Chapter 47: Summer Fun
Santana's POV
Wednesday 13th July 2022
It's been over a week now since I found out that Brittany wasn't pregnant and Emma was. I'm actually feeling ok about it now because Brittany assured me that we will have more children at some point. I don't mind that it's not right away because just knowing it will happen is good for me because I see Brittany's point, now isn't really the time.
The kids are at day-care a lot more now so I've started back work full time with the exception that I still work from home on Mondays. As much as I miss the kids, I'm actually enjoying it. I'm just working on a case right now when Artie comes into my office and sits across from me at my desk.
"Hey you" I smirk at Artie.
"Hello Santana" he says while looking at me weirdly.
"How are you doing?" I ask, still smiling at him.
"I'm fine" he shrugs. "Santana why are you looking at me like that?"
"I'm just happy for you" I shrug.
"Happy for me, why?" he asks really confused.
"Emma said you were happy with the pregnancy" I say frowning in confusion.
"Wait, you know?" he asks surprised.
"Of course I know. I thought it was my girl that was pregnant not yours" I state.
"Brittany's pregnant?" Artie asks shocked.
"No" I laugh. "I said I thought she was the pregnant one, not Emma. There was some confusion about a phone call from the doctor and it turns out that Emma and Brittany have the same doctor so I heard the phone message before anyone else and wrongly assumed Brittany was pregnant."
"Why would you have Emma's phone?" Artie asks.
"No they called my house and left a message. Emma put down Brittany's contact details instead of hers because she wanted you to find out from her and not through a phone message at her apartment" I reply.
"So wait a second, you and Brittany knew before I did about the pregnancy?" Artie asks and I nod. "Well isn't that nice" he says sarcastically while sighing.
"Are you mad about that?" I ask. I'm a little taken aback by his reaction.
"How would you feel if Emma and I knew Brittany was pregnant before you did?" he asks.
"I'm not saying it occurred in an ideal situation Artie but Brittany is Emma's sister. I can see why she might want the support of her sister first especially since you and her are still early into the relationship" I reply.
"You knew about my first child before I did. I can't say I'm overjoyed about that because it's personal between Emma and me" he states.
"Artie this isn't my fault" I say getting a little defensive.
"I'm sorry" he says honestly, clearly realising my reaction. "I just would have liked to have known before other people but I don't mean to take it out on you."
"I know where you're coming from because finding out about having your first child is different. I'm not saying finding out about Ella wasn't exciting because it was, I just mean there's more of a shift going from no children to one than from one to two" I reply.
"Why would Emma not tell me right away though?" he asks after a minute of silence.
"I'm not exactly sure but you should talk to her. She wouldn't have meant any harm by it though" I tell him. That conversation is between him and Emma, I don't want to say something in case that's not the reason.
"Yeah I'll talk to her" he nods.
"You must be excited though that you're starting a family" I say. Having children is stressful but also the most wonderful thing in the world.
"I really am" Artie smiles.

I've just gotten home from work and picking the kids up from day-care about half an hour ago. Even though Brittany works at the hospital where the day-care is, I still like to pick them up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because I finish work a little earlier than Brittany since I start work earlier than her. Aiden and Ella were both so exhausted when we got home so I put them down for a nap. I'm just cutting up some of the vegetable for dinner when I hear the front door close.
"Hey I'm home" Brittany shouts as she walks inside.
"I'm in the kitchen" I reply so she makes her way through. She quickly scans the room before walking over to me, placing my knife on the chopping board and pulling me against her. She then leans in and kisses me passionately on the lips while squeezing my hips lightly.
"Hi" she smiles as she pulls away.
"Hi" I reply while taking a deep breath to gather myself together. That kiss really caught me off guard.
"Where are the children?" she asks while wrapping her arms around me.
"They're both taking a nap" I reply.
"I understand Ella napping right now but Aiden doesn't usually" Brittany says frowning in confusion.
"According to Holly at day-care, Aiden and one of his little friends were being mischievous and refused to take their afternoon nap when it was nap time. They were put in the naughty corner because of it but that only made them misbehave even more because they were together" I reply unamused. I just don't understand it sometimes because Aiden isn't that bad at home. I mean don't get me wrong he can misbehave but so does every 2 year old.
"I'll need to speak to him then" Brittany sighs.
"It's ok, I've already done it and he promised me he won't do it again" I reply.
"Really?" Brittany asks surprised.
"Don't look so surprised babe, I'm getting good at being firm with him" I say laughing.
"I'm proud of you" she smiles before stealing a quick kiss. "So how was work?" she asks.
"It was ok. I did speak to Artie briefly and may have slightly put my foot in it" I reply.
"What do you mean?" she asks confused.
"Well Artie didn't know we found out before he did about the pregnancy so he was a bit sad to know that he wasn't the first person to know. I mean it is completely understandable because I wouldn't want him to know you were pregnant before I did" I tell her.
"I'm sure Emma will explain more about it when they talk" Brittany replies.
"Yeah that's what I said to him. He just needs to talk to your sister" I say. "It's not really our business anymore, it's between the two of them."
"Exactly" Brittany nods in agreement. "So enough about that, can I do anything to help with dinner?" she asks.
"No I think I've got it all under control but you could check on the children" I say. They don't like eating as soon as they wake up so I want to see if they're awake now to give them some time before dinner.
"Ok" she smiles while moving out of my hold. She then goes to check on the kids and I go back to preparing dinner. I'm just chopping up some carrots when I feel a tug on my shirt.
"Hey buddy, what's going on?" I ask when I look down at Aiden standing next to me pulling on my shirt.
"One please" Aiden states while pointing at the carrots.
"Do you want a carrot?" I ask him and he nods his head. "Ok, there you go" I say while handing him a chopped piece of carrot. Brittany and I don't allow him to snack between meals all that often but considering it's a healthy snack then I'm ok with it.
"I thought he didn't like carrots" Brittany says chuckling as she walks into the room with Ella in her arms.
"He doesn't always eat them but its good that he's giving it a go tonight" I say.

Friday 15th July 2022
Brittany is going out tonight for some drinks with some work friends. One of her colleagues is leaving to go to another job so they're having a little leaving party for her. I'm glad she's going out and having fun but I did forget about it until this afternoon so I was hoping to have had a relaxing night with her since I'm back at work full time now.
"What do you think of this dress?" Brittany asks as she steps backwards so I can see her outfit.
"It looks great" I smile.
"It's not too much for drinks with friends is it?" she asks.
"Not at all" I assure her. "It looks really good on you" I smile.
"Ok" she smiles back.
"So are you ready to go now?" I ask. I'm going to drive her there but she'll probably take a cab back because I can't take the kids out late at night.
"I just need to adjust my makeup and I'm ready" she replies.
"Ok well come outside and lock up when you're ready and I'll get the kids into the car" I say and she nods. I then head downstairs with the kids and get them into the car.
"Where are we going mom?" Aiden asks curiously.
"We're giving mommy a ride to meet some of her friends" I tell Aiden. "Then you, Ella and me are going to have some fun just the 3 of us" I smile.
"Cakes?" Aiden asks, his face lightening up at the thought.
"We could bake some cakes if you want" I nod. Aiden loves to bake but we don't get to do it that often so it might be a fun activity to do tonight.
"Ok, I'm ready to go" Brittany says smiling as she walks over to the car. She then gets in and we set off. "So are you two going to be good for mom while I'm out?" she asks Aiden and Ella.
"Yes mommy" Aiden replies. "We making cakes" he adds.
"Oh that sounds like fun" Brittany says smiling at Aiden through the mirror. "Will you leave me one so I can eat it?" she asks.
"Ok" Aiden smiles back at Brittany. "I make you loads" he tells her.
"Thank you buddy" she smiles at him. "I would ask mom to leave me a cake but I think she'd just eat them all before I got home" she says teasing me.
"Mommy is being cheeky to me Aiden" I say to our son.
"Mommy funny" Aiden says giggling.
"Aren't you going to tell her off for calling me greedy?" I ask him.
"No" Aiden giggles again.
"Ok so I'll just get a cab home later but I doubt I'll be out that late" Brittany says as I park up outside the venue.
"That's cool. Have a good night" I say before kissing her.
"I'll see you two later ok?" Brittany says before turning round leaning over to kiss Aiden and Ella on the head.
"Britt, watch your dress" I say laughing while pulling her back. "I don't need anyone getting a free look at your butt babe."
"Relax, it's not that short" she smiles at me. "Anyway, I'll see you later" she says before kissing me again and getting out of the car.
"Have fun" I smile and then she shuts the door. She waves at us before heading inside. "Just the 3 Lopez's now so let's go and have some fun" I tell Aiden and Ella.
Once we get home, I get Ella settled in her bouncer at the side and then Aiden helps me get the baking ingredients out. We then decide what kind of cakes we want to make and how many. We get our hands washed and then get started on making the cakes.
"Aiden are you drawing things on the table in the spilled flour?" I ask him amusingly.
"Yes" he giggles.
"Ok well how about helping mom stir this cake batter instead because it's more fun than playing with the flour" I say to him.
"Ok" he smiles at me before standing up in his seat and taking the spoon from me.
"Watch you don't fall buddy" I tell him while keeping a hold on him by the waist. He doesn't really listen to me though because he's too preoccupied with making sure he's stirring the mixture hard enough.
"Look mom" Aiden states before turning around in my arms and placing cake batter on my nose. "You messy" he giggles.
"And so are you" I laugh while placing cake batter on his nose.
After messing around with Aiden for a bit and playing with Ella, we eventually get the cakes in the oven and get cleaned up. While the cakes are baking, I get the kids bathed and changed. We're now getting things out to decorate the cakes with and icing them.
"Let's put an 'A' on that one for Aiden" I tell him, "and then an 'E' on this one for Ella."
"You and mommy?" Aiden asks.
"Ok we'll decorate these two with mine and mommy's initials" I tell him.
"Letter 'B' for mommy" he states.
"That's right, mommy's name begins with the letter B so well done" I reply.
"Yeah!" Aiden claps his hands excitedly.
"What letter do I have?" I ask him. He's getting good at learning the alphabet.
"Ssss" he replies making the 'S' sound.
"Yes that's right" I smile while holding up my hand and he high fives me.

"Hey" Brittany whispers as she walks into Aiden's room where I currently am.
"Hi" I whisper back while smiling at her.
"What are you doing in here?" she asks.
"Aiden had a bit of temperature tonight so I'm just going to sit with him for a little bit" I smile. I don't think it's anything to worry about, I think he was just getting overexcited spending time with me and Ella and having fun.
"Is it just a temperature or is there anything else?" Brittany asks worriedly.
"He just seems a little warm but I really don't think it's anything to worry about. I gave him a cool bath earlier and that seemed to bring the temperature down a bit" I tell her.
"Has Ella been ok?" she asks while sitting on the arm of the chair I'm sitting on.
"Yeah she's been great. She even managed to pull herself up holding onto the coffee table earlier" I say. She's nearly done that several times but tonight she finally succeeded.
"Oh wow" Brittany smiles. "I wish I could have seen it. I know it's not walking or anything but it's a step closer" she adds.
"I've got it all recorded on my iPad so don't worry" I tell her.
"That's good" she nods. We sit in silence for a minute just enjoying the quietness and watching our little boy peacefully sleeping.
"Hey, how do you spell your name again babe?" I ask.
"What?" Brittany asks with a slight chuckle.
"How do you spell your name, is it with one 't' or two?" I ask.
"Why do you want to know this?" she asks, still laughing slightly.
"I've just been doing a crossword while I keep Aiden company and the clue is another name for beautiful so I need to know the correct spelling for Brittany please" I smile.
"Smooth Lopez, real smooth" she says blushing slightly. I really love how much I can still make her blush. "Technically though that answer is spelled S-A-N-T-A-N-A" she smiles.
"Now who is the smooth one" I smile back before leaning in to kiss her. "I think Aiden should be ok now if you want to leave the room" I say.
"Ok" she nods and then we leave the room and head downstairs with the baby monitors.
"So did you have fun tonight?" I ask as we sit on the couch together.
"I did but it's not exactly how I wanted to spend my Friday night" she admits.
"What else would you have liked to do tonight?" I ask curiously. I thought she was really looking forward to having a night out.
"You" she smirks.
"Oh" I say laughing in realisation. "Maybe we can have our own little party of two tomorrow night if you wish" I suggest. "Once we get the kids in bed then we can open some wine and I'll plan some other romantic things for us" I smile.
"That sounds so good" she smiles.
"In the meantime though, do you want to watch a movie or something with me now?" I ask.
"Yeah ok" she replies. "Why don't you stick one on and I'll rub upstairs to change and freshen up a bit. I stink of alcohol because someone dropped a tray of drinks and it went over a few of us."
Brittany's POV
Saturday 16th July 2022
Santana is picking Aiden up from dance class so I'm at home with Ella. She was helping me do some household chores for a while, well I was doing them while she crawled along beside me, but now I'm sitting down with her to give her some milk.
"Don't you want some more?" I ask her as she keeps avoiding her bottle. "Or do you maybe want mommy to give you a yoghurt?"
"Mommy" Ella murmurs.
"What did you just say?" I ask shocked while staring at her.
"Mommy" Ella giggles.
"That's right I'm mommy" I smile down at her. "I am so proud of you sweetheart for saying your first word, well done" I say while kissing her head. She just giggles at me again.
After I'm finished feeding Ella and changing her diaper, we spend some time together playing with her toys. We're just playing with a ball on the floor when Aiden sprints into the room followed by Santana chasing after him telling him not to run indoors. He rushes straight over to me and I put my arms around him.
"Hey buddy, how was dance class?" I ask Aiden as he hugs me.
"I flipped" he says smiling brightly at me.
"You did?" I ask surprised.
"Yep, according to the teacher he did this little cartwheel type thing. I'm just thankful they had a soft landing because that's a little bit adventurous for a toddler dance class" Santana replies.
"Maybe next time mommy can come to class and you can show me how you did it" I tell him.
"I do now" Aiden states before taking a little run across the floor getting ready for his cartwheel.
"I don't think so" Santana states, catching him in the air before he can do his little move.
"Not fair" Aiden says growling at Santana.
"This is a house Aiden, not a gym so we don't do things like that in here. I'm telling you to not only stop you from damaging things but also for your own safety" Santana replies while keeping a hold of Aiden in her arms in case he tries again.
"I wants to show you" Aiden states while tickling Santana's chin hoping it'll make her change her mind.
"Aid buddy, don't do that" Santana says laughing. "I just don't want you to get hurt that's all" she tells him.
"How about we put lots of cushions on the floor and you promise Aiden to only do this little cartwheel where there are soft landings" I suggest.
"Yes mommy" he replies happily.
"Britt…"
"Santana he'll be fine. I've been doing things like that since I was his age" I say trying to reassure her.
"That doesn't make me feel much better" she laughs. "I suppose you're going to do it anyway Aiden so let's make a nice soft landing" she says while placing Aiden on the ground and grabbing some cushions. Aiden quickly helps her with the cushions and blankets.
"While you two do that, Ella can you show mom what you did earlier?" I ask her while bouncing her lightly on my knees. She just gurgles at me. "Come on honey, let's show mom and your big brother" I say trying to encourage her.
"Mommy" Ella states while reaching out and pulling on Santana's hair in front of us.
"Oh my god your first word. I am so proud of you Ella" Santana says while twisting round and hugging Ella tightly.
"Me, me, me" Aiden says while running over to Santana and Ella. "I want hug" he states before pushing Santana away slightly to try and hug Ella. I don't think he knows why we're all excited but it is cute to see him so desperate to hug his sister.
"Ok Aid, let's see what you've got" I tell him.
"Ok" he claps his hands together excitedly. He then makes his way to one end of the room and then does a little cartwheel across the soft landing we prepared.
"That was so good" I say praising him.
"It really was" Santana says clapping her hands.
"Do it again?" Aiden asks.
"I don't think mom's nerves could take that Aid" I say looking over at Santana. I know on the outside she is proud of him but she's terrified on the inside that he gets hurt.
"You can do it one more time" Santana replies.
"Ok" Aiden giggles before cartwheeling from the other side this time.
"That was another good cartwheel son" I smile at him. "We do need to get tidied up now and get ready though" I say.
The whole family are all going to Santana's parents' house today for a family barbeque. Santana's siblings and their partners and kids are going as well as my parents and siblings. Maribel and Mario have an outdoor pool in their back garden so the barbeque is going to be double the fun for the kids since they can play in the pool.
"Are you sure we shouldn't take something Santana because your mom and dad are doing all the work" I say. I feel bad just turning up to eat their food and play in their pool. It's only nice to take some food with us or something to contribute.
"We are taking something" Santana smiles at me.
"Oh that's good" I smile back, sighing slightly in relief. "So what are we taking, did you make some nice side dishes and get some salad for the barbeque?" I ask. I know she hasn't cooked anything so I'm just assuming that's what she's done.
"No it's not food we're taking" she shakes her head. "We're taking Aiden and Ella" she shrugs.
"Excuse me?" I ask confused.
"We're taking them two of their grandchildren, that's more than any gift they could ever get" she smiles at me brightly.
"That's not funny, I am being serious Santana" I say unamused. I know she's joking but it's really not nice to turn up to a dinner party of sorts with nothing.
"They're my parents Britt, they won't care" Santana shrugs.
"I care though. Look I feel incredibly rude just turning up here when the whole family are all going. We need to contribute something" I tell her.
"Relax babe, I am winding you up" she smiles at me before kissing my cheek. "I've got some beer and wine to take for the adults and then we're picking up a bakery order on the way. There's little cupcakes and things for everyone" she adds.
"Ok good" I nod.
"I would've took the cakes from last night but we didn't make nearly enough for everyone plus I want them to be just kept for us since Aiden decorated them all himself with all our initials" she tells me.
"That's cool" I smile.
Once we get to Santana's parents' house, we help everyone get the barbeque set up and the food started. Aiden and Ella hang out with Santana's sister while Santana and I are helping with the food.
"Britt are you ok finishing off preparing this salad for me because I need to go and rescue my sister. Aiden is messing around and she has Ella and Olivia to look after too" Santana states.
"Yeah no problem" I smile.
"Thank you" Santana says before kissing my cheek and then rushing over to Eva and the kids. Aiden is two so he gets up to all sorts so that in itself is hard enough but trying to look after him and two small children is a nightmare at times. Ella and Olivia are only a few weeks apart so I don't blame Santana for going over there to help her sister out.
Once most of the food is prepared and cooked, everyone just comes over and helps themselves to what they want. Most of us are making sure our children get something to eat first though since they're our priority. Santana seemed busy with her sister and all the kids so I decided to make up a plate for her.
"I got you some food" I say while handing Santana the plate.
"Thanks Britt, you didn't need to do that" Santana smiles at me. "Hey it looks like my Pierce is better than yours" she smirks to her sister.
"Whatever Santana, it's not a competition between Brittany and her brother" Eva says while laughing.
"Yes but Scott didn't make you up a plate of food but Brittany made me a plate" she states smugly.
"I get it Santana, Brittany is just perfect so let it go" Eva laughs.
"If you want to go and get yourself some food Eva, I'll stay with Santana and look after all the children" I tell her.
"Ok thank you" Eva says before going off to get something to eat.

I'm just having a conversation with my parents who are looking after Ella right now when I hear Aiden screaming at the top of his lungs to Santana.
"Aiden Lopez, do not shout at people like that" I tell him firmly.
"Mom did it too" Aiden huffs.
"No mom did not shout at anyone" I reply and Aiden just shrugs at me. I think if Santana had shouted I'd have heard it.
"Would you like a time-out on the naughty step?" I ask.
"No mommy" Aiden shakes his head.
"Be nice then please" I tell him and he nods his head at me.
"Can I swim mom?" Aiden asks turning around to Santana again.
"I mean you can try" Santana replies while chuckling slightly since Aiden hasn't quite mastered the art of swimming yet. "You need your water wings on though" she points out.
"Ok mom" Aiden smiles.
"I'm coming into the water with you too" Santana states while getting Aiden ready for the pool.
Since Santana has Aiden and my parents have Ella then I thought it might be a good time to go and talk to Emma now. I want to see how things are going with her and make sure she's ok. Once I finish my conversation with my parents, I go over to Emma.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" I ask Emma as I sit next to her.
"Really good actually" Emma smiles. "Hey is Santana still pissed at me?" she asks.
"No of course not" I shake my head. "I've assured Santana that more kids are in our future plans so she seems satisfied with that. I mean I do want more children too but right now isn't the time but I'm not going to keep her hanging on too long. If possible I'd like Ella to be 1 before we got pregnant."
"Ok" she nods.
"So have you and Artie had a good talk about things?" I ask.
"Yeah it's all sorted out now" Emma says, sighing in relief slightly.
"So what's going to happen now?" I ask curiously. "Are you and Artie going to move in together so you can both bring up the baby together?"
"We haven't really thought that far ahead yet" she replies, chuckling slightly. "I've been more concerned about making sure I still have a boyfriend and that he's happy I'm pregnant."
"I don't mean to scare you Emma but before you know it you'll be almost due and you won't have anything sorted out. I would start thinking about it now because by the later stages of pregnancy you won't have the energy for doing much" I tell her. There's nothing worse than getting stressed and panicked when you're in the later stages of pregnancy. Santana did everything for me and I still felt exhausted.
"I know" Emma sighs. "I suppose we should think about it but I wouldn't know whose apartment would be better to move into."
"You could always buy your own house together then. I mean you both have good careers and you have some savings so you could afford it" I tell her.
"It does seem like the most obvious answer but are Artie and I really ready for that?" Emma asks.
"You're having a baby together so whether you're ready or not, you're always to go be in one another's lives now" I reason.
"I guess I will talk to him about it then" she nods.
"Good" I smile before pulling my phone out. "No time like the present then to look at some houses" I say while beginning to look through the internet at properties nearby for sale.
"Wait, you're looking now?" Emma asks surprised.
"Yeah and I'm going to help you find the perfect place for you, Artie and the baby" I smile. We sit silently for a moment while I flip through some houses. "Oh look at this one, this looks like a good match" I say while showing Emma the house.
"It looks great but the price Britt, it's too much" Emma shakes her head.
"It's not that bad plus you and Artie will buy it together so between the two of you I think you'll manage" I assure her.
"Nice house, whose is it?" Artie asks as he comes over and notices us looking at pictures of the house.
"Yours and Emma's hopefully" I smile at Artie.
"Brittany!" Emma states shocked.
"What?" I shrug.
"I wanted to discuss things with Artie first, you can't just blurt it out like that" Emma sighs.
"What's going on here?" Artie asks confused.
"We were talking about you guys and the baby and it occurred to me that you don't live together so maybe you should buy a house together" I reply. "I know you both have apartments but you're starting a family now so there's no reason why you shouldn't buy a house together."
"It would make sense" Artie nods.
"Look I wanted to talk to you myself about this so I'm sorry that Brittany is just loading it all on you just now" Emma says to Artie.
"No Brittany's right, we should buy a house together" Artie replies, "and if this is the house you like then we can set up an appointment to see it."
"Really?" I ask surprised.
"Yeah" Artie nods. "I want Emma, me and the baby to be a proper little family so I'm more than happy for us to buy a place together where we can spend our whole life there and add to our family" he smiles.
"That's sweet" I smile at them both.
"Mommy!" Aiden screams over at me so I look over at him and Santana.
"Don't scream at her buddy" Santana says laughing.
"Watch mommy" Aiden tells me so I watch him. He starts swimming on his own with his water wings on and Santana watching his every move intently.
"Wow, you're doing so well" I tell him encouragingly. I then turn to Emma and Artie. "Hey guys, I'll leave you both to it and I'll go and see my little family now" I smile before going over to the side of the pool.
"Did you see?" Aiden asks me excitedly.
"I did and you were swimming so well. It won't be long before you're swimming on your own without your wings" I smile at him. After swimming for a little bit more, Aiden stops and wraps his arms around Santana's neck so she'll keep him afloat.
"No swim" Aiden shakes his head.
"Have you had enough swimming now?" Santana asks him and he nods his head. "Ok" she smiles at him.
"Play with Harry?" Aiden asks Santana.
"You can play with your cousin if you want" Santana smiles again while lifting Aiden and carrying him over towards Jason and Harry. "Do you have room for a little terror?" she asks her brother.
"Of course" Jason smiles at Aiden. "Harry is showing me how well he can jump into the pool."
"I want to jump" Aiden states while clapping his hands together excitedly.
"You two can take turns then" Jason tells Aiden.
"Be careful with him Jason, he can't swim" Santana warns her brother.
"I know that Santana and I'll be right here to catch them both. They can take turns at jumping in" Jason replies.
"Ok good" Santana nods. It's so cute how protective she is of the children, especially Aiden right now when he's getting more and more adventurous.
As soon as I see Santana on her own, I dive into the pool and swim underwater until I get to her where I pop up from the water right in front of her.
"Hi" I smile at her.
"Hey" she smiles back while putting her arms around me. "I feel like I have barely seen you since we got here."
"I know because we've either been busy with the children or talking to our family" I say. It has been fun though to have the whole family together to just have fun.
"I'm absolutely exhausted with chasing Aiden around all day" Santana laughs. "He just wants to do so much that he probably can't do just now especially when we're in the pool."
"Speaking of exhausted, do you mind if we have the romantic night another night because this barbeque is tiring me out already" I say.
"No that's fine babe. We can reschedule" she smiles.
"Thank you" I say while kissing her cheek.

After spending the rest of the afternoon with the families, Santana, the kids and I all headed home. Aiden and Ella were quite tired from their busy day so they went straight for a nap when we got home. Santana and I meanwhile took some time to just relax together. Once the kids were awake, it was back to mommy duties again, with feeding, bathing and getting them ready for bed. Santana is currently reading Aiden another bedtime story because he wasn't as tired anymore because of his late afternoon nap while I'm in the en suite getting ready for bed.
"Britt, where are you?" Santana asks as she comes into the bedroom.
"I'm in the bathroom, I won't be a second" I reply.
"Ok" she replies. Once I'm finished, I make my way into the bedroom.
"Hi" I say seductively while leaning against the bathroom doorframe.
"Hi" Santana smiles while sitting up in bed to admire the view a bit more. "I'm slightly confused because you're wearing sexy lingerie but I thought you wanted to reschedule our plans tonight" she states.
"I wanted to put you off the scent so that this could be a surprise. I hate how we have to schedule sex all the time so I thought if I cancelled and then surprised you it would be a bit more spontaneous because you wouldn't expect it" I reply.
"I like that" she smiles. "I also really like you so could you come over here please" she states.
"I could but I won't" I smirk. I then pull a chair to the middle of the room and point to it. "Sit there" I tell her.
"O-k" she says looking at me slightly confused but nevertheless going over and sitting down on the chair.
"I'm going to dance for you but I must warn you, there are some rules" I say while straddling her.
"What kind of rules?" she asks curiously while placing her hands on my hips.
"Well first of all, no touching" I tell her while removing her hands from my body.
"I can't touch anywhere or just you?" she asks with a slight smirk.
"You can't touch anywhere, no" I shake my head.
"The whole night or just this first part?" she asks.
"Eventually you can touch whatever you want but right now you can't" I smile and she nods. "Now before I proceed, I think you should lose some layers of clothing" I tell her.
"Can you undress me?" Santana says with a smirk as I move from her lap.
"I most certainly can" I smile while leaning forward and beginning to take her shirt off. I then slowly remove the rest of her clothes so she's just left in underwear. "No touching remember, ok?" I say while straddling her hips once again and putting my arms around her neck before beginning to grind on her.
"Oh god, this is so hard" she groans, trying to keep her hands behind her back to stop herself from touching me.
"No what's hard is you" I smirk at her while standing up again.
"It's so true" she replies. I begin dancing around her and the more I do it the more I can see it's getting to her.
"Come on" I say while reaching out and taking her hand. She stands up and I lead us over to the bed. I push her down onto it and then lean over and kiss her. "You can touch me now" I smile.
"Oh thank god" she states in relief while grabbing a hold of me and pulling me as close as possible to her so she can kiss me. After kissing for a moment or so, Santana flips us over and hovers above me, kissing me again.
"Shit, I am getting so turned on already" I moan.
"You're looking sexy too" she smirks before pulling away slightly to remove my lingerie. "I seriously can't get enough of your body sometimes" she says as she leans down and kisses me again before leaving a trail of kisses down my body.
"I really need you inside me" I moan while trying to pull her upwards so I can kiss her.
"Ok baby" she smiles before sitting back to fully undress before leaning down again. She kisses me passionately while pushing into me.
"Oh yeah" I moan while gripping Santana's hips to help her build up a good rhythm between us. "Harder" I say making sure she doesn't slow down.
"You look so sexy lying there under me" she smirks. After some time, we eventually come together and Santana moves to lie next to me.
"I so needed that" I say trying to get my breath back.
"Me too" Santana smiles while turning her head to kiss me. "As soon as we get our energy back, I'm going to make you feel pleasure like you've never felt it before" she smirks.
"It sounds good but I think it's my turn right now to please you" I wink before straddling her hips.
"You already did it babe with the dance" she tells me with a smile.
"Not really. I did some lame dance before giving up because I wanted you so badly" I say while moving down and kissing down her body as I go. "I'm going to do it properly this time" I add while kissing her again.
"Ok" she smiles while reaching out to grab my butt as I lay on top of her.
"How do you stay so sexy all the time" I smile while running my hands through her hair as I begin kissing her once again.
"Having a hot wife keeps me motivated to keep myself sexy" she smirks. I swear no one could find anyone else as amazing as Santana. No matter what I say, she always finds a way to make me feel good about myself.
There will probably be a little time jump soon so I'm not dragging things on too much.
