Hiruzen hmmed as Crash finished his tale, his mind awhirl. The appearance of this party from the Wumpa Islands could be a boon in more ways than immediately obvious, for sure, but reaping the benefits will take a carful hand. Now how best to start this…? Ah!

"Now, Bandicoot-dono, I must repeat my question from earlier. What, exactly do you hope to accomplish here? Because while I can appreciate the bonds of found-family, this Village cannot afford it's Jinchuuriki to have his loyalty divided between two places." He said in a leading tone.

Coco spoke before her brother could open his mouth, "Well lucky for you, we came here with the intention to pen an alliance." The Chief turned to glare at his sister but she only smiled beatifically back at him, and he gave up on it, theatrically throwing his hands up in the air, before turning back to Hiruzen, "Just so, but!" He held up a finger to punctuate, "With a boat load of conditions!" He went on, "Starting with these two." He held up two fingers now, "One, is that you raise the graduation age of your academy to fourteen," He pulled down a finger, "Two," He took in a dramatic breath, "Is that your military cease all acts of rape, murder, kidnapping, extortion, and theft that do not directly contribute to the safety of your Village." He said in a fast monotone.

For a moment everyone in the room stood still. The Hokage blinked a few times, then hardened his face, "Crash-dono, what-"

"Listen child." The ninja were taken aback as Aku-Aku- floated directly in front of the Hokage's desk, the wood of his mask pulled into a look of calm distaste, "I'm over a'million-years-old and I have NEVER heard of such systematic evil as what happens in this village. Minato knew it, as well as us looking after Naruto, he asked that we set about the plans he had for dismantling the shinobi system. One way or another we're going to do so. And if you will not heed the wishes of a dead-man, you will bend to a nation with more veteran warriors than you have people in this damn country!"

Hiruzen could feel the headache coming back, and it brought friends, but schooled his face. He glanced at the jonin and chunin in the room, discounting the ANBU hidden on the ceiling, to gauge their reactions. Iruka was clearly confused and angered by the diatribe, while Kakashi looked pensive and… hopeful? 'So they weren't lying about Minato's intentions for the Shinobi World…' he mused looking back to Naruto's pleading expression. He considered a moment more, then, "Crash-dono, I certainly hope you didn't intend to offer an alliance of which the soul benefit is not having to fight a war you threaten me with."

Crash gazed at him, "Not good enough." Hiruzen narrowed his eyes as the chief continued, "I get your trying to agree without actually saying so, and that, is not enough." The bandicoot's eyes seemed to catch alight, "I will not have a reluctant partner in fixing this world, and not because I fear you jumping ship. If you drag your feet on this it will slow us down, and I'm not have'n it. So either buck your ideals up or get out of the way entirely."
