Hey everyone! I first want to apologize for taking so freaking long to update the story. It's been well extreemly stressful for over a year. Moving, Job hunting, Stressful Job, Family problems. The list goes on. But I am NOT letting this story die. I enjoy writing it too much. Things have calmed down and I should be putting the chapters up faster than well.. that one freak break. Anyway I hope you enjoy and thanks for your patience!

"So you are inviting me to the club to check on blue boy? I didn't know how much you cared" Rouge says with a smile on her lips.

"I never said I was checking on him! I just want to get the discussion over with and instead he goes out with Mephiles!" Growls the ebony hedgehog.

Rouge shakes her head and just chuckles. "So you say, admit it Shadow. You like Sonic, otherwise you wouldn't be so hot headed about this. Why not just tell him? You don't have to, this is far more amusing, but it would be easier."

"I never said I liked him, or that I am admitting anything! If you want amusement you can go elsewhere." Walking up to the entrance of the club. The words "The Bad Break" flash in blocky red text high above. Inside, remix upbeat techno blasts in the air. The space is darkened with lights of purple and red. Black lights illuminate the various aspects of the decor and clothing of the clubbers. "Tsh this place doesn't look too bad, perhaps I should frequent this place."

"Not bad?" the bat scoffs. "The place is dark and brooding. I think someone was high when they designed the place and the name? Not elegant at all. I could do a much better job." Glancing around the room before elbowing Shadow.

"What?" Shadow growls, glancing towards Rouge and upon following her gaze he sees the bright lit blue form of Sonic. His jaw nearly drops and he stares.

Sonic sits at a couch, wearing a black mesh shirt decorated with black roses and red trim which flows over his torso, sleek black pants with red stripes down the sides cling to his lean form. The blue hedgehog having a odd smile on his face but laughing as he relaxes with Mephiles and Yagu to one side of him while Scourge is on the other.

Scourge leans towards Sonic and grins. "Damn you look fine and I should know. Perhaps I should get some roles with ya like you been doing." Taking a drink of his beer.

Sonic shakes his head with a soft laugh. "I don't think that would work I am not that full of myself to be in a romantic relationship with someone identical to me, besides I thought you liked the ladies."

Scourge sneers slightly before trying to pull off smooth. "The ladies love me, but I have gotten requests to do roles like that, besides what's not to like, you and I look alike and I look good. Who better to have some fun with?" His fingers sliding across and slides along Sonics leg.

"Dude you are too drunk to be thinking like that." Sonic chuckles as he pushes Scourges hand off him. "Besides I'm here to relax, not get into trouble"

Mephiles chuckles. "This would qualify, you have three people giving you all sorts of attention. Though some more forward than others. Though I know what its like to have you inside."

Scourge snaps up straight. "Wait what? Blue you already got with Mephiles?! Why not with me then?"

Sonic grunts in response. "First of all I didn't get with anyone, second didn't you even see the script that we were in?"

"Tsh I was busy, so come on loosen up. I got wind of some kinda massage you had with Yagu and now you are all close and personal with Meph. So how about it?" Green leaning against blue with a inviting grin.

Shadow lost in the moment of the unexpected view from Sonic. "Damn, that's the second time today, first with the café and now here!"

Sonic rolls his eyes and takes a sip of his cocktail. "Sorry not interested, like I said, I am not into you like that Scourge."

"Tsh why not? I am a beast in bed! You want a massage? I can give you one that will blow your mind!" Green grunts.

Sonic sinks into his chair "Does everyone know about that? It wasn't sexual! It was just a massage! ... A really .. Really fantastic massage... Heh you should try it Scourge."

"Scourge, with as insistent as you are being, one would think perhaps you like more than just the ladies. Though Sonic is easy on the eyes, but you already know that." Yagu smiles as he takes a sip of his own drink. "I could give you a massage if you like."

Mephiles sits back and enjoys the banter. Honestly, he wonders how Scourge even gets people to be interested. The green hedgehog is not the most likeable of people. He turns his head towards the room for a moment and spots someone. "On the subject of non-people persons" "Hey Sonic, take a look whom showed up"

Sonic looks over and perks up. "Hey Shadow! Rouge! Over here!"

Her ears perk hearing the sound even from all the music and she turns to Shadow. "Well Shadow? Shall we join then?" Rouge smiles as she starts walking over.

The dark hedgehog snaps out of his thoughts and nods, walking with the bat and towards the group. Though as he gets there the view of Sonic is ... stunning. However, the sight of Mephiles still draping over Sonic, still heats his blood.

Sonic grins as he sees the two. "I didn't know you guys were going to be here! We could have all come together!"

Rouge chuckles. "Well, we had some things to do. But my, my, look at you big blue. You are quite the looker tonight. I didn't realize how well black and red looked on you."

The black hedgehog pauses and takes another look. Sure enough, the colors where black with red stripes. He lets a satisfied smirk adorn his face.

Sonic chuckles and rubs the back of his head. "I am not great when it comes to fashion, but I liked this outfit. It's a bit embarrassing wearing this but at the same time it's kinda fun!"

Mephiles leans against the booths back. "I thought he looked better when he was wearing me."

"Hey! That was for the scene. It was awkward when you on me like a rubber suit!"

Shadow brow twitches, he tries to burn holes into the demons head with his gaze. He moves and sits down across from the four. He can't bring himself to sit on the same seat as demon. That shadow copy of him just infuriates him to no end. At least he has Yagyu Lord between them. Still what is this scenario? That irritating blue hedgehog has three, THREE, others eyeing him. He pauses, why is this bothering him? He did the same thing to Amy earlier. He enjoys teasing Sonic so why is he... "Tch"

Rouge smiles to herself as she hears the sound. As much fun as it is to tease Shadow, sometimes she recognizes things the other won't. So far the entire situation is highly amusing. She glances to the door and smiles. "Sorry boys it seems my date just showed up"

"Date? You never told me you had a date."

"You didn't ask. Besides, She doesn't know it yet."

Shadow gaze moves to the entrance to see Amy looking around. "So that's what you are playing."

The female bat smiles. "Of course, it'll be fun. Ta ta boys." She leaves the group with her destination in mind keeping the smile on her face.

Shadow smirks as he would enjoy watching the plan but he has his own to enact. "Faker, I still want to go over those plays. I spoke with the director...

Scourge: Blah blah blah. You're boring Blacky, Sonic came here to have a good time. But since everyone is wanting to sit on their ass, I guess I'll liven up this party! Come on Blue!" Grabbing Sonic by the wrist and pulling him towards the stage.

"Hey wait! Hey!" The blue grunts as he is hauled onto the stage. Missing the highly annoyed sound his darker counterpart makes from the interruption... "Chill Scourge, what's the big deal?"

"Because I am bored and I thought this would be fun. I mean listen to that music!"

Sonic pauses and listens to the sound playing above the noise of the crowds. It's nice, catchy, yeah he does like this.

"See! You're already tapping your feet to it! SO come on and move!"

Sonic chuckles. "Alright. You got me. Sure." Letting the music fill him and he begins to move to the beat.

Scourge sharp tooth grin appears as he begins dancing along with his blue double.

Meanwhile Amy just looks around feeling lost.

Rouge calls out and walks up. "Amy! What are you doing here? I didn't think this was your kinda place."

Amy blinks and looks around before seeing the white bat and walks over. "Oh hi Rouge. I was just... well, I was looking for Sonic. I heard he had gone to this club and I can't believe he didn't ask me!

"So you came to find him."

"Well of course! Now that I am here, I just need to find him and we will have all sorts of fun. We can even go dancing!" The pink hedgehog exclaims excitedly. "Though perhaps some where different. This doesn't feel like the kind of place Sonic would like." frowning as the music shifts to a different song.

Rouge chuckles. "I wouldn't say that hon. Just look over there" Pointing over to the stage.

"What? What are you talking about...?" Trailing off as she sees Sonic and Scourge dancing together.

The two hedgehogs are dancing perfectly to the music, their timing perfect and flowing with each other. Amy stares the words of the song ringing clear in her ears. Scourges moves far more suggestive and Sonic... is ... is just moving with him?! "What...What is he doing there?!" Snapping out. "Sonic... he. What the Hell is he doing?!"

Rouge looks over with a knowing smile. "It looks like he is having fun."

The female hedgehog glares at the scene. "Oh is he? He doesn't even like Scourge! I am going to get to the bottom of this myself!" Starting to march towards the dance floor before a white glove catches her arm.

"Hold on Amy."

"What?!" Snaps the pink girl.

"You are going to go up to that stage and interrupt the two? Really? Look how much fun Sonic is having. He really is having fun and relaxed. With how stressed he has been lately, you would ruin that?"

Amy face falls as she watches the bright smile on Sonics face. A smile she wanted to see be aimed at her. "No... but... it's ..."

" You need to let him be himself. Besides, instead of thinking of him all the time." pulling the pink female up against her own curvy body. "Why not think about me instead?"

At that Amys eyes go wide as she stares at the bat. "W-what? But .. What are you saying?"

"You liked the flowers I sent you earlier didn't you?"

Amys jaw drops and she pulls away. "Those were from you?! But.. You.. I.. I am not like that! Besides I thought you were interested in Knuckles!"

Rouge sighs and shakes her head. "That Knucklehead hasn't noticed a thing about me. He always gets flustered and embarrassed and we never get anywhere. It's been made perfect obvious that he isn't interested. Besides, I realized that I need someone with more passion like yourself. And you need someone whom will give you her full attention." Smiling as she looks into Amys wide eyes.

Amy backs up abit. "I er... I think I should be going. I um have... things I need to do."

"Aww but you just got here. How about a drink? I know how mature you are. I am sure you can handle it."

"Ah no no. I really shouldn't! I .. I have to go prepare for my role tomorrow! They dropped the script off before I came here! I really should go look at it!"

Rouge pouts softly before perking up as she gets an idea. "Well then I can walk you home! After all we can't let you wander all alone after you came here for some company.

Amy shakes her head. "Ah! No! That's.. that's alright I will be fine! Um bye!" Quickly retreating from Rouge and right out the doors. Her original plan completely forgotten. Her thoughts confused, even embarrassed. What is going on? Why did Rouge say all that? Did she really? What about Sonic. He looked so happy, so at ease, with someone he doesn't even like! Could be really be... No! Tonight is just a bad night. Get home and rest and everything will be fine.

Rouge shakes her head and chuckles before heading back to the others. As she returns, she notices Shadow glancing to the dance floor ever so often. "So..." Taking a seat next to her brooding partner in crime. "You're little game is not going the way you thought it would be."

Shadow grunts and glances towards her. "My game is going along fine. Besides, what good is a game unless there is a challenge." Giving the bat a slight smirk. "I am sure things will go as I want them too. After all, it got this far. He is having fun now. We will see how long that plays out."

Purple eyes take a sly look. Rouge is not the only bat with excellent hearing. Yagyu takes a sip of his drink. So this is a game hmm? With Sonic as the winning piece? Mephiles, Shadow, and Rouge, It looks like a fun game. But, it is far better a game when there is a player who desires to win.
