Viper Razor stared down Link, Zelda, Midna and the Fierce Deity.
"Take this!" Viper Razor said, and he swung his tail at them. Zelda and Midna warp to avoid it, while Link and Fierce Deity caught the tail. Midna and Zelda then start firing off Magic Bolts, but they only deal one heart of damage per hit. However, they manage to get five Magic Bolts off each, dealing a total of ten hearts of damage, reducing Viper Razor to three-hundred and ninety hearts.
At the same time, Link and Fierce Deity get Viper Razor's tail into the ground and starts slashing. That dealt fifty hearts of damage to Viper Razor, reducing him to three-hundred and forty hearts.
"Grr, take THIS!" Viper Razor said as soon as he was hit. He unleashed a Shockwave that hit Zelda and Midna, dealing four hearts of damage to both reducing them both to thirty-six hearts. At the same time, he used the generation of the Shockwave to pull his tail out of the ground and hitting both Link and Fierce Deity, dealing four hearts of damage to both, reducing them to thirty-six hearts.
"DIE!" Viper Razor said, and he unleashed a Venom Storm, which Zelda and Midna used their magic to stop his Venom Storm attack from damaging them. Viper Razor then fired off an Earthquake, but everybody avoided it. Almost immediately, Fierce Deity responded with several Sword Beams, however, Viper Razor moved and avoided all of them except one, dealing ten hearts of damage to Viper Razor, reducing him to three-hundred and thirty hearts.
Then, Viper Razor unleashed another Venom Storm, and this time, all four of them were hit, dealing five hearts of damage, reducing all to thirty-one hearts. However, thanks to the items Link and Midna had from Hyrule, as well as the items recently given to Zelda and Fierce Deity, meant none of them were Poisoned.
"Interesting. Venom Storm usually Poisons those people it hits, but it didn't Poison any of you. Why?" Viper Razor asked, to which Link replied "We've got items that prevent us from being Poisoned"
"Interesting" Viper Razor replied.
He then takes another Tail Swing at them, but both Link and Zelda dodge it, while Midna warped to avoid it, and Fierce Deity ducked under it. Link and Zelda then fired off powerful Twilight Arrows, each dealing 15 hearts of damage to Viper Razor, reducing him to three-hundred hearts.
"I'm a quarter of the way down, not bad" Viper Razor said.
He then swung his tail again, and while Zelda and Midna warped to avoid it, and Fierce Deity ducked underneath the Tail, Link jumped over the Tail, and slashed him with a Counterattack, dealing twenty-five hearts of damage to Viper Razor, reducing him to two-hundred and seventy-five.
Viper Razor's tail, however, kicked back, and struck Link heavily, dealing ten hearts of damage, reducing him to twenty-one hearts. He then tried to slam Link into the ground with his tail, but Fierce Deity caught his tail, and did ten hearts of damage to Viper Razor, reducing him to two-hundred and sixty-five hearts.
"Take this, Sludge Wave!" Viper Razor said, and struck hard with his Poisonous attack, dealing eight hearts of damage to Fierce Deity, reducing him to twenty-three hearts. However, Viper Razor had lost track of Zelda and Midna, until they struck him with their staffs, dealing twenty hearts of damage each, reducing him to two-hundred and twenty-five hearts. However, with everybody close by, Viper Razor struck everybody with a Shockwave attack, dealing four hearts of damage to all, reducing Link to seventeen hearts, Fierce Deity to eighteen, and both Zelda and Midna to twenty-seven hearts. Suddenly, Link saw that there were tiny cracks in Viper Razor's armour.
"See that?" Link asked, to which Fierce Deity replied "If the armour is damaged, my Sword Beams will do more damage"
"Take this. EARTHQUAKE!" Viper Razor said, and when he unleashed the quake, Link and Fierce Deity avoided it, but Zelda and Midna didn't, taking five hearts of damage, reducing both to twenty-six hearts.
Finally, Fierce Deity strikes with his sword, not only dealing thirty damage, reducing him to one-hundred and ninety-five hearts, but also shattered his armour.
"Half down, and my armour's smashed. Well done. Now, let's see how you handle it when I up my game" Viper Razor said, and he generated two large swords. He immediately fired off a Venom Storm, but Zelda and Midna used their magic to stop it doing damage to any of them.
Viper Razor then swung his swords at Zelda and Midna, but both Link and Fierce Deity locked their swords. Zelda and Midna both hit Viper Razor with Magic Bolts, and they did ten damage, reducing Viper Razor to one-hundred and eighty-five hearts. Viper Razor fired off another Shockwave, and all of them are hit and dealt four hearts of damage, reducing Link to thirteen hearts, Fierce Deity to fourteen hearts, and both Zelda and Midna reduced to twenty-three hearts.
"Take this" Midna said, and she infused one of Link's arrows with magic, and he fired it. However, Viper Razor avoided it. Zelda then used her magic to catch it and fired it back. This time, the arrow hit, and dealt a hundred hearts of damage to Viper Razor, reducing him to eighty-five hearts.
Zelda and Midna start firing off Magic Bolts, while Link and Fierce Deity fire off arrows. They dodge around Viper Razor's attacks, though they are hit several times by Shockwave attacks, and, eventually, Link's, Zelda's, Midna's and Fierce Deity's attacks bring Viper Razor down.
Though by the time they defeat Viper Razor, Link's down to five hearts, Zelda and Midna are down to six hearts while Fierce Deity's down to seven hearts. As soon as the battle ends, the Soldier removed Fierce Deity's mask.
In the Castle of Doom
"Fine, I'll do it myself. But I'll wait until they get here, if they can" the boss said.
Back to North Twilight Realm
Viper Razor's last words were "So you defeated me, well done. Now take my advice, there's a transporter near here, take it seven hundred kilometres to the south, where the Castle of Doom awaits. Fight your way through the castle and see if you're strong enough to defeat my boss. Good luck, you're going to need it"
Soon, the four of them returned to the Castle, when Link asked, "Where do we go to get to the transporter?"
"I have no idea" Midna replied. The Soldier, however, said "I know where it is, but I must warn you, the area isn't totally cleaned out, so we must be careful"
"Alright" Link said. The Soldier then added "Let me quickly do one thing" and he put the Fierce Deity's mask on and used Fierce Deity's magic to slowly regenerate everyone's health. Once they did, Zelda said "We're ready"
"Good, then let's go" the Soldier said once he pulled the mask off. The four of them head off.
While the four of them are headed across the cave, Midna asked "When did you discover this place? I've never heard of it"
"It was only discovered recently, it turns out that the Twilight Realm is much bigger than we had initially thought" the Soldier replied.
"Wait, guys, we have Chaos Deku Baba's" Link said, putting his arm out to stop everyone's progress. Link got his sword out, and dodged one of the Chaos Deku Baba's bites, before slashing it to death. Zelda and Midna avoided the bites of the other two by warping and took down the other two. Once the three of them finish the Chaos Deku Baba's, they continued walking.
Shortly afterwards, Link asked "Midna, does anyone from the Twilight Royal Family know about this place?"
"No, or I would have known" Midna replied. The Soldier then added "This path is how we escaped the castle and got to the northern castle"
At this, two Twilight Beasts attack.
"Is this a relic from Zant's wrath?" Link asked, to which Soldier replied "Affirmative" and at that, Link turned into his Wolf form, while Midna turned into her Imp form, and they work together to firstly Stun, then destroy the Twilight Beasts.
Soon, they arrived at the passage.
"How long is this passage?" Zelda asked, to which Soldier replied "seven hundred kilometres long"
"That's take 1-2 weeks to get there by foot" Link replied, shocked, and Midna asked "What do we do?"
Meanwhile in the Castle of Doom
"Fortify the defences, we must do everything we can to stop them" the Boss said as his forces work to fortify the castle.
Back to the passage
"Viper Razor mentioned some transport to get us to the Castle" Link said. Soldier then walks around, and after a minute or two, he finds a Minecart. Even better, it has a brake.
"I knew it was around here somewhere. Link, Zelda, Midna, we've found transport" Soldier called. Midna ran over, and asked "How?"
"We took it from the castle of course" Soldier said, to which Zelda replied, "Then let's go". And at this, another Soldier arrived, and said "Do you need a push?" to which they affirmed.
"Alright" the second soldier said, and when Link, Zelda, Midna and Soldier got into the Minecart, the soldier pushed the cart until It got going at a decent speed.
"Good luck" the second Soldier said as they departed.
A while later, about half-way to the Castle of Doom, The Soldier pulls the brake on the Minecart. Puzzled, Link asked "What are you doing?" to which Soldier replied "I'm stopping here to pick up the Twilight counterpart to the Master Sword"
"Who for?" Midna asked, to which Soldier replied "For me"
"What about your current sword?" Link asked, to which Soldier replied "A few reasons. That Sword's more comfortable, I can channel more power through that sword and, as a result, I can do more damage"
"So, are we coming along?" Zelda asked, to which Soldier replied "No, I can sense that it's only me who should be going in"
"Alright. Good Luck" Midna said. The Soldier gave a thumbs up, then walked into the passage.
Almost as soon as Soldier entered the passage, he is attacked by Chaos Deku Baba's. In two hits with the sword, the Chaos Deku Baba was destroyed. Soldier walked up and collected two sticks. As he continued into the passage, he is attacked by a Floormaster, dealing two hearts of damage to him, reducing him to thirty-eight hearts. He struck down the Floormaster, then a Chest appears. When Soldier opens the chest, he finds a Small Key. He approaches the door and finds two torches. He uses his sticks, as well as a fire from nearby, to light both torches, and allow him access to the next room.
In here, he discovers the door. Narrowly avoiding a trapdoor, he got to the entrance to the door, stuck the Small Key in, and entered the Shrine.
Here, he discovers the Spirit of the Hero of Time. He appeared and said "You have a three-stage test to prove your worth to use the Twilight Sword. First stage, Sword Beam Target Practice" and at that, he generated five targets for Soldier to hit. Putting on the Fierce Deity's mask, he said "How many attempts do I get?"
"Two for the two stages, one for Stage three" the Hero's Spirit said. For the first attempt, Soldier fired off two Sword Beams. He hit the first target, but the second Sword Beam sailed under the second target.
"That was father away than I thought" Soldier said. He then fired off two more Sword Beams and hit Targets two and three. He fired off two more but missed the final target with his second beam. He got it with beam number seven, but since he had missed two, he failed.
"You're not going to be able to stand a chance against Charon if you don't get more accurate with your Sword Beams" Spirit Hero said. He then generated five more targets, and this time, he only missed one sword beam, missing the first Sword Beam at target four.
"You have passed Stage One, well done" Hero's Spirit said. He then added "Now for stage two, speed test. More specifically, a time attack test" he then generated a Twilight Beast, and said "Now, can you defeat this beast in a race?"
"Alright. Two attempts?" Fierce Deity asked, to which Hero's Spirit said. Once again, on the first attempt Fierce Deity was slower than the Twilight Beast. Not by much though, less than a second slower.
"One final attempt, to move onto the next stage" Hero's Spirit said. Fierce Deity focused and managed to win a second lap by a second.
"Alright, stage 3. Now, can you pull the legendary Twilight Sword out of it's stone?" Hero's Spirit asked. Fierce Deity nodded, then walked up to the stone, and grasped the sword firmly.
"Here we go" Fierce Deity said. He gave it a huge pull, and, after a few seconds, slowly, the sword was pulled from its stone.
"I did it" Fierce Deity said, surprised. Hero's Spirit then said "Now, I have one final, special thing to note"
"What is it?" Fierce Deity asked, to which Hero's Spirit replied "Thanks to the Twilight Sword, you can now control Fierce Deity even outside of a boss room, or this one"
"Nice" Fierce Deity said. Hero's Spirit then said "You have proven yourself worthy of owning the Twilight Sword. Now get out there and win", and he then disappeared.
"Let's go" Fierce Deity said. He then made his way back to Link, Zelda and Midna, who were still waiting in the Minecart.
"Did you get the Twilight Sword Fierce Deity?" Link asked when the Soldier returned, and Fierce Deity, showing the sword, he said "Yes, I have"
"So, how about you get back into the Minecart so we can get to the castle" Zelda said. Fierce Deity got back into the cart, and they departed towards the castle.
After a long time, they eventually arrived at the Castle of Doom.
"According to legend, this is the first castle that we ever had, and it was abandoned centuries ago" Midna said. Zelda then asked "Was that when the Twili were banished from, Hyrule and Termina?"
"Yes" Midna replied. Link then said "Well, whatever we find inside this castle, we'll be ready for it" and just as they got ready to go, a voice from nearby called "Wait up"
When they turn around, they find a Twili operating a store of some kind. He said "Milady, you, the Hyliean friend you've been talking about for the past six months, and the Hyliean princess, and the Fierce Deity, are you going into the castle?"
"Yes. And Malcolm, it's me, Jason" Soldier said. Malcolm, sensing that Jason wasn't lying, said "So, Jason, you've got control over that Legendary Deity of Termina?"
"Yes, I have" Malcolm replied.
"So, we've got Rupees, and we need equipment before we attack the castle. What have you got?" Link asked, to which Malcolm replied "Sure. I have Twilight Arrows, I have I have Magic Bottles and I have Fairies"
"We'll take as many as we can carry" Link said. After a few minutes, Link and Zelda both had four-hundred and ninety-nine arrows and ten Fairies. while Midna and Fierce Deity both had ninety-nine Magic Bottles and ten fairies.
"Thanks for your business, now please win, and save all the realms from this insane threat" Malmcolm said. Link, Zelda, Midna and Malcolm nodded, and they departed, headed for the Castle of Doom.
In the Castle of Doom
"Let's see how they handle what I have in store for them?" Charon said to himself as he smiled nefariously.
