Shy Girl

In high school, you were always the girl in the back. One that was never called on. One that was never noticed, talked to, or wanted to be the center of attention. You didn't really mind being ignored though, except, you had a slight crush on this one guy. He was like the exact opposite from you though. He was loud, always raising his hand, or just talking out, and was most popular guy at school. This guy always had girls surrounding him or asking him out. Even though he could get any girl he wanted, he declined all of them. So, you thought that he would most likely decline you too. Plus you were to scared to ask him out.

"Aha no thank you miss, but I ah...I like someone else!" The spikey haired brunette replied. The blonde haired girl frowned then walked back to her seat. Suddenly, he glanced back at you smiling. You gasped, you never thought that Kai, the most popular guy would look in your direction! Unfortunately, lots of other girls in front of you or beside you were fighting over who he looked at. You looked down at your hands blushing at that thought. 'H-h-he looked at me! I...I think?' You thought nervously to yourself while slowly looking up to him to catch a glance. (You have a very big class. There is like...50 kids in it for some reason...)

"AHEM! STUDENTS! LOOK TO THE FRONT PLEASE! As the great teacher Dareth comes in!" You're weird teacher yelled while walking into the classroom. Although you didn't show much emotion, in your mind, he was the most annoying person/teacher/whatever on earth. (Sorry to any Dareth lovers). "Today! There will be a research assignment! And I have selected partners for each and every one of you!" Your eyes widened at the thought of working with one of your peers.

"Y/n...and...eh? Looks like you don't have a partner...Um...I must've made a weird mistake?" Dareth scratched his chin not realizing that he had put three people in a group.

"Excuse me? Mr. Dareth sir, you put me in a group of two! And I'd be willing to be Y/n's partner..." Kai slightly blushed at the end, but it wasn't that noticeable.

"Oops, sorry Y/n! I guess I forgot you were in this class...my apologies. Anywho, your project is due in a month!" You slightly frowned when he said he forgot about you. Kai was looking back at you and saw you frown. His eyes showed a look of sorry, but you didn't notice.

After school

"Hey, hi, Hello, Y/n, don't freak, it's Kai." You phone had buzzed and notified you of a text.

"hi, how'd u get my number?" You texted back while blushing.

"One of your friends gave it to me:) I'm not a creepy stalker!" Wait I don't have any friends...they're all in Europe for some reason...

"I don't have any friends here, they're all in Europe. Who did you talk to?" You quickly texted back with a very confused face.

"Hm...I asked...uh...I dont remember her name, too many girls! I think it was something like...uh...Sakura?" He replied.

"Ah"

"Uh, can I come over tomorrow so we can start our project?"

"Of course! Um...we can walk to my house together, I only live a few minutes away from school..." Your blush was 10 times redder once you sent it.

"Sure! C ya at school tomorrow! later!" You smiled and cheered in your head, but then thought of all of the possibilities that could go wrong. Like

You could make it awkward

you could confess your love

you could do something stupid

you could throw up out of nervousness

he wouldn't come

he's a lazy slacker

he hated you

he was being nice to you out of pity

"GAHHH I need to stop being so negative..." You grumbled to yourself,"it'll be fine. . . everything will be just fine." You closed your eyes for a few minutes, then went to go start some research for this project, just for a head start.

Ummm...sorry! This probably one be finished, if I ever do decide to finish it though, it'll probably take a while.
