Peter sat there in a chair waiting for Lianna to come back from her 'break'. He sighed and laid back in the chair, watching the steam from the food gather up inside of the microwave.

"Why did she make breakfast so early anyways?" he mumbled to himself.

Soon, he heard the sound of a door sliding open. There she is finally, he thought. She came into his view, and what he saw was no surprise.

She casually walked down the hall wearing a plush, white, rob with her hair wrapped in a blue towel and rested on her shoulder. She also had a bottle in her hand and purple slippers on her feet. She saw him and smirked to him.

"Waiting for me?" Lianna slyly asked.

"Been waiting for over an hour now," Peter said, crossing his arms and laying back in his chair.

"Well the wait is over, my fair boy," she chuckled. "For I am now clean and refreshed to continue on with my magical story,"

"Yeah yeah," he said, wanting to cut to the chase. "Last off in story, part two of Rocket's operation,"

"Already then," she said.

That day was the start of a new life and journey for Oreo and me.

As the cart strolled down the hallway, I was trying to comfort Oreo in a suitable size for him to see me and not get caught.

"It'll be okay, Oreo; quick and easy...hopefully," Lianna said. Oreo just gave a nervous chitter and whine, and pressed his face against me.

"Just remember, buddy," I reminded him, "Whatever happens, whether you get better or worse, I will always still be there for you," Oreo just gave a little purr in some glee, but soon lost it when the laboratory door opened up.

"I'll be watching," I last whispered, and stretched out of the cage, perching in the same spot I did the first time he went through surgery. For some reason I felt like that was a weird thing to say, but I thought of it meaning 'I'll be watching over you', but it felt more like 'I'll be watching you be brutally handled and ripped open, good luck'.

As I watched Oreo being taken out of the cage with ease and laid down on the cutting board, he looked at me with a plead of mercy and wishing for a miracle.

"And like the first time: ear-piercing screams, bones cracking, blood everywhere, with, if I remember-oh wait! I do! My vomit." Lianna said sarcastically at the end.

"You got sick?" Peter asked.

"Dude, they open up his head," she said.

Peter just kept silent, until he cleared his throat and said "Continue," in a very quiet voice.

"Anyways, it's after the last major surgery Oreo needed," she said.

His whole entire body then was fully reconstructed. His hips were more alined with his legs and back, his shoulders actually visible and connecting to his a little, extended neck, his muzzle reformed to produce human words from what I had overheard from the scientists. He looked like an anthromorphic raccoon, or in simpler words, a furry.

"What's a furry?" Peter asked.

Lianna just shook her head and said "when you get the chance to use a computer or search engine, look it up, but as I was saying...,"

He was covered in blood and some other inhuman fluids that I didn't want to fucking know about at that point of time, all I cared about was his actually still breathing.

A scientist actually did a good deed and washed him off in a nearby sink, and thank god I had thought to myself, I didn't have any water left.

The scientist finished drying him off and laid him down in the cage, me quickly catching my ride before stranding myself in that bloody horror room.

I landed softly on the bedding they actually given him this time, and observed his newly, developed body, a little fascinated but horrified of the technology the used on him.

Peter was giving Lianna a 'you perving on him already then?' face.

"Goddamn you Peter; I was just lookin' at 'im!" she said, wanting to get back to the story.

"Sure you were," Peter teased.

"For god's sake! He was in pain and torture!" she snapped at him. "Why would I crush on someone who is being hurt and becoming mentally unstable?!"

He sunk in his chair a little, and quietly uttered out, "C-Continue..,"

She huffed, and pulled her hair back, using a strand of her hair to act as the ponytail. She continued on.

The assistant stopped the cart, punched in the password, and the door slid open. The assistant this time opened the cage and lifted Oreo up, me not realizing and missing my ride. He laid Oreo down on the pull out bed and went to leave. I quickly jumped down and ran inside so the door didn't shut me out.

As soon as the door came to a close, I grew to my normal size and quickly went over to him, checking his heart rate and breathing. He was still alive luckily, but would be sleeping for a good bit.

And he did, actually.

He hadn't opened his eyes for two days. I tried to store the longer-lasting foods in my bag so when he had woken up, he would have more to eat to restore. When he finally did opened his eyes, it was a whole different thing for him.

Oreo's eyes fluttered open, and he groaned. A human groan. He propped himself up with his elbows and looked all around the room, locking his tired gaze upon me. He smiled, and slowly stood up like a human, taking in his new appearance, but not for long. He soon after jumped off the bed, but stumbled from the new bodily balance, and wrapped his arms around my torso, surprisingly holding a tight grip on me.

"T...Ta-an-k..y-y...y-you," His first words. It shocked me very much, but I was also proud of him. I was actually kind of speechless from it.

"U-Uh...you're welcome, Oreo," I said to him, wrapping my arms around him too and burying my nose in his head, trying to stop myself from crying. "You hungry, buddy?" I asked, looking him in the eyes. He just nodded his head and laid it against me, which I couldn't help but find adorable.

I reached for my bag without moving my spot, since he was plastered on to me at the moment, and pulled out a red and brown fruit out for him. He sniffed it and took it into his new, developed hands, turning around to lay his back against me as he feasted on the exotic fruit.

I was glad to see he was well and healthy. He may had looked like a twig, but he was still alive and moving. But soon I felt a tug on my shirt, and it was him asking for more. I just chuckled slightly and grabbed another fruit. "Don't be eating too much, bud, I only got enough to give you an additional fruit for about a week,"

"Oh-...kay," he said, and I couldn't help but to give a gleeful giggle and scratch his head. I couldn't believe how fast he had already learn to talk. He must of had been watching me as I said every single word and remembered how to form his mouth to produce the sound.

"Quick little time skip," Lianna said, sipping from her water bottle. "It's now the part where things get a little hairy, and I guess that could be a pun for what happens,"

It had initially been three and a half weeks. Oreo has been going outside of the cell for English training with hopefully nice scientists and had improved a great bit since then. But today was going good until it happened.

"What happened?" Peter interrupted.

Lianna groaned and said "You'll see if you stay quiet," through clenched teeth. Peter just sat there in his chair, sitting straight up with legs criss-crossed. I feel like I'm telling a story to a kid, she thought and began to continue.

Oreo had just came back from another lesson, seeming very gleeful. The door closed and I quickly grew back to my normal size.

"How was lessons today, Oreo?" I asked him, laying on the bed with my arms crossed behind my head.

"Great!" Oreo exclaimed, putting his hands on the bed and looking at me with the biggest smile I ever seen. "Teacher talked about space and rockets and I learned new words, but the rockets I liked the most!" He jumped up and down like a little kid did something extraordinary in their words.

"Rockets you say?" I said turning to smile to him. "Well I've been on one for a long time before,"

"You did! How it like!" he said, pulling himself up on to the bed. He straighten out his white shirt and shorts and sat on his legs facing towards me, his eyes glowing with curiosity and ears waiting for me to speak.

"It was very scary at first for me," I began. "Everything shook for a little bit, but then balanced out. I could feel the ship itself rise through the sky, until we hit space and all I felt was the hum of the ship's engine. The stars outside looked so beautiful as they were passed by," He was looking at me in awe, apparently fantasizing about it from the look in his eyes.

"Rocket!" he then said loudly(we try not to talk really loud or else someone outside would notice). "I wanna be Rocket!"

"But how would you become a rocket?" I asked, a little confused by him.

"No, I want to be 'Rocket'," he pointed to himself, and I quickly pieced it together.

"You wanna be 'Rocket' instead of 'Oreo'?" I said, and he nodded with a smile, very happy with his 'brilliant' idea. "Ok, then," I sat up and faced toward him. I pulled out my pocket knife and pulled out a screw driver tip(safer than the knife obviously).

"Then I now, pronounce thee, Rocket Oreo...Raccoon," I said, quickly thinking of a last name other than mine. I then 'honored' Rocket with the screw driver. "I guess you were a little too old for 'Oreo'," I said, putting my pocket knife away and ruffling the fur on his head.

But then I realized, I let go of my guard too much.

One of the interns for the facility came in to deliver Rocket's food, and he saw me. He quickly hit a button that was outside the door and the door slammed shut. I heard gas start to fill the room and I panicked.

"Shit- Rocket!" I quickly grabbed him and ran to the corner of the room. I pulled my legs to my chest with him in between. Immediately, I formed a dome around us with my hair, keeping the strands very tight and locked together so the gas didn't seep in.

Rocket just looked at me with worry and fear. I never liked to cheat with life and physics, but I needed to know what flooded his poor mind right now, so I quickly read his mind.

He was worried something was going to happen to me. That I was going to be taken away from him, or possibly end up dying for being with him. I needed to calm him.

"I-It's ok, Rocket," I tried to calmly coo, for he started to clutch my shirt with his hands and cry. "I-I'm not leaving you, no matter what," I clutched him tight and tucked his head under mine, tears slowly falling from my eyes.

But then I heard the door slid open.

"You fool! Cut the gas!" Someone yelled. The gas then stopped, and was then sucked back from the apparent sound of a vacuum.

Footsteps then filled the room. There had to be about five people outside of the dome. Quiet mumbles quickly filled the place, scaring Rocket as I felt him shake a little.

"Williams, go fetch me the scalpel," I heard, and knew no way was I going to waste hair for nothing. I slowly let my hair drop its form, quickly sensing 'William' being stopped by someone. The five scientists store in awe as my face began to show. I just looked back at them with fear, wrapping my arms tight around Rocket as my hair slowly fell to the ground.

When my hair was down, it quickly slithered behind me to normal length. They just kept staring at me, and it grew uncomfortable by the second. Soon a brunette man walked to the front of the small group. The name tag clearly written out in bold letters 'Prof. Stein'.

"What is your name, miss?" Stein asked. His voice was just so stale to me, like no emotion existed in him.

"U-Uh...," I felt speechless, my mind in conflict with telling him a truth or lie.

"Your name, please," Anger actually started to show a little that time.

"L-...L-Lianna Argo," I stuttered, rubbing Rocket's shoulder with my thumb.

"Well, Miss Argo, I would like to ask what are you doing here? In one of our experiments chambers?" his eyes felt like spears piercing my soul and body, tearing at my thoughts and causing difficulty to think and answer.

"I-I've actually been here for a-awhile now," I said, surprising him. "I've had been on one of your cargo ships for fours years since it came to my home planet and left. I was going to leave until I saw him," I looked down to Rocket and stroked his head. "He looked so helpless, so I stayed, coming into this place with him. I've been with him ever since, helping him and caring for him; teaching him a little something new everyday,"

"That explains how well he is in the English lessons!" A scientist said. The other scientists mumbled agreements but were soon silenced by Stein raising his hand. He took a few steps closer, clearing his throat.

"So your to say, that you've been helping him and living with him," he said.

"Yes, sir, I could never leave him alone. We've formed a very strong bond between each other," The brunette scientist just store at me and Rocket, turning his attention then on to me.

"How did you do that trick?" he asked.

"T-The dome?" I asked.

"Yes, that,"

"Well it's because I just can; it's in my blood," I needed to punch myself for saying that.

Stein just then formed a little, sly smirk on his face. "Well then you wouldn't mind a blood test, wouldn't you?"

"I-I-,"

"Wonderful," he grabbed my arm and nicely pulled my up. "I'll let Subject 89P13 come along too," he put his other hand on my back and began to lead me out of the room, Rocket just looking at me like 'this isn't going to go well'.

We came to a room with the a larger cutting board and I freaked. I got out of Stein's grip and went to run out the door when two scientist caught me. A third one came and took Rocket from me as the two holding me pulled me back to the board. They started to strap me down and Rocket began to squirm in the third scientist's arms.

"Don't hurt friend!" he yelled, trying his hardest to break free from the grasp of the scientist.

"Oh don't worry, we won't hurt her," Stein said, pulling gloves over his hands. "Not unless she doesn't hold still," he picked up a needle from a tray nearby and walked over to me. He was nice enough to put numbing gel on my arm first.

"Don't you think this is a little extreme for a blood sample?" I asked, failing in moving away(I may have had the knowledge and powers of other species, but that didn't stop me over-looking a problem and seeing I actually had a solution for it).

"Don't move~" he cooed sadistically. I couldn't help but to obey him, I didn't want to cause more pain to myself by tensing up my muscles. I tried my best to relax myself, but I tensed up halfway through the process. I looked across the room to find Rocket hiding his face with his shirt, not wanting to see the needle and its action.

"All~ better~" he sickly cooed again, applying a gauze with tape then afterwards. The two backed off me, giving me room in case I might do something. I just sighed and relaxed my shoulders, breathing a little heavy for a bit. Rocket slowly pulled his shirt back down with shaky hands, looking at me then with great relief.

He managed to slip out of the distracted scientist's arms and run over to me, crawling up the board and hugging my neck. Stein just stared at us in confusion and awe, like he never saw affection in his life. I made my arms go limp and with ease pull them out of the straps, gaining form once released and wrapping them around Rocket.

"Amazing," Stein muttered "The ability to just let your body become soft and elastic," He moved his hands closer to me and I moved away, looking at him with concerned eyes. He just smirked at me with shady eyes, withdrawing his arm.

"Miss Argo, I would have to say you have such amazing abilities, any that I don't recall being in one, single body," he said, emptying my blood sample into a test tube. "What breed of species are you?"

"W-Well my mother was Langarian and-"

"Langarian!" he exclaimed. "We were never able to get a Langarian to let us test their blood!"

"How come?" I asked, setting Rocket on my shoulder and un-strapping my legs

"Well, we just wanted to sample their blood. Test them for possible outcomes of cures for diseases. But the president declined our offer, for he thought it was a bad idea for his people's blood to be in our hands,"

"I-I guess I could help out then," I said, pushing myself off the board. "I mean, your just testing for medical reasons, why not?"

"And there," Lianna began. "I have made the biggest mistake of my life. That will then, spiral. Into. Hell,"

Did not expect for Lianna's story to turn into a 3 chap. split, but don't worry, the grooves slowly coming back, and even stronger :)

Alsooo~ I might start to draw my lovebirds together, and if I get there enough, a possible comic might come out. But don't hopes too high, for Biology is coming to ruin my life.

Yeeeeeeeeeeah (T_T )
