Chapter 52: Double the fun
Santana's POV
We're in the middle of the ultrasound scan when the doctor pauses and looks confusingly to the monitor. She continues to look at it for a few seconds while gently moving the ultrasound wand over Brittany's stomach.
"I'm really starting to get worried here, what is going on?" Brittany asks impatiently.
"This is strange because I never saw this during the last scan?" the doctor states.
"Saw what?" Brittany asks impatiently again. I'm getting pretty pissed myself about how the doctor won't say what's going on. "You're freaking me out right now so please tell me what's going on. Is there something wrong with my baby?"
"There is nothing wrong at all" the doctor smiles.
"Ok so why the confusion?" Brittany asks.
"There are two figures and two heartbeats Brittany, you're having twins" the doctor smiles at us.
"Wait, seriously?" I ask. I don't know whether I'm shocked, excited or scared right now. I mean it's no secret that I want to have lots of kids with Brittany but to have two at the one time like this is a little daunting.
"You're definitely having twins" the doctor smiles again.
"Thanks Santana" Brittany mutters sarcastically, looking over at me.
"It's not solely my fault babe" I say laughing.
"It is if they're not identical twins because that means your little swimmers have fertilised two of my eggs when they should only do one" Brittany states.
"It's not quite as simple as that honey" I tell her.
"I know and I guess I'm just shocked. That was the last thing I expected to hear today. I was just hoping the baby was going to be ok, I didn't expect them to have a sibling in there" Brittany admits. "I'm happy though babe" she smiles before kissing me.
"Please tell me you're a little scared too?" I ask.
"Definitely" Brittany nods with a laugh.
"Ok good because this changes a few things now" I reply. I'm relieved she's a little nervous too because we've got a lot to handle with Aiden and Ella as well never mind another baby now.
"Can we get a more up to date scan picture then?" Brittany asks the doctor.
"Of course you can" the doctor smiles.
After we finish up with the scan and Brittany asks the doctor a few more questions, we leave and head to the day care with Aiden and Ella. We get the kids settled in before I walk Brittany to the department she works at.
"So, shall we just meet at the day-care when we both finish work and whoever is there first can go in and get the kids ready?" I suggest.
"Sounds like a plan" Brittany smiles.
"Ok well have a good day at work and I'll see you later" I say while kissing her goodbye.
"You too babe" she smiles. We both then head off to where we need to be. I may or may not have skipped a little bit into my office this morning because of the good news. It's scary but I'm also so happy that we're having two more kids.

After I finished work, I drove back to the hospital to get Brittany and the kids. They weren't waiting outside when I arrived at the day-care so I went inside to get Aiden and Ella ready, hoping once I'm done then Brittany would be about finished work and ready to go home. I spoke to some of the staff at the day-care to see how Aiden and Ella were today before going over to get them ready. I went over to where Ella was first and got her ready before going over to where Aiden was. Since they're different ages then there's different parts of the day-care that do different things depending on how old the kids are.
"I hear you were both very good today and you both took your naps when you were meant to" I smile at them both.
"Me good boy" Aiden smiles back at me as I help him put his jacket on.
"That's right and you were good too Ella" I say while turning to smile at her again as she sits in her stroller.
"Where's mommy?" Aiden asks confused since Brittany was with me earlier but not now.
"Mommy is still at work right now because after we left you two here, we both went to work but I got finished first" I tell Aiden.
"Wants mommy" Ella tells me.
"I promise she will be here soon" I tell them both. Once I get Aiden all sorted, we leave the day-care and wait outside for Brittany.
"Mommy!" Aiden yells happily as he runs over to her as she walks towards us.
"Hi buddy" Brittany smiles while picking Aiden up and hugging him tightly. I can't say I'm overly happy with her lifting him up since she's pregnant.
"Don't look at me like Santana, it's fine" she laughs.
"You're pregnant though Brittany" I tell her.
"I know but I'm very early on right now so it's fine, I'm only 12 or so weeks" she tells me.
"Yes, but you're carrying two babies now" I state.
"I appreciate you care but please don't get like this right now. I'm really not far along to be worrying like that at the moment" Brittany replies.
"Ok fine" I sigh. It's not going to stop me feeling how I am but I will keep my opinions to myself at the moment but the minute she does it when it's too much then I will tell her.
"So are we all ready to go home and get something to eat because I'm so hungry" Brittany says while taking Aiden's hand while I push the stroller. "Are you hungry Aid?" she asks as we make our way out of the hospital.
"I'm hungry, I want 3 pizzas" Aiden states.
"You're not having 3 pizzas sweetheart, that's far too much for a little stomach like yours" Brittany laughs.
"Can I still have pizza?" Aiden asks curiously while looking between Brittany and me. We were meant to have something different but maybe we could have pizza as a little treat because Aiden and Ella have both been so good at day-care all week.
"I don't see why not" I shrug while looking a Brittany. "It's Friday and we should all have a little treat tonight" I say.
"That's cool with me" Brittany smiles.
"Let's get home first then and get settled in and then I will order us some pizza" I say.
"No olives" Aiden states with a giggle.
"That's right buddy, we don't like olives on our pizza" I smile at him. "Olives aren't nice on pizza, are they?" I say.
"No" Aiden shakes his head. Any time Brittany or I order pizza, we always ask for no olives so Aiden always remembers that and finds it funny. It's actually really cute the things he remembers.
When we get to the car, we get the kids buckled in and drive off. Once we're back home, we get the kids settled and decide what kind of pizza we'd like. I order it and then we spend some time with the kids while we wait on it getting delivered to us.
"Hey, mommy and I want to show you both something" I say to Aiden and Ella as we sit on the floor playing with them.
"Ok" Aiden shrugs. Brittany then reaches over to her purse and pulls out the ultrasound picture before handing it to me. Brittany picked up the ultrasound picture after she finished work so this is the first time we're seeing it again since this morning. That's actually the reason why she was a bit later getting to the day-care this afternoon to meet us.
"Do you see those shapes there?" I ask Aiden as I show him the picture.
"Nope" Aiden shrugs.
"These faint little shadows here sweetheart, can you see that?" I ask while moving closer to him and pointing at the babies on the picture.
"No mom" Aiden states, beginning to get annoyed.
"Honey just leave it just now" Brittany tells me. "He obviously doesn't really understand right now but try again later maybe" she smiles at me.
"Yeah ok" I nod.
"I wouldn't mind taking another look at the little Lopez's" Brittany smiles again.
"Ok" I say excitedly while moving closer to Brittany and showing her the picture. "What kinds are they do you think, like boys or girls or one of each?" I ask curiously.
"I don't know babe but I was thinking that perhaps we should find out whenever we can because as much as I like surprises, I think we should have a chance to get organised before they come" Brittany points out.
"I agree" I nod. It would be nice to wait and find out on the day but since it's two babies then that's double the stress of rushing around at the last minute to buy things so if we have time to plan ahead then we can get their nurseries ready.
"I don't mind what the gender is but I think it might be nice if we have at least one boy because I sometimes feel bad for Aiden because he has a sister and two mothers so he's not really got any other male figures at home" Brittany replies.
"I know what you mean" I nod again. There's nothing wrong with our family setup and you don't need a man to have a complete family obviously but I think it would be nice for Aiden to at least have a brother to play with because he does like different things from Ella so sometimes they play on their own and I feel bad. They have little friends at day-care and all their cousins but it's different at home.
"I will be over the moon though if it is both girls because they're our children" she smiles.
"Exactly" I smile back.
"You'll just need to keep getting me pregnant until we finally have another boy" she jokes.
"Hey, no complaints here" I smirk. We continue to spend some time with the kids until the pizza arrives and then we sit down to eat. I don't want to spoil the kids but we thought it would be nice for them to have a treat once in a while so we're eating in the living room with them.
"Aiden please don't throw cheese to the floor. If it's too much on your pizza then take it off and put it to the side of your plate" Brittany tells Aiden.
"Ok mommy" Aiden smiles while doing as he's told.
After we put Aiden and Ella to bed, Brittany and I called our parents and told them the good news. We were planning on telling everyone after 12 weeks anyway but once we found out it was twins then we just wanted to tell them even more. We also phoned and told a few of our close friends as well and they were all really happy for us. Brittany and I are now just sitting in the living room together on the couch, enjoying some time together just the two of us.
"I'm just thinking babe, now that we're having 2 more kids instead of 1 then I think I'm ok with just that" I tell her.
"I sure hope you're ok with it babe because there's nothing I can do to stop it" she says laughing. "It's a bit late now to get nervous considering I'm already pregnant so you're going to have to be ok with twins and not just one baby" she adds.
"No that's not what I meant" I say while shaking my head. "We're going to have 4 children by the end of it so I think I'm ok with stopping there. I've always wanted what I had when I grew up and there were 4 of us kids so it seems kinda perfect to me for us to have 4."
"Oh…wow" Brittany says shocked.
"I mean we don't need to make it definite but I think 4 kids is a big enough family for me" I admit.
"Honey if this is because I'm always getting stressed out with my pregnancies then you don't need to make a decision like that. Being pregnant is not easy but it is so worth it in the end so please don't make a choice like that for me" Brittany replies.
"No, I'm not just doing it to make you feel better, I genuinely feel ok about it" I assure her.
"Ok" she smiles, satisfied with my answer.
"So how are you feeling about everything today?" I ask Brittany. We knew we were having another baby but now that it's twins then she might be getting a bit apprehensive like I am.
"I am super excited about it but also quite nervous" she admits.
"I know exactly what you mean" I tell her.
"By the end of the year, we're going to have 4 children under the age of 3" Brittany points out. "There could be some real stressful times" she adds.
"I know but it's you and I, we make like the best team ever so we'll cope" I smile. I am still nervous but I think we can handle this.

Saturday 25th February 2023
I woke up early this morning so I got up and checked on the kids. Ella was already awake when I got to her room so I lifted her out of bed and headed to Aiden's room. He was just wakening up when we got there so I gave him a minute to fully awake before the 3 of us headed downstairs. Brittany is still sleeping so I'm leaving her to rest while I make the kids some breakfast.
"So, did you both sleep good?" I ask Aiden and Ella.
"I dreamed" Aiden smiles at me while eating his fruit.
"Oh, what did you dream about buddy?" I ask curiously.
"I had a pet shark and it took me every where in the sea and we got to swim and visit fish all day" Aiden replies.
"Oh wow" I say surprised. I didn't expect him to say something like that.
"Can you and mommy get me pet shark?" he asks.
"Sharks aren't really pets sweetheart. They're actually kinda dangerous" I tell him. "You are getting a new brother or sister though in some months so you'll have them to play with."
"Ok" Aiden shrugs.
"Morning" Brittany smiles at me brightly as she walks into the kitchen.
"Morning" I smile back.
"Did you sleep well?" she asks me as she goes over to the kids and kisses them on the head.
"I slept great" I say while walking over to where she is now at the fridge getting some orange juice. "I kinda had a dream about you last night" I add.
"Sexy dream or cute dream?" she asks curiously.
"Sexy" I whisper in her ear.
"Dreams can come true so watch out" she smirks before going over to the coffee machine.
"Babe, I don't know if you should be having coffee" I say.
"I can have one cup a day but this isn't for me anyway. I'm making you some coffee" she smiles.
"Ok" I smile back.
"I made you coffee the day I met you so I'll keep making you coffee whenever I can. It's our little thing we have going" she tells me. I love that we try to have little traditions like that.
"Ok" I nod. "You do make the best coffee though, seriously" I tell her as she hands me a cup.
"Thank you" she says while sitting at the table with the kids. "So, when are you leaving today?" she asks as she takes a sip of her juice.
"In an hour or so" I reply. Quinn and I are taking all the kids out for the day today and when I say all the kids I mean practically all of them. We've got Aiden and Ella, Quinn's son Harry, my sister's daughter Olivia and my brother Eddie's son Logan. We did ask Emma if she wanted us to take Brooke as well but her daughter is only a few weeks old so she didn't feel ready for Brooke to be without her just yet.
"Ok" Brittany nods. "What are you doing with the kids?" she asks.
"We're actually taking them to the zoo" I say. It's going to fun and also challenging getting 5 toddlers to do as they're told but I'm looking forward to it. It'll also be good for me to get some practice with handling 4 or 5 kids for when the twins come along.
Once the kids finish eating breakfast and I get them ready as well as getting myself ready, the 3 of us leave. Even though I wish Brittany was coming since we don't get a lot of time together as we both work full time, I'm glad she's getting some time to herself. She deserves some time to do what she wants and just relax without having to run behind the kids because she's had a tough start to her pregnancy.
When I get to the zoo, Quinn is already there with the other three kids so we start off taking a walk around, seeing some of the animals the kids really wanted to see. We then went to see some of the water animals and watch a show put on with the dolphins. We're now all sitting at lunch together. The kids are all eating while Quinn and I are just chatting and catching up.
"So, twins, that's going to be interesting to handle" she smiles at me.
"I know but Aiden and Ella are already great kids so we'll manage" I say. "What about you, are you thinking of having any more kids?" I ask.
"I don't know" Quinn shrugs. "Jason and I haven't really discussed it so I don't really know."
"Maybe you should discuss it because you're not getting any younger Q" I tease.
"I'm the same age as you so I'm only 33 so I have plenty of time" Quinn replies.
"Not really because if you want a couple of kids then it'll take 9 months at a time" I point out.
"I know and maybe I will talk to your brother and see what he thinks. He is younger than me so is he going to want more kids right now, I mean he is only 25?" she asks.
"You just need to talk to him and find out. I mean Brittany isn't much younger than him and she's about to be a mother of 4" I reply. "She's a pretty damn good mother as well" I say, smiling at the thought of my amazing wife.
"Santana please" Quinn shakes her head at me. "I like Brittany and everything but this is best friend time. We don't need to dominate every conversation about how amazing your wife is. I mean next you'll be talking about your sex life or something" she states.
"Funny you say that actually because I had a pretty sexy dream about Brittany last night" I reply.
"I don't need to know that" Quinn says disgustedly.
"Ok fine, we can talk about something else" I tell her. "What would you like to talk about?" I ask.
"Anything that doesn't involve our relationships" she replies.
"Ok" I nod.

As soon as I got back home with Aiden and Ella, I put them down for a nap because they were so tired. All the kids seemed to enjoy themselves at the zoo but I think they all just got a bit too excited at times so by the time we got them all home, they were really exhausted. Aiden even fell asleep in the car ride home so I had to get Brittany to come out and help me inside to the house since I had to carry Aiden inside.
I'm just making myself some coffee right now and then I think I might start looking for some baby things online. We've got a lot of Aiden and Ella's old things that we could give to the new babies but they also need their own things too. I also need to think about how I want to decorate the nurseries for the babies and what furniture I need to buy for them.
"Hey" I smile at Brittany as she walks into the kitchen.
"Hi" she smirks as she turns me around and pushes me against the counter top. She then leans in and kisses me. "I missed you today when you were out."
"I missed you too" I smile.
"Since the kids are napping then maybe you and I can have some time together" she says while placing her hands on my hips.
"Brittany Pierce, don't you dare lift me up" I say seriously as I notice her about to lift me up onto the kitchen counter. I usually wouldn't object but she's pregnant so it's really not wise for her to do this.
"Way to spoil the mood Santana" she sighs.
"No heavy lifting please when you're pregnant" I tell her.
"You're not even heavy Santana" she shrugs.
"It's still unnecessary lifting though babe" I say before sliding onto the counter myself and pulling Brittany towards me. "Now come here so I can kiss you" I say while leaning down to kiss her. After a few seconds though, she pulls away.
"I can't reach you like this" she states. "I didn't exactly think this through very well, did I?" she asks while pointing to her stomach. It's sort of preventing her from getting as close to me as she would like especially with the kitchen counter in front of her too.
"I'll come to you" I say while sliding off the counter and putting my arms around her.
"Come to me or come for me?" she smirks.
"Brittany Pierce, you have a dirty mouth sometimes" I smirk back.
"Hey can you see this?" Brittany asks while pulling away slightly and holding up her left hand and pointing at her wedding ring.
"Yes" I reply confused.
"Do you remember that day we exchanged these rings?" she asks.
"Of course I do" I laugh. How could I forget my wedding when it was one of the best days of my life?
"And do you remember that was the first day I became Mrs Lopez?" she asks.
"Yeah" I nod.
"We can lose the Pierce then can't we?" she smirks at me.
"I'm sorry, it's just a force of habit when I do that" I smile. I love that she changed her name to Lopez but she was Pierce when I first met her so sometimes I will call her Pierce instead of Lopez by mistake. "Hey at least I still call you Brittany and not Jennifer" I tease.
"That's not a funny joke" Brittany rolls her eyes at me. "I would really hope you didn't confuse your current wife with your previous wife because I am nothing like her."
"You're so much better than her in every way" I smile.
"Am I better in bed than her?" she asks.
"Of course" I smile. "You're much better at cuddling then she ever was" I add.
"I meant am I better at sex than her" she clarifies.
"I know, I was just teasing" I laugh. "The sex with you is definitely better than it ever was with Jennifer. She was really lousy in bed and you are amazing" I say before kissing her.
"Ok but maybe I need to prove it to you right now just to solidify your opinion on the matter" she suggests.
"Yeah that is probably wise" I smirk.
"Let's go then" she says before pulling me upstairs to our bedroom.
Brittany's POV
Sunday 26th February 2023
Sundays are my favourite days of the week because I get to spend the whole day relaxing with Santana and the kids. Santana and I work Monday to Friday every day so the weekends are usually when we get to see each other more. I do like Saturdays but they're usually spent seeing other family or going to the grocery store but Sundays we can do what we want and not rush about and get stressed.
I'm just sitting in the living room just now with the kids watching them play on the floor together with Aiden's cars. The only reason Ella agreed to play with Aiden and his cars is because he promised he would go to her tea party with her later with their stuffed animals. I'm invited too as is Santana. Santana still isn't out of bed yet though because I thought it might be nice to let her sleep in for a change since she always gets up first with the kids.
"Do you want to race mommy?" Aiden asks while handing me his pink car.
"Ok" I smile while taking the car. Santana already has the track set up from last night so it's all ready to go. "Ella are you racing too?" I ask her.
"Yess mommy" Ella nods her head while holding up Aiden's blue car.
"I'm red" Aiden says, letting Ella and I know which colour of car he has.
"Shall we count to three together to start?" I ask. Aiden is good at numbers already and Ella is beginning to learn the small ones.
"Ok" Aiden nods. We all then count to three and then start racing our cars. I'm just in the lead when Santana walks into the room in her pyjamas while yawning causing me to get distracted. She takes a seat on the arm of the chair I'm sitting on and rubs my back soothingly. This whole thing then causes Aiden and Ella to overtake me and battle it out for first place.
"Thanks Santana" I mutter when I come in last.
"What did I do?" she asks laughing before leaning down to kiss me.
"You distracted me and then I lost concentration of the race" I reply.
"I'm so sorry that I am so beautiful that I cause you to take your eye off the ball" she tells me.
"Firstly, we were racing cars so there were no balls involved and secondly, I wasn't distracted because of how you look. I was distracted because I wondered what you were up to. You usually make yourself a coffee before you do anything so I was surprised you came here first" I reply to Santana.
"Are you saying I'm not hot in the mornings?" she questions amusingly.
"Of course not and you do still take my breath away but at this moment this morning, I was just curious what you were doing" I say. "Like I say, coffee is usually the first stop in the morning."
"No, my family come before coffee in the morning" she says before kissing me again and then going over to the kids and kissing them on the head.
"Ok fair enough" I smile. It's unreal just how much I love this woman and how amazing she really is.
"Come to tea party?" Ella asks Santana while following her to the couch and climbing on to sit next to her.
"I would love to come to your tea party, when is it?" Santana asks.
"Later" Ella states. "Mommy said breakfast first" she adds.
"Yes, I think we should all have something to eat before we do anything because breakfast is the most important meal of the day" I say.
"How does everyone feel about pancakes" Santana asks.
"Pancakes! Pancakes! Pancakes!" Aiden yells excitedly while running around the room.
"Ok that's a yes from Aiden" Santana laughs. "What about you honey?" she asks Ella.
"Pwease mom" Ella nods her head and smiles at Santana.
"Ok and what about you Britt?" Santana asks me.
"I'd love pancakes" I smile.
"That's settled then. I'll go and make us some pancakes" Santana says while heading to the kitchen.
"Mommy will be right back, ok?" I say to Aiden and Ella before quickly going to the kitchen to see Santana for a second. "Morning" I say to Santana as I walk over to her before kissing her passionately.
"Someone is in a good mood this morning" she smiles at me.
"I am" I smile back. "I have no morning sickness anymore so I can kiss you whenever I want and I'm also feeling really good about last night with the numerous orgasms."
"I do aim to please" Santana smirks. "I'm feeling pretty refreshed myself this morning" she says while wrapping her arms around me.
"Babe I can't stay long because the kids are alone in the living room" I say regrettably as she pulls me closer to her.
"Ok well when the kids have their afternoon nap then can we get some special time together?" she asks.
"100% for sure" I smile. "Anyway, I need to get back to them but call me if you need any help with breakfast and we'll all come through."
"Ok" she smiles before kissing my cheek. I then leave the kitchen and head back to the living room to watch the kids. Once breakfast is ready, Santana helps me get the kids to the kitchen and get them settled into their seats to eat.
"There you go babe" I say while putting some coffee down in front of Santana before pouring some juice for myself and milk for Aiden and Ella.
"Thank you" Santana winks at me. I then take a seat next to Santana and Aiden and we all begin eating.
"Breakfast is really good Santana so thank you" I smile at her.
"You're welcome" she smiles.
"Yummy mom" Aiden tells Santana and Ella nods her head in agreement.
"I'm glad you like it sweetheart and you too honey" she says smiling at the kids. After we're all finished eating, we all clear up and then spend some time together.
"Tea party" Ella yells in excitement as she lines up her and Aiden's stuffed toys next to Santana and me on the couch. "Aiden sit" she states.
"Honey we say things a little nicer to Aiden" I tell her.
"Sorry" Ella mumbles. "Pwease Aiden sit" she says while gently nudging him to sit in between Santana and me. She then places some toy cups in front of the stuffed teddies and dolls before handing Santana, Aiden and me a cup each.
"Thank you" I smile at my daughter. She is so unbelievably cute right now.
"I serve tea" Ella says before pouring some pretend tea into our cups from her toy teacup.
"This tastes really good sweetheart" I tell her.
"I always thought I served the best air when I was little but it's definitely Ella" Santana states.
Santana's POV
Saturday 4th March 2023
I'm looking forward to today because Brittany and I get to spend some time together, just the two of us because the kids are staying with Brittany's parents for the day and then overnight. I do love having the kids to spend my weekends with but it's nice every once in a while to get to spend it with just Brittany. I'm not sure what we're going to do yet but it'll be nice whatever we do.
I've already gave the kids something to eat this morning so I'm finally sitting down myself now to eat something. Brittany wasn't hugely hungry so she just had some fruit as she helped Ella eat breakfast. She's now packing an overnight bag for the kids as I sit at the table and eat.
"Do you want to take teddy bear Santana to gran and grandpa Pierce's house?" Brittany asks Aiden but he doesn't reply, he just keeps staring at me. "Aiden, do you want to take Santana with you tonight?" she asks again but he still doesn't answer.
"Mommy is talking to you" I tell Aiden but he just keeps staring at me. "Aiden!" I say while laughing. He still doesn't answer, he just walks closer to the table and climbs onto the chair next to me.
"Buddy what are you doing?" Brittany asks him.
"Can I have some?" Aiden asks me, his eyes never leaving the bagel I'm eating.
"I made you some breakfast earlier" I tell him.
"No, you didn't" Aiden shakes his head at me.
"Yes, I most certainly did" I laugh. "Are you still hungry?" I ask him. He clearly was too invested in what I was eating to register the fact Brittany was asking him a question.
"Yeah" he nods his head while reaching forward to place his hand on top of mine. "Please mom" he says smiling at me.
"You can have one bite but I don't think you'll like it" I say.
"Ok" he replies before leaning closer to me and taking a bite out of my bagel. He chews it for a moment before spitting it out onto the plate.
"I told you you wouldn't like it" I say while chuckling.
"Doughnut not nice" Aiden says while glaring at my bagel.
"It's not a doughnut buddy, it's a bagel" I tell him. "It's not meant to be sugary" I add.
"Me don't like" Aiden says while still continuing to glare at my breakfast.
After I finish eating and Brittany finishes getting the kids things together, we all sit down and spend some time together until Karen and James arrive. They arrive just before lunchtime so once the kids leave, Brittany and I take some time to ourselves to shower and do what we need to do before having lunch together. I'm just clearing away our lunch dishes after having a late lunch when Brittany spins me around and kisses me.
"I want you so bad right now" Brittany tells me as she unzips my jeans.
"Britt we…"
"No excuses, please can we just do this" she says impatiently. "The kids aren't here right now and like I say, I want you so bad."
"Ok" I smile while leaning in to kiss her. After kissing for a moment or so, I pull away. "The kitchen isn't the best place for this so how about we head upstairs" I suggest. I really don't think my pregnant wife is going to be particularly comfortable in the kitchen plus it's not really wise to do it in here.
"Good idea" she smiles before leading me upstairs. We're barely in bed and undressing when the doorbell rings and someone knocks at the door, interrupting us.
"Ignore it" I say while leaning down to kiss Brittany again. Whoever it is can wait because I have more important things to do with my day.
"Ok" Brittany smiles. I'm just kissing down her body when the doorbell rings again and the knocking continues. "Fuck, whoever that is just won't quit, will they?" Brittany states annoyed.
"Let me just get rid of them because I really can't do this with this interruption" I say.
"Yeah the sooner we answer, the sooner they leave" Brittany nods. I quickly throw a bathrobe on and head downstairs to answer the door while Brittany remains in bed.
"Quinn, I'm kinda busy right now" I say opening the door to my best friend. I don't know why she's here and I don't mean to be rude but I'd like her to leave
"I need to talk to you" she states.
"Ok well like I say I'm busy right now but I'll call you tonight and we can have a good catch up" I smile.
"No, I really need to talk to you right now" she states.
"Quinn, you're my best friend and I want to help but I can't right now. I do promise to call you later though" I assure her.
"Please Santana, I really need my best friend right now" she sighs.
"Quinn…"
"Honey who is it?" Brittany asks, walking down the stairs in her robe.
"It's Quinn" I reply while opening the door a little wider as Brittany stands next to me.
"Hey Quinn" Brittany smiles.
"Oh wow, you two are…"
"Yes, we are" I nod.
"It's like 2 in the afternoon" Quinn states.
"I know what time it is but you have a son. You know how hard it can be to have alone time with your partner so you need to take it when you can" I state.
"I think a little afternoon delight is refreshing" Brittany smiles as she wraps her arms around me and kisses the side of my head.
"Yeah I really should go now" Quinn states. She says goodbye and then leaves. Meanwhile Brittany and I rush back upstairs and get reacquainted in bed.
