Chapter 5: Mandark's Revenge

"...So all I need is to take enough money to buy the tools needed for the rocket and then the moon will be ours." Sheldon explained to the bank's owner, Justin Hammer.

"Well, Mr. Cooper, I can certainly say I am intrigued by your presentation. Now if only I can see the shrink ray you'll be using," Hammer replied.

"Of course, sir. Once I have it..." Sheldon mumbled.

"You don't have it?" Hammer snarled. "And yet you have the audacity to come in here, demanding money?"

"Uh, apparently so," Sheldon squeaked nervously.

"Have you any idea how much money we have invested in you, with so very few of your plots turning up any sort of profit?" Hammer questioned. "How should I put it; let's say this apple in my hand is your reputation. If we don't start getting back our money..." Hammer then crushed the apple in his hand as if it were made of tissue paper. "Get the picture?"

"Crystal clear, sir." Sheldon replied.

"Let's both face facts, Mr. Cooper. You've been at this for far too long. There are villains out there that are younger than you, more ambitious than you, and more innovative than you. Like that young fella out there named Mandark. I heard he stole a Pyramid!"

Sheldon then peered down at the waiting room, seeing Mandark still fiddling away at his piranha gun. Looking back at Hammer, he then nodded in recognition about his statement. "So about the rocket money..." Sheldon asked.

"Get the shrink ray- THEN we'll talk." Hammer replied in a very serious tone.

Some time later, Sheldon and his two Minion partners in crime set out to go claim the shrink ray. After hours of flying, they arrived at the lab that their radar pin-pointed as the development site. Right after running a test, Kevin the Minion rode down on the claw that snagged the Shrink Ray out of the scientist's clutches, sending them into a panic.

"Ahahahahaha! Suckers!" Kevin snickered as Sheldon lifted the claw back into their aircraft. As they flew off, another ship came into their view, stealing the shrink ray from them.

"No!" Sheldon gasped as the shrink ray was pulled away from them, realizing the person who stole it was Mandark. "You!"

"Now maybe you'll think twice before you diss a fellow villain! And to think we could've worked together!" Mandark announced.

"You mean we'd share credit?" Sheldon asked, before getting angry again. "Sheldon Lee Cooper shares credit with no-one!"

"And that is your downfall, Cooper! I bid you a fond adieu, Sheldon. Enjoy watching me accomplish what you have failed in!" Mandark cackled as he flew away, before blasting Sheldon's ship with the shrink ray. Sheldon and the two Minions were then put into a tight squeeze as they struggled to fly back home on the minisule aircraft.

"Ugh. I really hate that guy," Sheldon grimaced.
