Tsume emerged from the tunnel and walked down the alley. He had to get his assassins back, but first get away from Arata. Suddenly he bumped into a White Lotus member. What were they doing here.
"Why didn't you kill Yuzin?" he asked.
Tsume did not reply. "Anyway that is hardly the worst thing." the man added. "I have heard rumors that you have kidnapped pregnant women from the Fire Nation. Rumors that my men have recently confirmed. Arashi does not tolerate that behavior."
"Then I resign." Tsume said.
Tsume buried the man down to his knees. He lunged at him and stabbed him in the head. That would be a fitting message for Arashi.
Still in the Avatar state, I looked up and saw where Tsume had escaped. He had crawled up a tunnel and sealed it shut. No ordinary earthbender could push there way through, but I wasn't ordinary.
I airbent myself upward, and slugged at the earth above. It crumbled into powder as my bending powered punches slammed into it. I rose through the tunnel breaking my way as I went.
After punching through, I finally broke the surface. Tsume was nowhere, but there were White Lotus soldiers everywhere.
Immediately I lashed out. I threw a massive airblast sending them flying back. A snake of water slide towards me. I lifted my hand and it curved around me, going straight back to the sender.
Behind me I heard airbenders jump down from roofs. With a motion there air cushions vanished and they slammed into the ground.
More Lotus soldiers emerged from the streets. I held out my hands and dissipated there various bending blasts at me. I stomped the ground, splitting it into a massive gouge. The gouge then expanded forwards, knocking away the soldiers before it.
I took a deep breath and breathed out, letting out a massive sheet of flame. The soldiers ducked and retreated in terror of the brilliant flames.
With the area cleared I walked into an ally. I began to feel lightheaded. The glow in my eyes faded and I collapsed to the ground.
Gansu and the group stood just outside the doorway to the Iron Assassin's lair, surrounded by White Lotus soldiers. The groups stood, ready with bending stances and weapons. A few tense moments passed.
Gansu felt footsteps as a group climbed the stairs. A group of assassin burst throw the door. The Lotus soldiers opened fire, but not at the group but at the assassins. The group ran as they saw there enemies clash.
"I thought Tsume worked for Arashi." Sela remarked.
"Guess they had a falling out." Tetsu replied.
The group dashed down the street. At the corner they ran into a group of fire soldiers. Kaze swirled the air and the fireballs were deflected off the barrier. Tetsu made pillars bellow them and sent them flying.
The group dashed around the corner and airbending soldiers jumped down from roofs. One of them created an airball in his hands but Sela threw a bola at him. It wrapped around his wrists and Sela punched him out.
Kaze made an air scooter and charged at a soldier with a similar one. They lifted there hands, filled them with air, and slammed into each other.
Kaze and the soldier bounced backwards. They got there bearings back and charged again. Kaze circled around him and took a swing at him, but he turned around in time to block her.
The soldier took a swing back but Kaze rolled back. The two went side to side punching and dodging each other. Suddenly a pillar emerged under the soldier, who flew into the air. Kaze threw her scooter at his and they canceled each other out.
A couple of soldiers surrounded Genji who tried to swipe at them with his shock glove. The soldiers jumped and dodged out of his reach. Kaze threw an air blast and one of them tripped. Genji tagged him with his glove and he collapsed.
Genji opened up a gas canister and Kaze directed the gas towards the remaining soldier. The soldier tried to push it away, but Kaze manoeuvred it around his blasts and into his mouth and nose.
The group advanced onwards and came to a crossroads where Iron Assassins and White Lotus soldiers exchanged fire. Tetsu and Gansu moved to the sides of the group and they preceded across the street. They created walls to blocked the incoming fire.
The walls cracked and shoke. The earthbenders lifted there hands and tried to reinforce it. Despite this, the walls exploded into rubble and blasts hurled at the group from both sides. Tetsu and Gansu lifted boulders to block the various shots at the group.
Fireblasts, nails, rocks, and water whips slammed into the rocks Tetsu and Gansu lifted. The group scrambled and got past the intersection.
After a few more streets the group came across a tube. Kaze opened it up. "Ewww" she complained as she pinched her nose.
"Is this the only way out?" Sela asked.
"Yes" Gansu confirmed.
"Then let's do it." Sela said.
I woke up to a cold feeling on my face. I felt a vague swaying sensation. I opened my eyes and I saw a metal floor. I lifted my head and slammed into something. I was to tired an to numb for it to really hurt. I looked and saw I was in a tight metal box. I could see a group of men through the grate.
One of them knelt down. "Look who's awake." he said.
"What is this about?" I asked.
"You're the Avatar." he replied.
"You're working for Arashi?" I asked.
The man's face cracked into a smile and he began to laugh. He stood up and walked away while continuing to laugh. Some of the men chuckled too.
