Chapter Twenty-Six:
Visola approached my cell again, and I shivered in anticipation for some more "playtime". "Oh Avatar, aren't you so happy to see me." Visola said in mockingly sweet voice.
I sighed in disgust. "What?!" Visola remarked. "You don't like me. I don't care. You're my toy."
She swung my hand and made me head my head. Then she made me do the same with the other. My forehead stung as my hands smacked it repeatedly. Visola giggled. "What a fun little toy."
My fist slammed into my gut, knocking the wind out of me. I feel limply, with the chains holding me up. My arm swung again and hit my groin. I held my breath, trying to hold it in. I clenched my jaw, pushing my lips together. But then I failed, I let it out.
I screamed in pain, letting out a primal wail. Visola laughed at my pain, giggling with cruel glee. She then stepped into my cell. "Aw Avatar, did that hurt?" she teased. She lifted her hand and my copied, placing our palms together. "Poor little Avatar. Such a cute little toy."
She placed her other hand on my neck. It started to feel sore, and I grew lightheaded. My head slumped downwards and my vision grew black. Visola released her grip and I suddenly snapped awake. "Going sleepy time little Avatar." she taunted.
She continued to block the blood in my neck, let me pass out before opening it back up, before continuing the cycle. After she woke me up once more it was time to act, I eyed the keys on Visola's waist. I was her special prisoner, she would trust no one but herself with them.
While Visola was distracted, I took the keys and placed a pair of fake keys in their place. The man across the hall had slipped me bits and shavings of metal to create the decoys.
I then waited for "playtime" to end before making my next move. Visola grabbed my arm, and my hand went limp. She poked it, but I did not feel anything. She pinched and scratched but I only felt pressure. Then she let go and it hurt again.
I winced, but I had been through worse so I didn't make a sound. Visola poked my chest, then scratched gingerly at it. She then walked her fingers down to my gut and gave it a few pushes. She repeated the motions, and I started to feel funny.
Visola began to grin and she saw my reactions. She kept touching at my chest and stomach, getting increasingly excited.
After some more "playtime", I was determined to get out as soon as possible. When Visola left, I made sure to wait as much as I could. I figured she had left so I grabbed the keys and unlocked myself, then I unlocked the door.
I hurried over to the man and grabbed his cell bars. I pulled on them, and they bent and snapped. "Anyone here who could help us?" I asked him.
"I'll show you the cells, you break the bars." he replied.
We ran down the halls and confronted some guards. The guards dropped into stances, and I hurled fireballs at them. The guards lifted water from there pouches, but the man grabbed the water and slammed them into them. The man pointed to a cell. "That one, he's one of us."
The man in the cell looked up at us. "You've got the Avatar? Great, help me out."
I pulled open the cell while the man collected the pouches from the guards. The three of us continued down the halls. We came across a staircase and saw some guards climbing down towards us. The man spread water on the steps and froze it. The guards in front slipped and tumbled down. I crumbled the steps and tripped more of the guards.
The three of us walked over the stars, stepping over the scattered guards. At the next level the man pointed to a couple cells. "Get those guys and we'll keep going up. We've got a few more levels till we reach the surface."
I rushed over to a cell and pulled at the bars. I saw a waterblast coming at me and lifted up a wall from the floor. I tugged more at the bars and they snapped open. I crossed the hall to another cell and dodged a water shot. I pulled at the bars while the man exchanged shots with the guards.
After pulling open the cell we all backed away, blocking and dodging incoming waterblasts on the way. We went back up the stairs skipping a couple of floors. When reached the ground floor I pulled open a few more cells while the men I rescued exchanged shots with the guards.
I then slammed the floor sending a wave towards the guards. The men and I charged down the halls. "How close are we to the outside?" I asked.
"Just a couple of turns." a man replied.
After coming across a corner, I slammed my hands on the wall, and heard a crunch. I slammed again and large chunk fell out, revealing the open plains. We all ran out of the prison into the open air.
When we came across a fence, I ripped it down and we continued down the windswept plains. "Okay we're out, where do we go now?"
A man nervously approached Nao. "There's been bad new. I need to speak to Visola right away."
"Can it wait?" Nao asked.
"No it can't." he replied.
"She's in her private quarters." Nao said.
The man went into her room but did not see her. He figured she was bathing, the last thing he wanted to do was to interrupt her, but not telling her the news would be even worse. He went up the the tunnel that lead to her bathing room. It was lined with sharp icicles. They moved, which meant he could enter.
He walked down the icey tunnel into Visola's bathing room. She sat in a tub made out of ice, filled with steaming hot water. She rose and sank in the water, sighing and gapsing. "Lady Vis..." he tried to say.
Visola lifted her finger to cut him off. "Oh Avatar, my little toy."
"That's the problem." the man said.
"What's the problem?" she replied.
"The Avatar, he's escaped."
Visola shot out of the water. She grabbed the man and slammed him into the wall. She went up through the tunnel and grabbed some clothes. She stepped out of her room and looked over to Nao. "Get the Avatar back now!" she furiously declared to him.
Nao went to assemble the troops, and when out of Visola's earshot, quietly chuckled at her most likely unintentional pun.
Visola went over to the prison and confronted the warden. As soon as her saw her anger he froze in fear. She grabbed him by the collar and screamed in his face. "You complete imbecile! You let the Avatar free! I told you he was my personal toy, and for you to not let him out."
"I'm sorry" he pleaded.
Visola created a spear out ice and stabbed the warden. She kicked him, and his body slid of the spear onto the floor. She turned and grabbed a guard by the neck and threw him against the wall. She grabbed two more and slammed them together. "You useless bunch of idiots. Go back and find him now!"
