Ben had a little sword hanging on his hip as he ran through the halls of the Red Keep towards Tyrion's old chambers to retrieve books. He pushed the door open and ran to the desk, sitting down in the chair. He opened up a book with the title, "History of the Red Keep".

His eyes would constantly read over a sentence many times as he was trying to learn how to properly read. Satine had told him that he must be smart and good. Ben looked up from the large book as he heard the door open. He quickly ducked underneath the desk before looking around the corner of it. He saw Tywin and Cersei Lannister step inside with three kingsguard. His hand tightened around the small handle of his sword which he named, "Hellsfire".

"We know you're here," Tywin announced. "Everyone saw you."

Ben stood up, glaring at them. "Why do you keep following me?"

"Why are you here?"

"In the Keep or in this room?" Ben asked bluntly.

Tywin gave a nod to the kingsguards as they strode forward. Satine had been teaching him how to fight so Ben quickly stabbed their feet and then slice their arms when they tried to grab him. Although he was clumsy, Tywin and Cersei could see something powerful in the boy.

Ben backed away from them and went towards the secret passageway he found yesterday when he went exploring. He ran as fast as he could back to the chambers. He saw a swarm of guards running after him as he ran even faster away from them. He pushed some of the highborn ladies in front of them which caused quite a few of them to fall to the ground. Ben pushed a fat man to the ground, tripping them once again. Ben laughed and continued to run until he was came to a dead end on the third floor of the Keep.

"There is nowhere to run, Flea Bottom scum," one of the guards said, wheezing a little bit.

Without another thought, Ben saw a rope tied to a pillar and jumped off the ledge, swinging from one side of the floor to the other. He heard gasps come from below him as well as a scream of terror. The guards tried to lean over the ledges to try to catch him, their fingers scratching at his skin. Ben saw a cart of grass rolling below him and he let go of the rope. Luckily, he flopped down into the cart of grass in time or else he would've surely died.

Ben jumped off the cart and darted towards the stairs leading to Satine's chambers. A hand grabbed onto the back of his shirt and Ben fell backwards into their legs.

"You must be Ben of Flea Bottom," Jaime mused as he held onto the collar of Ben's shirt.

Ben growled lowly in his throat as he stared up at him. He didn't care that his neck was starting to hurt because of how tall Ser Jaime was compared to him.

"Lord Commander," the guard wheezed as the others tried to catch their breaths.

Ben smiled widely. "I was just trying to read. Can't I be smart?"

Jaime sighed heavily, glancing around the crowd that had stopped to watch them. "Why are you chasing the boy?"

"The little street rat shouldn't be here," the ugly guard snarled hatefully at them. Ben never understood why people didn't like him.

Only people from Flea Bottom like each other, but anyone else outside hated us. They treated us like the dirt beneath their shoes. Their shoes aren't that great anyways so I don't understand why they would think less of us.

"This boy is my sister's ward," Jaime announced to everyone, letting go of his collar. "You shall treat him as such."

"But my lord-"

"If he wanted your head then I would let him have it, you know that, right?" Jaime said to the ugly guard. "Right now he has more power than you."

Jaime guided Ben towards the stairway to Satine's chambers. Ben could feel a hundred eyes of hatred on his back, pointed towards him. He didn't look back as he always did to whoever was his enemy. He didn't give them his usual last glare as the last word in the conversation because he knew better.

No, he didn't actually.

Ben turned around and stuck his tongue out at everyone behind him, wiggling his fingers at them. The guards held back the wheezing guard and the ugly one as they tried to run at him with their swords. Jaime groaned in frustration as he looped his arm around Ben's waist and held him sideways, storming away.

"So you're a troublemaker?"

Ben shrugged. "I try not to be."

"Your language is better."

"She's been teaching me how to speak properly. Well, she's teaching me everything actually."

Jaime shook his head. "My sister shouldn't have brought you here."

Ben looked up at the golden haired knight. "Maybe. I would've died if she hadn't found me. They were going to cut my arm off."

"Oh, so you're a thief then," Jaime drawled out in realization.

Ben scoffed. "I'm not a thief. It was for one of the girls in a brothel. They didn't want her to eat."

"They were probably jealous of her," Jaime replied. "Wait, how old are you exactly?"

"Nine."

"What are you doing talking to whores then?"

Ben smiled and winked up at him, shocking Jaime as he saw much confidence in the boy. "Girls just like me."

Ben wiggled away from Jaime and the doors opened as Satine came walking out. She inspected Ben who had a little scratch on his cheek. "Causing trouble again?"

"I attract it. I can't help it."

Satine laughed. "I thought I said to be careful, Ben."

"I was," Ben said defensively. "Tywin Lannister and the Queen were chasing me for no reason. I was just reading."

Satine furrowed her eyebrows in confusion then looked to Jaime. "Do you know why Father was after him?"

"Don't know, except that he had every guard here chasing him all over the Keep-"

"Ben, did you use your sword," Oberyn asked as he interrupted came from the chambers. "Ser Jaime."

"I may have nicked a few," Ben responded as he looked between the two men.

Jaime's jaw hardened as he then inquired to his sister, "So you're entertaining men now, are you?"

Satine glared at him. "It's better than being led around by the cock by our sister."

Ben let out a laugh before he turned it into a cough. Oberyn quickly pulled Ben into Satine's chambers. "Hey! There is gonna be a fight!"

Oberyn smirked. "I was wrong about you."

Ben nodded. "I know."

Ben leaned towards the closed door and pressed his ear on the wood. "I can't hear you both! Speak louder! Did you hit him yet?!"

Oberyn managed to pull him away from the door and sat him down at the table. "None of your business."

"Why are you nice to me?" Ben questioned. "Are you trying to win favor with Satine? If so then that's smart."

Oberyn chuckled. "I care for her. I was unwelcoming towards her when she tried to share with me. This is something that she never does you see because she has a wall that is too high for any man to climb."

Ben rolled his eyes and stared at Oberyn. "And let me guess, you're gonna climb it? Can you even climb?"

"Of course I can," Oberyn scoffed.

"Just checking," Ben said with the raise of his arms in mock surrender.

"You remind me of my daughters," Oberyn began with a small smile. "They're strong women and like to challenge anyone that thinks otherwise."

Ben looked over to the door as it opened. Satine tried to keep her anger hidden, but was not doing so well as she went to the table. She poured herself a glass of wine and gulped it down after saying, "I really hate my family."

"Why do they want me gone?" Ben asked.

Satine sighed. "I don't know, but you will not leave my side until I find out."

"I can take them! Everyone saw," Ben protested loudly. The look on Satine's face was enough for Ben to end his argument for now. "I need to visit Tyrion then."

"Why?"

"I need to talk to someone as smart as I am."

Satine eyed the boy, saying, "You and my brother will be the best of friends."

Tywin did not look up from the pieces of parchment on his desk as Satine strode into the room. Cersei sat in one of the chairs in front of their father, smiling widely. Satine always thought about how she and Cersei were completely opposites of the arch other. Truthfully, Satine never knew if her sister actually cared for her. If she were judging by the scene of Joffrey's death and how she easily blamed both her and Tyrion then she would have to say that Cersei hated her as much as she hated Tyrion.

Satine had placed her hands on her hips as she inquired, "Why are you trying to capture Ben?"

"Who?" Cersei questioned with feigned innocence.

Satine growled, "Don't play with me, Cersei. You may find yourself filled with regret as to how you spoke to me."

"Father, why is she not on trial? She has much reason to murder my son as does Tyrion."

"You blind hag," Satine muttered. "He didn't murder your precious son, not that you would even care to look at the proof right in front of you."

"Tyrion said that there would come a day when I think that I am happy and safe, my joy would turn into ashes into my mouth then you'll know that the debt is repaid," Cersei told her, her eyes angry and her voice in despair. "How can you and Jaime just sit there and say he is innocent when Joffrey is dead? That little monster killed my son!"

Satine narrowed her eyes as she said calmly, "I don't see what this conversation has anything to do with Ben."

"He can't stay here," Tywin announced, his face blank. "He doesn't belong here. You know it and I know it."

"I don't care. He's staying. He has no one, father. Do you care that little about anyone?"

"I care about my family."

Satine scoffed. "You care about your legacy and you've always have. It's why Tyrion was stuck learning about the damn sewers so that you would never have to see him, you're pushing Jaime to marry a woman he can never love, you're forcing Cersei to marry another man who she will never love...it's those reasons why I left."

"Enough!" Her father yelled just as someone knocked on the door. Satine was surprised as Oberyn came in with Lannister guards behind him. They gave each other a look of confusion before turning back to Tywin. "Good, you're both here. I want him to hear this. I've arranged for a marriage between Satine and Loras Tyrell. It's about time you got married-"

"No," Satine interrupted in a deathly calm voice as she had a blank expression on her face. "I will never marry."

Cersei scoffed. "You will. You should be lucky that the Tyrells even agreed to this especially after your ruined reputation."

"You're one to talk, sister," Satine said coldly. "Father, I don't want to marry anyone."

Tywin kept his eyes on his daughter as he spoke, "You are my daughter. I can tell you who to marry and who not to marry, which man you are supposed to bed and that man is Loras Tyrell, heir to Highgarden. If you like I can always send you to the Boltons and let Roose Bolton decide what to do with you."

Satine raised an eyebrow at her as she stood still, her hand unconsciously going to the dagger under her skirt. "Go on then, Father. I'll kill every last one of them."

"Kill them," Tywin said in a flat voice as he lounged in his chair, challenging his daughter. "See who suffers because of your lack of obedience."

Satine gave out a mirthless chuckle. "Do you think I'm frightened of you? I have better things to do than that. How about three dragons across the Narrow Sea and the Targaryen girl? I hear that she's finally turned her head towards here. Do you think she'll show mercy, Father? I don't. If I marry then I will make sure that she has a clear passage to here, but if I don't then I will do everything in my power to stop her from getting the Iron Throne."

Of course Satine was lying, but her father and sister did not have to know of that just yet. She needed to worry about Ben and Tyrion right now. The two people her father wanted to get rid of by all means necessary.

"We should have locked you away years ago," Cersei seethed at her younger sister. "You've always been mad. Perhaps it's fate that Oberyn cares for you, sister for you both are mad."

Oberyn finally spoke in the conversation with an amused voice as he said, "I see that you don't like the relationship that I have with your daughter, Lord Tywin, but let me ask something of you if I may. I hear that the Tyrell boy enjoys other boys and so he will be unfaithful to your beloved daughter so do you think that this will stop us? I think it will encourage it. No matter, the only thing you are meant to get out of this is that Satine and I will always be together. You would have to kill one of us to end it all."

With those last words, Oberyn gave Satine a long passionate kiss on the lips before taking his leave just as Jaime walked in through the door with Ben. Oberyn winked at Ben and shook his hair with his hand as he passed by them.

"What has happened?" Jaime demanded.

Satine held Ben close to her as she inquired, "Why do you have Ben?"

Jaime sighed. "Found him in the cells. He was talking to Tyrion."

Cersei glared at Ben who resisted the urge to respond to her as he held into the skirts of Satine. "See, Father, he's a little menace."

"He is not a menace. He just likes to read is all," Satine shouted at her.

Cersei laughed. "He's a street rat is what he is. Tyrion killed my son and you stand there protecting him."

"I protect the innocent unlike the lot of you! He and Tyrion have no one because of my own family!"

"We aren't running an orphanage," Tywin said coldly. "We are Lannisters. The Flea Bottom boy is nothing."

"I will never be nothing," Ben said in outrage, his hands curling into tiny fists as he shoved hins lf away from Satine and stood in front of Tywin Lannister. If only the people of Flea Bottom could see him now, talking back to the most powerful man in Westeros. "I am not nothing. Neither are those people down there who you call scum and rats. It is us who fight in your wars, it is us who make grain, silks, and food for you to eat. We do so much more than any of you will ever do. If we wanted, we can easily cause a mob and destroy every last one of you because we are greater in size and we have the heart to do so. I know the people, do you, my lord?"

Tywin inspected the boy with his eyes as he replied, "Maybe you're not nothing after all, Bennard from Flea Bottom. I see that you are getting better."

"You should have to thank Satine for that," Ben responded with no hint of a smile on his face.

"Ben is staying and I'm not wed to Loras Tyrell nor will I ever," Satine said pointedly. "I will leave by own, father."

Ben and Satine strode out of the room together, both feeling all pairs of eyes scratching at their backs fiercely. Tywin turned to Jaime, questioning, "What do you know of the boy?"

"He admires Tyrion amongst other things. He's a clever little thing. She's teaching him how to fight and judging by the sight he was in the courtyard today, he's a fast learner."

"What will the people say? A Lannister whores herself to the viper and houses a street rat. They will say that we are growing soft-they will mock us because of Satine and Tyrion," Cersei sneered.

"When exactly have we ever cared of what others say about us?" Jaime countered. "And is this I hear about a betrothal between her and the Knight of Flowers? I thought that Cersei was going to marry him not Satine."

Tywin held his hands in front of him as he responded, "Satine needs to be reigned in. She must learn obedience. She ran away the first time, but not this time especially with Oberyn and the boy still here."

"Is that why you had him here? To taunt them both?" Jaime inquired curiously. "What was the point of it all? You've only made them angrier."

Tywin stood up and crossed over to the window, looking out into the distance where the Targaryen girl laid in wait. "Know only that Satine is important. Even Prince Doran Martell knows this which was why he sent Oberyn here instead most likely. He wants a marriage between the two and your sister is my heir to Casterly Rock since both of my sons are incapable of being so. The Martells will have the Westerlands in the palm of their hands now even more so if she were to bare a son. Keep them apart. Do must be done, no matter the cost. Do it for the sake of our family and our legacy as Lannisters."

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! Yes, I know the term "Street Rat" is from Aladdin, but honestly, I wanted Cersei to give Ben a name that sounded so disgusting, hurtful, and like he was lower than anyone and I tried to use Flea Bottom Scum, but Street Rat did the trick. It reminded me of whenever they call Jaime a kingslayer, Brienne has Brienne the Beauty, Arya's Horseface, Tyrion being an Imp or even Jon being a Bastard. I want it to affect him and others around him.

There will be a scene with Satine's son and Dany sometime soon, just trying to put it together because her son is polite, but in a cold way kind of like Lady Lyanna Mormont so I gotta out together that personality. Ben and Tyrion will have scenes as well as a steamy one between Satine and Oberyn. I hoped you guys liked this chapter.
