It's Brittany Bitch-

I'm back! After a year or so away! Sorry about the delay, but there was some major life changes that happened along the way. I'm in school, still ¬¬...and also I moved over to Japan for a job, and it was a permanent move! A lot of things were just happening at once, and now that I'm settling in and finding that I have A LOT more free time, I thought it was time to go back to writing! Here a chapter for you all, I hope I haven't gotten too rusty at this thing. ^^

Enjoy!

Penny talks like this: "Take me to your leader..."

Warnings: Violence, that's it.

Sir

Chapter 17

Crazy Is Is what Crazy Does

I let out a sound as the car sped down the road, my face set and Penny resting in a cup holder. This was a suicide mission. I couldn't believe that I was listening to a super iPhone and going head first into danger. As I drove, I recalled the conversation Penny and I had before we left.

"Are you sure this person has Heidi?" I looked down at the phone and then up to my car's console, watching as the screen flickered several times and 0's and 1's filled the screen, "You have to be sure, Penny."

"If it was possible, I would be 1000 percent sure that this person has my Mama," Penny responded, sounding insulted, "I would have to come to you earlier, Stephanie, but I had to dig through encrypted files, corrupted files and files that were shredded. I also has to illegally enter some databases to find more data as well."

"Well, as long as you're sure, Heidi is where you say she is," I sighed as the car revved to life, "What did you do to my car?"

"I turned off all five of the GPS systems that are on this car and turned off the tracker as well," Penny made it sound like she just unplugged the TV and not several security programs, "That will prevent those men from coming to find us."

"I wish you'd let me tell someone, this seems like it's a suicide mission!" I voiced as the car began to drive itself, "Penny! What are you doing?"

"Driving, you will only add to the arrival time, I will direct us on the most efficient route, bypass all security points and go above the speed limit," Penny huffed as she had the car zooming out of the community and down the street.

"Carlos is going to be so mad at the both of us, he's going to kill us!" I sighed, leaning back in the seat.

"He will be busy for the next few hours," Penny quipped, "Too busy trying to find out why all his clients' systems were hit at once, that will buy us plenty of time to rescue my mama."

Penny had voiced, several times, her displeasure of Diesel, Sir and Mr. Evanston.

"My trust in these men is still at a zero, if it were possible for my trust and hope in them would be digging its way to the middle of the earth. They have messed up too many times, it's time I fix their mistakes…and mine."

I can't believe Heidi gave this super computer a personality.

The scenery was quickly changing from the city to towns, from towns to small little villages and then nothing but woods. True to her word, Penny was like a speed demon, making twists and turns that gave me grey hairs and had me praying to whomever. What might have been a 4 hour drive turned into a two hour drive. I had no idea where we were and that's what scared me the most.

"How did you figure out that it was this person who kidnapped Heidi," I asked, looking down at the picture.

"Simple, I am a computer, a computer that was made to solve problems. The problem I was looking at did not make sense, so I did some exploration and found that the problem was missing a few variables. Once I found the variables, and put them in their proper places, the problem became easy to solve." Penny did a sharp turn down a hill and onto a dirt road, take me into the woods, "Stephanie…"

I let out a grunt as the car stopped suddenly and I found myself looking at a simple cabin from a distance. Why didn't she get closer? It looked like a half mile walk!

"We are here, do be careful, and take the gun in your glove compartment," Penny whispered (why was she whispering?) as she turned off the car.

I grabbed said gun from the glove compartment and put Penny in my back pocket and climbed out the car.

"I am sorry I couldn't get any closer, this area is heavily monitored and controlled," Penny piped up, "I found a blind spot, but you must listen to me very carefully, Stephanie. One wrong move and we're going to have problems, keeping walking until I tell you to stop."

I continued forward through the woods, holding penny close to my chest as I shuffled along. This was like walking through a mine field, and I sure as hell didn't want to trip on a mine, whatever it may be.

"Stop," Penny had me stopping short, "Turn right-no your right, go slow," I did what Penny told me to do and continued on, "Now, turn and walk forward."

I continued listening to Penny's command until I was close to the cabin, once I got closer to the cabin, something strange happened.

"Now, I need for you to go-" Penny started but then stopped, "Someth-E-w-Protocol Red initiated-Step-ha-"

I looked down at Penny's screen, watching it blink several red several times, the words 'PROTOCOL RED' flashing on the screen, "Penny!, Penny!"

"E-M-" Penny started but then went dead, her screen blank. Shit! Oh no, what would happen now?

I looked around wildly, letting out a sound of worry. I don't know what's going to happen now that Penny wasn't here to help me. I knew most likely, that I would make the wrong move, take the wrong step and who knows what in the hell would happen.

"Fuck," I hissed as I took one step forward. I knew I took the wrong step. I was expecting sirens, red lights, something loud and flashy. What I wasn't expecting was a shock that ran through me and had be stunned. The next think I knew I was falling forward on the grass, seizing up, my muscles spasming from the shock. As I lay on the ground, twitching, I saw, with my hazy vision, a pair of black shoes and then nothingness, as I finally blacked out.

"All of the accounts, at once," I looked at the screens with Lester, watching as they flashed red, "Brown, what are the statuses?"

"There's nothing going on, I called every single client, there's nothing on their end," Bobby's voice drifted through the speakerphone, "They're not getting the same thing, this is only on our end."

"Hector's looking at the systems right now, it's not making sense," Tank walked into the office, "Something tipped off all the system, but he can't find it, is someone hacking our servers?"

"Impossible, Heidi put up the security around our system, they're sealed up tightly, she even tested them several times," I looked from Tank and back to the screens, "Do a mass reboot, and see if that works."

I was frustrated with all that was going on. With Heidi still missing for almost three weeks, her father and Diesel were getting desperate, looking for anything at all. I was too, I knew that if we found her, she most likely will be dead. It wasn't fair, she didn't do anything, her kidnapping her suffering was the by-product of a man's burnt ego.

I had been on the way to a buddy of mine to see if they could help in the search of Heidi when I got a call from Tank, regarding the system for Rangeman. It was impossible for the servers and the system to crash and glitch like they were, Heidi redid the whole server and added layers of new security. Despite Frederick's displeasure of me dropping everything to save my lively hood, I went to Rangeman to figure out what was going on. Babe would meet me at Rangeman later for lunch, she told me she had things to do. Today has been one giant clusterfuck and I just wanted it done.

"It's all internal," Hector looked up from the screen, frowning, "Who ever did this, has full access to the system."

I sighed and then shook my head, which Rangeman was out to get me. Once I figured out-

"PROTOCOL RED, PROTOCOL RED!" I looked up watching as all the screens on the wall turned black with red words 'PROTOCOL RED' flaring on them. I looked up hearing confused voice and saw that all the screens, even the TV screens were flashing the words. The screen began to flicker white and as it did, a GPS map popped up with a single red dot flashing on it.

"Bossman," I turned as Lester looked hard at the screen, "It's a location in the mountains of Maryland, close to the West Virginia border, in some woods."

He had his phone out and was looking at the location, "Yup, a lumber town, what in the fuck is going on?"

I had this bad feeling brewing in my stomach. I called Hal, "Give me a location on Stephanie," This bad feeling always came when I knew Stephanie was in trouble.

"Not getting anything boss, everything is off, even the back up tracker," That had my blood running cold. No..

"Check the house," I started, "Contact her friends, anyone, prepare a team, I think Stephanie is sending us an SOS."

"Bossman, no signs of Stephanie at the house, friends say they haven't seen her at all today," Lester comes over to me, "What is she doing in Maryland-you don't think…Heidi?"

She shut off her trackers, or they went offline on their own. She's several hours away from home in the middle of no where and for what reason. She must have found Heidi.

"Call the team together, I have to make some calls, we leave in 10 minutes, lets go!" I grab my phone and make a call, "Diesel, I think Heidi's been located, but we have to move fast."

Hang on Babe, I'm coming.

(~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~)

"Penny, wake up penny…" I whispered, trying to get the phone to work again, "Shit…"

I turn it over and pop open the back and curse, seeing fried circuits and wires. What in the hell happened to her? Better yet, what happened to me? I remember walking up to the cabin and then I was shocked and then woke up in an empty bedroom. When I tried to touch the windows to escape, I got another shocking. Whoever this psycho is I'm going to shock them in return.

Fuckers…

I now leaned against the wall, looking down at Penny's fried wires. What in the hell happened? Now here I was without any help, in the middle of fucking Deliverance, most likely waiting for my death. I hope Sir arrives soon to save the day.

I looked up, hearing the door open and then a person walked in, a person who had my jaw dropping. Shit, Penny was right.

"No way, no way, You were-he fired you!" I looked up at the sneering face of Christopher as he walked into the room, "You gave us evidence against him!"

"I did, I was hoping he'd be jailed but him offing himself was even better than him spending time in jail," Christopher looked down at me, tilting his head, "What am I to do with you?"

"Where's Heidi? I know you have her, you sick son of a bitch, if you touched her-" I started, standing up but Christopher laughed, he fucked laughed right in my face.

"I assure you, Miss. Plum, that Heidi's virtue, or lack thereof is still in tack, I am a gay man," Christopher stared me down, his eyes wild, "I just want her brain, as we speak, she's securing me things I've never dreamed of, money, political power-Oh, I see you're not convinced, let me take you to her, I'll show you that she's still in one piece."

He held his hand out for me to take but I refused and stood on my own. I was grabbed by my arm and had to let out a gasp of pain. When did he get so strong? Last time I saw him, he was being pushed around by Vincent.

"It's to keep you safe, mind you, intruders in my home face a shocking ending," Chris dragged me out of the room and into a short hallway, leading me over to a steel enforced door, "You wouldn't want to die, would you? Two shocks may make your heart skip a beat but several more shocks? I don't think you want to find out what happens, do you?"

He wasn't lying, I didn't want to find out, so I let him drag me over to the door. He opened it with a series of codes and scans and then we were walking downstairs and into the most high tech basement I've ever seen. Screens covered one wall and on the next wall were giant servers, all attached to heavy duty cables that were attached to other machines. Numbers and figures flew across some of the screens as did words. As I looked at the walls and all the machine, I turned and zeroed in on a figure in the middle of it all, typing away on a keyboard.

Oh gods, Heidi, what did he do to you?

Heidi was sitting there, typing away, her eyes never leaving the screen. She seemed to be chained to the chair she was sitting, chained by her feet and her middle. This sick fucker! She an I.V. attached to her and a tube went up her nose, she looked utterly exhausted , her eyes had large bags under them and she was swaying slightly. She looked as though she had lost some weight in the last few weeks as well. She looked like a robot, she didn't even flinch when Christopher dragged me over to her.

"She's as docile as a puppy," He ran his hand on top of Heidi's head, " Of course, I had to put an I.V. and a feeding tube in her, eating and staying hydrated only gets in the way of things, she's my busy little bumble bee…She won't even make a noise if I were to shock her, she's trained so well, watch."

I let out a cry of terror and shock as he smacked Heidi across the face so hard, I heard her neck crack from the force of it as her head was whiplashed. Instead of screaming or crying as I would have done, if someone had hit me that hard, she lifted her head up, placed her hands back on the keyboard and continued typing away, ignoring the blood dripping from her nose and mouth. She hadn't even let out a single sound.

"Trained, so very well trained," Christopher laughed, shaking his bruised hand, "Did you see the way she took that slap, I-"

"You-you were the one, when she was 21, to kidnap her and train her!" I looked over to him and away from Heidi's poor state, "You sic-"

"Me? Oh no, Miss. Plum, I did not kidnap her, that was all Vincent's doing," Christopher sighed, shaking his head and leading me over to a chair, making me sit, "Sit down and please, don't move, or the security system will kill you on the spot."

I licked my lips and watched him as he began to pace, "I have a story to tell you, about Heidi, her father and Vincent, may he never rest in peace."

"Vincent was not only a cruel man, he was a vengeful man as well, when things didn't go his way, well, let's just say, it got a bit hairy for the poor souls in his way. Frederick Evanston, was one of those poor souls. Vincent and he were on the cusps of making a deal that would have earned Vincent billions of dollars, billions of Frederick's hard earned money mind, oh yes, do cover your mouth, Vincent was trying to rob the man of most of his fortune. I am sure you are aware of Vincent and how he behaved. Anyways, Frederick caught wind of Vincent's schemes and, instead of doing it behind closed doors, like gentlemen do, Frederick decided to expose Vincent's schemes publicly, during an international benefit. Oh, Vincent was livid and humiliated, of course and at the very moment he swore he would take what Frederick cherished the most, right from under his nose, his precious heiress and daughter, Heidi."

I watched as Christopher went over to Heidi and touched her painfully thin shoulder, "He planned it out so thoroughly, he would kidnap her, he knew of people from the underground who trained girls from rich families to become perfect spouses, perfect pets and arranged for them to kidnap her and to train her, for as long as it took, until her mind snapped in two. He would then take her as his own, lock her away in one of his many island villas and well, you know, do heterosexual things to her until he got bored and sold her to some rich Eastern Europeans."

Christopher ran a hand down Heidi's hair and smiled, "But he hadn't counted on one thing, her mind. But I saw it, I saw that mind of her, I saw what lay beneath the surface. She is gifted, She was at school for computer science, she was doing things that no one had even dreamt of, she was changing the very definition of technology and she knew how to crack codes to get things that people could only dream of!"

He gave me a look, "I asked Vincent to spare her from such torturous activities, she was worth more to us sane than insane. Vincent didn't care for it, he didn't see the bigger picture, I did! For three years, I waited. I watched as they tortured her, shocked her, whipped her, water boarded her, breaking her bit by bit. I knew I had to wait for the perfect moment to save her from that torture, too soon she wouldn't be as trained but too late and she would have been useless to me. I freed her from the prison they kept her in and was about to take her as my own, but that-man found her first and took her back to her father and well, you know the rest, but now she's back, she's here with me and as we speak she is getting access to the codes I need."

"She wouldn't have come willingly," I looked at the crazed man, "She would have fought you."

"She did fight me, but, because of her past training, with just the right techniques, she was docile again. That kind of training, sticks to a person, no matter how deep they try to bury it, it always stays with them, because it's hot wired in the neurons, though this time, it might be hard to get her back, but oh well, she's no use to me with a free will, now, Stephanie, are you ready?"

"Ready for what?" From the look in his eyes, nothing good was about to happen.

"For the revolution that I will usher in?" Christopher laughed and turned to Heidi, "Oh, Heidi, darling, be a dear and turn on the NSA's EMP device, let's bring the US down to its knees and back into the dark ages, shall we?"

Fuck…this man was crazy…and I was in the front row seat for his insanity.

TBC…

So many things revealed! What's an EMP, will Carlos and Co. get there in time, will I ever stop sounding like I'm an announcer at the end of a cliffhanger episode?! Stay tune for next week's episode of Sir 2: Electric Boogaloo!

Tell me whatcha think? ^^
