She may be an ally now, but I don't think she and Raven are on the same basis with magic." Robin shook his head.

"Yeah Raven studies magic B, Jinx just has, well, jinxing powers. Nice idea though." Cyborg smiled as his friend.

"I guess..."

Robin headed out the door," I'm gonna study the footage again."

"Man, we watched that video like 500 times, and we still can't see anything out of the ordinary about it."

"I know, but maybe there's something there that we aren't catching. Where did that portal come from? What were those creatures? I need answers."

"Robin, please. Do not over worry yourself, what I have learned from Raven is, negative energy feeds bad thoughts, if we stay positive something good is bound to happen." Starfire frowned and offered a smile in her eyes.

"You're right Star. It's just, this happened during my watch... I feel guilty... I could have stopped it." Robin frowned deeply, and Starfire felt her heart explode with love.

"Oh Robin," she walked over and hugged him tightly, but not tight enough to cut off his breath, as she normally does," We all watched Raven..."

"Yeah man, seriously. Quit beating yourself up, we'll get her back. We're the Teen Titans after all right?" Cyborg smiled.

"Star and I will head back out to the area those creatures appeared, and I can try and pick up her scent again." Beastboy beamed.

"Right. I'll watch the footage, and Cyborg, you can try that book again." Robin finally smiled, glad his team worked so well under stress and a stressed out leader.

"You got it man." Cyborg winked and picked up several other books that were full of spells, and went upstairs. Starfire flew out the door with Beastboy running behind her.

Robin smiled and it quickly faded,"I'm only worried because I loved her..." Robin sighed and walked over to the monitor, and sat down, face in his hands. He sighed and pressed play, over and over again.

Jak growled and grabbed out his gun," Split up! I'll meet you back here in 15. Can you handle it?"

Raven nodded," Right. I'll be fine."

Spargus was full of metal heads, and scrambling, fighting citizens. Several were sprawled out on the floor, blood gushing from gaping wounds, while others lay gasping for air. Jak growled, and shot several metal heads," We've gotta find Sig!"

Daxter nodded," Right, but was it such a good idea to leave that girl on her own? I mean, she doesn't even know what Sig looks like, let alone know this town."

"I trust her. She's obviously stronger than she looks, plus, she seems to have a smart head on her shoulders."

Daxter rolled his eyes,"What ever you say Jaky boy."

Raven shouted, calling her infamous chant, managing to pull two large metal heads off a woman on the ground. She got up with a grunt, and nodded her thanks to Raven, and ran back into battle. Raven scratched her head,"These people are warriors..."

She heard something approach her from behind, and she turned, ready for close hand to hand, her hand glowing black, when she met face to face with a gun.

"Who the hell are you?" asked the large buff man in front of Raven.

"My name is Raven, I'm here to help. I came with Jak and Daxter."

"Jak? Where is he then?"

"Who are you again?" Raven raised a brow, curious but still prepared for a fight.

"Sig. Which way did he go?" asked Sig, lowering his gun, causing Raven to lower her hand.

"He ran off that way, he went looking for you."

"Well, if you came with Jak, I guess you can be trusted. Let's go get em." Sig smiled, and Raven offered a twist of the lip in return.

Jak headed inside the old throne room, where his father once ruled. "Sig!" he called out.

"I don't know Jak. Something tells me we shouldn't be in here!"Daxter whimpered.

"No one is in here Dax..." Jak looked around, gun still drawn.

"Its too quiet Jak. Trust me on things like this!"

Jak heard something crack behind the Kings seat, and Jak hushed his friend," Shh..."

Daxter began to shake, lowering himself down Jaks back. Jak readied his gun, and held his breath, preparing to take down what ever strange thing was hiding behind the chair.

"WAIT! Don't shoot!" and up flew a flying parrot that resembled a monkey.

Jak lowered his gun," Pecker?"

"PECKER!?" Daxter crawled back up Jak's shoulder," What're you doing here feather butt?"

"Oh, Jak. It's so good to see you! I came here to warn Sig about a vision Onin had, but when I got here, it was too late! Metal heads were rampaging the city!"

"Yeah, well they're everywhere right now."

"Yes I know. Samos told us about the situation down in the sewers. This is bad Jak, even Onin can't figure out what to do."

"Calm down birdy, Jak and I got this under control" Daxter taunted.

"Right, the day I see you do something heroic, than I'll believe you rat boy!" Pecker rolled his eyes.

"Hey!"

"Enough. Right now, we have to save the city, and find Sig." Jak turned and began to walk towards the elevator, when it rose with Sig and Raven.

"Jak!"

"Sig! Aw, its good to see you aren't hurt." Jak smiled

"Who me? Those metal heads never knew what was coming their way." Sig grinned.

"I hate to interrupt this little reunion, but I think those people need our help. We shouldn't stand here catching up. That can wait for later right?" said Raven.

"Girl's right. We can catch up later. Lets go kick some metal head ass!"

Suddenly the screams of the citizens of Spargus traveled through the walls, and they felt the ground beneath them shake. Jak and Sig grabbed their guns and stood back to back, ready for anything. The elevator shot up into the roof and up crawled a large centipede metal head. Sig lowered his gun,"Aw hell, not one of these things again!"

"Raven get back!" shouted Jak.

Raven leapt back, as the centipede swiped one of its unusably large tusks at her, " So what do we do? It sounds like you guys have dealt with this before."

"Last time we could escape... We've got no choice here. We're gonna have to fight it." Jak growled.

"FIGHT IT?! Jak! Have you seen the size of that thing?! It can swallow us in one bite!" Daxter shouted.

"Daxter is right Jak! You've gotta get away from it!" Pecker flew towards an open window.

"HEY GET BACK HERE! COWARD!" shouted Daxter.

"I'll be at Onins hut! Meet me there Jak!"

"So? Run or fight?" asked Raven.

"I say we fight!" Sig pumped his gun.

"My thoughts exactly. Besides, if we don't take it out, it'll just get out and destroy the city." Jak smiled at his friend.

The centipede roared and charged for the three. Sig jumped to the right while Jak to the left. Raven used her powers to disappear and reappear in the air, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" she aimed for several large boulders and sent them hurling at the large metal head. It hit right on, but barely phased it. It screeched and lept towards Raven, who quickly flew to the other side.

"Take this you ugly mother!" Sig launched a pacemaker towards it. As the orb of electricity hit the creature, it screeched so loudly it began to disorient the group. The windows shattered, and Raven lowered herself to the ground," Don't make it scream!"

Jak began to fire his bullets, which just bounced off the creatures thick skin. "I can transform..."

"Watch it!" Raven used her powers to create a barrier as the metal head swung its lower body at them.

"There's gotta be a way to weaken it." Sig growled.

The large metal head swung its claws as Raven quickly put up her barrier, causing her muscles to strain as her mental ability was weakened. The barrier faded as Raven held her shoulder," Well you two had best come up with a way to stop this thing, or else this whole place will come down."

Sig nodded," Last time we took out one of these bad boys, we were nearly killed ourselves."

"Well we gotta stop it, because if we don't, a lot of people outside are going to die." Jak glared at the creature.

"Bullets only bounce off its skin," Sig growled.

Raven closed her eyes, and her heart yearned for her team. She silently whispered," Robin… I wish you were here." His voice rang in her head," Titans GO!"

Raven looked over at her two newest friends," Well standing there won't do any good either." Once more Robins voice echoed in her head, and Raven began to throw objects into the metal head.

Jak screamed," Raven don't!"

The Metal Head screamed as the pieces of sharp metal pierced its skin. Its eyes began to glow a deeper yellow and it charged for Raven. Sig grinned," You heard the girl, we ain't gonna kill this thing just standing here!" He launched a peacemaker bullet at the metal head, which froze in its tracks, screeching in pain, giving Raven a chance to get away.

"We have to attack it together." Raven looked at Jak who looked at Sig.

"Right, aim for the head!"

"The head?! Haven't you noticed that's where it has the most armor?!" screamed Daxter as Jak charged towards the metal head.

Raven shaped her mental abilities into sharp entities and Jak and Sig fired relentlessly into the Metal Heads face. It returned the gesture with attempts at knocking one of them over, but to no avail.

"It's working! It's backing off!" Sig grinned.

Suddenly the metal head screamed and broke free of the barrage of bullets. It charged towards them at blank speed and sent Sig and Jak flying into the wall.

"Jak! Sig!" screamed Raven.

"I knew this was a bad idea!" Daxter quickly scrambled up Ravens shoulder," We don't stand a chance!"

Raven used her powers to appear and reappear to avoid being attacked, while Daxter traveled with her," You can't think that way… I've learned nothing is hopeless…" She appeared by Jaks side who was starting to stand, while Sig layed on the ground injured, but alive," We can't let it get away."

Raven looked at them," Stay down. I can kill it… trust me." She looked at Jak who looked into her eyes and nodded. She sighed and began to levitate, while Sig stared in amazement," Azarath… Metrion… Zinthos…" Her soul emerged from her body, black as the night. Jak felt his heart skip a beat, and he felt terrified for a brief second. Daxter fainted and fell off Ravens shoulder. Raven narrowed her eyes and darted towards the large creature. In a brief second, her soul entered the creature, which suddenly stopped in its tracks.

In a flash of black, the creature exploded, and fell into pieces. Jak gawked as did Sig. The black figure flew back into Raven who opened her violet blue eyes and landed. She turned towards the two men who were still hurt, and she smiled," Easy…" Jak shook his head and smiled, amazed at this beautiful and dangerous girl. Her hand began to glow baby blue, and she walked over to Sig," Where does it hurt?"

"Ah, I'm alright… a little messed up. Though my leg does hurt like a son of a bitch." He smiled.

She gently placed her hang on his leg, and in a second Sig laughed, "Hell that's much better! Who knew you were a medic too?"

She looked over at Jak," Are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine thanks. " Jak picked up the still unconscious Daxter and they looked around at the mess. Raven scratched her head," Sorry… it was the only way that I could have destroyed it."

"Shit who cares? As long as that bad boy is out for the count." Sig smiled. Screams of joy could be heard outside, and they peeked out of a window. Bodies of metal heads were piled high and the citizens of Spargus were shouting and laughing.

"Looks like everyone is okay." Raven smiled.

"Yeah. Listen Sig, the reason we came out here was to see if you knew anything about a left over precursor artifact. Metal heads are back in the city and sewers, and Vin has said theres been some electrical interference in the city's security system. He said there could be an artifact out here that can help." Said Jak.

"Hmm, well, I thought for sure you collected all the artifacts the precursors left behind…"

Jak nodded," Yeah I thought the same thing, but I guess we missed one."

Daxter shook his head and jumped up," HOLY CRAP! The hell was that?! That was amazing! I've never seen anything like that!"

Raven blushed, desperately wishing she could hide her face beneath her hood," It was nothing…"

"Nothing? Nothing?! Are you crazy!? I've never seen anything like that before! Have you Jak?"

"No, but I have to agree with Dax. It was pretty amazing how you handled yourself."

"Yeah sure was! So what was that anyway kid?" Sig looked at her, smiling.

"It's just another… ability of mine." Raven sheepishly smiled back.

"Well, " Jak sensed she was a little embarassed by all the new attention," It was pretty amazing. Anyway… Sig. Do you think you can find a way to locate the precursor artifact?"

"I should. Just give me a few days. I'll contact you on the communicator when I've got everything set up." Sig smiled.

"Will the city be alright until then?" asked Raven.

"Yeah, the people of Spargus can take care of themselves. Thanks to this random outburst of metal heads, I've gotta do the right thing and help rebuild some parts of the city. After all that is finished, I'll start working on something to locate that artifact."

"Right. Take care of yourself Sig." Jak smiled.

Raven looked over her shoulder as Sig shook his head at the mess, and she felt a tinge of guilt. They told her not to worry about it. "Where do we go from here?"

"Dax and I ran into another friend by the name of Pecker, he wants us to meet him back in Haven City at Onin's tent."

"Who's Onin?"

"She's an old and very wise soothsayer. She's blind, but she has very strong pyschic powers. She might be able to help us figure out what's behind all these attacks. We can take the Hell Cat back to Haven, and drive on out to Onin's Hut."
