At the exact moment when the time chimed midnight, the Twilight Dial glowed, and a portal appeared.
"Well, this is it" Midna said. She turned to face Astron, then asked "So, are you going to join us? Or are you staying in Termina?"
"I'm staying in Termina, Nanarol, the librarian girl I've been talking to, is waiting for me. She's probably really worried about me" Astron replied. Midna nodded, then said "We'd better get going, see you around"
"Alright, see you" Astron said. As Link, Zelda and Midna leapt into the portal, Astron dropped the Fierce Deity's mask after them. He then departed from the Stone Tower Temple, and sealed it once and for all, bringing peace back to Ikana canyon.
About half an hour later, Astron returns to the Stock Pot Inn, where, to his shock, he finds Nanarol sitting on the same lounge that he and Zelda had found Link and Midna holding each other on. She had a very worried look on her face, but as soon as she saw Astron, she gasped, jumped up, ran over and hugged him.
"Astron, you're back, I've been so worried about you" Nanarol said as soon as she reached him. Returning the embrace, Astron said "As you can see, I'm fine. It was a rough battle, but we won in the end"
"What happened?" Nanarol asked, to which Astron replied by briefly summarising everything that had happened during their travels through Ikana Canyon, Ikana Castle and the Stone Tower Temple. When he finished by revealing he had dropped the Fierce Deity's Mask into the portal after them, Nanarol asked, confused "But why?"
"Because I want to be with you, Nanarol, in Termina. You're the whole reason why I stayed in Termina in the first place" Astron replied, placing his hand on Nanarol's cheek. Blushing furiously, Nanarol said "I'm, so happy that you decided to stay here with me" it was then that Astron decided it was time to confess how he truly felt with her.
"Nanrol" Astron said. Nanarol turned to face Astorn, then asked "Yes?"
"I, I love you" Astron replied, to which Nanarol replied "I love you too Astron" and they kissed, holding the kiss for a long time.
"I'm so happy, Astron" Nanarol said, to which Astron replied "I'm very happy too"
Meanwhile, in the Twilight Realm.
The few remaining soldiers hold up in the Northern Castle suddenly notice the old Twilight Dial spinning up.
"What the?" one of the soldier's asked, to which the second soldier replied "The Twilight Dial, it's spinning, Someone's heading this way!" the soldiers congregated around the Twilight Dial and, after a few moments, Link, Zelda and Midna appear.
"PRINCESS!" the soldier's said, happy that Midna was finally among them.
"Hey soldier's, I've finally made it back to the Twilight Realm" Midna said. Link suddenly looked up, and saw the Fierce Deity's mask floating down. Grabbing it, he asked "So Astron has decided to stay in Termina?"
"Yes, Love usually keeps you bound in an area" Zelda replied, and Midna added "And Astron's got kind of a crush on that librarian, Nanarol, if I remember correctly"
"Right" Link replied. One of the soldier's stepped forward and was going to ask about who she was accompanied by, but they recognised them immediately. Looking at Link, one of the soldier's asked "Are you the Hyliean guy that Midna's been talking about for the past six months?"
"Yes, that's me" Link replied, shaking the hand of the soldier. As Midna had predicted, every single soldier that he was about to introduce himself to knew who he was, and as a result, he knew what it was like to be Midna in the world of light.
"So, you're the, Hylian princess I assume?" one of the soldier's asked Zelda, who replied "Yes, I'm Zelda" and she held her hand out. Shaking it, the soldier said "Midna has talked quite a bit about you over the past six months too"
"Alright" Zelda replied.
"Now what can we do to break the siege of this castle?" Link asked, to which the soldier replied "Well, we need a soldier that can use Sword Beams, it's the only way to pass through the walls and damage the Vipers attacking"
"Well, Fierce Deity can use Sword Beams, but he needs a host" Zelda said. Another soldier stepped forward, then said "I'll wear it. I know there's a good chance that I won't be able to pull the mask of again, but if I do, that'd be even better"
"Are you at full health? Because that's the only way that Fierce Deity can use Sword Beams" Link said, to which the Soldier replied "Yes, I'm at full health. In fact, I'm the only one who's at full health"
"Alright then, here you go, and I'll guide your sword beams to hit the Vipers" Link said giving the Fierce Deity's mask to the Soldier. The soldier nodded and put the mask on to turn into Fierce Deity.
"So, I'll guide you on firing off the Sword Beams at the Vipers" Link said. Fierce Deity nodded, though the host, and Link pointed at the nearest Viper. He aimed at the Viper and fired off the Sword Beam.
From the other side
While the Vipers are firing on the walls, Fierce Deity's Sword Beam passed through the wall and struck one of the Viper's, dealing half the Viper's health in damage. As soon as one Viper is hit, the others scatter, but not before several more of them are hit, including two that are defeated.
"Scatter, but keep the attack going as much as you can" one of the other Vipers said. The Viper's continuing to charge around, avoiding the attacks.
Back to the Castle
The first soldier grabs a pair of goggles and puts them on.
"What are those?" Link asked, to which the first soldier replied "Infra-Red Googles. They come in handy for detecting where the Vipers are.
"Remember, it'll take a second or two for the Sword Beams to reach their intended target, so you're going to have to aim for where the Viper will be, instead of where they are right now" Link said to the hose of Fierce Deity, who nodded.
"There's two right there" the first soldier said, pointing to the Western side of the Castle wall. Link pointed there, and Fierce Deity aimed about five meters ahead of the Vipers and fired off his Sword Beam, and it hit, destroying one of them.
"Alright. Let's keep going, help us here" Link said. The soldier nodded, put his infra-red goggles back on, and guided both Link and Fierce Deity to strike them one-by-one. After about half-an-hour, the twenty Vipers remaining were destroyed.
Meanwhile
In the Castle of Doom, the creature in the fluid called in Viper Razor.
"What is it, boss?" Viper Razor asked, to which the creature replied, "Why the hell are you losing the fight in the North Castle?"
"They've got reinforcements, I'm just about to set out to destroy them" Viper Razor replied. The Boss then said "You had better win"
"I will" Viper Razor said. He then departed.
Back to the castle
"There's another cell there" the soldier said, pointing to the eastern part of the castle. Fierce Deity fired off the Sword Beam, and most of the Viper's were hit, though one avoided it. As the fight continued, four Vipers total were avoiding every Sword Beam. Eventually, however, they were the last four Vipers remaining.
"So, let's go and handle these Vipers ourselves" Link said. Zelda and Midna nodded, and the four of them depart to confront the Vipers and engage them 1-on-1.
Round 1: Viper 1 VS Link
Link soon arrives where one of the Vipers are waiting for him. Immediately, the Viper swings its tail at which, which Link blocks with his sword. After a brief swing, Link knocks the Viper back. The Viper attempted to swing its tail at him, but it got caught in Link's Shield. This allowed Link to strike with his Sword, dealing ten hearts of damage, reducing the Viper to thirty hearts.
Falling back, the Viper fires a shot of Venom at Link, which he avoids. Trying to take his chance, the Viper lunged a bite at Link, but Link reacted quickly enough to strike the Viper with his shield. This does ten more damage to the Viper, reducing him to twenty hearts.
The Viper then uses its tail to kick up some sand. Link shielded his eyes to avoid being blinded, but he was bitten on the arm by the Viper, taking 5 hearts of damage, lowering Link to thirty-five hearts. Link both punches the Viper and hits him with the shield, dealing ten more hearts of damage, reducing him to ten hearts.
As the Viper is knocked back, it tried another Tail strike on Link, but he deflected it.
Once again, the Viper tried to shoot Venom at Link, but again, Link avoided it. The Viper got behind Link, but when he tried to bite Link, Link struck with his sword, and destroyed it.
"Not bad. Hopefully Zelda, Midna and the soldier have as much good luck as I did" Link said.
Zelda VS Viper
Zelda quickly finds her Viper opponent, and they engage. The Viper proves to be a fast opponent, easily dodging Zelda's Magic Bolts. As it dodged the Bolts, the Viper gets closer. As soon as he's close enough, the Viper lunges at Zelda, but is caught by Zelda's staff, with a magical tint, dealing ten hearts of damage, reducing the Viper to thirty hearts.
Falling back, the Viper launched a shot of Venom at Zelda, who countered with a Magic Bolt. The explosion did ten hearts of damage to the Viper, reducing him to twenty hearts, while Zelda took five hearts of damage, reducing her to thirty-five hearts.
The Viper used the smoke to try and launch an attack on Zelda with venom, but Zelda had warped away, so the venom missed.
Zelda then struck the Viper with a Magic Bolt, dealing ten hearts of damage to the Viper, reducing him to ten hearts.
Finally, the Viper charged at Zelda, using its speed to avoid Zelda's magic bolt attacks. Zelda tried to strike with her staff, but the Viper jumped up and avoided it.
Zelda knew what to do. She used her Warp technique to avoid the falling Viper and defeated it with her Magic Bolt.
"Not bad. We'd better get back to the castle" Zelda said.''
Round 3: Midna VS Viper

Round 4: Soldier/Fierce Deity VS Viper
The Fierce Deity finds the Viper, and they engage. The Fierce Deity fired off several Vertical Sword Beams at the Viper, but the Viper avoids every one of them. After warping to avoid the Viper's bite, he fired off more Vertical Sword Beams, then followed up with a Horizontal Sword Beam, which hits, dealing ten hearts of damage to the Viper, reducing him to thirty hearts.
The Viper fires off a shot of Venom, but Fierce Deity avoids it. When the Viper swings his tail at Fierce Deity, which he blocks with his shield. Then, Fierce Deity struck with his sword, dealing ten hearts of damage to Viper, reducing him to twenty hearts.
The Viper whips up sand using his tail, but Fierce Deity uses a Spell from his host to clear it. And just in time, too, as the Viper had fired off another Venom shot, which Fierce Deity avoided. Then, the Viper tried to bite him, which Fierce Deity caught on his sword. Combining a Sword Beam with a Sword strike into the ground, destroying the Viper.
Post-fight.
Link, Zelda, Midna and Fierce Deity meet up after the fight.
"Whew, that wasn't easy" Midna said. Link nodded, then Zelda asked "So, where's the boss?"
"Well, I don't know, but I did find this" Link replied, showing off two items. Showing them to the Soldier, Link asked "Are these two what I think they are?"
"Yes, they are items to make the wielder immune to Poison" the Soldier replied. He then cast a spell, and the damage they had received was healed.
But there was no chance to celebrate, as the boss finally appeared.
"So, you destroyed all of my soldier's. Well done" the giant Viper said as he appeared next to them. Midna then asked, "Who are you?"
"My name is Viper Razor. And I must congratulate you on destroying my forces. But what can you do, when you face me?" Viper Razor said. Link, Zelda, Midna and Fierce Deity prepared to fight Viper Razor.
