Chapter 27: Big happy family

Alex woke up feeling another body pressed closely against him. It was Minatsuki, over the last week they had taken to sleeping with one another in the non sexual sense and they both found it to be rather nice. "It's just- I thought- where did?" He took a moment to gather his thoughts and breath before continuing. "I thought you were Minatsuki." Hearing her name the brunette awoke and rolled over with a confused look on her face.

"Wait you thought who was-" She paused seeing the Albino teen in the bed. "Oh, morning Shiro." The youngest person in the room turned around with a bright smile.

"Good Morning Minatsuki!" Alex rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and climbed out of the bed.

"Shiro, why are you in my room?"

"Do you not want me here?" Alex felt his heart scrunch up as a hurt look appeared on Shiro's face. He had developed an amazing habit of saying the wrong shit to people as of late.

"Never said that." As far as Alex was concerned she was free to come and go as she pleased. But whether that repercussion was going to be from a string of swears and insults or a pair of brass knuckles he didn't know. Shockingly however Alex just sighed and cracked open his beer.

"She's moving back in with you." Ganta's eyes widened at this, had Alex managed to get Shiro to forgive him?

"Wait really?"

"Yeah, she doesn't even remember why you wo were fighting. I put up with this bullshit for nothing." Ganta thought that was a little harsh. All things considered she was pretty fun to be around even if his friend could be... a bit much.

"Really? She's not that bad. Just kinda loud." Alex slowly rolled his head to face Ganta. He looked almost completely defeated.

"Ganta, I want you to take a guess on how long it's been since I've cum." The younger teen visibly cringed at the request. So that was the issue huh?

"So it seems my little sister likes you." Ganta swallowed at how casually Alex brought that up. "Good. "Not that I'm saying you have to have it, I just wanna let you know that you do." Ganta smiled and nodded feeling he understood.

"Thank you. But I don't know if I want to start something with her while i'm still... You know." There was a grim silence between the two, the fact that they were both on death row hadn't escaped either of them. That ever present threat of death just around the corner. Alex understood his hesitation all to well.
