Okay...that last chapter was...pretty terrible...so I'm giving you this special little gift...of a much better chapter! . . . I hope. . .

My writing might be worse...I haven't been doing much in the way of writing and am out of practice...please forgive me...

Kai-(I used the first part of Egao no Mahou which is from Fairy Tail)

You quietly snuck through the forest as fast as you could. You were very light on your feet, so you could easily travel quiet. As you raced through the trees, something red caught your eyes. Quickly stopping, you jumped down to find a guy in a red ninja suit. You shook him, but no response, your conclusions: He's dead, doesn't want to move, or he's unconscious.

"Hello? Person in red?" You asked. No response still. So you just slung him over your back and jumped off with him. After you arrived to the pond, you set him down. Surrounding the pond, were willow trees with water drops that shimmered in the sunlight, and in the pond were lily pads with beautiful pink flowers. In one area, there was a doorway of vines that led to another place. The pond was your favorite place that only you knew about, except for your mother, she used to bring you here often. You never knew what happened to her since she went on a mission to destroy the serpentine, because she never came back. Suddenly, you saw the guy start to stir. He also took his mask off, and you guessed he was...16 years old?

"Um, Mr. are you okay?" You asked cautiously moving towards him.

"Uhnnn...wh-where am I?" He asked becoming more alert of his strange surroundings.

"Well sir! You are at a pond..." You gestured around you.

"Oh...I need to get back to my team!" He stood up quickly, the stumbled forwards.

"N-not so fast! Y-you're recovering from...an attack? But you aren't ready to leave!" You said in a concerned voice. 'Plus I wanna know you better.' You mumbled under your breath. You soon walked over to him and helped him over to a soft patch of moss. "Here, lie down." He did as he was told.

"So...what's your name? I'm Kai." The guy in red said.

"I'm y/n." You quietly replied, then hopped on a tree branch above him.

"Y/n...y/n..." He mumbled," that's pretty..." You blushed at this. You suddenly hopped down and started to head to a little house you and you mom had built behind some vines. "Hey where are you going?!" He shouted, but you did not answer. After going inside, you grabbed some bandages, then headed back out.

"Take your shirt, shoes, and sock off." You ordered.

"Wait what?!" He asked surprised.

"Just do it..." You glared at him, while he started taking them off quickly. You quickly examined him for any broken bones(also checking out how strong he looked;)), while patching up some scratches. Then saw that he had a broken wrist. Wrapping his wrist, you quietly started singing a tune.

"Ai mo yume mo kimi to naraba
MAJIKARU ni kawaru sa?
Egao no mahou o kakeyou"

"That's pretty...what's that from?" Kai asked.

"My mother used to sing it...that part means...well I think it means...'As long as love and dreams are with you, change it to something magical, Let's cast the magic of smile...something like that..." You told him trailing off thinking of the song.

After a long while of talking with Kai- he sometimes fell asleep in the middle of a sentence- you guys ate some food that you cooked, and then you led him to your little...cabin? cottage? Then you both fell asleep as soon as your lights were out.

_MORNING_

You were the first one to wake up, so you decided to prepare breakfast. While you were doing that, you had been thinking to yourself. 'He'll probably have to go back today...I really wish he could stay here- no y/n! That's selfish...but it'd be nice to have some company around...'

"Ah! Where am I- oh right..." Kai screamed as he woke with a start.

"Morning sleepyhead." You smiled. He gave a half smile back."So...you gonna start looking for your team?"

"Yeah..."He trailed off into thought.'It'd be nice if she could come with me, that would be nice, but I wonder what the others would think...' His thoughts were soon interrupted when you said that breakfast was ready."Thanks Y/n."

"No prob." You said with a small smile.

"H-hey...Y/n? Would...would you like to come home with me?" He asked nervously.

"Um...Y-yeah! That w-would be nice." You blushed, then quickly hid it, while Kai had a large smile on his face.

Later on that day, you got your stuff from your place and placed it into a backpack. After getting packed, you led Kai out of the thick forest you had been in. From the edge of the forest, Kai could navigate how to get back to his teammates.

"So...how's life...out of the forest?" You asked timidly as you guys sped down the road on some device thingy you had made.

"It's good...lots of missions and stuff to do...especially with (your mom's name) looking for a way to banish them...then searching for her lost daughter..." Kai answered and you gasped.'That's my mom...she's not dead!' You though smiling to yourself, then suddenly realized that a drunk driver was about to crash into you, so you threw Kai off and he landed safely just as the driver hit you. You went flying off towards Kai, but more severely injured, and unconscious. Kia winced as he landed on his broken wrist. Then he ran over to you.

"Y-y/n? Are...are you okay?" Kai asked even though he knew you were not. He quickly checked for a pulse, which he found. He sighed in relief until he saw a gash in your arm. Kai quickly tore off his mask and wrapped it around your arm. He also saw that you leg was twisted weirdly and picked you up carefully, then quickly brought you to the nearest hospital he could find. Once he arrived, lucky, a doctor saw hum holding you, then immediately took you to a room.

"Wa-""Sir, we'll make sure everything's alright, just stay here." The nurse told him calmly as possible As Kai nodded his head.

"Excuse miss?" He asked the lady at the desk.

"Yes?" She replied.

"May I borrow your phone?" He nervously smiled. (I really don't know if they have other phones free for people to use at hospitals...I don't go there often...)

"Sure." She handed him a phone, then he dialed Cole's number.

"Cole, bring the others, and get down to the hospital please." Kai said with some urgency in his voice.

"K-kai!? Are you alright?!" Cole asked surprised to hear Kai's voice.

"Just come...the address is (random address), okay?" Kai told home.

"Okay, bye. They both hung up.

(The team arrives)

"KAI! How have you been?" Jay asked excitedly to see his lost teammate.

"Geez...how long was I gone?" Kai asked nervously scratching his neck and smiling.

"Hm...four days?" Jay estimated.

"Wai-whaaaat...four days!? I was really knocked out for three days?" He mumbled the last part.

"Guess so." Lloyd said.

"Why'd you call us here?" Cole asked in a serious tone.

"Well...this girl...she helped me out for a day...and then we were driving on some sort of thingy and a drunk driver crashed into us and...yeah...also my wrist is broken..." He looked down at his wrist blushing a bit while Zane had called a doctor over to fix up Kai.

"Follow me sir." The doctor said to Kai.

"Hey guys..." Kai said giving a crooked grin.

"Hi." They all said in unison as their eyes trailed down to Kai's red cast, but then snapped their heads up once another doctor came in.

"Hm...Kai? Is it? Well...this girl you brought in just is unconscious, has a broken leg, some some minor scratches, and a huge gash on her right arm." He said looking down at a chart,"We should have her all fixed up by tomorrow, you may leave now."

"Thanks." Kai said as he ushered the others out, blushing again about the fact that he wanted to actually come visit a girl tomorrow.

"Kai...are you in love?" Asked the curious Zane.

"W-why would you ask such a ridiculous question?" Kai asked stuttering a bit.

"Well...you were blushing in the hospital at the mention if her..." Zane responded while looking at Kai, and he saw a LOT of emotion going through his eyes.

"W-well...m-maybe I d-do." Kai tried saying smoothly, but miserably failing.

"Ok." Zane said then hopped into the driver seat of the car.

-night-

As Kai lay in bed, he couldn't stop thinking about you. Even though you guys had talked he wanted to learn about you, your past, and why you were living in a forest. A ton of thoughts were running through his head. Until he couldn't take it anymore. He got up from his bed and walked towards the tv room. Once he layer down and started watching tv, the news came on, which talked about the accident with them. That didn't help to clear his mind much...so he walked out to train on the training course...or at least tried...He had a lot of trouble with his wrist. Then Zane caught him and ordered hi. To quit training until he was fully healed. Kai groaned, but listened and went back inside anyways.

"*siiggghhh* It's already...11:30pm..." Kai stuck his tongue out then hopped into bed again. He finally, FINALLY fell asleep at 1:20am.

_Morning_

Kai woke with a start. 'Y/n!' He thought. Kai quickly got ready and head out to visit you.(I'm sorry I don't know how hospitals work...so...I'll just go with what I'm doing...)

"Hi, can I visit Y/n?" He asked impatiently.

"Um...yeah, floor 2 room 223." She said.

"thanks!" He walked as quickly as possible to your room. Then quietly opened the door."Y-y/n? Are you...awake?" Kai asked blushing.

"Kai? Y-yeah..." You said with a hoarse voice. Kai smiled and walked in and beside your bed.

"How are you doing?" Kai asked.

"Just...swell." You replied," Other than all...this." You gestured to your injuries. Kai chuckled a little.

"H-hey y/n...w-would you like to maybe...go...on a d-d...d-d-dddd...""Well say it already! Go on what? A database?aaaa day? A donkey? A dolphin? A Disney trip? A dog? A dinosaur? A dragon? A-" a date! Do you wanna go on a date?" Kai asked,"You know...half those things you said didn't make much sense to me..."

"hehehe...I love rambling." You giggled softly.

"So..." Kai trailed off.

"oh! Yeah! Yes! I'd love to! That...might take a while...and how about a movie?" You suggested looking down to your leg, then at Kai's cast,"Hey are you okay?"

"Hm? Oh, y-yeah! I'm fine." Kai smiled.

"Good." You replied,"Welp...I'm gonna get some rest now!"

"Okay, see you soon." Kai said as he started heading towards the doors.

"Yeah...Can't wait!'I love you so much...'" You replied while mumbling something under your breath.

"Hm? What was that?" Kai asked turning around.

"N-nothing!" You said quickly.

"okay...bye." He said, then shut the door softly. You sighed'That was close...'

_After you get out of hospital and now you are on your date_

You laughed softly as Kai had just told you the story of The Pillow Kisser Jay. You guys had been talking for about an hour on a bridge with cherry blossom trees surrounding the place and

"So...how are your injuries?"He asked.

"Oh! They don't hurt that much anymore..."You trailed off.

"Well that's good. Hey how about we go into a café?" Kai suggested turning towards your direction.

"Sure! Why not?" You said happily. You guys soon arrived and found a table, then ordered.

"Strawberry parfait with extra whipped cream please!" You guys both said in unison, turned to each other, then smiled and laughed.

"How about...a couple's parfait with extra whipped cream?" The kind lady said.

" Sure!" You agreed excitedly, while Kai nodded, blushing a lot. After getting your order, you both sat down. As you set your crutches down, Kai wen to get some straws and napkins.

"Here you go Madame!" He joked in a happy manner.

"Thank you kind sir!" You laughed. Soon, the parfait was gone, and you two were laughing and talking again.

"Hey...Y/n...what did you say yesterday?" Kai asked suddenly Catching you off guard.

"EH!? Why would you ask tha- oh...um...nothing...I ." You replied nervously.

"I think it was ' .you'"He smiled teasingly.

"Ehh!? How did you know!?" You said astonished as Kai's mouth went agape.

"I-I didn't know...I was just joking..." Kai said mumbling.

"Oh...hehehehhhh..." You gave timid smile.

"So...you do?" He asked serious.

"Uh...well...y-yeah...but...but you probably don't feel the same way...I'll...I'll just leave now." You muttered while looking down And grabbing your crutches.

" No wait! Don't go! I...I do love you..." Kai said blushing as red as his ninja suit.

"R-really?" you asked looking up with hope in your eyes.

"Yes. And I will say it to the world! I!LOVE!Y/NNNN!" He shouted and people gave him weird looks.

"Kai! What the hey!?" You yelled at him laughing hard. He laughed along with you, then he suddenly leaned in and you guys somehow got this pink sparkly with with hearts and roses.

"Will you...be my...my...g...g..." "Gopher?!Guinea Pig? Gorilla?Giraffe?" You joke as he was having another problem with saying a lovey word. "G-g-girlfriend!?" He finished.

"Yeah!" you smiled widely. He then leaned in closer closing the gap and kissing you on the lips fully. You then started kissing back, then you both pulled away for air.

"I love you so much." You both said at the same time with that background appearing again."Snap!"

" .that?" You turned around with a dangerous glare on your face, then saw the blue 'Pillow Kissing' Ninja Jay, and Cole and Lloyd. "Get outta here!"

"AHHH!" They all screamed running away, the camera on the ground. You smashed it violently. You walked back to Kai panting heavily.

"Wow...remind me never to make you mad..." He said with wide eyes. You laughed, the. He started laughing along. From that day on, you two were a loving couple!
