Epilogue

218 Day Later

Sleeping in was something Emma was never really good at. She was an early-bird-gets-the-worm type of girl. But being slowly woken up by a gentle rocking and the soft sound of waves lapping against the side of a vessel wasn't half bad either.

Before she even opened her eyes, she stretched her body, feeling all the wonderful after affects of the night before.

Two sun-tanned bodies, moving together so perfectly with the waves of the sea. Beard scruff and salt water kisses, moving down her body, reaching her most sensitive area. Every time was different, but every time was amazing. She had no idea where his tongue stopped and his fingers began. The teasing was too much as she called out his name.

"Killian, please," she breathed between heavy sighs.

Pressing harder with his tongue, Emma arched her back to satisfy her core's need. He curled his finger just right and she came undone in his hand.

Letting her ride out her pleasure, Killian placed a love bite on the inside of her thigh before he came back to her level.

Without allowing him any words, the blonde reached between them, to his length, guiding it to her opening. Even though her body was still coming down, it yearned to be filled by him.

Emma could feel the all too familiar pull deep in her belly as she relived the pleasures of the night before. But, finally opening her eyes, she realized she was alone. Throwing back the covers of the captain's bed, Emma stretched her exposed body once more before finding something to cover it. The sun was already high in the sky, as she looked through the large port window of the lower deck.

In their haste last night, clothes were thrown haphazardly around the small room. Finding a pair of under garments and a shirt that did not belong to her, Emma didn't give her appearance a second thought.

As she made her away upstairs, the sun warmed her instantly. Squinting her eyes to adjust to the sudden influx of light, Emma looked around. They were surrounded by turquoise water as far as her eyes could see. To be honest, it didn't look much different than yesterday…or the day before, but Emma would never grow tired of this view.

Returning her eyes to the deck, Emma looked past the mast towards the wheel. And there he was, in nothing but dripping board shorts and a goofy smile. His dark hair was hanging in his eyes as he had clearly jumped into the clear water. It was longer now as they had been on the water for what seemed like forever, but Emma thought it suited him; made him look like the pirate he really was.

"Good morning love." She felt his eyes roam down her body as they shone just as bright as the water surrounding them. Again, she felt that tug in her core. How could he still do that to her with just a look?

Finally making her way to the wheel, Emma reached out to embrace Killian, taking advantage of his undress. His hands were quick to make their way under her shirt, well, his shirt. The pads of his fingers grazed the sides of her breasts as they traveled up and down her tired body.

"At least let me eat something first, I need to regain some strength."

Chuckling at her suggestive comment Killian replied, "I love where your head is at love but before that, do you know what day it is?"

"Um, Tuesday?" It had been days since they set sail from Florida and Emma had lost all track of days and dates.

The old Emma would have never left her post for this long, but it seemed only fair after Robin and Regina's three-week honeymoon.

"It's June 1st." Killian removed his hands from Emma's torso and held her hands in his.

"Oh yes, of course." Emma replied sarcastically as if she was supposed to know what that meant.

"On this day, 365 days ago, I met the most beautiful blonde I had ever seen."

Emma's eyes softened at the genuine adoration Killian was looking at her with.

He continued, "You walked into my life when I least expected it but when I most needed it. You are what I was looking for all along Emma, you are my happy ending." Tears pricked the back of Emma's eyes as she felt Killian place a piece of paper in her hands.

Looking down, it was a small weathered piece that looked like it had been ripped from a book. With shaky hands, Emma unfolded the paper and read the typed words,

"I feel like a part of my soul has loved you since the beginning of everything. Maybe we're from the same star."

When Emma looked back up from the paper, Killian was kneeling in front of her with a small box in his hand. Emma's chest exploded at the scene and her breath audibly caught in her throat.

"Emma Nolan, will you make me the happiest man in all the seas? Will you marry me?"

OK! NOW its officially over! I hope that satisfied some of you after my previous "last chapter". Thanks for reading!
