There's gonna be a Lianna P.O.V. part in here just to let you know.
"Get that damn shot out of her," Rocket said, pointing a small plasma gun to Irot. The other medical people pressed themselves against the walls in surrender way.
"Sir, please put the gun down," Irot said, the shot still inside of Lianna.
"I said get the goddamn shot out of her!" Rocket yelled, making everyone but Irot flinch.
Irot just store at Rocket with a blank expression, and then pulled the shot out.
Rocket put the gun away, and got closer to Lianna, running his hands down her limp arm.
"Sir, the procedure isn't finished yet," Irot said, earning a glare from Rocket.
"Oh you finished it all right, you fuckin' killed her for real!" Rocket said, feeling some tears form in his eyes. "She's gone for real now, and it's all because of what you had in that fucking shot that killed my wife!"
"'Wife'? That's a pretty strong word you used there," a familiar voice said, a smile being detected in the words.
"L...L-Lianna?" Rocket said, looking up to the bed.
"Well who else, ya furry gunsmen," Lianna said, sitting up on the bed with her eyes closed.
"Why your eyes closed?" Peter asked.
"Side effect of Qubetten liquid, you lose your eye sight," Lianna responded.
"Your not gonna be able to see?!" Rocket exclaimed, trying to get on to the bed.
"Rocket, calm down, your eyes are getting sweaty," Lianna smiled.
"Where'd you hear that?" Rocket asked, managing to place himself high enough to hang on to the railing.
"When we first came into the hospital you said that, ya goof," She said, reaching over to him and petting his head.
"I did," he admitted. "Wait, how'd you know I was over here?" She showed her hand to him, and saw there was an eye on each finger.
"Okay, that's kinda creepy, but I can live with it," he said, hugging her then.
"But then why did the heart monitor say you died?" Gamora asked.
"Someone stepped on the cord that connected to me," Lianna said.
"Well, Miss Argo, since you seem completely fine, could I finish?" Irot asked.
"Yeah, I don't really think everyone would adjust to finger eyes," Lianna joked, lending Irot her arm.
He stuck the shot in, and her skin began to from a small lump. When the lump stopped growing, he drew, filling the shot back up with the purple liquid.
"That should do it," Irot said, pulling the full shot out of her arm. She opened her eyes, revealing blind eyes, until her original eye color began to fade back in.
"Aah, much much much better," she said, rubbing her eyes and blinking a few times.
"Now, Lianna, I have something very important to tell you," he said.
"And what's that?" she asked.
"You are not half Langarian, but actually full Langarian," This shocked everyone.
"What?" she said, completely confused.
"I did some tests, and it shows your father was actually half Langarain," he said, putting away the medicine and shot.
"My dad?" she said, now completely shocked.
"Yes, and with the reproduction a full Langaraian, your mother, that will make another full Langarian; not another half, not a quarter of it,"
"B-But, if I was always full Langarians, why didn't I found out myself?" she question, still confused about the whole thing.
"You could say thanks to the belief and stubborn species that live in the galaxy, they always stick to what they've been doing and believe in what they were told for most of their lives growing up,"
"So that means I could do all those other things that I thought I couldn't do?" Irot slowly shook his head yes, which made Lianna smiled with joy.
"So what does that mean?" Drax asked.
"It means I can a lot more now, but I'll list off the ones I like the most," she said.
"One's changing skin color," Her skin quickly transitioned to orange with big, yellow freckles all over her body.
"Another's changing hair color," Her skin quickly went back to normal, and her hair became a vibrant, neon green.
"Fur," The hair went back to red and she put her hands on her face, pulling them down to then reveal brown fur covering her face. It shocked everyone and she giggled.
"And body reformation," The fur disappeared and she pushed up on her head, making her neck long then. She placed her hands on her shoulders, and slid them outwards, making her shoulders look thick and broad. She brought her foot to her, and pulled the ball of her foot out, giving her foot an anthromorphic look.
"Does this mean I could make you look like a grandma?" Peter asked mischievously.
"Why do you ask that?" Lianna questioned, forming her body back to normal.
"Senor citizens are more cheaper, unless we make you a little kid that's eleven or below," he said, making everyone slightly laugh.
"Well now, Lianna, do you feel that your fully rested?" Irot asked, they other nurses and doctor soon leaving the room.
"I guess so," she said smiling, pulling all the IV's out of her and getting out of the bed.
"I, am Groot(Lianna, your torso isn't healed still)," Groot pointed out.
"Oh, yeah," She unwrapped her torso, revealing her injury covered in dried blood and a few loose organs.
"Man, doesn't that hurt?" Peter asked, feeling he might get sick.
"At first, yeah," She said. The side of her torso then began to slowly form again, the skin crawling over her wound in a liquidish manner. Soon, her torso had healed up, just leaving then a large hole in her suit.
"Shall we go on to see Stein in court then?" Gamora asked.
"Sure, nothing like a little reunion with an old friend, right?" Lianna smirked to Rocket.
"Yeah, it's the good thing to do," He smirked back.
"Off to supreme court we go!" Peter said. "Hope they don't bring up my recent records,"
"But didn't Lianna crash the ship?" Drax asked, making a point.
"So how do we get to the court house?" Rocket asked.
"We don't even know what date it will be held," Gamora said.
Lianna looked over to Rocket and then back to the others. "Off to Nova Prime we go!" she said, leading everyone out of the door.
Everyone followed out, and Rocket rushed to the front to walk beside Lianna, letting his hand then be grasped by her as they walked out of the hospital.
Lianna's P.O.V.
It was two weeks later since the affair with Stein and hosptial.
The court case for Stein proven him guilty and he was punished with incineration. Serves him right for putting that cresent indent in my torso at that time.
The team was given an award for exposing Stein's plan and we were getting the ship back. Well, not the one I crash, but an exact replica of it. Of course we had to do a little shopping spree since we about lost everything in the crash, but I was surprised with how much the guys had bought. It looked like they were holding their girlfriend's shopping bags.
Nova Prime was letting us stay at a nice hotel until the ship was done, which was very nice of her. Rocket said she could've done better for us, so I had to give him a little whip on the back of the head with my hair whilst we were there with her.
But right now I was laying in bed, sleeping with no care in the world of what was gonna come through my door.
"Lianna! Wake up!" I spoke too soon.
"Don't yell, Peter! She's still asleep!" That was Gamora then, and I couldn't help but smile when I heard the sound of a slap.
"Ow! I'm sorry!" Peter said.
"They both of ya go get ready!" That was Rocket all right. "The ship's already, so stop messin' around! And don't be yelling in here either, the doctor said she needs to try getting good sleeps to help balance her body out from the injury,"
"Rocket, it's been two weeks, I think she's pretty good by now," Peter said, but I could handle the conversation going on any longer.
"Will ya shut up!" I moan, stretching my arms as I sat up. "It's like what, seven in the morning?"
"I am Groot(It's nine-forty)," Groot said, passing by the door carrying boxes.
"Nine-forty!" I exclaimed, knowing I slept in too much again. "Why didn't you ding-dongs wake me up earlier, I practically slept half the day!"
"Well, you looked so peaceful sleeping," Rocket said, trying to flatter his way out. I got out of bed and went over to my door.
"You guys hurry up and get cher shit ready, I'll be out," And with that I closed my door, rushing over to some bags of clothes. I rummaged through them until I found my original outfit. I quickly threw it on and gathered all my stuff I had in the room, rushing out the door.
"Why is everything in the kitchen?!" I couldn't believe how bad the day was starting. "You should have it by the door for when we leave!"
"Peter instructed for us to put it here," Drax said, setting down a box. I just facepalmed myself with my free hand groaned, knowing this was gonna be a long day.
We finally got everything out of the hotel and headed to the center of town, where our ship has been placed. But soon, a little kid had confronted me.
"Hi there!" I greeted, setting my box down on the ground as I kneeled down.
"Hello," The little girl said, apparently holding something behind her back.
"Watcha got there?" I politely asked, making her twist her shoe into the ground.
"I-I made you something," she said, looking at me briefly before looking away with shyness.
"Oh! You did!" I was quite surprised, but thought it was cute of her to do so.
"Yeah, a picture of you guys," she said, already acting she opened up to me. She pulled the large piece of paper from out behind her and held it in front of her, displaying it.
It was a drawing of the whole team with the ship flying in the sky. Peter was standing by Gamora holding guns, Drax had his arms up in a cheerful manner with Groot covered in flowers, and what caught my attention the most, was Rocket and me holding hands with a heart between us.
"T-Thank you," I said, taking the picture from her. "But, how'd you know about me and you-know-who?" I looked back to Rocket, who was giving boxes to Groot, in a hopefully point-out to him.
"Almost everyone knows," the little girl replied. "I heard from my Mom who works as a nurse at the hospital,"
No wonder why, but now we might be the next famous couple. Rocket's gonna flip when that comes up in the news.
"What's your name, little girl?" I asked with a smile, trying not to sound creepy if I did.
"Maexa," she said.
"Well, Maexa, lemme give you a little something," I opened up my box and reached inside. I pulled out my old satchel and dusted it off, going to pull a marker out of the box next.
"This was my satchel I used back when I first met Rocket," I said, still rummaging for a marker. "I kept spare fruit in there and water and a blanket for him when he needed them. He went through some very hard times you know, but I was there to help him up and be happy,"
A finally felt a marker and pulled it out, opening the satchel and started writing underneath the flap. I wrote 'Take care of the one you find in need. -Lianna Argo', and put away the marker.
"Promise me, when you find someone, someone who's different, someone who's hurt, someone who's sad, you will help them get better, okay?" I held the satchel in front of me, waiting for Maexa to take it.
"I promise," she smiled, and took the satchel from my hands. She looked at it with awe and read my writing, smiling afterwards to me.
"Thank you," she said, and hugged me. It surprised me at first, but I soon returned the favor by hugging her too.
"Your welcome," I said, breaking the hug. She smiled to me once more before skipping back to her mother with her new satchel around her body.
"Yo Lianna!" Rocket called for me, gaining my attention. "You gunna hurry up or what?"
"I'm coming," I said, closing the box back up and scrolling the paper up to carry. I picked up the box and went on to outside the ship, giving the box to Groot and sitting by the open hatch.
"What did the little brat want?" Rocket asked, standing on the hatch to level with me.
"She wasn't a brat, she was actually very nice," I said, putting the paper on my lap.
"What's that?" he asked, sitting down.
"She made it," I said, unrolling it. "It's the whole team together," I laid the paper open on my lap and let Rocket take in the drawing.
"How does that little rascal know about us?!" Rocket said, looking around in the crowd for her.
"Rocket, she said almost everyone knows now, because of the 'wife' thing back at the hospital," I said, looking at him with a smirk.
"Oh, yeah that," he said, rubbing his neck. "I-It's just, ya know, I thought I actually lose you that time for good, a-a-and-"
"Say no more Rocket," I said, putting my hand on his shoulder. "There's no need to explain your love for me," He chuckled then and relaxed, leaning against me.
"But, I did get this for you," He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little black box.
"What is it?" I asked, curious of what he got.
"I got you this so you know that I'm always with you," He opened the box, and revealed a citrine crystal ring. I gasped and looked at it with awe as he took the ring and slipped it on my finger.
"Oh, Rocket, it's beautiful!" I couldn't think of any other words to describe it. I grabbed the sides of his face and began planting kisses all over his face.
"Come on, now, we're in public!" he whined, ending my kisses. I just giggled, and snuggled against him. "I love you, Lianna," he said, smiling.
"And I will always love you too, Rocket," I said, planting a kiss on his lips.
And that was the best and happiest moment of my life ever.
I hope you've enjoyed this story as much as I loved writing it, reading your comments, and seeing so many people like it. Of course, we all know nothing boring happens to both Lianna and Rocket, so mini stories of them will be made :) Also please do follow me, I don't really care about a favorite unless you really like my writing and ideas -/u/-
Sincerely yours,
