Birdo glanced back as she faced the young mushroom cadette. "It better be good Toadette, because there are scratches on this bike that will take weeks to get rid of."

Suddenly the two pink girls landed in a freefall as they crashed into the ground, with the Dolphin Dasher bike getting totaled as they groaned in unison. When they got up, Birdo and Toadette were shocked to see Dry Bowser being surrounded by a bunch of Bone Piranha Plants, who were all laughing at him.
"Took you long enough," Dry Bowser grumbled as he was constrained by the gray vines of the bone themed plants, who were snipping his own bones out of his skeletal body as the reptile was not pleased with this result.
"Oh DB! They better not have done anything to you!" Toadette shouted as she put her fists up.
Birdo adjusted her red bow as she shook her head. "Now hold on, we can handle this in a peaceful manner-"
"Forget that! Let's bite their butts!" A Bone Piranha Plant shouted as the others chomped in agreement, proceeding to surround the girls and bite at them.
Dry Bowser sighed as he shook his skull. "Why am I not surprised..."
