Tsk. I go to review and make a new chapter only to find, that my last chapter was only half finished. I didn't even realize it! In any case. I am updating the chapter and working on a new one Immediately. So I do apologize to everyone out there and I will get my butt in gear.

"He has not come out of his room for awhile now. Do you think we went a little too far?" Rouge asks as she sips some tea.

"Faker got himself into this mess. He'll come out sooner or later. It's been amusing watching him squirm" The black hedgehog replies as he leans back in the chair."

The two sat in black iron, vine style café chairs with a green marble top table between them. Shadow and Rouge were at their usual spot at the Emerald Café. The café is built with old white stones with long horizontal oval styled windows set along the sides, small half moon step which leads up to the wooden door with an arched window in the center. The table sets were placed evenly apart upon the multicolored cobblestone patio that stretched from the building to the sidewalk only to be fenced off with spider web black iron fencing. Redwood pergola stretched over the patio, while vines of English Ivy cascaded from above. Pink climbing roses weaved in and out along the fence to finish the scenery of the café.

Rouge arches a brow. "While that is all good fun, aren't you worried about causing problems for yourself later? After all, you do like him yourself do you not?"

Shadow sits up slightly and drinks his green tea. "Sonic always has had a good sense of humor; He will forgive me once he gets me back. Besides I never said I "liked him" I merely enjoy his company."

"So you don't mind if someone else snatches him away?" Rouge smiles from behind her tea cup as she watches Shadow.

"Why should I care if someone else wants to go after him?" Shadow speaks smoothly but his fingers tap against the table in slight irritation indicating he is not as okay with it as he says.

"That's good to know, Lord Yagyu has taken quite a liking to him, especially after that date. Perhaps they should start dating."

"If he ever comes out of his room again, perhaps the bat traumatized Sonic. Someone should check on him again this afternoon. He has another part to play with Mephilles the Dark." Shadow takes another sip. "So Did Yagyu ever say what happened?"

Rouge smiles. "I thought you didn't care, but no, he has not said a word. He just looks pleased with himself. So apparently something happened."

Shadow grunts softly. "Perhaps I'll bring Sonic here to relax. It's been fun watching him, but even he needs a break now and again. What about you? Thought of bringing Knuckles here?"

"That dimwit wouldn't appreciate this place if it gave him free food. No I think, I'll take him to a part or garden. That should distress him some….At least until I start up again. Seeing him with you has been absolutely thrilling, I'll have to make it a point to see him get into more roles like the one we have been working on." Rouge takes a bite of her cake and smiles. "This place is absolutely delightful. I really enjoy coming here"

"So you want Knuckles to be around more men?"

Rouge chuckles. "The thing I enjoy about the workplace is that one does not know what team the other is playing for."

"Except for a certain annoyance" Shadow mutters.

"You mean Amy?" Sitting up straighter in her chair, she looks at Shadow curiously. "What's up?"

"The usual, only it's gotten worse. I had to step in because I was tired of it"

Rouge pauses. "Well I have an idea, what if we gave Amy a taste of her own medicine?" Before taking another bite of cake as she looks thoughtful.

Shadow furrows his brow. "How would you find anyone to follow that plan? Besides Sonic has made it quite plain about her age, I doubt she will be put in any roles that would have such a situation."

"It does not have to be a scene. I can do it well enough myself. I can be VERY convincing. "The bat smiles to herself. "In any case you are correct it is getting out of control. The girl has no self restraint. I heard about the door incident as well as the complaints to the Director. Amy is only caring for herself and not what happens to the rest of us. Putting stress on the Director affects all of us. So I will do something about it."

Shadow hmphs. "Well good luck to you on it. I think I am going to check on Sonic. See if he is ready to come out of his room." He gets out of his chair and places his money on the table.

Rouge nods. "See you later and good luck"

Shadow smirks. "I never needed luck" He walks away from the table and out onto the sidewalk as he heads back towards the studio. People don't know what team the actors play for? Nonsense, I know Sonics Team, and I am going to enjoy playing the game. Thinking to himself and smiling as he returns to the studio. His destination clear in his mind as well is what he plans.

Back in Sonics room, the blue blur is still trying to come to terms with his experience during the massage by the Yagyu Lord.

"So you really don't know what to feel about the situation?" A high pitched but soft spoken voice asks.

Sonic shakes his head and sighs. "Did the massage, it felt pretty good but… I don't know I felt a little out of my comfort zone."

"Have you spoken to anyone about it?"

"I am talking to you aren't I?" Grinning at the young fox.

Tails chuckles and nods. "So I want to ask. Do you… even like guys like that?"

Sonic lets out a breath of air slowly and leans back. "I dunno. I get all these parts for male pairings and I never once batted an eye at it. It was just a part, a play, a character that isn't me."

"But you teased Knuckles about things like that all the time. "

Sonic flumps his head back in thought as he stares at the ceiling. "With Chuckles, it is all fun and games. Heh, He has some of the best reactions it hard not to mess with him. Even then I got the same kind of banter from Shadow and it never bothered me before. This all started after Amy busted down my door. Shadow I guess had enough of her whining and decided to take her down a notch. I wasn't prepared and I been stuck like this since."

Tails contemplates what Sonic tells him before speaking. "Perhaps it's because you're guard was down. You usually relax in your room and Shadow took advantage of that in a spur of the moment. Maybe you should just try and pretend you are in another role when you leave. They have been at it for a while since well you seem to be responding a lot like Knuckles does."

The hedgehog sighs. "Maybe you're right, but still I just don't know. I want to go back without ending up like Knuckles. Heck, I can't even tease him as well like I used to because of this."

"I think, you should just try and fall back into your old routine, play another part for a while and pick a new place to relax at least until you sort this all out."

Sonic thinks about it for a moment and then grins. He reaches over and ruffles the head of his "little brother". "This is why you are the smart one, problem is where could I relax if not my own room? But hmm another role, that actually could be fun." he snaps his fingers with a huge smile on his face. "Got it! I'll play as good as they give! Thanks Tails!"

The fox grins and moves his hair back in place with his hands. "I'll leave you to your work then. If I can think of a place, I'll let you know. See ya Sonic!" Getting up from the couch and moving towards the door. Upon opening it, he turns and gives a final wave before he exits the room.

Sonic gets up as well and walks over to the mirror to look at his reflection. He inhales and takes in the mindset he has while on stage. "Looking good as usual. Just think, all those people wanting a piece of this. Can't let them get disappointed by playing the shy and meek Sonic. I'll have to give them the one that will blow their minds." He grins and walks back over to the couch after his own little personal pep talk and turns on his gaming console and starts relaxing. "Yeah just get into the mood and relax."

A knocking at the door catches Sonics attention briefly. "Doors open!" He calls out as he focuses on the game, a determined look on his face as he moves the controller about.

Shadow opens the door and pauses for a moment upon seeing Sonic looking as his usual self before walking inside. "I see you are feeling fine"

Sonic grunts as he sticks his tongue out to the side in concentration as he continues gaming. "Of course, why would you think other wise... GAH NO! That's a cheap shot! Come on!" Yelling at the game as he grunts and drops the controller in exasperation. He looks over at Shadow for a moment. "So what's up?"

Shadow blinks. "Well I thought, with you having been in your room for some time now. Perhaps you might like to go out for a bite to eat."

Sonic perks up. "Oh?"

Shadow nods. "There is a café nearby that is decent enough. Would you like to go?"

Sonic grins and nods. "I would love to! I'm starved anyway. Who would have thought all the time could pass. I didn't even realize I was hungry until you mentioned it!" Hopping up from the couch and walking over to the black hedgehog. "Well what are we waiting for. Not getting slow in your old age are you?"

"I am not getting old! But you don't know where the place is. So you will have to walk." Shadow grunting his reply.

"Fiiiiiine, But let's get a move on at least." Eagerly waiting for Shadow to start moving and follows once his counterpart leaves.

Along the way Shadow occasionally steals glances at Sonic while trying to figure out the abrupt change. "Are you sure you are feeling alright?"

Sonic walks with his hands behind his head and turns his head towards Shadow. "Yep! Why do you keep asking?"

"Well you did lock yourself in your room for several days after the incident with Yagyu."

Sonic chuckles. "Oh that, the massage was pretty great. Had a surprise here and there but it was pretty amazing."

"Surprise?" Shadow inquires.

Sonic grins and turns his head back to watch the path before them. "yep, Sorry, I won't tell ya what happened. It's not nice to kiss and tell after all."

Shadow goes silent for a moment. What happened in that room? I thought Sonic would be too flustered to do anything. He was locked up in his room for a few days and now he is perfectly fine with everything.

"So Shads, this is like a date or somethin?"

Shadow was shocked out of his thoughts as he stares at Sonic, surprised to even hear that from the azure hedgehog. "Ah… No... It is just a place I thought you might like to relax. Ah here it is now." He notices that Rouge is no longer at the table they were in previously.

Sonic whistles softly. "This place isn't bad. It's nice and shady; the roses are a nice touch." He takes a seat in such a way that the roses trail up behind him.

Taking the seat from the opposite side of the table, Shadow glances at the display before him. Despite the casual style Sonic wears. There is a sense of allure. Granted he toyed with the idea once or twice, but never really knew Sonics reactions to such things. He thought he finally started to get somewhere when suddenly there seems like this roadblock ahead of him. Sonic is being Sonic, without actually being himself. He picks up a menu and glances at it. He knew the items by heart, perhaps a suggestion might help smooth things out for now or at least give him a chance to analyze the situation.

Sonic just smiles and glances at the menu as well. He could keep this up; he could play the role of a play boy and everything being fine. Yagyu would be interesting to deal with; Knuckles would be extremely fun to toy with, while Shadow would be the difficult one. Not only does he worry about that side, but there is also the new script that he has to go over. One with Mephiles, he just only got the plot and it looks interesting but at the same time it places him in an awkward situation. It's like he would be playing a part, within a part, in the scenes. But for now, he has this "date" with Shadow and he is going to enjoy it while he can.
