Chapter 19: Third steps to the Small World…plus Movie night!

A/N: I will now stand tall with my head high as you guys throw tomatoes and rotten eggs at me for having been gone too long. As compensation enjoy this long chappy. And I hope you guys like the movie night!

Orlando International Airport- Florida

The stars shined across the now dark skies of the Earth. The airport chimed with life despite the night no longer being young. In the deep concrete tunnels, far from several other vehicles rested Maria's car. The brunette having already made the designated payment to allow the Equinox to be parked there for the days to come. The back door was open with Natasha and Kara's clothes and shoes carefully and gently being packed into the metallic containers. The redhead taking over and properly positioned the expensive PRADA dresses she bought.

"Nat." Maria called from around the corner as she shut the front side door. She came around holding the familiar metal box that a certain drone had given them. The prism immediately catching Kara's eye. "It's time."

The Russian gave a firm nod before closing and securing the straps of the cases. "Here." She pattered the top of hers.

The executive firmly placed the box down and spun it to face all three, she effortlessly pressed the worldwide icon. Both older women watching with pride as the keys to their adventure were presented after the hologram. Kara leaning in to awe the bulky bracelets. Maria went first and picked the one with her name on it, feeling its odd texture for the first time. She silently searched for the buckle that could be seen on all common Magic Bands but all she could find was a smaller glowing button, the same to the shine of the Arc Reactor. With one flicking touch half of the band retracted inwards on itself, revealing it to be another brilliant piece of tech courtesy of Tony Stark. Fully knowing how it worked now Maria clasped her SI Magic band on her left wrist and watched it close around her limb with the satisfying sound of mechanical hydraulics at work.

"Not exactly a Common Band." Natasha retorted as she grabbed Kara's, the girl offering her wrist in anticipation. The Black Widow was the last to clasp her own down, this time all three of theirs coming to life with the sound of Iron Man's repulsors charging before fire along with the Arc Reactor on the center top glowing brighter than ever. Natasha turned to her Girlfriend to find Maria holding her phone out.

"It's done." The brunette referred to syncing the bands to the App.

They worked together to get all their belongings off the car followed by Maria shutting and locking all doors with her keys. This was it. The Express Bus was within their reach, on the other end of the facility. Kara rightfully took her luggage by the pulling handle and walked along with her caretakers. She eyed the cerulean vehicle over her shoulder, apparently, they were leaving it behind now.

"C'mon." Natasha interrupted her thoughts. "We'll come back for it." she nudged her Baby girl in between them again, the sound of the small wheels on their luggage echoing in the tunnels.

Within minutes they found themselves walking into the indoor terminals. People and families going about in different directions determined to either catch their flights or leave the airport. Maria cautiously taking the lead for the other two to follow correctly. All while the young blonde visually absorbing where she was. When they drove here from the open fields Kara had quickly learned that this was the main deck for all Aerial modes of transportation to take off and land. The massive vessels that had come and gone were easily seen to her whether the skies were dark or not. But despite her interest the Kryptonian could only internally pray that Maria was not leading them towards these vessels. This place was more of a command center, with security and officials stationed in certain areas taking precaution in case any incident were to break out. She could not afford to be identified by the public now. Not while her family along with her still had intentions of reaching the beautiful Palace.

"The Express is in Terminal B." they all stopped with Maria pulling her shades off her forehead to stick them in a pocket of her jacket.

Natasha helped her Girlfriend read multiple maps that were along the walls. "We need to take the Monorail."

With that, Kara hid her sigh of relief as they walked further away from the Officials, mostly since she didn't want to bother Maria, who's stern concentrated glare looked like it couldn't afford to be disturbed along with Natasha. After passing busy as ever inhabitants and enjoying the lifted aid of the metal escalators they stopped in front of what could only be shuttled doors in Kara's estimation. Within minutes the vibrations were heard, and the large sleek vessel arrived on the spot to pick up its passengers. Another vessel that the Kryptonian easily identified.

A Monorail! It rested on metallic railings connected around the facility, but it was still a Monorail.

The three casually stepped in, quickly picking seats that rested on the sides near the windows, but they decided to still stand and admire the nightly atmosphere of the airport. Lucky for them not many were on the advanced bus.

"Almost there." Natasha assured with a whisper. The girl doing nothing but keeping her luggage close to her legs as they were transported to Terminal B.

The moment they stepped out it was a whole other scene. They passed under the big letter down another escalator but what met them were dozens of active waiting lines composed of families and children who were either whining, crying, or simply tired that they were up and about at this hour. Other ones were simply young to middle aged adults who could be identified as couples or groups of friends who also planned a getaway from the busy life. Maria carefully eyed the signs written above.

Just their luck, the Disney's Contemporary Resort had very few people.

"And to think I would've chosen The Polynesian Village for our stay." The Avenger perked with a devilish smirk.

The properly dressed woman at the reception looked tired but still eager to do her job when the trio arrived at the desk. "Name Mam." She asked the brunette.

Before Maria could answer, the Mickey icon used to scan Magic Bands flared loudly with the chime of Tinker Bell's pixie dust before opening, revealing it had a hidden compartment that only specific associates and cast members knew of with the Stark Industries Logo. Maria's Band had been detected. Remembering how the device worked from the video guides, Maria pulled her fist inwards and allowed her exclusive band to touch the symbol that Kara couldn't sworn looked identical to the one on her wrist.

What a surprise that the intro Guitar solo to Black Sabbath's "Iron Man", played in confirmation before the metal plating separated into three parts closed. The life returned to the woman's eyes.

"Beckett." Maria spoke with certain and her chin up.

The woman typed away at the monitor. Her face glowing more with each click. "You must be the Becketts! We've been expecting your arrival." She came around the corner to politely shake the Executive's hand. "It's an honor to have you here Mam."

Maria nodded at her professionalism. "If you can make it happen my family and I would like to get on our ride to the Resort, please forgive us we almost fell behind schedule."

"Not to worry Mam the Bus will be leaving in about twenty minutes from now." she went back around to her desk. "Once you scan your Bands. You will need to head down to the parking station on the right. the signs above will tell you which Bus to get on. There the duo Drivers will help board your luggage."

The brunette's lip curled up for the receptionist and slipped her a fifty-dollar bill. "Thank you."

"Thank you, Mam. Having a wonderful stay at the Contemporary Resort." Kara was next to scan hers. "Enjoy Cutie." The blonde only nodded with a smile not once making eye contact.

This time all three scurried to the parking lot with the sounds of Bus engines growing louder. Some were even leaving while others were arriving to retire for the night.

The redhead's eye caught the "Last Trip", label. The Bus rested in all its shining 1930's appearance glory. Its bottom side doors were lifted ready to hold all traveling luggage. One of the drivers smiled and side stepped to allow them to board the bus all while the second one got to work with safely hiding the cases underneath the transporter. Kara's stare stretched to the back of the Bus before Maria claimed the very front left seat near the window. She pulled Kara's hand prompting the girl to sit in her lap, Natasha sitting on the outer seat to place her Malysh's legs in her own lap. Avril fiddled with the strap and case around her neck to pull out the Camera. With a flick of her thumb the chime was heard and aimed it down the hallway of the Bus.

"Entry vlog #2, we're on the Magical Express." The brunette twisted the camera back just as other passengers started getting on. "In just an hour or more we'll finally settle down in our room." She recorded the redhead resting her head on a shoulder with the blonde placing hers on the other. The video unfortunately had to come to an interrupting end as they finally realized everyone laid in their seats.

The designated Driver spoke over the mic for everyone to settle down and get comfortable. He voiced the specific instructions from memory and ignited the engines to full capacity. The side doors sliding down with a loud chirm issuing Kara to look out the window as the vehicle began to move.

"Yes." Avril pecked Logan's temple and whispered in her ear. "Here we Go."

The long ride sure lived up to its name for most of the people on the blue and yellow bus. The seemingly open fields they kept passing contributed to the boredom. Not even the television screens built into the ceilings were on. Just as someone grew the audacity to yell from the back the microphone came back on along with the lights.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. If you would please gear your attention to the windows as we enter the one and only Walt Disney World Resort!" he claimed with shine as everyone stirred in their seats. Just as the Driver promised the bus slightly slowed down due to other vehicles in front of it as the billboards of Mickey and Minnie showed through the Palm trees followed by the massive colorful sign that still glowed in the dark atmosphere. This was enough to get everyone to cheer out loud including the children that had woken up. Avril quickly raising the Camera and took multiple none flash shots of the incredible logo.

"Where dreams come true." Natasha read out loud as she looked at the blonde. Kara having a look that read silent shock.

"Natasha…Maria…" her words came in low in disbelief.

The Avenger reached with a hand to stroke her cheek. "Welcome Kara."

"Now please remain seated, we will arrive at your destination in approximately 45 minutes." Lucky for the Driver, he didn't kill the mood since everyone was now wide awake, determined to record or catch a glimpse at something Magical since they were now within the two Manhattan Islands long perimeter.

Kara could not contain her excitement as she wiggled her Booted feet hanging off a little in the hallway. She too continuously glimpsed out the glass view from time to time. Where was the Palace? She wanted to see it!

"Look!" Avril patted Logan's shoulder to get her away from the window. "Logan look!" the sight made the small girl bring a palm to her mouth."

As the vehicle got closer the bigger the extravagant building resembling a Trapezoid Prism got. It wasn't the Palace, but Kara was not disappointed. She paid little attention to the smaller building neighboring it. The lights built onto the structure almost made it seem like a monument of sorts. Metallic and cement railways connected from one side to the other, which seemingly spread out to the horizons, or at least to her vision.

"Alright everyone, we have arrived to, The Contemporary Resort located on the shores of Bay Lake, one of the first two original Hotels built and opened with the Magic Kingdom in 1971." The Driver drove through the traffic into the lane that would lead to the drop off area around the hotel. "Please remember to meet at this exact location when you have reached your Journey's End. Thank you for your patience. Have Fun, make Memories, and enjoy your stay." All passengers clapped loudly and gathered their onboard belongings. Kara could not help but give her own little clap of her hands.

The older women waited for everyone to get off until it was just them three. Kara was the first of them to step off as Maria purposely got off last to leave two fifty-dollar bills for each driver despite how one sat near the stair way out the whole time, he did however help with everyone's bags.

The Kryptonian ignored the inhabitants that went around her as they grabbed what was theirs. Her head remaining up not being able to tear her gaze from the hotel. With a clear from Natasha's throat the blonde reached to grab her case and tugged it with her, scurrying to a random direction in the parking lot. The brunette was on her toes to seize her by the shoulders.

"We get it." she chuckled softly. "Your excited, but you don't exactly know the way around, do you?"

"By Rao Maria, this Lodging is beautiful." The former commander placed a finger on her daughter's lips.

"This way Missy." She took her wheeled cases that were stacked on one another from her Girlfriend who had brought them in her other hand and the little family followed Maria to the main central entrance that would lead to the lobby. Even the older women had to take in the internal view at this point. The lobby looked so much better than it did in most of the guides they watched. Another Christmas tree shined for Kara to admire with glee in the corner. To the former Agent's internal surprise several people were waiting for them at the reception desk. Four individuals, three dressed in attire that indicated they were of room service and house keeping while the one who stood out was a well-dressed bearded man in a dark suit with an elegant gold tie.

As the gap closed Natasha let her Girlfriend assess the situation while instinctively pulling Kara close to her with her free hand. Their hunch was confirmed the more they studied the Man's features. Joe Kennedy, Manager of the Hotel and Room Operations. He stepped forward with his broad smile.

"Ms. Beckett." He greeted with his outstretched hand.

"Mr. Kennedy." Maria shook it firmly.

"I'm glad your family along with yourself made it safely Mam."

"Thank you." her Girlfriend and daughter stood behind her, the blonde avoiding their stares as the redhead griped her small sleeve covered palm. "By any chance can we get checked in as soon as possible?"

"Not to worry Mam, here at the Contemporary Resort we are instructed to give Mr. Stark's Executives the best care and assistance, we have your suite ready and these fine gentlemen will gladly take your luggage if you allow them."

Maria agreed and with the aid of Natasha they convinced Kara to simply let go of her carrier as the cast members took them away quickly on a rack stroller. The brunette worked with the Manager and receptionists behind the desk to officially check her family in.

The elevator chimed to let them all step out, indicating that they were now on the highest floor of the building. Joe confidently walked them through the hall to a certain centered double door with no locks on it whatsoever except for the handles and a Mickey Icon. The workers who had brought their luggage had already set them down by the door and bowed politely to be dismissed by the Manager. Avril stopped them to hand them each a Ulysses Bill, ending their night on a good note.

Joe straightened his tie. "If you will Ms. Beckett." He referred to the Mickey Icon.

Just like back at the airport, the secret accessory and music jingle further proved the Beckett's possessed rare exclusive Magic Bands. The man opened the doors to their genuine special stay.

As the Manager rambled on to the ears of the Kryptonian, the girl half tempted to remove her eyewear to fully take in the beauty of the complementary room. She left Natasha's side to explore on her own, the Russian having no trouble now that they were in the suite. Stuff like this wasn't new to Natasha, but the atmosphere of being here in times of peace ignited the spark of how impressed she was with the expensive room. Occasionally she would see her baby girl come out of one luxurious hallway only to enter another, including the bathroom. At one-point Kara nearly rammed into Joe, the blonde turning on her heal away from the man to jog in the opposite direction.

Avril assured the bearded man just as he was about to apologize. "You have nothing to worry about Sir. Her condition only got worse with age."

He put the pieces together on solving Logan Beckett's behavior. "I see." The silence only lasted for a few seconds. "I will ad that I am glad that you are satisfied here Ms. Beckett, this time of year all rooms are pretty much taken but a woman of your class needs certain customs." He went on to address the benefits of the room. "Room service is always active for you to use by the Master Bed along with the kitchen that had been filled to the brim with fresh supplies. The Bar is full of every kind of fine alcohol by Mr. Stark's choice, it is not allowed outside this room. Do call us if something is out of place and we will take care of it immediately."

"Thank you, Mr. Kennedy."

They shook hands again.

The Manager was about to make his way out when he turned back to face the brunette. "Excuse me, I seem to have almost forgotten the last highlight."

The redhead glared one last time down the hall before making her way to stand at Maria's side, the Executive reaching to grab her Baby's hand.

Out of his dress jacket, Joe pulled out three dark blue lanyards with "Walt Disney World Resort", written on them. Attached to all three were never before/Rarely seen Laminated rectangular Badges that had a flawless image of Queen Elsa posing with her hand extended upwards as if casting a wave of ice and snow. But instead beautiful words were written across the top clearly reading, "Unlimited FastPass+."

"Courtesy of our Park operations Associates I was given the task to grant you with these unlimited FastPass+ badges that came with your purchase. No Reservations at a Kiosk need to be made at all with them. These are to be used in any of the four designated parks, they will work with any ride you wish to go on and must be warned at all times."

The Girlfriends endured their acting by locking their lips beautifully, startling the tall man for a moment. Maria took them only to hand them over for Kristin to examine.

"Don't forget your tickets." He pulled out a red envelope from the other side of his jacket.

They eyed him with a raised brow. He chuckled. "No Mams' not your admission Park Hopper tickets." He placed the perfect pouch in Maria's hand. "Your tickets for the already sold out show for "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party scheduled for tomorrow!"

Kristin practically jumped into Avril's arms, wrapping her legs around her hips as they spun furiously, all while smothering their mouths. The Manager taking a step back but smiled knowing he enjoyed the part of his job in seeing the reactions where a couple or a family became overjoyed upon being granted once in a Life Time Opportunities here at Walt Disney World.

They settled down to face him again, and he wasn't done.

"And finally, Becketts, if you all are up for it, gather together at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow morning when the park opens." He pointed toward the glass doors leading to the balcony that faced the Majestic Castle. "You've been selected to be the first family to help Mickey and the new Mayor of Main Street U.S.A. welcome everyone to the Most Magical Place on Earth!"

The Executive and Manager shook hands for the last time as he made his way towards the exit doors. Maria patted his shoulder lightly to offer him a Benjamin. Normally he wasn't allowed to accept such compensation, but the woman insisted that he take it. "May you and your family have a pleasant evening Ms. Beckett."

She politely shut the doors, gently listening to the fading footsteps and turned to face her girlfriend who gave a seductive grin that would make the devil blush.

"We did it, Nat." Maria leaned against the doors. "We made it."

The Russian said nothing and instead set the badges and envelope on the small stool table near a hallway. She slowly walked up to the former commander, swaying her hips gently from side to side. Maria of-course stood her ground by swaying the Camera case to the side of her torso and crossed her arms, but they came undone to grip her Baby's hips once they were in reach. The Assassin gently rocked her body into Maria which evolved into sooth grinding. Natasha slithering her arms around the Brunette's neck. Their heads drawing closer with lips almost touching.

Natasha dragged the tip of her tongue across her top lip. "Thank you." she whispered before they were once again lost in their earning love with lips. The Russian's fingers gently gripped chunks of her woman's hair while the latter dragged her palms downwards and behind to cup her impressive bum, the taunting digits moving inwards into the crevice despite the whole area being covered with clothes. Maria went so far as to smack both cheeks drawing Natasha to part while throwing her head back but contained her moan.

It seemed awfully quiet, too quiet, and that scenario was enough to make them both part but Maria still protectively holding her Baby.

Their eyes searching the empty hallways with Natasha clearing her throat. "Kara?"

No response.

"Kara, where are you?" she asked again as they walked to the open master bedroom connected to the kitchen, bar, and balcony. The lights of the Magic Kingdom glowed faintly in the dark outside. Still no sign of the small girl anywhere.

"Where are you Missy?" the Avenger asked mostly to herself.

Maria was about to call out to her as well when the girl came into the room from the other section. The scene rendered them happy when they saw their daughter casually floating in the air on her back with her body facing horizontally, her smile, closed eyes, and dreamy look made them both admire in adorableness. Without looking, the Kryptonian swayed through the air in the direction of her caretakers. Her hair and legs moving in different directions as she twisted multiple times in an expert fashion. The girl found herself in front of Maria at eye level and without touching the ground, she hugged her father and lifted her into the air while burying her face in her collar. The brunette was quick to hang on to the Supergirl and they went higher to the point where their heads almost touched the roof. Natasha watching them with understanding in her eyes. Maria closed her eyes and combed her fingers through her pupil's hair while she breathed her scent strongly. After less than a minute they began to lower down and when they parted the Executive nuzzled her nose with Kara's followed by the girl pecking both her cheeks.

"Only the best for you." Maria assured while stroking Kara's chin. "Look." She tilted the girl's face in the direction of the slide windows. The alien could see the night sky, but the lights are what caused her jaw to open and Maria to let go. Kara jogged to the doors and quickly found the handle it had to slide them and step out. Maria offered her elbow to Natasha and they went out into the cool air. The alien feasted her eyes on the palace.

There it was! Shining in all its beautiful glory! So close within her own reach yet so far. The palm over her mouth quivered at the beautiful sight. She paid little attention to the countless transporters that were parked as far as the eye could see, her eyes only focusing a few seconds on the massive neighboring dome next to the structure. The palace was a pure sight that was already engraving itself into her heart. There it was!

"Yes." The Russian confirmed as they came to surround her. "Beautiful isn't it?"

"Natasha…." the blonde brought a palm to her mouth for a moment. She wanted to cry in joy. But she maintained her posture.

"A Kingdom full of Endless Dreams." The brunette confirmed, not caring despite listening to herself. This was her vacation. Not a flight deck full of her formal officers at the ready. "For every girl and boy." Statistically speaking for everyone of all ages.

Natasha let go of her Girlfriend's elbow to allow Maria to slither her forearms over Kara's collar. The blonde excepting the nurture but kept gazing at the glowing castle. She silently thanked Rao for this moment. Seeing beautiful things on a piece of information was indeed different than seeing them with one's own eyes.

"Tomorrow." She whispered smoothly in the Supergirl's ear. "That's our next destination…tomorrow."

The Kryptonian cooed when she felt lips press into her neck. And then she closed her eyes.

She opened her eyes to the soft humming Natasha gave. All three were in the massive master bathroom freshening up from their long travel. Maria long having been done with her shower and stood in front of the mirror drying her hair, she wore a simple black t shirt with matching thigh length yoga shorts. Revealing her flawless legs, calves, and feet.

Near the half-filled bubble bath induced giant tub laid Natasha inside sitting on the built-in stool, Kara graciously laying in her lap and was at peace when her Mother dragged the scented thick bar across her stomach and inner thighs. Yes, she was taken by surprise when she realized Natasha had undressed as well, indicating that she too planned to bathe. And with her! But it was merely bathing. A bonding experience with her caretaker.

With one final inspection on her looks, Maria turned on her heel to walk towards them, she casually scooped a handful of bubbles and blew them in Kara's face, but the girl played along and blew them back using a pinch of her advanced breath. Several of the bubbles popping from pressure while the rest hit Maria's nose and torrents of the brunette's hair went everywhere. The blonde couldn't hide her giggle.

The executive merely smirked and got closer to peck Natasha's lips before heading out into the hallway, letting them both continue their moment of relaxation. She stopped in the frame section that led to the master bedroom and kitchen, admiring the scene that to many and herself never thought would be possible. She smiled. Her life, her family. The brunette quickly found herself going to the bar and opened one of multiple mini fridges containing dozens of bottled or canned alcohol, ignoring the liquor on the top shelves. After some thought she decided on a Blue Moon and twisted the cap off to take a hard swig. She really needed it. The former commander spent the next few minutes simply sitting down in one of the high stools to enjoy her drink. She even went for another after she heard the loud sound of the tub in the bathroom being drained. Maria walked to the genuine bedroom and climbed into the King-sized bed, prompting her torso up on pillows while flexing her legs and feet outwards. Soon enough, the patter of Kara's small feet could be heard, and she came around the corner wearing similar clothes but kept the shirt with the Avengers logo. Her hair was out of its braid and swayed back to its originally mane of straightness. Glasses had been removed since before her bath. Maria gestured for her to come closer. The older woman set her Beer down on the lamp stool and extended her hand out. The girl took it and now found herself laying in the lap of her father. Maria keeping her forearms wrapped around the slim waist and helped Kara extend her legs out with her own. Of-course things didn't go as planned and the Alien laughed trying to get her calves and feet away from Maria's. The executive initiated a playful footsie match with her daughter, going so far as to use her toes to grip Kara's smaller ones. The Kryptonian purposely submitted and gently twisted her form to where they rested side by side but still propped up, tangled in each other's arms. After another thought, Maria reached for her drink and took another unhealthy gulp. She licked her lips and noticed how Kara was eyeing the Beer.

The older woman tempted to ask her if she was the appropriate age but decided against it. "Want some?" she gently shook the dark bottle before raising it to Kara's lips, her mouth latching on and gulped down a few sips. It tasted a bit different compared to the one Natasha had given her on the night they met, but she couldn't and wouldn't complain. The rich liquid soothed her throat then, and it did now.

Being a spy had its perks, and with Kara's concentration being entirely on Maria, Natasha stood at the edge of the bed holding four Coronas in the same clothes as her Girlfriend. "She does like Beer." She casually interrupted their moment with Kara almost yelping but ceased upon seeing her friend. Natasha filled the bed with one more person, and Maria took the drinks only for her Baby to grab Kara and shifting her to rest in the middle. Adjusting to her new spot, the girl looked past their feet to see the wide solid dark screen. She knew it was switched off. This planetary form of a Holonet System. Her assumption came true when Maria grabbed a control device from the stool and aimed it at the screen, bringing it to life. Sure enough, the first channels that met their eyes were the news. These inhabitants also stood in front of surveillance and spoke about events that were happening behind them. Some were even showing images of how the weather would look throughout certain days with images and calculated temperature.

"How about a movie?" Maria tilted her head to ask. Natasha and Kara tearing their gaze from the screen.

Natasha brushed several strands of hair behind her Malysh's ear. "Why not?" and with that the Russian quickly got up to turn the lights off in the room, rendering it all in darkness except for the large screen.

Kara was confused. And Maria aiming at the screen again wasn't helping. Was it time for bed?

Several clicks got her attention from the Holonet. The images were now different. She couldn't focus on any considering how fast Maria kept clicking. Little did she know her father was setting her eyes on something that could be entertaining for the remainder of the evening.

"Any ideas?" Natasha asked while getting adjusted again.

"Already got one." The screen finally paused for Kara to see. It was an image of the planet they were on from space. It was majestic but it was the rest that made Kara almost want to lean past them to rest on her hands and knees in awe. Two hands coming from the left and right close together by a mere finger's touch. One limb belonging to an inhabitant while the other was a sickly brown. The fingers were too long for the palm and the index digit was glowing bright.

E.T. the Extra Terrestrial

"Aliens." Maria told her directly. The young woman eyed her with shock and then back to the screen. "They are real Kara."

Natasha was stuck between chuckling and grinning. "Don't you think showing her the existence of life out there is a little much?"

Maria did however chuckle. "Its just a movie Nat, besides, she's already seen the battlefield. And you know as well as I do that not everyone can endure the life style we live."

Natasha nodded firmly and proudly but Kara's attention was still on the image. It was true, these inhabitants were aware of life outside of this planet. They were not strangers to the unknown despite how they didn't coexist with other species. She was not the first traveler from the stars to walk this world. She closed her eyes. Thanking Rao above for her appearance. She now had a new appreciation for resembling these inhabitants. She didn't even want to think of the possibilities on what could happen if her true physiology was discovered. She could only find sanctuary in the arms of her caretakers and approval of her comrades that have split to go their separate ways.

Natasha took her away from her thoughts by rubbing her shoulders. "She's right. Aliens are real. But its just a movie. One of the best to watch with others." Kara turned to nuzzle her face with her Mother's. "C'mon enjoy it. Just sit back."

After getting acquainted again, the redhead nodded to her Girlfriend and the blonde watched Maria hit a central button on the remote. The screen went dark again but not for long.

The chilling echo came from the speakers followed by words that were unreadable to the Kryptonian. Credits perhaps. This had to be a documentary or a cinematic reenactment of sorts dealing with Extra Terrestrial life. The title that was seen beneath both hands faded into view from the blackness.

Maria unscrewed the cap off a Beer and offered it to her. The blonde took it with both hands the second the soft melody started. And with it, the view of a perfect dark sky came to be. The footage lowered by the second and a dark forest stole the setting.

Just as the melody reached its end, it happened.

An unbelievable menacing tone rung through the family's ears and on the screen, was a ship. Kara no longer held in the lump in her throat and let out a small gasp. She quickly took a sip of her beverage. A ship of other worldly origin was stationed in a forest. The scene transcended into the dark and the camera moved from its hiding spot in the trees to get a better view of the ship. It was enormous! But of simple design.

Natasha whispered to the blonde while rubbing her Malysh's legs with her feet. "A ship from beyond the stars."

The shuttle doors of the vessel were extended outwards with navigation lights stationed on the sides to help whoever was inside through the abyss. The sound of creatures howling through the forest sent tingles down Kara's back. Something was in the bushes near the bridge walk. Her eyes were not playing tricks on her. A long head was poking its way out! Branches crunched on the forest floor and the branches from trees blocked the perfect view again. Machinery began beeping loudly as the creatures moved within the forestry. One was even waddling towards the screen. What were these other life forms doing here?

One walking up the bridge was carrying what appeared to be a pile of branches and a dark slim hand reached up to pull a branch with just two long fingers.

Botanists, perhaps?

The Kryptonian was relieved to see the inside of the ship. Different vegetation of most likely different worlds scattered everywhere. Some of which she had never seen herself. It didn't last and it showed the creatures once again outside in the dark. A howl echoed from above startling them causing them to freeze in place as their chests glowed a perfect crimson.

Their hearts, perhaps?

One of them had ventured off alone from the others, running into a long eared animal who watched the off world being tear a root out of the ground, from its point of view it came out of the forest and stumbled upon a beautiful view of civilization miles down the mountain. This brought a smile to Kara's face, this little creature who wore no clothing at all reminded her of herself. He was curious.

He looked in a certain direction. Something was wrong, very wrong.

The lights from large transporters tore throw the vegetation, only stopping when a faint glimpse of the traveler was seen through the lights.

"Run little one." Kara spoke out loud.

This was not good. Hiding was all he could do. This world's inhabitants had already spotted him. In their hands they held lights that helped them to a minimum. The traveler blended perfectly with the dark.

This night was not meant to be pleasant.

One of his kind was standing at the front of the doors with its chest illuminating. Kara's brows raised to her hairline. They were calling him, during a risky situation!

Kara's fears came true when the separated one's chest glowed against his will. His hand covering himself as best as he could but the humming caused all the unidentified men to turn.

"RUN."

And run he did.

"No…..no what are they doing?!" the stationed lights were starting to go out as the music intensified.

The men chased him through the dark as the creature ran with his crimson chest lighting his way. His keen did nothing as the lights near the bridge went out.

"What are they doing?!" she asked Maria with despair.

"They have no choice." Maria said with faint grim in her voice. She didn't need to understand Kara's words to know why she was distressed.

He continued to yelp and cry as he moved his small body with a bounce.

"This way!" said one of the men.

The traveler pushed himself, even breathing hard at this point, but it was all in vain as the shuttle doors began to rise. Kara knew what was coming. He was being left behind.

The ship initiated lift off. With the poor creature still running and being nowhere near the rendezvous point. The ache in the blonde's chest became heavy as he made A pointless attempt to outstretch his arm to the skies. Hoping that would be enough for them to return.

It didn't, and his chest cavity lost its glow.

The Kryptonian blinked back a few tears for the Traveler. He was now lost. She looked down at her hands holding her drink. Natasha cheered her up by gripping her forearm with no gauntlet.

"It gets worse before it gets better."

She turned to Maria who nodded in agreement.

They continued with the film. It was still nightfall over the hemisphere. The camera resting in front of a large residency on top of a hill. Kara didn't need to focus on their sentences to know that the young boy in the middle of adolescents was trying to fit in. And although he wasn't succeeding, he was still making a great effort. They sent him outside to pick up a thin box dropped off from a transporter, he calmly walked up the dark hill when crashing noises in the distance caught his attention.

"Harvey?" he called out. "Harvey, is that you boy?"

An older woman in a robe showed up in the room full of young males, judging by her age she was one of these adolescent's mother. The Supergirl was repulsed when one of them tried to touch her bottom inappropriately.

"Stop it!" yelped Michael. She was his mother.

"No one's ever gonna try that with you Missy." Natasha assured.

The boy kept walking to the field behind the residency. He surely was brave in Kara's eyes to be out there by himself. He approached a small wooden structure that seemed to be having suspicious activity. He set the box he was holding down and slowly walked towards the light. When he threw a small ball inside it was caught with a smack and gently tossed back at him.

It was the Traveler!

The fear in the boy's eyes ignited and he turned to run back into his home, tripping over the box in the process. Soon enough after a heated argument with his friends and the woman. They all eagerly stood up, arming themselves and heading out. The boy pulled her to join them. She was his Mother as well. If the creature was still where he was, he had to leave. Kara gulped softly and wet her lips with her drink.

"There's nothing in here." Mary spoke after being purposely startled by Greg.

"Look at these." Michael crouched and everyone followed. He poked at the strange foot prints with a blade. "Coyote's come back again Mom."

Kara studied the foot prints a bit longer and noticed how the tracks only had three toes with one on each foot working as opposable thumbs.

The robed woman gained control of the group and instructed them to get back inside. They stopped and crouched to inspect the box that had been stepped on. To Kara's disappointment, ruined nourishments fell in pieces when it was partially opened. Such a waste.

"Oh great." Steve crossed his legs as Tyler lifted a ruined slice. "Nice one Elliott."

"It was an accident."

The woman in the robe was anything but pleased. "A pizza, who said you guys could order a Pizza, huh?"

The boy pointed at the older one with the blade in his hand. "Him."

The blonde chuckled when he started to stutter and the oldest one forcefully told everyone to go back inside. Unknown to them all, the Hand of the creature reached for the edges of the entrance with its hoarse breathing interrupting the growing silence.

"Did they not see him?" Kara asked rhetorically.

The bunk bed chamber revealed the furry animal as he heard crashing noises again.

A small Canine! And just like the boy above him, he too was curious.

The boy was once again back outside in less presentable clothing. He headed straight for the fields past the perimeter of his home. What in Rao's name was he doing? He found the more recently formed footprints of the Traveler and headed in said direction.

"He will not provoke him, will he?" she asked again only for both caretakers to usher their heads, silently telling her to concentrate.

The boy's light penetrated the dry roots and his exploration came to an end when the Traveler's form came to be for the first time in the light. His skin was dark and oily, his head and torso resembling nothing to that of a Kryptonian, Xandarian, or Inhabitant. Big round eyes resting on the opposite sides of his head with his long arms trying their best to shield the light from his form. He had been frightened. Both have been. This didn't stop the boy as he watched just in the nick of time to see the Traveler escape into the direction of the forest. The look on his face sparking interest once again.

"He is very persistent."

"Brave young man isn't he." The redhead told her Malysh. "That reminds me." She got up letting go of Kara to go to the kitchen. She disappeared behind the pantry.

Maria patted her arm to look at the film again. Morning had finally risen.

The boy was dressed for the day, had a hover bike! But it did not hover as it rested on wheels and he used his legs as the energy to push it. Indeed, he rode up the mountain and into the forest. Just as he made it and pulled a bag from his carrier, Natasha came back with a similar bag.

"Care for some Reese's Pieces?" Natasha and Elliot poured a handful in front of Kara. The girl ignoring the screen and gave her mother her attention. "I don't eat candy, but maybe you'd like some."

The girl picked up several of the pebbles and raised them to her eyes. Orange and brown. After watching Elliott pop a few into his mouth, she did the same. They were chewable, and delicious! But she almost swallowed them in fear when the boy ducked behind a root covered rock when he spotted one of the men from last night. It appeared he wasn't the only one searching for the Traveler now. he picked up his bike and left as quickly as he came. Unknown to him, the Traveler's foreign hands slid of the crooked tree he had been perched on.

To Natasha's faint surprise, Maria took the bag of candy and set it near the crevice of Kara and herself. The brunette didn't hesitate to grab a handful and water fall them into her mouth.

The mother, brothers, and young sister were now sitting at the same gathering table. The Alien smiling at the cute youngling but resorted to eating the pebbles and sipping her drink when the arguments began and the woman sporting tears from the whole ordeal.

This Documentary had a preference, for a dark atmosphere since the day went by and night took over. The boy resting in a thin cot with heavy sheets. He rose to the sound of movement and there was the creature, standing at the entrance of the wooden structure. Steam excreting from his body, a reaction to keep warm. The music didn't sooth Kara's shivers with the second confrontation between Inhabitant and Alien.

"Mom….Mom, Michael." He was paralyzed with fear as the Traveler waddled dangerously towards him for a moment.

"Michael….Mom."

The Alien scurried towards the boy without any warning, causing Kara to almost spill her drink. he did it again but stopping just a few feet away from the boy's legs.

"He mustn't hurt him, he is just a youngling." She told Maria, but all unpredictability ceased when the large long hand stretched across the covers. Dropping the pebbles that the boy had scattered on the forest floor.

E.T. and Kara "oohing" the moment the light shined over the Reese's Pieces.

It may have not been wise for the Boy to lure the creature into his residency with the pebbles, but he was curious as to what he was dealing with and both were cooperating in being as silent as possible. She laughed when the alien was finally in the quarters and started reaching for things he couldn't see with his small body. The boy shut the door as a contraption went off and flung a cape or cover of sorts at the Traveler. Silence took over except for another melody as the two from different worlds stood in front of each other. No searching, no hiding, no yelling, no running. Just taking the moment to acquaint themselves.

Kara paid close attention, knowing what was happening. The potential start to something. She put a hand to her lips just as the small being did when the boy started making movements with his hands. Natasha saw this and gave a faint smirk. She played along with her powerful pupil and opened her palm for Kara to do as well, followed by closing all digits minus a finger to wiggle it up and down. They entwined their hands and nuzzled again, the Russian showing her that her caring ways would never faulter.

They watched as Elliott fell asleep with his new friend watching him with a calm beady eyed look. It was impressive how the tone could change in this film for the Kryptonian since the scene resumed back to the forest site of the ship. The investigators working hard as ever with seemingly expensive equipment. One had even found a trail of pebbles. Hopefully this small clue wouldn't conclude to a lead.

After a long attempt at fooling his mother to be sick, the boy had the residency to himself. Kara did not approve of this but if it meant he would have time to bond with the Traveler then so be it.

"Come on….its alright…..come on." Elliot called as his deformed friend waddled into the deem lit room. No matter how many times she had seen him. Kara would always be impressed. Just like her experience in meeting Natasha, now she was seeing it from someone else's eyes.

"Do you talk? You know, Talk?" E.T. just stared back with the cover around his small bony shoulders. "Me Human. Boy. Elliot. El-li-ott." He confidently pointed to his chest.

"El….Elliott." Kara spoke looking at her caretakers with a grin. They both nodded.

Any signs of his illness went away as he started explaining the objects that littered the desk to the Traveler when he simply turned in curiosity. From miniature figures, aquatic animals in a round water filled tank, and unknown gadgets, to concluding with the creature attempting to consume a modeled transporter. It wasn't playful or a mockery, but Kara had to grin at his innocent nature. Even when he was being scolded by Elliott, he had an adorable expression. The Canine coming through the door startling them. Had it not been for Elliott's dominance over the animal, things could have been worse. The dreamy look returned to Kara at the site of nourishments the boy attempted to retrieve from the massive vault but being started by the Rain cover opening on the floor above caused him to drop everything. When she eyed the spilled liquid on the floor, she lowered her drink from her lips. The bright pale liquid kept pouring.

Her face slightly shrewd in disgust.

Mother's milk. Kept in confinement out of the breast! The youngest was a mere child, not an infant.

"How Repulsive." She remarked

How was the Traveler possibly capable of barricading himself among modeled stuffed animals of unknown identity was beyond her. To his luck, the young boy brought Nourishments.

Time had skipped and the oldest sibling was running up the hill to the home he shared with his family in a strange uniform with the number "17" on his back. But when he walked through the gathering quarters, he had stripped out of it now sporting armored pads on his shoulders.

"Michael." Maria pointed at him for Kara to see.

She made another attempt, just as he made it up to his brother's quarters to confront him.

"Mi…mic…Michael." The name was there but there was a constant unavoidable throat click after the "C".

Her father nodded. "Yes."

Her feet tingled when Elliott issued Michael to stand in a corner, the boy was preparing to confess and show the Traveler. Something was bound to go wrong the moment the foreigner waddled out into few. Of-course the eldest's reaction was dead silent shock but realistic none the less. Kara had to pinch the bridge of her nose when the child barged in, pausing for a millisecond then screamed in terror as the creature raised his neck upon being startled.

The young blonde had to admire the trio's plan in them hiding as Elliott confronted his mother. He succeeded once again in driving her away. Who knew how long he was willing to drag this out now that his siblings were aware of the off world being living in their residency?"

Natasha knew what scene was coming next and she prepared to stand up. Kara eyeing her calmly. "I think you'll need more than those." She mentioned the bag of candy that was nearly empty already.

The Avenger scuttled quickly to the kitchen for the third time. But Kara and Maria continued watching, knowing she would be back. The child, Gertie, as Maria had taught her to say, made the right decision. She, along with Michael would help Elliott in hiding the creature from the outside world. The Kryptonian's inner worries for the boy came true when it showed a view of the neighboring homes below the mountain, with the investigators now making progress with their mission.

"Here we go." In Natasha's hand was a balanced large black tray containing a genuine Deli Party Platter. In her other was two large bags of Pretzels and Lay's Sour cream and Onion. Kara finished the last of her crispy beverage and Maria took the bottle from her. The blonde adjusted herself as her friend set the tray on her lap gently. The beautiful decorated design of unknown edible vegetation made her mouth water. The Girlfriend's doing their part, and each opened a bag to set near their knees.

After a moment of not decided what to do, Natasha chose a celery stick for her and raised it to the blonde's lips. Kara taking a large bite and chewed with an explorational expression. Maria was next and scooped through the caramel dip with an apple slice and brought it to her pupil lips. Her mouth was full, but she took the whole slice in.

"By Rao such savoring fruits I am privileged to taste." She said in her mind. Maria pecked her neck before dipping a piece of broccoli with a pretzel in the ranch dip and popped it into her mouth. Natasha doing the same but with carrot sticks and sour cream chips.

Their eyes watched the screen again.

The child walked in with the Canine by her side. Apparently, he no longer saw the Traveler as a threat and got used to his scent. "A plant for you." she set the nearly dead vegetation on the desk for the creature.

Just like the Becketts, he was eating fruit, veggies, and snacks.

Michael rambled on in disbelief. "Maybe he's some animal that isn't supposed to live. Like those Rabbits we saw that time."

As Gertie rambled on, Kara chewed softly as Elliott pulled out what appeared to be a map on thin material.

"We are here." He pointed to the west. The Traveler watching in concentration.

Michael handed him the globe. "No use this."

Kara easily recognized the model of the planet they were on. She easily accepted the new Beer Maria gave her.

"Okay. We're here." He pointed to a section next to a large body of water. "We are here, where are you from?"

Just as E.T. slowly pointed out the window, Kara and Michael's heads turned towards that direction and looked up. The fictional character doing what was shown on the screen, but the blonde tilted her head left towards the ceiling. Maria and Natasha stopped chewing to eye her behavior. The redhead gently issued her chin towards the movie again.

He was trying to tell them something so the trio complied by opening a chart of Outer space. Kara had to cock a brow. Did these inhabitants not possess anything close to a holopad? Even when the boy showed him what planet they were on, his friend still pointed towards the window. It was evident in their faces they were starting to grow uncertain. That was until the Traveler started placing round colorful spheres onto certain parts of the solo system chart, representing moons or planets that these inhabitants were positive didn't even know existed.

Then it happened, his long fingers outstretched, and the spheres began to levitate causing Kara to drop a pretzel she had been inspecting. They spun rapidly, putting emphasis on where their new friend hailed from. And his abilities!

They knew now he was an Alien.

The Kryptonian swallowed hard when Elliott screamed, suddenly entering a minor trance. The music that was present wasn't soothing the scene.

He walked towards the end of his quarters looking out the other window.

"Elliott what is it?"

"I don't know, something scary."

His Off-World friend came quickly around the desk, abandoning his meal off screen. His long hand slowly cupping his shoulder for comfort. The brave boy headed outside, approaching the gates that marked the limited perimeter of his home. Disembodied noises of machinery and people talking could be heard.

But from where?

"They are slowly closing in." Kara bowed her head while nibbling on a small tomato.

Fortunately, the beautiful Sun rose again for the inhabitants to start the day. From there would lead the unusual events from what could happen by leaving an extraterrestrial alone in a Residency not familiar to him. Along with the revelation of a small physic link that would form between the two friends.

He came from around the corner of the small boxed Holonet after making a mess around the gathering quarters. Devices that had been taken apart laid everywhere. He only took what was necessary to start building the communicator after receiving motivation from an image he saw on thin material.

The Becketts were just as intrigued as ever, still taking food from the tray that was starting to diminish.

As Kara gulped down the last sip of her second beverage the mother had arrived with Gertie. The traveler was right by the vault containing the remaining nourishments. Fortunately, the container she was carrying blocked her view. The child's innocent nature took over as she tried countless times to introduce the creature to the head of the household. Even when he had been knocked down by the doors, the small being kept waddling about.

As Kara chuckled from time to time pointing at the screen Maria filled her in. "Sometimes when you overwork, you're oblivious to what goes on around you."

Natasha rolled her eyes. "That's a lie and you know it."

Kara tilted her head in curiosity at the woman on the screen. Not because she was holding the metallic cans and talking over the communicator attached to a wire, but from something else.

The girl pointed at the mother and looked at Maria. The executive taking a few seconds to discover the meaning behind the gesture.

"Mary." She asserted. "Her name is Mary."

Kara gave a happy coo at the realization. "Mary." She appointed at the mother talking about the whereabouts of her son then back to her father. "Maria!!"

The former commander nodded. "Similar names? Yes."

Then the Traveler spoke. "B."

The Kryptonian dropped her empty bottle and gave a small clap with a cheer. It was never too late to learn.

"B."

"You said "B", good!" even Gertie was proud.

"B….goood." he lowered his head down.

The boy had made it back from his educational courses. He carried his belongings and wiped his face with the back of a palm. The small glimpse of shameful tears evident. His mother scolding him below.

But he had done the right thing in freeing the small amphibians in the jars. Thus, starting a chain reaction for his classmates.

Both Aliens on screen and off blushed seeing and feeling the boy kiss a classmate he secretly admired.

Elliott knew his sister was up to something, and literally dropped what he was doing to go into her quarters. Kara looking forward to the sibling rivalry over helping their alien friend. He opened the blinds and Kara nearly doubled over in laughter at the sight of the Traveler dressed in woman's clothes along with a massive hair piece. To the sister's amusement, shock overtook his disgust when the creature repeated his name. Resulting in Elliott testing for himself, being impressed as ever. When Michael walked in, his friendly bullying melted after hearing his little friend speak.

"E.T. phone home." His raspy voiced echoed as he pointed towards the window.

Maria whispered in Kara's ear just as Elliott asked. "And they'll come?"

"Come. Home." He pulled the piece off his oily head. "Home." He finished with a tint of despair in his voice.

If Kara didn't know any better, his featured started to show illness.

The same scenario of the investigators returned. Only this time Kara's nerves were growing stronger. They were already in the neighborhood tuning into the conversations of others in their households inside the safety of the large transporter. The worst came when they stopped in front of Elliott's home. Him along with his brother were busy finding tools of sorts. An argument followed, concerning E.T. but they quickly averted it.

Off screen the Traveler assembled his potential communicator with the primitive technology around him. His breathing earned a raised brow from the Kryptonian but her features couldn't hide the sadness when the golden plants the being had revived with his abilities were starting to wither. There was something more to them than met the eye.

For this case she decided to ignore her curiosity when the youngest siblings argued while dressing up in a completely different sense of fashion. Why was Elliott painting his face? They finished and entered the storage hall where the Traveler was hiding.

The boy carrying the equipment on his back. "Ready?"

"Ready." They covered his body with a sheet and quickly scurried down the stairway.

When all three stood side by side, Kara finally acknowledged Michael's appearance. Crudely drawn ink splattered across his chin, cheeks, and lips. Was it supposed to resemble facial hair? Was that a blade lodged into his skull?!

"It's a fake knife." Natasha told her when Mary simply cried in joy at seeing her children all dressed up. Her sharp eyewear matching the spotted tight dress she was breaking in for the year's Halloween.

The blonde girl wasn't questioning the mother's intelligence, but she did wonder why Mary hadn't yet discovered the Traveler. How could she confuse him under the sheet for her daughter?

Kara had to admire the alien's concern when he raised his head to see the blade sticking out above his friend's ear, he even went so far as to summon his healing touch through a long finger. The same ability he demonstrated for the first time when he healed Elliott's sliced finger thanks to the serrated disk the night before. Michael worked fast to hide the dark hand.

After helping their friend recover from the massive flash the small device gave, they headed out into the streets. Which were now active with other inhabitants roaming around dressed in crude, disturbing, or exotic clothes. This was not Krismus. She didn't want to jump to conclusions, but this apparent festivity was bizarre. Judging by how some walked she might as well consider it to be an epidemic. Yet again, Elliott and Michael were helping their friend walk around with calm faces.

One little person with emerald skin and long ears walked past them immediately catching the attention of the Traveler. It was hard to tell if he was an off world being or an inhabitant, but those questions were discarded when she saw he was holding a carrier like dozens around him, including the brothers.

"Halloween." Her parents said simultaneously. The redhead raising her hand to identify the atmosphere of the streets.

Halloween. So, this particularly less joyful and still active event had a name too.

She found the strength in her throat. "Allo…..hal…..Halloween." her voice doing its best not to squeal during the last few syllables.

"Yes." Both Girlfriends chimed with pride for their daughter.

Adolescent, children, and alien reunited at the top of the mountain, with Gertie wearing an identical sheet as the Traveler. This answered the question on her whereabouts.

The scene faded to Elliott riding his hoverbike on the forest floor, the sun already going down by the minutes. The girl steadied her vision and realized the little being was inside the white container attached to the front. An act that couldn't hold her laughter.

"It's too bumpy, we'll have to walk from HE….!" His vessel was pushed by an unseen force. "E.T.!"

Kara returned the smile when E.T. gave the same gesture, eyeing the screen straight forward.

When they reached the edge of a certain death inflicting cliff. The traveler did as Predicted and levitated them both with his physic telekinesis. Kara clapping loudly when the boy cried out from the height that kept elevating. He quickly got used to the situation as they past many trees that never reached the altitude they were at. Kara couldn't help but label the moment iconic when they soared across the moon that shined over the forest.

All Becketts laughed as they crashed into the nearby bush upon landing.

Again, another aspect the Kryptonian had to ignore rather than waste time trying to figure out the fully equipped communicator the two were setting up, they seemed confident so that was enough for her. As long as they were near the abandoned rendezvous point their plan would be able to work.

And work it did. The utensil that Kara recognized was pulled by the wire attached to the trees and receiving aid from the strong cold winds. Odd symbols began to chime on the electric board, the call had been answered. But the victory was short lived when the investigators had finally made their way into the residency. The sight was deeply disturbing even though they would find nothing. That did leave the question.

What would the boy and alien do now that the home had been invaded?

"We have to go now E.T. we're so late already." His coughs only got louder as he approached his friend. "We have to go home now E.T."

The creature eyed him in disbelief. The boy sat next to him.

"You should give em some time."

The alien finally demonstrated his depression and desperation while pointing to his chest. "Ouch."

But the brave youngling was having none of it. They even ignored the four-legged animal that stopped to see them.

"He misses his people." Kara assumed despite their foreign conversation.

"You could be happy here." He moved in front of the alien. "I can take care of you. I wouldn't let anybody hurt you. We could grow up together, E.T."

He may have not been ignoring his friend but his look to the skies never lost its lust.

"Home…..home….."

Was he saying, Home?

The familiar feeling of an ache returned to the Kryptonian's throat. The boy was losing strength, but he cared more about his friend.

E.T. slowly looked down, letting his companion know that everything was going to be alright. His smile sending the boy into much needed sleep.

Metaphorically, a storm was coming. And nobody would be prepared.

The Extra Terrestrial looked up a final time.

"Home….."

An ivory fade engulfed the screen. Morning had arrived.

He awoke to his instincts and immediately found the energy to get up from his uncomfortable position.

Kara realized something. "Where is he?!"

The aftermath had arrived when the scene skipped to the family back in their home. The mother quickly breaking down when she shut the vault and held her middle child standing behind it. Kara's brows creased in sadness. He was ill.

"Is he here?" Elliott asked Michael.

Kara knew the question and shook her head "no" along with the oldest sibling.

"You've got to find him Mike."

"Where is he?"

"In the forest. With the Bald Spot." he was on the verge of crying, and he had every right to do so. "You've got to find him."

The Brother wasted no time and did his duty as the eldest. He took the bike and set off into the streets. Anger helped Kara swallow the lump when transporters began to follow Michael. The three watching the film knew who they were since it all started. Bless Rao above he evaded them and returned to the bald spot. He called for his friend but just like Elliott, no answer. But a clue was discovered thanks to the sheet that was discarded far from the communicator.

He was on the grounded roads again on the bike, but the camera was lowering to an abandoned filthy canal.

Natasha set her drink aside to cup Kara's shoulders. "You won't like this."

The traveler laid near the water. His flesh long lost its dark pigment as he moaned in pain.

The Kryptonian squealed in fright and cupped her mouth with both hands.

"Little one you are undeserving of this pain." she choked. Michael noticed him and ran down the hill with the sheet. Rao bless his soul. "Get away from him!" Kara shouted to the disgusting animal that had approached the Traveler.

The adolescent had made it back home, but the look of worry was a strong as ever in the deem lit residency. He called for Mary. This revelation was long overdue, and the door opened revealing the children surrounding the now pale white Alien. The mother seemed surprised with exaggeration but upon closer inspection and simply feeling the atmosphere of the bathing quarters, she spilled her beverage and stood as if she had seen the spirit of dead relatives.

"Mom."

A portion of that was understandable in Kara's ears and she shoved the empty tray and half eaten bags of nourishments away with her feet, Natasha opening her arms to receive her. Maria wasn't far behind and brought her legs over her daughter's. They kept watching.

The bond the boy and alien had was still there. They were feeling each other's pain.

Mary's underwent her duty as head of the household and made everyone leave, taking her middle child in her arms. The Traveler shrieking for the first inhabitant he had ever met.

He was being left behind again.

Kara Zor-El didn't know who the real monsters were at this point. The invading inhabitants, or the beings who had left behind one of their keen that faithless night. The people marching up the hill only meant one thing. Kara couldn't believe it took her this entire time to figure it out.

They were officials from the government. Here to contain and possibly take the Traveler away. All of this reminded her of the journey Steve, her Mother and herself embarked to bring down the Palace of Tyranny. Only this time, there was no hope. They couldn't fend for themselves. It surprised her when they simply weren't killed on the spot and instead, were confided under quarantine in their own home.

The sight made her sick to her small stomach. Yes, both friends from different worlds laid on medical tables with wires attached to them. Physicians and Medics surrounding them every millisecond but in Reality it was all a Lab Experiment.

Her abilities were the only things keeping her safe from the palms of this world's governments. Would the ones holding her now come to her aid if she ever found herself in the position of the Traveler?

Rao above would never let that day come.

The man speaking to Elliott caught Kara's eye. After the long conversation she could tell that this man, Keys, was different from the others. But like the others, there wasn't much he could do.

The unreadable statistics on the monitors were shifting just as it showed Michael entering the storage quarters to lay down and rest. The melody ringing throughout the scene further proved that he would not be resting well thanks to his conscience. The sun shine in his face and he awoke rubbing his eyes.

Then it happened.

The plants from earlier, once shedding a few strips, were now shrewd, lowered and dying.

"This cannot be happening." Kara cried with Maria gripping her hand. The tears couldn't be held back anymore. She couldn't watch. Out of all the things that she had witnessed in her life, she simply couldn't watch. This documentary was capable of catching hearts but also break them. She couldn't watch. She yelped when she heard a primitive defibrillator go off, causing her to shake and sob just like Gertie on the screen.

Her caretakers gently kissing her tears away.

The moment of silence was given for the Traveler. His body laying lifeless on the operating table, the Medics having the decency to step back and pulling their helmets off. The boy kept a brave face for his friend. His Alien companion who had severed the bond they had so he wouldn't suffer anymore. Gertie was there as well. Brave child.

Keys lowered E.T.'s eyes.

May Rao have mercy on his soul.

The sound of the containment tank almost made her eyes glow their sickening crimson with power. "You primitive Animals!" she spat as it came into view, the Medics preparing to pack him up as if he was nothing more than the experiment they were working on the day before.

The mysterious understanding man issued all of them out and allowed Elliott to be with him. The boy silently whispering his final words before closing the vault.

"Did you both see that?" she asked shaking her head side to side, nudging her way out of her parents' embrace. "His chest!" all three didn't miss the red glow from E.T. The boy didn't make it far before catching a glimpse at the plants. They were rising! "Impossible!"

He opened the vault and unzipped the tight seal around his head.

"E.T. phone Home!"

Kara scooped the older women in her arms and spun them through the air. "But it is possible!"

They said in sync. "There is always hope."

All three lowered down to settle themselves again just as Michael hit himself on the head after leaping in joy from hearing the good news. They laughed when the chrysanthemum shined with life.

His people were coming.

The brothers had succeeded in their plan, they had escaped the quarantined perimeter in the transporter containing the Traveler. It was a close call with the remaining two officials that were stuck in the tube attached to the vessel, but the boy had quickly detached it to Kara's amusement. They reached a large meadow containing very few people and the transporter shifted horrendously with steam excreting from the back.

Michael's friends who had been instructed to follow them arrived just in time with two extra bikes. These were the same adolescents who didn't let Elliott join them in the beginning. Kara hid her smirk, now they would see.

For a moment, silence took over for the umpteenth time. And was ceased by the humming coming from the steam followed by the crimson glow.

They looked on in disbelief.

The Kryptonian ignored her caretakers and ignited her eyes just as the Traveler's form came into view, his healthy oily dark pigment had returned. "Welcome back little one."

Elliott came from behind without fear. "Okay. He's a Man from Outer Space, and we're taking him to his space ship."

Greg, who wasn't so acceptant as Tyler and Steve. "Well, can't he just beam up?"

"This is Reality Greg."

In less than a few minutes, the officials had arrived, some were even pulling out weapons! Fortunately, when they approached the Transporter, it had been disserted. Mary looking out into the distance.

"Rebellion had never appeared so soothing." Kara grinned, the young group now all on bikes speeding down the road. Elliott in the lead with the creature once again sitting in the container with the sheet over his form.

"Where we going?"

"To the forest!"

The blowing sound and lights of authorities trailed behind them, but Kara wasn't bothered. They may have the transportation and firepower, but the small group had agility and the environment. And just as she predicted, they managed to outmaneuver all of them at the edges of hills. Leaving them to make a successful escape.

They were out of the neighborhoods and into the open two-lane terminals.

Tyler pulling the mask off his face. "We made it!"

He spoke too soon, and the well-dressed men nearly caught part of his jacket. With what little energy they had left they peddled faster than their legs ever took them. Although Elliott was still in the lead, from his point of view more vehicles kept stopping from the sides and far ahead as well. A road block was eminent.

"Take them away little one."

E.T. smiled at the trio again and this time, all four bikes took to the skies. Surpassing the authorities over their heads, literally. Kara stiffened her giggle when the men who had been chasing them stopped and admitted silent defeat.

"Serves you all right."

The group flew over residencies and many populated areas so their acquaintance could get them used to the feeling before gearing them towards the iconic mountain that would lead to the forest.

"Tell me when its over." Greg no longer being able to hide his built-up fear.

"Eager to start." Natasha gave an evil smirk.

Maria added to the saying. "Quick to finish."

Another iconic moment was established when they rode across the horizon, this time over the Sunset, and the brothers' friends all followed.

For the final time, the bald spot came into view as the Traveler learned from his mistake and slowed everyone down so they could land safely. Everyone embraced the moment to hit the forest floor and slide to a stop all in a line.

The boy scurried over to the communicator, brushing off the roots that had accumulated around it. They had one more chance, they had to call the Traveler's people before they were tracked down once again. The light from the moon was indeed helpful, but after a few more brushes everyone noticed something.

The light shining from the trees was shifting. From side to side. This was not the early glow of the moon.

The inhabitants all slowly looked up as a vessel not from this world descended from the heavens. The same ship that had left from the beginning of this adventure. They had returned for their lost member.

The creature was the only one who had a look of peace and tranquility. The others had the expression that only explained one word. Unbelievable.

Kara closed her eyes dreamingly before slowly opening them revealing their heated glow again. She looked at her caretakers and they watched as impossible tears of joy leaking past her bottom eyelids. Some were even evaporating from the intense heat.

The ship's landing pegs stretched out from their hidden compartments just as Gertie's cries of shock and joy could be heard in the distance. She moved her small body ran through the grass, holding the plant that held a great significance.

E.T. turned to face her when the shuttle doors were lowering to touch the ground. Stationary lights coming to life once again.

"I just wanted to say…Goodbye." The youngling handed the plant to her friend.

"Brave little child." Kara spoke in her mind and died her glowing eyes down.

Michael put a hand on her small shoulder. "He doesn't know goodbye."

Contrary to his statement. E.T. spoke good words of wisdom for the child's future.

"Be Good."

"Yes." She leaned in to kiss his nose. Stepping back all the while, it was Michael's turn. Kara catching a glimpse of another little being moving towards the bridge walk a few feet to see what was going on.

The adolescent gently touching the side of his head.

"Thank….you."

"You're Welcome."

The Traveler set the beautiful plant down by his webbed feet.

Mary and keys came through the darkness, for goodness sake nobody else did.

The moment had come. The Alien patiently waiting as his first friend approached him. Everyone necessarily taking steps back to give them their moment.

The beautiful music returned as they now stood in front of each other, the Traveler's long neck stretching to meet at eye level.

"Come."

He gestured with his hands. Kara understanding that neither wanted to be separated despite this journey's end.

"Stay."

His protruding illumines heart pounding strong with its hum. After a few more gestures recalling their precious moments, the creature brought him into his personal space. Beings from different worlds hugging lovingly. Kara raised one of Natasha's hands to press her lips against the knuckles. Mary eyeing the two while kneeling.

E.T.'s people gazing, Elliott's siblings expressing farewell sorrow, their friends in the distance enduring culture shock.

A thin closed hand raised with one protruding long finger resting on the boy's forehead.

It glowed.

"I'll. Be. Right. Here."

Maria rubbed the blonde's collar, silently telling her to not hold back or erase her joyous sobs.

The sound of arrival horns initiating the approaching climax. He picked up his precious plant. A sample to take home to his peers, and the symbol of his life here on this planet. No inhabitant made a movement as the Alien waddled up the bridge, he purposely slowed down his pace, knowing that he wasn't planning to turn around.

The Canine who had been brought along ran up the entrance but immediately came back down, being satisfied that he had caught the scent of the friend he had first despised for the last time. Elliott petting his luscious mane.

The Stationary lights going out, music intensifying, and the bridged raised.

The Becketts gave all the attention to the screen as the mistake that had been made towards the Traveler came undone. His neck long up, plant sample by his side, and chest out with its magnificent glow. Kara doing the same with her eyes for the third time.

The horns blew loud in four beats before silence.

"Goodbye little one." Her lip trembling. The ocarina melody stole the musical spotlight as the shuttle doors began to close slowly around his view of the people who had become his caretakers. Concluding the Traveler's adventure on this world. Something about this film told the Kryptonian he would never return. "Goodbye."

The ship took off into the skies, this time at a slower pace. Everyone smiled as the wind from the engines blew strongly. They were at peace knowing they had witness life beyond their planet. The ship left the atmosphere just as it painted a streak of colors for the inhabitants. A silent thank you for their accomplishments.

Keys being filled with joy he had not felt since his childhood, Mary laughing in awe, Michael holding his baby sister, and the group having new found respect for Elliott.

The brave boy's face was the last thing the family saw as the drums echoed. He would not see his friend again. But he would stay in his memories till the end of his days.

The little being from across the stars.

The Extra Terrestrial.

The screen went dark.

The girl twisted into the arms of Maria, the brunette soothing her by brushing her hair behind her back.

"He's home now." she whispered.

Kara spoke into her neck. "That was beautiful, I will never forget what you have shown me."

Natasha turned the television off and worked quickly to clean the bed and gathered the remaining bags of chips and candy to stash them away in the kitchen.

It was late already. And the Becketts had a ceremony to attend in the morning.

With all the lights now off in the room, the Russian expertly pulled the covers from underneath them and brought the thick sheets over their forms. The women closed around the girl, shielding her. They would all sleep in the same bed tonight. Maria accepting the goodnight kiss from her Baby and they all instinctively snuggled tighter.

A new adventure awaited them. It was a Small World after all.

Darcy and Ian had the sides of their heads pressed to each other as the credits to "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" rolled. They had the brightness dimmed since the whole area inside the plane was dark. People were heard snoring along with Erik, Thor, and Jane. Although she wasn't as loud, had a massive trail of drool going down the corners of her mouth.

"Well that was good." Ian adjusted the blanket around his Boss and him.

"Totally." She gently closed the laptop. "The one film before E.T."

After placing it back into her bag she took off her glasses and fixed herself to where she rested her head near her Intern's neck. She gently kissed the sensitive spot muttering a fair "Goodnight." Despite approximately three hours from now they would be landing onto U.S. soil.

A/N: Glad you guys made it through this. Stay tuned for more. Who's excited for Endgame? I know I am.
