Kyle went to Texas for no apparent reason and then Stan went there too to marry him, but Kyle had actually came back to South Park. Then Stan tragically died in 10/12. The plot twist however is that Stan never went to Texas he went to Italy instead to visit his grandma's grandma as well as his let's just say cousin.
