Okay, so this was requested by Jinxie Jaymes! A one shot with Kai, when you both decide to go ice skating. Don't forget to vote! I'm still waiting...

-Kai-

Today was an average, normal winter day. You had your first hockey memento of the season and you were really pumped! During the first face off, you took defense and let nobody get past you. From where you were, you skated with the puck all the way to center and shot from there...GOAL! You made it!

*At the end*

"That was awesome!" Your teammate Skylar shouted to you.

"Nice goal!" Everyone was congratulating you. The score had been 2-0, with you guys in the lead.

"Hypnobrai! Hypnobrai! Hypnobrai!" Your other teammate chanted as you all joined in.

"This is going to be an awesome season for all of us! GOOO HYPONBRAI!" You cheered on.(Yes, the name of your team is the hypnobrai. You wandered off after you changed and got back into your clothes, then put your hair in a loose braid.

"Hey...nice game there Y/N." Another jock came up to you. He play for your school teams soccer team.

"Thanks Kai." You said walking to your locker to grab your homework.

"Hey, I was wondering, would you like to go out and get some ice cream maybe?" He asked with a hopeful glint in his eyes.

"You mean like a date? Hang out? Fun time? What? Also, isn't it a bit cold for ice cream?" You asked yourself at the end wondering why you were getting nervous.

"Uh..just hanging out. And come on! It'll be tasty in the cold winds." He stated calmly. Or as calmly as possible for a guy who has a major crush on the MVP Hockey player in school could be.

"Oh, sure! Just let me text my Mum." You answered bringing out your phone. "Okay...she said that I could go. So, how about (Favorite ice cream place)?"

"Sure! And don't worry about paying! I have some money here!" He quickly added.

"Um..thanks Kai," You smiled to him.

_KAI'S POV_

Okay, so I had just technically asked Y/N on a date, I've liked her since first grade, but she never noticed me. She was always the sweetest girl, until she moved away to the end of Ninjago. For high-school though, she came back! I really hope that I don't blow things with her. Also, the thing that makes her more attractive is that she grew out her hair, and plays a sport!

"Kai?KAI!?KKAAII!?" She screamed in my ear shaking me from my thoughts.

"What!?"I yelled back.

"You seem out of it...are you okay?"She asked cocking her head to the side.

"Yes, now lets go!" I smiled as we made our way out of the building. As we walked there, Y/N kept making all of these jokes that she had shared with her friends, and it was really nice talking to a normal person who doesn't mob you because you're a ninja and a soccer player. She seemed very calm. We soon made it there though and I can't believe how big of a thing she ordered! I mean I said that I'd pay for it, it doesn't even really cost that much, but she ordered a lot! How does she eat all this and not get fat?! So I ordered one scoop of (ice cream) and sat down next to here. I can't believe that I finally had the courage! Suddenly Y/N started looking around here.

"What is it Y/N?" I asked her.

"Somethings going on..."She trailed off getting up for her seat. "HA! FOUND YOU!"

"Y/N? Found who?" I asked still confused.

"My BFF's Cole and Zane." She said pointing at them. " Oh and I see Lloyd's gold suit behind that tree. (You're out side)

"GUYS! What are you doing here?! Where's Jay?" I asked them really mad.

"Jay? He is under your table..."Zane replied spacing off and looking at Y/N.

"My girl Zane!" I noticed.

"LLOYD! COME OUT!" Y/N called from the woods.

"Fine..." He mumbled. As soon as we found all of the boys, it was already around 6 P.M.

"Well, thank you for the fun time Kai! But I really must get home." Y/N said hurrying off.

"Bye..."I said quietly mesmerized by her.

_NEXT DAY-NORMAL POV_

The next day of school seemed to drag by, while your teacher was lecturing about colons, and where to place them. You were thinking 'Come on! We already know this stuff!'. Plus, it was a substitute teacher.

As soon as school was out, you rushed to put your skates on, and ran out to the rink.

"Freedom!" You shouted skating around. While you were skating, thoughts popped into your head. 'Maybe I should invite Kai''Why did he all of a sudden ask me out?' 'Maybe he likes me?' We've been in the same class until middle school.' 'I'm going to ask him to come with' You finished, but all these thoughts kept you distracted from where you were going, so you ended up crashing into a wall.

"Y/N! Are you okay? I came in here because I heard someone yell Freedom! and then I saw it was you so came in to watch what you were doing and, and I saw you fall, or crash I mean, and I really really like you, and I've liked you since grade 1." He rambled out not even realizing the last part the he said.

"Yes, I'm fine. Why were you watching me, and I like you too!" You answered.

"What?" He asked confused.

"You said that you really really liked me, and you've liked me since grade 1." You repeated back to him.

"Oh...I did." He said silently. "Um...w-will you be my g-girlfriend then?"

"Yes!" You shouted at once.

_NEXT DAY_WEEKEND DAY_

You both were just taking a walk around the park, you had brought a bag, since your were planning to ask Kai to go ice skating with you.

"So Kai...do you want to go ice skating with me?" You asked, now having a hopeful glint in your eyes.

"Um...sure!" He replied nervously because he doesn't to well with coldness since he is the ninja of fire, but why couldn't it be her/his friend Zane because he would be an excellent skater. Later on, you had bought the skates for Kai, and now had yours laced up, while he was still putting his on.

"Ready?" You asked excited.

"Almost...there! Lets go!" He stood up from the bench."Y/N? How did you manage to find such a private, beautiful pond here?"

"Well, my dad used to take me here all the time for fishing, swimming, skating, or just hanging out, but he-he died in a car crash..." You answered remembering that awful night.

"I'm sorry Y/N." He said apologetically.

"It's fine! Lets get skating though!" You said going onto the ice. You both seemed to be doing fine...except that Kai kept flailing his arms and couldn't keep his balance. "Here, let me help you Kai" You took his arm and started gliding in circles.

"Thanks Y/N" He smiled.

"Anytime." You replied. After hours of skating and talking, you both grew tired.

"I think that we should go back now. It's late, and dark." He said while you nodded in agreement. "But first, I have to do something." Suddenly, he leaned in closer to your face. You heart raced and you face heated up. "Your cute when you blush...ya know?" He said while getting closer, until you felt soft lips on yours. You knew what was coming, but it still shocked you.

"I love you." "I love you too." Both of you said.
