Wow, I have been gone quite a while and I do apologize for that! Lot's of things have been going on but I never forgot about the story or gave up on it. I will continue it until it is done. I am sorry for those that have waited but I hope that you will still continue reading and enjoy.

Sonic grunts softly as the sun hits his eyes. He groans and pulls the covers over his head to protect him from the bright light. Normally it wouldn't bother him too much except he stayed up a little too late last night. Despite protecting his eyes, the light of the morning is not so easily deflected. He grunts and shifts slightly before his hand comes into contact with something odd. "What... is..?" sliding his hand along the object in question before grabbing it and his brain makes a connection. He snaps his eyes open and looks to see Scourge up against him in bed. AHH! What's he doing here?! Attempting to get up only to find something pinning him down. He furrows his brow and looks downwards to see a black arm wrapped around his chest. Following the arm, he notices that it is indeed Shadow.
"I see you are finally awake."
Sonic blinks and looks around for whom spoke. Both of them seemed to still be asleep. So whom is talking to him? He notices that his blanket is the wrong color... Usually what was a bright green is a dark shadowy...
"Mephilles?!" He gapes as he is not just in the bed with one person, but three! All of them in the bed against him. Not only that but ONE of them apparently is pretending to be his blanket!
"What the hell!? What are you all doing in my bed?!" Demanding quietly as he does not want to wake the others until he knows what's going on.
The blanket just forms into a familiar shape, laying on top of the azure body. "Perhaps you should move your hand before I answer."
"Move my hand?" Before remembering where it is. His eyes go wide and he jerks his hand away from the green hedgehog as if bitten only to hear a clicking sound.
"My my, this shall go into my photo album." Rouge smiles from the door while holding her phone."
His face twists in horror as he hears the bat. "What ... happened last night?!"
Rouge chuckles. "Well we were done with the club scene but still wanted to hang out, so here we are."
Sonic grunts. "That doesn't explain why everyone is sprawled on my bed like a bunch of cats."
Scourge is the first to start waking up, he grumbles. "Ugh, not so loud.. I gotta hangover!" Rubbing his head before leaning against Sonic.
Mephilles just has an amused look in his eyes.
Shortly after, the other hedgehog awakens. His eyes narrow and his face full of grump.
Sonic sweat drops and would inch away but he is surrounded and pinned currently. "So... you were saying?"
The white bat smiles. "One moment hun." Retreating from the room for a few moment and returns with some cups of coffee, and an orange juice. Shadow takes a coffee from the bat while Sonic takes the orange juice who gulps it down to try to help wake his brain up.
"In any case. You wanted to sleep and just asked us to lock up on our way out." Rouge continues. "But Scourge here had other ideas."
The green hedgehog grabs the last coffee and takes a gulp. "Hey, I just wanted to see Blue."
"So Shadow gets up at that point to keep an eye on Scourge only to find him on the bed with you. After that, it just kept going. Soon there was an adorable bed full of hedgehogs."
Sonic sighs and shakes his head. "How much did we all drink last night?"
Rouge chuckles. "The heaviest drinker was Scourge. Shadow didn't have anything, you just had enough to get sleepy. Yagyu was the second heaviest but he went home. And Mephilles..."
"Alcohol has no effect on me. I joined because it seemed amusing at the time" The Demonic entity speaks up.
Scourge sets his cup on the nightstand and slides out of the bed, with not a single article of clothing on his body and walks out of the room. Sonic doesn't even want to think about where his hand had been.
Rouge's brow raises seeing Scourge before looking at Sonic with a sly smile. "So... is he really your twin in every aspect?"
Sonic turns a shade of purple. "That's none of your business!"
The bat's lip pouts. "It was just a question. After all, Yagyu has seen everything. So, perhaps I should ask him."
"I could also tell you." The demon speaks up.
Rouge brightens up. "That's right you were paired up with Sonic earlier. So that means the only ones who don't know would be me and ... " Her eyes glancing over to Shadow"
Shadows eyes just narrow. "Why would I even care?"
"You're no fun. I suppose I..."
"Garrlphm! Stop talking about things like that!" Sonic has traded his trademark blue coloration to a slightly purple one.
"Ugh, I said pipe down! You guys never had a hangover or something!?" Scourge demands as he returns. The green hedgehog not having the slightest problem with his full monty. "What the hell are you all talking about anyway?"
"If you and Sonic are the same everywhere."
Scourge pauses for a moment before getting back into the bed and taking another sip of his coffee. "I wouldn't mind finding out." He purrs. "But, I'd have to say I'm better in all areas. Isn't that right Blue?" Leaning against Sonic.
Sonic currently cannot decide whether or not he should mimic Silvers color, or perhaps go with Nack's purple. How did the conversation even go this way!? Oh.. Right. A mischievous bat and a naked green hedgehog. "Gotta think fast! How can I ... oh that will work!" Well, I could show people, but if we are gonna make a contest out of it then shouldn't we all participate? I mean since everyone's so curious."
Scourge grins. "Now that's what I am talking about! I didn't know ya had this side in ya Blue. I like it." Giving Sonic a sharp-toothed smile. "So I am already set up. So let's go!"
Shadow gives a sharp glare. "There is no way I am going to debase myself nor give into these childish antics of a hormone-driven color swap." Frowning at Sonic for even suggesting the idea.
Sonic just grins and shrugs a bit. This is how he planned it. He knew Shadow wouldn't even consider such an idea.
There is a bit of a snarl a moment later. "Color swap?! This just proves I am my own hedgehog!" Scourge glares back at the insult.
"You complained about being just the "Evil Sonic" So you went and pulled an Amy Rose so you could be different." "Oh, I could never be noticed by anyone unless I use a magical artifact to change me! Pathetic..."
"This comes from the emo who acts like an old fart, Ultimate Lifeform my ass. Can you even get it up, Grandpa? They got stuff to help with that, but ya know, it might give you a heart attack."
Sonic sighs, okay this isn't what he was hoping for. "Guys, come on, its early in the morning..."
Shadow smirks. "That's your insult? Trying to rile me up with age and capability? I knew you were one-tracked, but this? You aren't an actor, you're a slut, even so much as trying to get into your twins pants. Who's next? Manic? I don't think the phrase "incest is the best, put your family to the test" Is something you should be aiming for,"
Scourge growls. "Oh? "I" have family issues?" He snorts. "You? You have a hard-on for your dead sister. Maria, Maria, Oh Maria, I am too helpless to do anything without you! Please let me fuck over everything you cared about because I am an insecure bitch who can't deal with anything!"
"Hey that is going to f-" Sonic tries to cut in before he is cut off.
Shadow rises from the bed and glares at the green hedgehog. "You will not speak of Maria now or ever!"
The emerald hedgehog smirks. "Or what? Ya gonna fuck me like you wanna do Sonic? You wanna say I like incest? Hah, At least I ain't-a fucking pedo. Who next? Tails? Cream? The younger the better? Not gonna win you anything. Sonic doesn't like those that are into kids."
The air of the room changes. Shadow's gaze cold and murderous as he stares at Scourge. In a blink, he lunges at the green hedgehog and pins him to the wall. Scourge grunts and wriggles, grabbing the arm with one hand as he is held.
"If you keep it up, I will end you. I will break every bone in your body." Pressing against the other with great force.
Scourge grunts and slowly manages a grin. "You... can try.." Before he slams his coffee cup into the side of Shadows head causing the ebony hedgehog to yell and drop the green. Not willing to give Shadow an opening, he launches himself at the other with a swift kick to the chest.
The two begin fighting with Shadow on the defensive from Scourges assault! The green hedgehog not only unleashing a fury of kicks but using anything in the room he can grab onto as a weapon. Shadow grunts as he blocks and dodges the blows, countering with some of his own and they fight in the room.
Rouge winces. "Guys! Guys! WILL YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF!?" Finally throwing her hot coffee at the two.
"GAH FUCK THAT HOT! What the hell!?" The majority of the coffee having hit Scourge.
Shadow grunts and shoves the hedgehog off of him. Though looks like he is far from finished.
Rouge grunts. "IF you two would remember where the hell you are!"
Scourge growls. "Hey he started it I am just going to finish it!"
"I think you have other problems."
"Huh?" The green Hedgehog looks about to see what the bat is talking about. Shadow following his gaze over the broken lamp on the floor, the holes in the wall from where the quills struck. Torn articles of cloth. Only to notice the striking silence in the room. Sonic showing a deep seething quiet anger.
Shadow glances down for a bit and turns his head away.
Scourge rubs the back of his head and breaks out a weak grin. "Heh, sorry babe... Just got abit.."
"Get out." Blues voice restraining the anger inside of him.
"Aw come on. He started it!"
"I Started it?!" Shadow glares at Scourge. "Had you not acted like a dog in heat..." The life form starts.
"I SAID GET OUT! ALL OF YOU!" Sonic screams out. "The Hell?! I invite you into my home, you sneak into my bed, like its some kind of joke, then you start busting up my room later!? THIS? This is what I am supposed to just brush off?! Forget your excuses! Just get out! NOW!"
Scourge grunts but starts walking out the door with Shadow in tow. Rouge follows soon after. Entering the living room and watches the two hedgehogs walk out. She turns to Sonic for a moment as if to say something, but deciding against it. She walks out.
Sonic glares at the door as if just daring for one of them to try and come back to explain themselves. As the second's tick by, he turns his back and looks at his wrecked bedroom. He just wanted to have a fun night and it wrecks his bedroom. He leans against the door letting the anger drain out of him. He closes his eyes to avoid the mess before him.
"They didn't mean this you know"
Sonic snaps his eyes open ready to tear into whoever dared come back. He turns to see the shadowy form of Mephiles standing there.
"Before you say anything. You can calm down. That anger isn't just from this anyway"
He stares at the being for a moment, opening his mouth to respond. "What are you talking about?"
"I am referring to this act you have put up. The one where you are playing a role within a role."
Sonic stares for a moment. "What are you..."
Mephiles crosses his arms in the same way Shadow does. "You remember that when I am connected to you I can feel your thoughts. I know that you have been acting for days in an attempt to keep from being bothered by Shadows taunts."
Sonics clenches his teeth. That was supposed to stay private. He was stupid. He forgot about that aspect of the demon. "So what you gonna tell everyone now?"
"Don't be foolish. If I wanted to do that, I would have already done so. I have been enjoying the frustration Shadow has been experiencing. But you are stretching yourself thin. You have been keeping this up, nonstop and it's wearing you down. It's only a matter of time before it affects your work"
Sonics hand curl into fists. "Well, what am I supposed to do?! This all started because of Amy's stupid obsession! Everything was fine! Then Shadow pulls that stunt and everything goes to hell!"
"Why would his "stunt" do that? It's no different then what you do to Knuckles."
"It is different! It's all fun and games with Knuckles! He is easy to embarrass because he is shy! It wasn't him busting down my door or wrecking my room!"
"That is because Knuckles has someone he likes. Not that he would admit it. As you said, he is shy." Chuckling at the idea.
Sonic furrows his brow. "So? What does that have to do with anything? So Knuckles has a thing for Rouge. How does it make things different?"
Mephiles watches Sonic. "How do you feel? Or perhaps I should say, How do you feel when I am one with you?"
Sonic blinks at the question. "I don't know? It's not something I think about."
Mephiles smirks "You can't lie to me." In an instant, he touches the other and starts sliding over Sonics body.
Sonic yelp and grunts trying to pull the other off him. "Hey! What's the big idea!? This isn't funny!"
The shadowy form continues to move until he covers the other completely. Connecting them together like they have before. Feeling the struggles of the other. A futile attempt which he always finds amusing.
Sonic grunts, pulling and stretching at the other on him before he grumbles and crosses his arms. "Okay, so now what? Is there a point to this?" Grumbling loudly.
"How do you feel?"
"Annoyed! Why did you do this? I got enough going on as it is!"
"So why did you stop? If it bothers you so much why don't you keep trying to pull me off?"
"Because you are a stubborn ass who is a pain to pull off, like pulling tar out of your fur!"
"You didn't try very hard. You are sitting there pouting like a child. I think you like this."
"WHAT?! Why the hell do you say that!?"
"Because you are comfortable, you are angry and annoyed but not at me. Why is that?"
Shocked Sonic looks at himself. He feels over his arms as if he had never been through this merge before. Sure he is tense but ... he is... not as bad as he would have thought. "I... don't get it... Why...?" He stops as a realization hits him and he goes quiet for a moment.
"It seems you figured some of it out."
"Heh... this is nuts... You are saying, that THIS, is the reason I have been so twisted up inside? Why I can't handle the teasing and the jokes?"
"..."
He rubs his eyes as if there were tears starting to form. "You must be getting a great laugh out of this. God, I sound pathetic."
"Not so much, I get more fun tormenting Shadow. But now that you have an idea. What will you do?"
"I don't know" Sonic sais softly. "I... don't want to deal with this." Looking up at the ceiling and letting out a long deep sigh. "But I need to. I... just don't know how."
"You will, it takes a step at a time. You can always come to me if you need someone to talk to."
Sonic nods. "Thanks. I'll... see what I can do. Maybe, I will do some more scenes but I think I will stick to some of the new people."
"You're Welcome"
WHOO! Another done! Looks like Sonic has figured a few things out. Gotta see where this is going to go! Hopefully, I will not be the one that is the scapegoat. I do not wish to be skewered by hedgehog spines. They are quite sharp I assure you!
