Sooooo yeah, insomnia, enjoy!

The looks that the goblins at Gringotts were giving him quite frankly weirded Harry out as he marched through the atrium proper with Ted and Sirius keeping pace at his sides. It was a look of loathing, apprehension, and dare he say, respect, that marred their disgruntled features.

All in all, it was rather disconcerting.

As the trio approached an open teller the goblin in question took one look at Harry and leaned back as he whispered, "What do you want with us today, thief of The Nation?"

Harry blinked at that a moment before cocking his head to the side in contemplation as Sirius and Ted shot him a look, "Huh... Know about that do you?"

The goblin's eyes narrowed as he nodded slowly, "All goblins know about your crimes against the Nation, thief."

Harry rolled his eyes at that while slapping his hand on the counter causing the goblin to jump in surprise, "Listen you little excuse for hors d'oeuvres, the bank where I was from was willingly housing the phylactery of the self stlyed Dark Lord Voldemort. I needed it destroyed, I got goblin help, I was betrayed by said goblin, and so I grabbed the phylactery in question and ran like hell so I could destroy it and vanquish my foe. I am not going to take any shit from you about it, I was at war, and I did what needed to be done to protect my loved ones and to slay my enemy leaving his cooling corpse at my feet."

The goblin stared at him for a few moments when he suddenly smirked at Harry, his sharp toothed smile expressing great respect as he nodded slowly, "I shall call the Potter accounts manager to meet with you immediately, warrior."

As the goblin hopped off his stool and wandered off Sirius glanced at Harry with a questioning look while asking, "Ok...What the hell was that?"

Harry shrugged as Ted responded, "Apparently the Goblin Nation is better connected then we thought they were, but rather then demanding reparations from Harry they respect his resolve and status as a warrior despite his breaking into an alternate version of this bank."

A gravely voice cut into there conversation gaining the trio's attention as they set their gazes upon a very well dressed elderly goblin, "More true than not. I am Spikedriver, the head of the Potter accounts, please follow me."

Harry nodded and followed the goblin through a side door and down the narrow back halls of the bank when he eventually asked the goblin, "So, Spikedriver huh? What's your real name?"

That caused both Sirius and Ted to blink in surprise as the goblin broke out laughing, "Know about that do you?"

Harry grinned in return, "My best friend in the entire multiverse was obsessed with knowing everything about everything. My bookworm was insatiable for all knowledge, and if my War Brother had not claimed his stake for her hand I likely would have done so myself. As it stands my choice to move on has already been made."

The goblin nodded as he opened the door to his office gesturing for the humans to follow, "I understand, and my real name is Mike by the way. Regardless, what brings you to Gringotts today?"

Sirius mouthed the word 'Mike!?' while Harry rolled his eyes and muttered, "Idiot pure bloods expect savages with primitive names. Give the audience what they want Padfoot, they are businessmen after all."

Mike grinned as he took his seat and nodded slowly towards Harry, "You are not wrong."

Sirius and Ted looked flummoxed so Harry decided to take the lead on this one, "Ok you lot already figured out I am from out of town so to speak. I need to claim my title as Lord Potter and to declare my ward Harriet Potter, soon to be Rose Mary Potter as my heiress and do everything in my legal rights to protect her from outside parties. Preferably also legally declare her my daughter, but that can wait for the time being in so long as I have legal custody of her."

The goblin nodded at that while shrugging, "Easy enough, slip this on your finger, either you die or you become Lord Potter. Quite straight forward really."

With that the goblin slid a wood box across the table, catching it Harry snapped it open and took in the delicate looking gold ring with a roaring lion at its center with a faintly glowing ruby in its jagged maw. The words 'FORTIS FORTUNA ADIUVAT' circled around the emblem and Harry could not help smirking as he slipped the ancient heirloom onto his right ring finger.

There was a faint flash of light, then nothing, Mike nodded as he pulled out a stack of parchment sliding it toward Harry, Ted intercepted it and began reading through it rapidly as the goblin banker rolled his eyes.

"Those are legal declarations that you are taking responsibility for the now renamed Rose Mary Potter, and before you ask yes it really is that easy. You are of age, you are respected by the nation, and you have a legal blood claim to the line. Honestly it baffles me why other humans make so much out of so little."

Harry shrugged as he began reading through one of the documents Ted handed him while dryly stating, "Wizards are typically illogical self aggrandizing fools who over complicate things to further enforce their influence through political means."

There was dead silence for a few moments too many and Harry glanced up to see Sirius, Ted, and Mike staring at him, "What? I lived with my genius best friend on the run in a tent for months on end with no real form of distraction other than research and sex."

Mike sighed and nodded, "Right, well as soon as you sign those papers you will have legal custody of your adoptive daughter Rose. If I were to make a suggestion get married sometime soon and both you and your wife blood adopt her. While the paperwork makes this all legal the adoption will bind her to you magically and if anyone were to interfere they would have to deal with the backlash of the Family Magik."

Harry nodded and glanced to Ted who nodded once, "This all looks good Harry, go ahead and sign it and we can get back home in time for dinner."

Harry sighed, and began the hour long process of signing through enough paperwork to make Percy Weasley blanche.

After that was done and over with the three men made their respective fairwells to the goblin banker and soon made their way to a muggle pub to watch a game on the telly and have a few well deserved pints.

Sirius eventually excused himself and stumbled off to apparate to his flat while Ted and Harry decided to walk off their buzz in the cold winter air.

"I'm not sure I'm ready to be a father," Harry eventually stated while staring up into the waning twilight, "I mean I know I took it upon myself but the life I've led..."

Ted threw an arm around Harry's shoulders guiding his very likely to be future brother in law down the sidewalk, "Lemme tell you an observation I've had in abuse cases my good man. There is always a grey area but by and large people in your situation end up one of two ways. One, they give back what they lived, continuing the cycle so to speak, they were abused, hated, treated like they were less then human, and then they pass it down to their own children."

Harry sighed at that while dropping his head, his misty breath flowing around him in the cold November night, "It's all the same down the line, huh?"

Ted nodded as he pulled Harry closer, "Or two, they took note on everything they had experienced, realized what had happened to them was not their fault, and refuse to ever let anyone suffer what they went through growing up. They don't shelter their children, but they protect them and teach them to protect themselves, they raise self sufficient, analytical children who will grow up to be good people."

They remained silently for a time before Harry whispered out, "But...am I good enough person?"

Ted dropped his arm as he shrugged, "Honestly Harry I think the fact you have to ask yourself that question speaks for itself. If you are not a good person, you very much want to be, and you will strive for that, but in my personal opinion? You are very likely one of the best people I've ever met in my life and I've only known you for a day and a half. So please feel free to use the next few decades to prove me right."

Harry was silent for a time before he eventually let out a light scoff, "You're a really great dad, you know that Ted?"

His companion smirked in return while nodding once, "My little girl tells me as much every day and I aim to improve just as much."

They remained in comfortable silence as they continued walking for a time before Harry's intoxicated brain finally allowed him to speak his mind.

"I think I am madly in love with Bellatrix and I have no idea why. I just met the woman for crying out loud. Yet I click with her as I only have with Hermione and I don't know what to do about it. I mean yes, she is drop dead gorgeous and any straight male would want her but it isn't just that. She's smart, cunning, witty, playful, she is everything I would ever want from a partner and I feel like she just sort of fell into my lap and I should be waiting for the other shoe to drop!"

Ted snickered at that while nodding quickly, "Oh you aren't the only one who noticed that trust me boyo. Andi has probably already gotten in contact with Cissy and the two of them are currently instructing our resident introverted genius how to seduce you."

Harry paled at that, "You have got to be kidding me," he muttered.

Ted grinned wolfishly, "Hardly, congratulations on attaining the interest of a Black witch. Prepare yourself for possessiveness, random mood swings, incredibly mind blowing sex, and quite a bit of cuddling."

Harry's brows furrowed a bit as he shot a glance at Ted, "Do I get a say in this?"

His companion snorted in return while stating a succinct, "No."

They fell back into silence before Harry finally let out a tired sigh, "Equivalent Exchange."

Ted raised a brow at that before Harry finally continued, "The ritual that brought me here, you had to give up something to obtain a new start that was equal or greater to what you would receive. I gave up a lordship, a fortune, an adopted child, and a beautiful brilliant woman I was in love with. In exchange I sacrificed my unwanted fame and influence for anonymity, and-"

Ted cut him off as he nodded in understanding, "And in turn you gained a lordship, a fortune, an adopted child, and a beautiful brilliant woman that was incredibly easy for you to fall in love with."

Harry nodded, blew into his clasped hands to warm them up before shoving them into his jackets pockets before letting out a tired sigh, "I...this isn't fair to Bellatrix. She was dragged into this by the ritual and I want her to make her own decisions... I just don't know what to do..."

Approaching the Tonks home Ted shot Harry a sly look and gently pushed him forward, "Harry I hate to say this, but I think it is very likely you who doesn't have a choice in the matter."

Brow twitching up he shot Ted a confused look before shrugging and entering the home, Andi and Nym were on the couch watching the telly with Rose sitting between them. Ted approached them and gave Andi a rundown of what had happened as Harry went upstairs to talk to Bellatrix.

He gently knocked on her door then heard a rather nervous sounding, "Who is it?"

"It's Harry Bella, I just needed to talk."

There was shuffling heard on the other side of the door as it was soon opened, he couldn't see Bella in the shadows but he was soon pulled into the room by a well manicured hand. The door slammed shut as Harry was spun around and tossed on the bed, a moment later a weight landed on him pinning his hands to the bed when a pair of soft moist lips met his own.

He couldn't help it, he leaned into the kiss and soon their tongues were wrapped around each other, and as the grip around his wrists loosened he wrapped his arms around Bellatrix's waist and pulled her closer, realizing in a moment of shock she was completely naked.

They broke their kiss a moment later and Harry found himself staring into an intense glowing gaze of lilac tinted fire before their lips met yet again, Bellatrix's frantic hands tearing Harry's clothes off, neither of them exchanging words, though both were inwardly cursing that he was wearing heavy laced boots at the moment.

The thumping from upstairs was getting more intense as the night went on and Ted couldn't help glancing up at the ceiling in annoyance, "I thought you would put a silencing ward up dear."

Andromeda let out a tired sigh as she pointed her wand above her and muttered out a few words causing the cacophany to finally become little more than a background noise.

"I did but I neglected to place it on the floor, only the walls and door. I'll have to remember that next time. So, I'm taking it the setup was a complete success?"

Ted snorted at that, "Obviously, so how did you get her to leave her bubble to claim what she wanted?"

Andi smirked at that while shrugging lightly, "Had Cissy come over, we gave her a special talk...and perhaps a potion or two..."

Ted frowned, "You didn't-"

"No," she interrupted, "Nothing that would rob her of her will, it just...lowered her inhibitions, lessened the fear that she was feeling that she may scare the man of her dreams off by being too forward. That has always been her fear since father pulled his bullshit trying to force her into a marriage contract. Scaring away someone who she actually wanted, all we did was give her gentle push forward to put herself out there and take a risk."

He sighed and nodded, "Harry thinks he is in love with her, something to do with the ritual."

Andi 'hmm'd' at that a moment before replying, "Yes, equivalent exchange and all that..."

They remained silent while watching the telly, the girls sound asleep between them before Ted finally spoke up, "So...the wedding?"

Andi sipped her wine while shrugging lightly, "No later than September of next year I would think."

Ted didn't argue with her on that not even bothering to bring up the point that it was a rather fast relationship, in the end when the Black sisters made a decision it was the world that had to bend to their will after all.

Harry stared up at the ceiling after what must have been roughly three hours of none stop mind melting amazing sex, his lover currently curled up at his side practically purring in contentment.

That had...not been how he expected his evening to end.

Harry Potter did not move this fast, he over analyzed a situation, made it needlessly complicated, and ultimately fumbled about until he finally just gave up on it and moved on.

Bellatrix Black though saw what she viewed as her's, and she fucking took it with no regrets or reservations.

He chuckled lightly at that, kissed Bella's sweaty brow, then pulled the blanket over their nude forms, perfectly willing to leave the fallout of this little encounter for the morning.

Yes, Harry's relationship is moving fast and he acknowledges that, but Bellatrix always struck me as the sort of woman who saw what she wanted and took it, damn the consequences.
