Upon entry into the next room, Zelda said "This part's designed for Gorons, you can tell"
"You're right, but we all have ways to overcome that' Link replied. he then transformed into a wolf, and raced over the gap, easily making it.
"Alright, now we float over there" Zelda said. Midna nodded, and soon, they had joined Link on the other side. Link transformed back, then they proceeded up the stairs.
When they did, they saw a Chaos Bull staring them down from the other side.
"So how is he going to get to us if there's no platform?" Midna asked, to which Link replied, "You do realize that invisible platforms are a thing, right?" to which Midna facepalmed when she realized her mistake. Soon, the Bull charged. Link turned into a wolf and started heading around, while Zelda and Midna jumped, combining their natural jumping ability with their magic to vault over the Bull.
Midna shot the platform with a magic bolt, and it briefly showed up. Midna and Zelda got onto the platform and started shooting magical bolts at the Bull, who was still pursuing Link. Although Link, in his wolf form, had easily put a significant distance between himself and the Bull. Enough distance, in fact, that he turned back into his human form and grabbed the Bull's horns. Although the size, momentum, and strength of the Bull meant Link was left precariously close to the edge. In addition, the force pushed through Link did five hearts of damage to him, reducing him to twenty-six hearts.
"LINK!" Zelda and Midna both yelled, and they started firing magic bolts at the Bull, and after ten hits, the Bull collapsed and disintegrated. Midna and Zelda then raced over to him, and said: "Are you OK, Link?"
"Yeah, I'll be OK. I wonder if it wouldn't have just been a better idea to get you two to drag me away from it, so the momentum it was carrying would send it flying over the end of the platform" Link replied. Zelda then said, "So, what do we do now?"
"Get over to the other side and go up that flight of stairs" Midna said, pointing to the other platform. Link turned back into a Wolf and raced around, while Zelda and Midna floated up to the platform. When the three of them met up again, they went up the next flight of stairs to the next room.
After they go up the stairs, they find themselves in a room where the four platforms, at ninety degrees from each other, were at two different levels. And they immediately see the force field that's stopping them from progressing across the platform to the left.
"So, that platform to the left is what we're going to have to disable that force field to progress further into the dungeon" Midna said. Link nodded, then started looking around, looking for somewhere to go.
"What about heading to the platform on the right, and working out way up?" Zelda asked, to which Midna replied "I can sense that there's a hidden room on the side route over there"
"Alright. You two stay there, I'll get over there using my Wolf form. I can grab it from there" Link said. Midna and Zelda nodded, and Link, transforming into his Wolf form and headed towards the edge of the platform. With a little floating help from Zelda, Link was able to land on the right-side platform. Wolf Link used his large paws to allow him to maintain enough speed to stay on the snow-covered platform and soon found himself in front of the small room.
"OK, problem. There's a series of bars in the way" Link said. He looked around and spied an ice block, which seemed to be held on by a narrow piece of ice. Link aimed carefully, and, though it took several shots, he managed to shoot the hook, after two hits, the ice block fell onto the switch, and the force field disappeared.
"Nice" Link said. Zelda and Midna then bring Link back up onto the platform they were on, and they head to the platform on the left-hand side. They then pass through the door and to the next room.
Here, they find themselves in a room covered in snow, with several stone pillars dotted around the place.
"So, what do we do here?" Zelda asked, and their question was quickly asked when they saw two rampaging Chaos Afro Bulls charge at them. They ran for it, and one bull raced after Link and Midna, while the other raced after Zelda.
"How about we do this like old times Midna?" Link asked. Midna smiled, realizing what Link meant. Link then transformed into his Wolf form, while Midna transformed into her Imp form. Midna rode on top of Link, and soon, Link turned around to face the Chaos Afro Bull. Midna used the power of her hair to grab the Chaos Afro Bull, and, using every ounce of her hair's strength, slammed the Chaos Afro Bull against the wall, dealing twenty hearts of damage and reducing the Chaos Afro Bull to thirty hearts. Link then charged in and started biting the side of the Chaos Afro Bull, dealing 5 hearts with each bite. The Chaos Afro Bull pulled itself up, and Link had to use his claws to stay on. The Chaos Afro Bull, however, knew this, and slammed both Link and Zelda into a nearby wall, dealing five hearts of damage to itself, taking itself out, but also inflicting ten hearts of damage to both Link and Midna, reducing Link to sixteen hearts and Midna to twenty hearts. Link and Midna returned to their human (Link) or Twili (Midna) forms.
"Sorry about that Midna, I didn't expect that Bull to slam us into the wall" Link said. Midna replied with "I saw it coming, so a split second before we were slammed into the wall, I generated a shield to reduce the damage we took"
"Alright, you're amazing Midna" Link said, hugging Midna, which she returned.
At about the same time, Zelda floats around, easily using the maneuverability afforded by floating around to avoid being hit by the Bull's charging attack. Suddenly, the bull stopped, lowered its head almost all the way to the ground and started generating a snowball, which it rolled at Zelda, which she stopped with her magic. However, the Bull had charged into the snowball, damaging both Zelda and the Bull, dealing five hearts to both, reducing the Bull to forty-five hearts, and Zelda to twenty-seven hearts. Zelda took this opportunity to try and trap the Bull's legs to stop its movement, and it, initially, works. Before the Bull can get itself free from Zelda's snow trap, Zelda was able to fire off three magic bolts, dealing fifteen hearts of damage to the Bull, reducing it to Thirty hearts.
"Now, let's see how blindly charging you can be" Zelda said. The Bull charged at her, and she managed to avoid the Bull charging at her, and it slams into one of the pillars, causing numerous icicles to crash onto the Bull, reducing it to no hearts.
"Ha, that was silly of you" Zelda said. She then met up with Link and Midna, and they noticed that, once again, they had to split up a go into three different rooms, as there is a fourth entrance that is blocked off by the force field, which, once again, had three trails going off towards the three rooms.
"Alright. So which rooms do we go into" Link asked, to which Zelda replied "I'll go through this room" as she pointed towards the room on the left, Link then said "I'll take the room directly ahead"
"I'll take the room on the right, then" Midna said. They then headed each of the rooms.
With Link
When Link arrived at the room, he saw seven strange objects. Suddenly, Wizrobe appeared again. And he started to switch between the portals, and Link, using his shield, deflecting the Elemental Bolts shot by Wizrobe. After a few shots, Link sent it back at Wizrobe, and it hit, stunning Wizrobe.
"Now's my chance" Link said. He then charged in and started slashing at Wizrobe. The four hits he got off before Wizrobe recovered and teleported away, dealing twenty hearts of damage, reducing Wizrobe to forty hearts.
Wizrobe decided to start moving more quickly, however, Link managed to cause Wizrobe to teleport behind him, allowing him to strike Wizrobe twice more, dealing ten hearts of damage, reducing Wizrobe to thirty hearts.
Wizrobe then split into seven, but Link was ready. Watching Wizrobe carefully, he found the real one and stunned it with Wizrobe's own attack. He then rushed in, and struck three times with his sword, dealing fifteen hearts of damage to Wizrobe, reducing Wizrobe to fifteen hearts. The second round of this ended Wizrobe.
The switch then appeared, and Link pressed it. The first trail back to the force field disappeared. Link then returned back the way he came.
With Midna
Midna headed up the stairs, and as soon as she did, she encountered a strange variant of the Bulls they had been fighting throughout the dungeon. It's horns, hooves and tail glowed purple, but otherwise, it seemed to be normal. Suddenly, the Bull's horns glowed, and shot two spectral horns at her, which she had to move quickly to avoid.
"Yikes. I sensed that this one was different, and I was right" Midna said. She then fired magic bolts at the Bull, and two of them hit, dealing ten hearts of damage, reducing the Bull to forty hearts. The Bull stamped into the ground, and Midna felt several hoofs appear below her, she managed to dodge three of them but was hit by the fourth, dealing two hearts of damage to Midna, reducing her to eighteen hearts.
The bull charged at her, but she avoided it. She then shot two more magic bolts at the Bull, hitting and dealing ten more hearts of damage, reducing the bull to thirty hearts. The bull did another horn attack, but Midna avoided it, and shot another energy bolt at the Bull, dealing five more hearts of damage, reducing it to twenty-five hearts. The bull, once again, did another magic hoof attack. This time, however, Midna avoided all four of them, and retaliated with two more magic bolts, dealing ten hearts of damage, reducing the Bull to fifteen hearts. The Bull attempted to buck Midna using its horns, but she avoided it, though narrowly. She then stabbed her staff into the Bull, which, combined with two more magic bolts, reduced the Bull to zero hearts. The switch then appeared, and Midna moved over and pressed it. The second trail then disappeared, and Midna went back the way she came.
With Zelda
Zelda found herself in a very warm room, and she saw the switch at the opposite end of the area.
"OK. Now what? I can't float all the way over to the other side, but I need to get there to turn the force field off" she said. She looked around and found a small platform.
"Let's try this" Zelda said. She used her magic to pull the boulder up and moved it to the lava. Zelda then leaped into the platform and is immediately attacked by Chaos Fire Bulls.
"What the? How is this Bull able to run around on the lava and not be burned?" Zelda asked herself. She used her magic to avoid the Bull, and, as it turned around, Zelda started firing magic bolts at the Bull. She got three shots before she had to jump again, dealing fifteen hearts of damage to the Bull, reducing it to forty-five hearts. The Bull then roared, and a powerful heat wave washed over Zelda, dealing five hearts of damage to her, reducing her to twenty-two hearts.
"Yikes. Not only has this thing made itself immune to the lava, it can also control heat waves to damage me" Zelda said to herself. She then, once again, had to jump over the Bull and landed back onto the platform as it progressed towards the switch. Zelda managed to shoot five more magic bolts, dealing twenty-five hearts of damage to the Bull, reducing it to twenty hearts.
A second heat wave hit Zelda just as she landed on the other side, dealing seven more hearts of damage, reducing Zelda to seventeen hearts. Four more magic bolts and the Bull was defeated. Zelda then pressed the switch, the final trail disappeared, and the force field fell. Zelda then returned the way she came.
Soon, Link, Zelda, and Midna reunite, and they proceed into the next room, a tiny room that had nothing in it. So they proceed to the next room, where they found a room with two floors. On the bottom floor, there was some ice. On the top floor, there was a switch. And between this room and the next one, was another force field with a trail that led to a switch on the second floor, on the right-hand side. The entire right-hand platform is covered by a force field.
"Can you please get me up to there?" Link asked, to which both Midna and Zelda nodded. They then levitate Link up, and he lands on the left-hand platform. Two soldiers suddenly attack, and Link must fight them. He strikes the two soldiers down with only a couple of hits. He then walked up and deactivated the switch. The first force field, around the right-hand platform, disappeared. Link then leaped across, with a little help from Zelda and Midna, and landed on the other side. He then found the other switch quickly and pushed the switch. However, as he did, Zelda and Midna had to pull Link back as a large Ice Block fell exactly where he was.
"That was close" Link said. The force field then fell, and they proceeded into the next room.
Once they got to the next room, they found themselves in a large room, with many platforms inside the room, and with quite a few Chaos Bolters waiting for them. Link used his shield to deflect the Chaos Bolters' attacks, and both Zelda and Midna started shooting magic bolts at them. However, they were shielded, and so attacks didn't seem to work on them.
"What the?" Midna asked. Zelda looked around and saw a platform in the distance, which contained a strange device that looked like a shield generator.
"Link, I can see a platform over there, where I think there's a Shield Generator, which once I destroy we can destroy these Chaos Bolters'" Zelda said. Link nodded, and they slowly move from platform to platform, with Link following close behind. Despite staying right where she was, and despite being completely unshielded, the Chaos Bolters' don't attack her. Instead, they follow Link and Zelda, with Link's shield deflecting every one of their blasts. Soon, they arrive at the big platform. When they do, Midna must start moving from Platform to Platform to avoid their attacks of the Chaos Bolters', as they have started shooting at her. After a few moments, Midna arrives as well.
Then, three Chaos Dynalfos' attack, and Link, Zelda and Midna face off against one each.
With Link
Link blocks the Dynalfos' attack with his shield, the stabs it with his sword, dealing five hearts of damage to the Dynalfos, reducing it to twenty hearts. Link takes another swing, but Dynalfos leaped over him. It tries to strike, but Link blocked it, then stabs it again, doing five more hearts of damage, reducing Dynalfos to fifteen hearts. Dynalfos leaped back, then started swinging wildly, but Link avoided his attacks. The instant he gets behind Dynalfos, he stabs it again, doing five more hearts of damage and reducing it to ten hearts. Link strikes again, and, after blocking another attack, finishes it off.
With Zelda
Zelda floats back quickly and uses the increased maneuverability of her floating to avoid the Dynalfos' attacks. She used her magic bolts to slowly chip away at the Dynalfos' attacks. After two attacks, she blocks the double-strike with her staff, and push it back using her magic. She then launches another magic bolt, reducing it to ten hearts. Zelda continues to dodge everything and eventually took it down.
With Midna
Midna used similar strategies to Zelda, effortlessly floating around and avoiding the attacks of the Dynalfos. She, however, was more aggressive than Zelda with her attacks, easily blocking its attacks and striking then every chance she gets. Whether she uses her staff, dealing five hearts each, or magic bolts, which do the same amount, after five hits the Dynalfos is defeated.
The three then reunite, then combine an arrow attack with two magic attacks to destroy the shield generator. Also, although they don't know it, the force field over the exit to the room disappeared.
"Alright then, now we know what to do next" Link said. Midna replied "Crush those Chaos Bolters' of course" to which both Link and Zelda nodded. Link used his shields to reflect the energy bolts back, and after a few attacks, the Chaos Bolters' was down. A chest then appeared, and when Zelda opened it, she found a Boss Key. The three of them then headed for the other large platform on the other end of the room and went through the door.
They found themselves in a room with several platforms, the three of them are connected to a middle platform.
"Well, I can see the boss door from here" Link said, pointing to a large, locked door on the other side of the room. Link, Zelda, and Midna then all walked across to the other side of the room, Zelda put the key into the door, and they opened it, not entirely sure what they would be fighting on the other side, although some kind of Bull would be likely.
