Chapter 23: The Quest for More Money
It was just another day at the Griffin house. The Straw Hats and Ace were watching TV. Of course it was a commercial.
(Cut Away)
Tired of off brand Slinkys?" asked the announcer.
"Not really, this off brand slinky is rainbow colored!" said a little girl.
"This one is shaped like a star!" said a little boy.
"But Slinkys are better quality." Said the announcer.
"We don't care," said the little boy.
"Yeah!" agreed the little girl.
"Of brand Slinkys! They come in shapes and colors Slinkys don't." said the announcer

That was when suddenly a truck driven by Peter suddenly crashed through the house.
"Peter!" yelled Nami.
"I'm a truck driver now!" said Peter.
"You just crashed into the house you idiot!" yelled Sanji.
Sometime later Lois and Brian were going through the funds to get the house fixed.
"Combined with Peter getting fired from his new trucker job…" said Brian, "I don't think we can get the house fixed…"
"My account doesn't have enough money…" said Lois.
"How are we going to get the money for this mess?" asked Brian.
That was when Nami walked in, both of them looked at her as she went to look to see what's in the fridge.
"Nami…" said Lois.
"What?" asked Nami.
"Can we barrow some money from you." Said Lois.
"Um… well…" said Nami, "Look at the time."
She ran of the room quickly.
Both Brian and Lois glared at the spot where Nami was.
They decided to talk to Luffy about this since he was the captain and all.
"You want me to ask Nami to lend you the money to pay for expenses… I don't know…" sad Luffy, "The last time I asked her money she distracted me somehow…"
"Did it involve meat?" asked Lois.
"How did you know?" asked Luffy.
Both Lois and Brain stared at him.
Lois and Brain decided to outright confront Nami.
"Nami! We need to talk about money." Said Lois.
"Hold on a second." Said Nami pulling out a strange thing that was a stick with a black and white wheel on it.
She pulled a string and the wheel began to spin.
"What were we talking about?" asked Brian.
It was dinnertime… Sanji was preparing a meal.
"Sorry but I had to water the soup down, we didn't behave enough money to go grocery shopping today." Said Sanji.
"Don't blame me! I didn't do nothin'." Said Peter.
"Hey does that mean we have to go hunting for food?" asked Luffy.
"I wouldn't remind it…" said Brian.
"Don't worry, I'll watch him… what's the worst that can happen…" said Ace.
Sometime later…
"I'm here, covering the forest fire believed to be caused by Ace from the anime and manga series One Piece.' Said Tricia Takanawa.
In the Griffin Living room the all stared at Ace and Luffy.
"Do we want to know?" asked Brian.
"Yeah… it's better you don't." said Ace.
"At least we brought home a ton of deer meat." Said Luffy.
"Yeah but now we probably owe even more money…" said Lois.
"Actually I agree to pose be the Abs dabble in the firefighters catalogue." Said Ace.
"Why can't they do it?" asked Lois.
"Well…"s said Ace.
(Cut Away!)
The Photographer for the fire fighters colander vomited the fireman he was working with had horrible scars all over his torso.
"What do you expect! I fight fires all day!" yelled the fire fighter.
And now an announcement from Emma Iveli.
"Sorry… I know they're not covered in scars and they do work hard but I got a beef with firefighters… they did more damage to my apartment than the fire did last year… just understand my bias…" said Emma Iveli.

"Please Nami… please just give us some of the money." Said Lois.
"No! I don't have any." Lied Nami.
"That's a lie and you know it!" said Zoro.
"Last two chapters you got paid for us to appear at the anime convention." Said Ace.
"Look… just let me keep the money." Said Nami.
"You can't even bring it back for whenever the author sends you guys back." Said Peter.
Nami glared at Peter then left the room.
"Well that was nothing…" said Peter, "Oh I have an idea! Why don't we have a sexy car wash!"
"As long as your not part of it…" said Sanji.
"Oh…" said Peter, "But I wanted…"
"We're not eating that joke from canon." Said Sanji.
"Come on!" yelled Peter.
And so they had a sexy carwash… but only the guys who did it.
Vivi wasn't allowed being under 18.
As they did they noticed the same group of fan girls appear over and over again… with a messy car." Said Luffy.
"Yep it sure get messy!" said one of the girls.
"It doesn't help that a giant mud monster is wrecking downtown." Said another of the girls.
Meanwhile downtown a giant mud monster was well… wrecking the place.
And what were the super heroes doing?
Having coffee at a café.
"Why did we even come to Quahog anyways?" asked Superman.
"I have no idea." Said Bat Man.
"So should we stop this mud monster?" asked Superman.
"I'll stop them,…" said Batman, "Cause…"
"No… no… please don't…" said Superman.
"I'm Batman!" said Batman.
Superman face palmed…
"You're not Batman! I'm Batman!" said Adam West appearing.
"No I'm Batman!" yelled Batman.
"No I am! I was Batman before it cool!" said Adam West.
Superman just face palmed hopping it would end soon.
After the carwash, Lois ran the numbers.
"We barely made a profit…" she muttered.
"What are we going to do now." Said Peter.
"Something I should have done a long time ago!" yelled Lois.
She ran up to Meg's Room and punched Nami.
"You bitch! Give us any money we need! We have been housing you and your crew and all but you have been helping us make due!" yelled Lois, "So give me the money now."
Nami tried to reach for her staff but Lois punched her again.
"Why you!" yelled Nami.
Nami tired to attack her but Lois kicked her into the wall.
"I can't do this all day!" said Lois.
"Fine…" muttered Nami.
She recalled and opened a large box full of cash.
"Here!" said Nami, "It helps I just stole a ton from the same guy I got the World's Most Distracting object from he was a con artist anyways…"
Meanwhile in Oregon…
Stan Pines checked his safe.
"Damn it she stole all the money too!" yelled Stan.
Downstairs... his great niece and nephew were wondering what he was yelling abut.
"What's he yelling about?" asked Dipper, his nephew.
"If I were to guess, that anime girl that was here for some reason stole all of his money…" said his niece Mable like it was nothing.
"Oh okay… "said Dipper reading an old journal, "Wait… what?"
The next day at the Griffin's house the Straw Hats were watching TV with the wall now compete fixed.
"At least it's over…" said Nami.
That was when suddenly an ambulance driven by Peter crashed through the wall.
"Seriously!" yelled Nami.
"I'm an ambulance driver now." Said Peter.
And so... .it was all for nothing…
