Yep. Still here.

The entire population stared at the door to Dr. Brennan's office long after it closed. After a few moments, Booth coughed to draw attention back to him. He looked a bit flustered by his friend's previous outburst.
"Just give her some time, this is a confusing thing for her," he said with a sigh looking past the knights towards the office. He moved his hands from his hips to cross his arms over his chest and looked towards Cam. "For all of us really."
Initially he was in denial as well, but after hearing everything that was said, the people in front of him and entire situation, he couldn't deny that something supernatural was occurring. He looked around to his other friends and saw that they seemed to be in the same state of bizarre acceptance he was. "I'll talk to her after she cools down."
Arthur nodded towards the man who just spoke.
"What does she mean magic doesn't exist?" Merlin asked, drawing the agent's attention to the man on the slab. He looked perplexed on how to answer that question now that what they had previously thought to be fact was so bluntly wrong.
"Uh, well, most people think magic is just a myth," Booth replied running his hand through his hair to rub the back of his neck as he looked at the younger man, an awkward chuckle escaping his lips. "Actually, we all thought it was. You know just something in stories. Make believe. For kids."
Arthur scowled and interjected. "I can assure you magic is real sir. It has killed many people and has threatened Camelot as long as she has been standing."
Well she isn't standing anymore. Arthur quickly put that thought on the back burner as he focused on the current conversation.
"Wait," a voice from behind the king boomed. It was the ever-quiet Percival to the king's surprise. "If you don't believe in magic, then what is a this?"
Everyone followed to where he was pointing to see that he was talking about the row of computer monitors on the platform.
"Oh," Booth stammered. Not sure how to explain. To his surprise it was Angela who spoke.
"It's a machine, not magic," she said with a smile and spoke softly. "It shows pictures and words on the glass."
"A machine?" Leon repeated with a raised eyebrow. "It's not like any machine I have ever seen before."
"Yes, well- um…we've come pretty far since you were last awake," she said quietly. Despite her efforts it was clear the group still did not understand the concept.
There was a small pause before she smiled largely and spoke again. "I'm Angela by the way. I'm the resident sketch artist here."
The group stared at her as she waved while standing next to the man in dark clothes. She giggled nervously before continuing. "With everything going on, we haven't really gotten the chance to introduce ourselves, have we?"
Catching on to what she was doing, Hodgins quickly piped in, "Dr. Jack Hodgins, but you can just call me Hodgins. I'm the bug and soils guy in this la- uh I mean place."
Cam stepped closer, "I'm Dr. Camille Saroyan. I'm the director of this facility."
Booth just stood there staring at his friends. When Cam had finished her introduction, he turned back towards the ancient group to find them staring at him. "Oh! Right. I'm Agent Seeley Booth. I- uh, don't really work here, I just come here for my job."
He looked back towards the group before him and they looked confused a bit. Arthur was quick to speak their confusion. "What are those terms you use? Doctor? Agent?"
Cam's eyebrows furrowed before she realized where the confusion was coming from. "Oh, doctor is like a physician, except we are scientists not physicians. We study different things. And an agent, is like, well… a solider that protects people."
Arthur nodded his head in understanding. These are weird terms. He looked at the group of futuristic people before him and then realized it was his turn for introductions.
"As you know, I am King Arthur Pendragon of Camelot," he said and the group of people nodded encouragingly. "This is my wife, Queen Guinevere."
As he gestured towards her, she nodded towards the people, and he saw that there was a hint of confusion in their eyes with this revelation, but he didn't want to dwell on that minor issue right now. He went on to gestured to each knight and as he did, each nodded towards the scientists, agent and artist. "This is Sir Gwaine, Sir Percival and Sir Leon. Knights of the Roundtable."
He looked back at the two corpses still on or encased in the slabs behind him and with a gestured to each with an open hand and said, "He was Sir Elyan, also a Knight of the Roundtable and Guinevere's brother, and he was Sir Kay."
He looked back at the group with a face that said he was done talking when he heard a sigh from below him.
"And I'm Merlin, King Arthur's manservant," Merlin said with a pointed look towards Arthur. Arthur rolled his eyes in response. They had already said his name in front of them.
Silence returned as the two groups awkwardly stared at one another, unsure of what to do next.
It was Booth who broke the silence, mostly because he felt as if the awkward pause was choking him.
"So now what?" Booth looked towards Cam, but before she could say anything, Arthur was quick to answer.
"We need to find Morgana. She was with us, and if what Merlin remembers is correct than she will be awake just as we are," Arthur was looking towards the ground, his arms folded and hand on his chin as he was thinking through what to do next.
"And Morgana is a bad guy?" Booth asked with a nod of his head towards Arthur.
"Very bad," Arthur said with a curt nod and a frown in return. The thought of his sister made the king feel anxious, sad and angry all at once. "She won't hesitate to kill us all."
"Was there a woman encased in stone where we were found?" Leon asked.
"There was but Dr. Patrick took her to the other room before we opened the stones," Cam replied with a frown, and began turning to where the British man was standing. "Dr. Patrick do y- wait a second, where did he go?"
Everyone turned to where she was looking to see nothing but empty space.
Morgana quickly ran down the hallway in the body of the man she was possessing. She had snuck out from the room during the revelation that she, along with her enemies were in the future. The very distant future. She was trying not to think about it, and instead was trying to focus on the task at hand: finding the eye of dark magic. She was sure it was in the room she had awoken in. Curses if only I had remembered it!
She moved swiftly into the room, her eyes scanning the debris and floor for any magical object. Then she spotted it and smirked. Back in the large, open lab the group was just realizing that their colleague had departed unexpectedly.
"The old man with the head injury?" Gwaine asked Cam. Cam nodded in return, a deep frown plastered on her lips.
"He's the man who brought the slabs here to be studied. But if he has a head injury, he shouldn't be wondering around by himself," she replied shaking her head.
"Especially if there's some crazy witch who wants to kill us, roaming the halls," Hodgins pointed out from behind her. She scowled at his words, still a little uneasy with what has occurred.
"Do you need help finding him?" Percival asked, stepping forward. The other knights looked ready to help as well, judging by their stances. Cam smiled.
"No, we can handle it. Thank you, though. Angela. Dr. Hodgins. Would you be so kind as to look for the missing doctor," she seemed to order more than ask the couple. The pair looked at each other and then nodded towards her before wandering down the hall way. Dr. Hodgins shoulders slumping slightly as he was forced to leave the awestriking events occurring in the lab. She turned back towards the medieval group, smiled and clasped her hands in front of her, a little amused with her own thoughts of aiding the ancient king of Camelot. "Now that we've released the knights from the stone, I guess it's time to help them with their quest."
She heard a chuckle next to her, and she turned to see Booth with a smirk on his face. She gave him a pointed look and shook her head as if to ask him what was so funny. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Oh, come on, knights in the stone. Like sword in the stone," he explained. "It's funny."
"How do you know about that," Arthur asked as he eavesdropped on their conversation. His eyes were wide with recognition of the memory of how he received his sword right before the great battle for Camelot when Morgana took over. How could this man of the future possibly know about my sword?
"What?" Booth asked. He was a bit taken aback by the sudden intensity of the king.
"How do you know about the sword in the stone?" Arthur's eye involuntarily narrowed as he spoke.
"Oh, it's an old legend." Booth relaxed when he realized what was being asked.
Arthur nodded and paused for a moment before continuing. "You all keep speaking of these legends about us. What exactly are these legends? What is known of my kingdom? What fate has befallen her?"
See you in the next chapter!
