Epilogue:

I woke up on a nice comfortable bed. For once my back felt good after waking up. I got dressed and walked over to the dining room. There Tetsu, Kaze, Sela, and Genji waited. "How long do we have?" I asked.

"More than enough." Sela replied.

"Sit down and eat." Tetsu added.

I sat down and began eating breakfast. "Man I still can't get over how nice this new house is." I said.

"Finally paid for it." said Tetsu. "The payment for the old estate finally came through. We've enough to pay for the house and the gym too."

We continued eating breakfast while casually chatting. After that we stepped out and walked down the street to the new gym. A few early riser were gathered around. As we waited the crowd grew.

I picked up the mic. "I am proud to announce the grand opening."

A wave of applause surged through the audience. We all took turns with the mic, thanking the crowd. Then Tetsu pulled out a massive pair of scissors. He stepped towards a thick metal cable, made from dozens if not hundreds of wires. He opened up the scissors and cut through it like it was paper.

The crowd cheered and headed into the gym. The all crowded to the various exercises. Benders exchanged shots in mock pro-bending arenas, and non benders practiced with shock gloves and bolos on dummies and each other.

I saw Kuma Beifong observing it all. "Pretty impressive place you got." she said. "Heard brother sold the old family home."

"Thanks." I said. "Nice that you got your job back."

"It's pretty hard work with all the trials I gotta speak at." she said. "Got quite a few guilty pleas, but some are stubborn."

"Good to see everything's back to normal."

"Arashi's trial is going to be the big one." she added. "Then we hand him over to the Fire Nation."

"I'm sure Yuzin will be more than happy to get a crack at him."

"By the way, someone wants to talk to you."

I turned around and there was Kinto. "Nice to see you." I declared.

"Wouldn't miss it." he replied. "Maybe you should go down and check out the Southern Water Tribe."

"Maybe someday."

Kinto stepped into a group of benders practicing against each other. "Who wants to face a bloodbender."

The group awkwardly stepped back from Kinto, and glanced at each other nervously. "Didn't think so." he replied.

Thanks for reading. I plan to write a spinoff focusing on Republic City in Arata's absence, a prequel focusing on an OC, as well as other unrelated projects. Will Arata's adventures continue? I don't know for now. See you later.
