I eased myself to my feet as everyone else began to lament and whine. Ichiya released his painkiller potion and I took a whiff, relaxing a bit as the pain drained from my body.
"What do we do now? How dare those punks run off with Wendy and Happy and Stella." Natsu protested as he rose to his feet. "This sucks, I have to go find them!"
"Natsu, get back here!" I yelled as Lucy demanded to know where he was going. He was stopped however, by Carla grabbing his scarf and giving it a yank, causing him to jerk backwards.
"You musn't be reckless! You need to think this through!" Carla scolded him, as she hovered in the air on her wings. I widened my eyes as I took in that she did in fact have wings, the same as Happy and Stella. "Although I am concerned about Wendy, the kit, and that tomcat, this is a dangerous foe. We cannot charge in without a plan for fighting them."
"I wholeheartedly agree, Lady Carla." Jura nodded in agreement and I scoffed. "The enemy is far stronger than we anticipated." Jura continued, only to have Carla interrupt him.
"But first, we need to attend to your friend."
I inhaled sharply as I realized Erza wasn't standing with the rest of us. I followed her scent through Ichiya's parfum, to find her leaning against a tree, with her arm turning purple from what smelled like poison.
"Erza!" I yelled out and dashed over to her, pausing as she gasped out in pain.
"I'm no doctor, but it looks like the poison is spreading." Lucy deduced as we watched the purple glow move up another inch.
"What my honey needs, is more of my pain killing parfum!" Ichiya yelled out as he increased the amount of potion circulating.
As the trimens filled Lucy in on the effects of the parfum, I helped ease Erza to sitting against the tree, only for her to scream out once again. "That shit's not helping, if anything it's making it worse, dial it down!" I snapped at Ichiya, turning back to Erza, ignoring the Trimens grumbles.
"Erza can you hear me?" I asked leaning to try to see if was responsive to us at all. I was promptly ignored, as Erza apologized, then grabbed Lucy's belt, tying it around her arm above the poison.
"It's harsh but it's the only way." Erza declared between gasps as she plunged her sword into the ground. "Somebody cut it off."
"At least give us some time to find an antidote." Gray cried out, his eyes going wide.
"I don't have time." Erza panted out.
"Erza, we have options, I can-" I was interrupted as Lyon;s voice echoed throughout the plateau.
"Very well. I will do it." Lyon stated as he withdrew the sword from the ground.
"Put down the sword, Lyon!" Gray yelled as he got in front of Erza and I.
"If you take one more step, I will kill you where you stand." my voice echoed as the group paused in their murmurings, horrified at my statement. I didn't take my eyes off Lyon, his dead eyes boring into my cold ones.
"Do it!" Erza stated and I whipped my head around to face her.
"Erza, I can freeze you, that's slow down your heart rate, give us time to come up with another solution." I argued but she shook her head.
"I can't fight if you do that!" Erza argued as Lyon took another step, and began to swing the sword down. It caught on the edge of my icey hand and stopped. I snarled at Lyon as ice began to coat the rest of my body. I gripped the blade harder, and harder, causing it shatter in my hand.
"Her arm is more important to you than her life? Where are your priorities?" Lyon mocked as he took a step back. I rose and turned to face him as my hair began to crystallize and writh, like living ice.
"If I believed her life was our priority, maybe I wouldn't have an issue. But we haven't exhausted our other options yet!" I growled, causing Lyon to scoff at me. Our staring match was interrupted when Erza went down with a cry.
Lucy and I gathered close to Erza, while the others stared in horror.
"We need Wendy." Carla declared, stopping our panic cold. "She could save your friend. This is no time for us to be bickering amongst ourselves. We need to work together to come up with a plan to rescue Wendy, and I suppose those other cats too."
"Are you saying that little girl has some kind of anti-venom magic?" Eve questioned as hope began to dawn on us.
"Not just anti-venom magic. She can cure fevers, relieve pain, and heal wounds." Carla explained.
"That's crazy. Everyone knows healing spells are lost magic. There's no way the kid could use them." Sherry scoffed and I glared at her.
"Do her powers have anything to do with that whole, Maiden of the Sky, thing?" Lucy asked.
"Yes they do. You see, that little girl is the Sky-Dragon slayer. She's Wendy the Sky-dragon." everyone gasped at Carla's announcement.
"She's a dragon slayer too?!" Natsu exclaimed excitedly. I cocked an eyebrow at Carla, who declared she would tell us more after Wendy was rescued.
"I don't think so." I declared quietly, causing everyone to look at me. "So the kid's a dragon slayer, I'm thrilled. Hell, I'm glad to meet another female slayer. But when exactly were you going to pipe up with this information? After Erza was lying on the ground, bleeding from a stump?" I stared coldly at Carla who returned my gaze. "You only revealed this information because it suited you. No other reason. You could care less about Erza, or Stella and Happy. I'll get the kid back, but I don't trust you as far as I can throw you."
Carla rolled her eyes, and looked at me with an imperious expression. "I could care less what you think about me. As long as Wendy's safe, that's all that I care about. Wendy is the only wizard capable of saving your friend. Unfortunately the Oracion Seis want her too for some unknown reason."
"Then I guess we've got no other choice." I gently laid Erza on the ground and exchanged looks with Natsu, Gray and Lucy. "We've got to rescue Wendy."
"Okay, are you with me?!" Natsu roared, as we all stood together in solidarity.
