Chapter 10: The Minions Go Shopping (and a Dance Recital)

Soon enough, the Minions set out for the shopping center, disguised as a model nuclear family of the mother, father, and child (or rather, baby). Once they stepped inside the store, they split up in search of plushie unicorn and Dragon toys. However, the Minions' curiousity led to them coming up short only finding googly eye arts and crafts pieces,a scouring brush and a plastic sphere with a snout and smile painted on as the three joined together to sing a calypso karaoke song and then get the heck out of dodge.

Meanwhile, two Minions named Stuart and Jerry were assigned to look after the young girls, only for the group to party hard on the first floor until Sheldon Cooper returned to see the wrecked room as he glared at the girls.

"It was your cousin's idea!" Sally blurted, pointing to Jerry.

"Alright, I've heard enough. Bed time, now." Sheldon answered back, to the disappointed groans of the three girls and the two Minions. "I meant the girls."

"Yay!" the Minions squeaked, happy they could keep having fun.

After ensuring the girls have gotten ready for bed, Sheldon escorted the girls to their room.

"Now then, here is where you three will sleep. OK, now good night and sweet dreams." Sheldon stated flatly as he set the girls into the bomb-shaped beds.

"Are these beds made out of bombs?" Sally asked.

"Yes, but they are very old and unlikely to blow up. Just try not to toss and turn. In any case, I have a escape manual tucked away in case of any disasters that occur overnight." Sheldon answered

"Cool." Sally responded as she laid back and fell asleep.

"Just so you know, you're never going to be my dad." Karin said with a huff as she turned her face away towards the wall to avoid eye contact with Sheldon.

"I'm sure I can live with that."

"Sir, can you read us a bedtime story?" Sweetie Belle pleaded as she nuzzled under her covers.

"I can." Sheldon stated before continuing. "But I choose not to. Good night, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite. For good reason too, because there are literally houses of them in here." The mad scientist then creaked the door shut with a chuckle as darkness filled the room. The room was silent until the door opened again as a tall shadow shakily stepped into the room. It turned out, however, to be Tim, Mark, and Phil, returning with the makeshift toy as a gift for Sweetie Belle.

"Papoy." one of the Minions squeaked as Sweetie Belle accepted the gift without questioning it.

"It's beautiful." Sweetie Belle remarked as she gave the Minion a kiss of gratitude as the Minions then left the room so the girls could go to sleep. The next morning, Sheldon already had the car ready for heading out to rob from Mandark.

"Girls! Time to deliver cookies!" Sheldon said in a singsong manner, as the girls emerged from the door, dressed in ballerina garb.

"Okay. But first, we're going to dance class." Karin answered. "We're doing an excerpt from Swan Lake."

"Of course you are. But we are delivering cookies, so if you want to go that badly, you'll have to walk yourselves." Sheldon responded, only to watch the girls walk off to the class themselves. "Wait a second, what are you doing?"

"Walking to dance class." Sally replied.

"Fine, do whatever you want, because I am certainly not driving you three over to dance." Sheldon said, trying to call the girls' bluff. "You're really overstepping your boundaries here! You'd better be in this car ready to sell cookies, or you'll face the consequences! One, two-!"

Unfortunately for him, the girls' persuasion won out, and Sheldon had no choice but to take them over and wait until practice was over, as Sweetie Belle gave him a slip of paper as she sashayed by.

"What is this, Sweetie?"

"Your ticket for the dance recital. You pinky promise you'll be there?" Sweetie Belle asked the scientist.

With a sigh, Sheldon reluctantly agreed to the tiny filly's request.

"Yes, my pinky promises."
