Hey everyone, I want to apologize for such a drastic delay in updating. Alot of stuff have been going on and I just haven't had the mindset. I have no given up on this and it is continuing! here is an update to help me get back into the swing of things! Hope you enjoy it and thank you for your patience!

"He's the one I want." A cold voice says from the shadows.

"This one?" The bleached white echidna looks over at the man behind the bars. "Why do you want him? There is not much out of the ordinary about him"

Finivious nods. "Very well, I give this one to you and you will help me with my experiments?"

"Just as I said I would." The shadows reply.

Sonic slowly wakes from the sounds outside his cell and lifts his head to look to see who the voices belong to.

"Ah he awakens" Well No. 341. It looks like you will be having a transfer.

Sonic blinks confused and slowly gets up and walks over to the bars. "Transfer? But wait I thought I was to stay here until my time was up."

Finivious just smiles slowly. "That would have been the case. But, you have been sold, so to speak"

"Sold!? Wait, but you can't do that!"

Finivous waves a hand. "But it is already done. Come meet your new owner."

The shadows seem to move as a figure steps forwards, revealing a creature that looks similar to a hedgehog but dark, the eyes sharp and cold, though half of the expression is unreadable for there is no mouth.

Sonic recoils and steps back. "It... It looks like a demon!"

Finivious chuckles. "A demon? Some just call him a Djinn. Either way I don't really care. He has what I want, and now I have given him what he wants."

The blue hedgehog tries to back away further but the small confines of his cell leaves him with little room. The creatures form darkens and melds with the shadows, slipping past the bars easily and more towards the frightened hedgehog.

"S-stay back!" Bracing himself against the wall he tries to make himself as flat as he can as the creature moves towards him.

The creature places a hand under Sonics chin and turns the blue ones chin towards him, forcing their eyes to meet. The cold hard gaze watching before it moves closer. Suddenly the shadows which rise like flames rise from the creature's body and snap around the waist of the speedster.

Struggling and trying to pull the shadows tendrils off of him but unable to, Sonic lets out a yelp as he is yanked forwards. His screams silenced as the shadows ensnare his body and pull them into the dark abyss that is the creature before him.

"You are afraid now, but you won't before long. My name is Mephilles the Dark. Now you are mine." Swallowing the entirety of the blue hedgehog into his being, he waits feeling the other struggling inside.

"That was a fascinating procedure to watch. Is he still alive?" Finivous says as he watches the other.

Mephilles turns his gaze towards the other before facing him. "What does that matter? I have what I wanted, soon you will have yours."

Sonic has long passed struggling, he cold, uncertain, and lost in a sea of darkness. What happened to him? Who was that creature? Is he dead?

"You are quite alive young one."

The voice resonates from the darkness, Sonic looks up and about uncertain. "Who's there?!"

"I have told you my name, you will know me in time."

The blue hedgehog shivers and tries to find the source of the voice speaking to him.

"Where are you? Where am I?"

"I am everywhere, you are inside me."

Sonic recoils as he sees the demon forming in front of him, but he can't move. His ability to move his limbs have not changed, but no matter how much he runs, his location doesn't change. He shivers as the demon moves closer to him. Flinching as a hand moves up to stroke his face.

"You are afraid, but you won't be. I shall not harm you young one." Stroking the peach face slowly. He pulls Sonic into a strong, cold, but gentle hug. But his eyes never losing their cold sharpness.

"Wh...what do you want with me?" Uncertain as to the mix of emotions he is feeling, his thoughts scattered. This creature is trying to soothe him? But it's cold and dark, and those eyes, he feels no warmth from them, no kindness. The demon seems to send mixed messages, one with its actions another with its gaze.

"You have nothing to fear from me my precious young one. I would not let anything or one harm you" The cool voice responding, but with true affection, or of false as if talking about a prized item?

"B-but why?"

"Because you are important to me, but to give you an answer you will understand and accept for now. You are container, I shall fill you just as you fill me now. We will never be apart, you and I will be forever entwined."

"And CUT!" The Director shouts. "Alright that's good, everyone take a break while we get things setup for the next scene!"

"Alright Mephiles you can get off now." Sonic says from the inside the being.

The dark one just stands there.

"Mephiles, come on. Its break time!"

"I like you were you are Sonic. All wrapped up and nowhere to go. Besides you will just be back once the break is over" Chuckling as the blue hedgehog starts to struggle.

"Hey! I want my break!" Grabbing up at his shoulders and grunting as he forces his head to pop out of Mephiles shoulders next to the Dark one's own.

Mephiles chuckles at this. "You may have it, I am just staying as I am"

Sonic rolls his eyes and still wearing Mephiles like a costume he walks over and gets a drink and sits down. "Ya know, I think you are enjoying this part a little too…"

"SONIC!" A high pitch voice scratches through the room as the pink hedgehog runs towards him. "Oh Sonic you are finally out of your room. How are….. you?" Taking a good look at the two headed monstrosity before her. "AHHH Sonic what happened to you!"

Sonic wiggles Mephilles finger in his ear from the screeching. "Hey Amy, I am playing a part. Mephiles is my partner in this."

Amy relaxes slightly and looks at him. "But its break time, why are you like this?"

Mephiles just stares at the female he turns his thoughts to the Azure male. "How is it that you can tolerate such an annoying creature?"

Sonic chuckles. "Because Mephiles is playing around, don't worry about it Ames." He turns his head to face his "twins" head. "Amy isn't that bad, she is just enthusiastic."

Amy grunts "Hey! What did he say about me!?"

Sonic holds up Mephiles arms to wave her off. "Chill Ames it wasn't anything bad. He just didn't like you yelling out like that in here, the acoustics remember? So… what did you want?" Worried about what it might be.

"Oh, well that's okay then. Sorry for yelling" She says it in a way where it's hard to tell if she is sincere or not. She perks up and hugs Sonic tightly. "I just wanted to thank you for the flowers! See I knew you didn't play for the other team!"

Mephiles raises a brow humorously. "Plays for the other team?"

"Hush you" Sonic mutters to his Dark attachment before looking at Amy in confusion. "Flowers? I didn't send you any flowers."

"Of course you did! There's no reason to be shy about it! I always knew you liked me! Oh this is great! I can't wait to tell everyone the news!" She says brightly and starts to go off into her own little world. "We can start dating, and then plan the wedding. I know you'll just love anything I decide, and then we can have lots of kids!"

The Azure hedgehog starts sweating and tries to stick his head back into Mephiles to hide if the dark creation would let him. "Amy seriously. I didn't send you any flowers!" Doing his best to convey his confusion in his voice, the more Amy went on, the more he thought about picking up the bat and running for the other team.

Amy sighs. "The lovely pink and red flowers you sent me this morning. They even had a kiss on the card!"

His brows furrow as he looks at Amy. "Um Amy, can I see that card?"

"Of course you can! See right here, To the Jewel of My Affections!" Handing the small white card over.

Both heads, Sonics and Mephiles look at the card before Mephiles starts shaking and Sonic just groans. "Amy…"

Amy grunts looking at the two. "What!? What's so funny!?" Demanding as she glares at Mephiles.

Mephiles just shakes before answering. "That card is from a woman!"

Glaring at them both. "That's a lie! There's no way it's from a woman!"

Sonic rubs the back of his head. "Amy the kiss is with lipstick, and you KNOW I don't wear any. Second there is perfume on the card. The wording is also not me. I didn't send this"

Crestfallen as she looks at her desire of affections which then turn to confusion as she looks at the card. "But… but… then who sent it? It's obviously a mistake! Everyone knows that I don't swing that way."

"I couldn't tell you Ames. But I gotta get back to work." Glancing back to the stage as people start heading back.

Amy shakes her head and grabs the arm attached to Sonic. "NO! You have to help me figure this out!"

"Unhand me!" Mephiles growls snatching his arm back!
Sonic sighs and looks at the girl. "Amy you said it was a mistake so just let it be. I really have to get back to work. It will be fine." Starting to head back to the stage.

Amy just stares. "But… but…. FINE!" She snaps. "I can handle this on my own!" Storming off in a huff.

Sonic sighs and just watches Amy for a moment before the dark form of Mephiles slides back over, cutting his view off.

"I believe your earlier assessment of her is unfounded. The nerve of grabbing me like that!"

Sonic mentally shakes his head. "She just doesn't think before she acts at times. But anyway just let it go."

Mephiles nods "Very well, then how about we switch topics. Say about that remark of you playing for the other team?" His thoughts full of humor.

Sonic would spit if he could and he just mentally shakes his head before realizing Mephiles could sense that. "Oh that, it's not something I want to think about. I have no problem with it. Just Amy reacts pretty badly, and that is a bad memory"

Mephiles chuckles "I still look forward to prying the information out of you"

"Look, can't we just get back to work? I mean the director is already coming back" Sonic grunts.

"very well, but afterwards I plan to have some fun"
