Disney Contemporary Resort- Walt Disney World- shores of Bay Lake.
The dark haired-woman shifted her head against her pillow soothingly. Her eyes fluttering then quickly screwed shut due to the literally cold faint breaths hitting her neck now that she was coming out of a needed slumber. The sleeping blonde laid just as she was the night before. In between her caretakers protected from potential threats that wouldn't come. After watering her eyes from rapid blinking, the brunette's vision finally returned. She looked down to see her Baby awake and planting pecks all over the back of Kara's neck.
Maria immediately grinned. She could get use to this. Peacefully waking up for more than four nights in a row could set a record that would be constantly broken thanks to the future mornings to come.
Natasha finished pressing her lips to Kara's ear before graciously lifting her head to kiss her woman good morning. They stayed how they were, only breathing out of their flaring nostrils until the girl smothered in between them began to stir.
When they separated, they looked at each other lovingly, the day had come.
"This stays on at all times." Kristin brought the lanyard over Logan's neck while Avril adjusted her torrents of golden hair.
The girl lifted the necklace to her once again covered eyes. The image of the bright haired beautiful woman in the elegant dress raising her hand demonstrating the capitalized unreadable words, a clearance badge of sorts since both Maria and Natasha were wearing them. She let it fall across her torso.
The Becketts now stood in the faintly crowded monorail that had got them out of the giant lodging. The blonde couldn't resist bouncing on the tips of her booted feet the closer they were getting to the palace.
Natasha secured the Nike Brasilia backpack over her shoulders despite the sweater she sported. All Becketts were back in the same clothing they had arrived in, undergarments being an exception. The executive tightening her grip on her handbag, her shades and loose hair hiding all traces of Maria Hill.
Kara could feel the movement through her feet. The vessel was starting to slow down as they past multiple emerald shining trees.
The recorded voice of an announcer came on. "As you approach the entrance, please keep your party together and have your tickets and Magic bands ready."
The large dome building that was now absent of all color came into view, earning a grin from the girl.
The redhead spoke to her. "Space Mountain looks better in the day doesn't it?"
They past it being shielded by more trees, terminals, and bodies of water.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are currently holding for further traffic clearance. Please remember to stay clear of all automatic doors, thank you."
She turned in all directions when people showed their dissatisfaction through grunts and eye rolls. Lucky for these tourists the monorail was moving again after a few minutes.
Maria could see the tip of the castle in the distance, she turned to her family. "We're almost there."
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are approaching our station at the Main Street U.S.A. gateway to the sixteen lands of the Magic Kingdom, smoking is not permitted in the kingdom except in designated areas please consult…."
The vessel exited the line of trees to make way for the view that made Kara's eyes shine. They slowly rode across a designated plaza containing very few people and a beautiful styled garden. Behind it all was an ancient but elegant rectangular bell tower with multiple symbolic podiums. Was this the entrance to this Kingdom? The faint glimpse of the palace behind it answered her question. The monorail was coming to a complete stop at the designated drop off.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, please collect your belongings, watch your head and step, and take small children by the hand, we hope you're enjoy your day at the Magic Kingdom."
The parents gripped her by her elbows, the shuttle doors sliding, and they were the first ones out. The morning shine of the Sun hitting their faces encouraged the family to speed walk towards the open plaza. Since there wasn't many people except for the group that still needed to catch up to them, the women let her go and allowed her to give a quick jog towards the garden. Logan spun on her heels with closed eyes, absorbing the rays of this world's Star before turning to face her caretakers, striking a beautiful pose. Avril having the camera out already and taking several shots.
"Look at her." Natasha smirked. "and we haven't even been inside yet."
Maria handed her the camera and jogged towards her daughter, scooping her up by the waste and spinning furiously, but playfully. The laughter coming from them melted the Russian's heart.
She quickly set it to video. "Entry Vlog #3, Daddy shows Baby Girl her excitement as well." Kara went up to Natasha to take the recorder from her and pointed to Maria. Getting the message, the Avenger went to her Girlfriend, entwining their fingers slowly before sealing their lips. From Kara's angle through the small screen, their heads rested below the giant solid banner reading "Let the Memories Begin." Both partners lifting a leg for a romantic dramatic effect.
When they separated with a loving nuzzle, they heard her squeal while giving a small bounce. "Krismus!" she pointed to the decorated trees sticking out of the garden ground in a pattern along with the crimson banners that hung against the rails leading to the building.
"Yes." Maria chimed taking the camera back. "Christmas is here too."
The brunette checked the footage but quickly turned off the camera when they saw a dark-skinned middle-aged woman dressed as one of the Main Street Barkers walking around the slowly building crowd.
Several groups, assuming families, had looks of excitement but quickly reverted to disappointment when the woman passed them. This went on for quite a while before she spotted the family.
"Becketts!" she pointed with a happy grin, speed walking towards them.
To Natasha's personal satisfaction, those around them threw their hands up in defeat, or whined out loud, officially being bummed out that they were not going to be the First Family this day.
Natasha and Maria remembered this procedure from the videos. They put on their best convincing broad smiles and brought Kara closer in between them.
"I knew I'd fine you here this morning." her enthusiasm rolling off her tongue. "My name is Barbara, it certainly is a pleasure to see you three bright and early, how is yall's morning so far?"
Natasha pushing her fake glasses up the bridge of her nose. "Perfect! We are ready to start the day!"
"Oh, I'm sure you are Sweetheart." She gave a wave to the blonde and out respect she looked up, made eye contact and waved back. The Barker was briefed about Logan Beckett therefore she didn't resume focus on her nor would she ask her the ultimate question. "And its only gonna get better cuz you three have been selected to open the Magic Kingdom."
"We are honored." Maria offered her hand and they shook firmly. "It's our first time here and thanks to your help this is going to be a vacation we will never forget."
"I guarantee it. So, Are you three Ready?"
Maria eyes shined behind her shades. "Yes Mam, we are."
"Keep up with me then, but no running, there's no running allowed anywhere in the park." She turned on her heel towards one of the massive side entrances. "Here we go. One. Two. Three!"
All four resisted the urge to jog in said direction. Kara spirits were lifted! They would be the first inside!
She did not care how old she was and abandoned her manners and discipline. As soon as they made it out of the tunnel leading to the Kingdom the Kryptonian shook out of her parents' grasp and cried in joy while jumping forward up and down, performing impressive front flips and finished with a double back flip. She slid her eyewear up the bridge of her nose and secured her headgear.
"Well look at you all excited now!" Barbara clapped with gloved hands.
Natasha pulled her beanie lower over her scalp, tossed her bag to the floor and sprinted to perform the exact same display of athletics except for the double back flip being less high. Maria rolled her eyes and took off her shades to hold one ear hook in her mouth. Unholstering the case containing the camera into her handbag, she tossed it to her Baby and built enough momentum to balance herself on one hand, before throwing herself in their direction. This time performing multiple back flips and ended with a forward seeking corkscrew flip
Barbara laughed at the impressive display. "We got a family of gymnasts!"
Maria swayed her hair with a hand on her hip, seductively putting her shades back on. "Thirty-eight years old and I still got it."
The woman couldn't hide her shock at the revelation. "Woo, Sweetheart tell me your secret" she joked.
Kara had already picked up Natasha's bag and gripped the shoulder handles for the redhead to slide her arms into them. The Avenger in secret booped her nose and walked closer to her Girlfriend to bring the case holding the camera over her neck.
Maria adjusted her hair, took her handbag and right in front of Barbara, kissed her woman passionately. Their lips visibly puckered but soon parted. "I have the best teacher anyone could ask for." The blonde came from behind and hugged her father. "And my Baby Girl who we both raised on our own."
She lied straight through her teeth, but the story was bought by the cast member, who had an understanding look at seeing such a rare beautiful family.
She changed the subject quickly. "You guys are the first ones here!" she swayed her arms for all three to see the decorated light posts of the entrance to Main Street U.S.A. "Go ahead take it all in!"
"Krismus!" the girl left their side to spin multiple times in different directions "Krismus!!" the gardens around the circular passageway were decorated with smaller trees and modeled soldiers. Cylinder tubes that were painted crimson and white were protruding from the ground as well.
"Come here." Kristin chimed offering her hand just as someone was approaching them from one of the antiqued buildings.
Barbara introduced the elderly appearing man. "This wonderful man right here, is the new Mayor on Main Street." He was now close enough for the family to greet. He wore a dark expensive tuxedo with long tail coats, his polished shoes tapping the ground loudly. On his head was an elegant top hat but it was his features that got all three's attention. He was old. Really old and he didn't even have the use of a cane. His features have decreased of their youth decades ago and perched upon his lips was a bushy white mustache with slight tints of grey. His eyes were covered by bronze shades, only these had a round shape to them.
Kara tightened her mouth to obscure her shock, she had seen this man before. On the morning that Steve had instructed her as best he could to retrieve one of his uniforms. This Elder had a different uniform then. What was he doing here in the Kingdom?
"Morning True Believers!" his raspy but angelic voice full of energy. "Ready to help us open the Magic Kingdom?"
Avril shook hands with his white gloved palm. "We sure are sir." He proceeded to do the same with Kristin and Logan. He even ignored the curious glare the blonde kept giving him.
Knowing he had to get into position, he politely bowed and dismissed himself. "Very good, we'll see you up there in just a few!" he headed for the massive stairway behind the Bell Tower. Kara waving goodbye while marveling the back view of the structure.
"Ok Becketts since its almost time, we're gonna take some pictures." She pointed in the direction of the enormous Christmas Tree taller than any building near them. "Then we'll go straight up."
Avril pulled out the camera. "Entry vlog #4, first ones in The Magic Kingdom." She gave a small spin of her feet to record the entire visible area. Kristin cupped Logan's shoulders, the redhead whispering in her ear while pointing at the Christmas tree. Her daughter not being able to stop herself from bouncing. "How are my girls so far?" Kristin shifted them both to face the camera, Logan waving at the screen while her Mother nuzzled her neck.
Barbara snapped them back into focus. "Alright, alright here we are, feel free to take pictures of Main Street U.S.A.!"
Finally, they had reached the long corridor of still closed establishments. Kara looked up at the immense height of the tree one last time before turning to face what laid down the lane.
The Palace!
She cried in joy again, hugging her mother and lifting her by the waste to spin towards the trolley tracks. When they separated, Kristin and Logan still had their hands entwined. There was no end to the girl's bouncing.
And the Kryptonian did not care.
"Look at yourself, you are acting like a child." The words echoed in her brain. "There is no need for this level of maturity.
She simply did not care. Nobody in this kingdom was judging her. Her caretakers were happy for her. The Hostess wasn't even surprised by her behavior. This Kingdom welcomed whoever walked through the gates. And she would enjoy herself here. A new world, previously unexplored.
She calmed down the more her mother kept grinning. The older woman cupping the side of her face. "We love you. We love you and we're glad you like it here."
Maria ended the footage and adjusted the settings of the camera. A white flash caught the two's attention. "I want my girls to pose!"
The dark-skinned woman encouraged the two as well. "C'mon Cutie pose with Mommy! Move a little so the castle can be seen!" she ushered with her hands.
Kristin wrapped her arms around Logan's waste figuring this would work as a starter pose. Avril snapping two shots before nodding in approval "Now another."
The redhead scooped the blonde's legs from under her, carrying her bridal style. The Kryptonian's Converse boots wiggling while she giggled.
"Perfect!" Barbara grinned. She turned to Maria. "Now its your turn Sweetheart, have one with your Baby."
"You read my mind." She gave a confident smirk. She gestured for Kara to come to her. Placing the camera in her hands and visually showing her where to keep her thumb to snap the pictures. The girl nodded and Maria slipped Barbara a fifty.
"Thanks, dear! You're too kind."
"Come here often?" the brunette slowly walked to her Baby.
The spy played along. "First time here, may I express my never-ending gratitude?" arms slithering around her neck. Hands being placed on her hips.
"You may."
Barbara went behind Kara to instruct the girl with her hands on finding a certain angle where the castle could be seen with Maria and Natasha sealing their lips in front of it dead in the middle. When both lifted a leg two snaps were taken.
"Now another!" the Barker cried with glee.
Maria crouched and gentle pressed Natasha's stomach to sit on her shoulder. In less than a second, she was lifted with Natasha finishing the pose by crossing a knee over the other and Maria confidently resting her free hand on a hip. Kara grinning as she pushed the button.
"Let's tie this one up folks." She clapped. "Let's get one with Daddy and Baby Girl."
Avril creased her knee so Kristin could use it as a stepping stone to get off and took the camera from Kara. The blonde knowing that she had yet to make a memory with her father.
The brunette lowering to sit on the polished concrete floor. Her arms out. "Come here Missy."
The blonde giggling as she sat in Maria's lap. Leather jacket arms protectively holding her. They were for sure to get a view of Cinderella's castle now.
"Work the camera girls!" the Barker clapped repeatedly. Natasha, remembering her skills as a model photographer and moved to different angles with bent knees.
The two on the floor realizing what was happening now started to turn their heads, swaying their arms, and puckering their lips. The girl's confidence in representing a presentational Model shined with Maria guiding her.
The last snap was of Kara still sitting in her lap. Legs laid straight out while Maria's were spread but creased at the knees forming v shapes, the bottoms of her shoes planted directly on the ground. An arm swayed over the Avengers logo with Kara's own arm gripping it. the other limbs had their hands entwined. Hair was purposely mixed but just enough for their faces to still be seen. Maria stared at the lenses with her buxom lips still pushed out, Kara puckering her supple ones and planted them directly onto the cleft on her father's chin, eyes still focused in Natasha's direction.
Barbara pulled her sleeve back to see the time, the joyous hustle was back in her voice. "It's time Becketts!"
Avril and Logan laughing as they got up, Kristin giving the camera back to her Girlfriend.
Barbara guided them completely around the Christmas circle garden towards the back of the tower entrance, the glee in Kara's face slightly leaving the farther they got away from the palace. As instructed, they didn't run. Only hustled behind the hostess.
"Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!" she began to clap again. she gestured towards Maria to continue.
"My, oh, my, what a wonderful day." Her beautiful voice grazed Kara's ears, the Kryptonian was proud of her.
Barbara was pleased.
"Plenty of sunshine heading our way."
Natasha took over after clearing her throat.
"Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!"
The woman turned around but kept walking up the now stairless upper walkways. "Yes! You three are definitely ready!"
As soon as they reached the top of the right side of the tower the Becketts could see the same crimson banners on the rails that led to the plaza below. Barbara opened the two massive wooden doors in the middle of the building.
"Now go inside please, go inside."
The indoors rectangular structure was the same as the outside. Old and antiqued yet renovated throughout the decades. Pictures, portraits, and certificates scattered all over the walls going perfect with the atmosphere. There was even a none colored portrait of an inhabitant that looked like Anthony shaking hands with another aged man with tired but joyous eyes. There was even one of Anthony himself flying over the palace in his crimson golden armor. Now Kara had a better understanding of this ancient bell tower, it was a memorial exhibit.
"Now if you would please walk over to the star." Barbara shut the doors and caught up to them. "The star right here."
She pointed to the ground where the detailed symbol was drawn, right in front of another set of doors leading to metallic tracks outside.
Natasha and Maria scurrying fast so that Kara stood between them and the family's feet covering the star as much as possible.
"Now tell me what you see?" her palms pointed at their shoes.
Maria adjusted her shades. "A Star."
"And do you know what that means?"
"….."
"It means you three are the stars of the day, Becketts." She grinned happily. "Out of all those people down there, you are in the star spot!"
Natasha and Maria eyed each other with pride, who knew that visiting one of the greatest theme parks in the world and with just a little words of kindness from this Main street cast member was enough to get through their shell and accept that they were being part of something that happened once in millennia. Even if it wasn't world threatening related.
She wasn't finished. "Magic goes on in the Magic Kingdom every single day, this is your day, cherish it, honor it." she leaned in to boop the girl's button nose. Kara surprising her parents and let go of their elbows to move forward and hug Barbara. The Barker was surprised herself since this didn't often happen to her, but she hugged the small girl's body back. The blonde wasn't done and cupped the well-dressed woman's face and pressed her lips to the dark-skinned forehead followed by one on each cheek. "Oh Sweetie, you're too kind, way too kind." She rubbed one of her cheeks that had just met warm lips.
She eyed Natasha. "She is Precious, always take care of her."
"She helped give my life more meaning." The Russian cupped one of her daughter's sleeve to bring her back. "She is mine as she is hers."
Maria lowered her shades to show the truth in them before setting them back on their bridge spot.
The woman pulled her sleeve again for a final time check. "In less than twelve minutes the Magic will begin." she started walking backwards to the doorway but still faced them. "I'd gladly shake your hand again Ms. Beckett but I'm afraid I have a post to get to, so I'll finish with this." she now stood outside. "Thank you for coming here. It's not everyday one of Mr. Stark's own people come to the Walt Disney World Resort. You said down there that you, along with your family felt honored….well it us who feel honored in having you here. Cherish your Queen and your Princess, until the end of time!" she left just as Kara extended her hand out to her.
From where they came from, the doors opened wide and in walked a variety of handsome men and beautiful woman. The inhabitants wearing designated dressed uniforms. Some were emerald colored while others were a bright crimson. Others who did not appear as excited walked in to move to the back. They wore the same colored attire as Barbara.
The Main Street Citizens have arrived.
A man came up to them in his green stripped clothes, adjusting his hat. "Becketts! Are you guys excited?"
Kristin rolled her eyes playfully with a smirk. "We'd be lying if we said we weren't!"
He laughed with a clap. "Is this your first time opening the park?"
That question always brought enlightenment no matter how many times it was asked.
Avril assured. "First time doing anything in any park."
"Better reason why today will be you guy's greatest Disney Day!" he moved away from their middle view to allow a pampered face blondie by his side, her attire the same color but with a long skirt high enough for her boots to be seen.
"Good morning!" her red lips parted revealing pearly white teeth. Logan stiffening her giggle with a sleeve covered palm and waved to them.
"Places people!" another man called among the matching crowd. Soon enough everybody was going out the same doors Barbara had left. They pressed themselves to the walls of the building so no one among the growing crowd below would see them.
The doors almost closed again but were pried open by an unexpected guest. At least to the family it was unexpected.
It was another beautiful woman, around Kara's age. Her extravagant hair was the same as Natasha's only a bit lighter, with a single pale highlight within the tightened scalp. The majority was tied in two professional braids that hung forward over her shoulders. Her torso was sheltered by an odd purple coat just enough to reveal light blue dress sleeves. From the waist down a dark cerulean skirt shined with matching emblems. Dark heeled boots could be seen from the shins down.
Princess Anna of Arendelle was here! She turned to face them with a happy giddy smile plastering her light red lips.
"Elsa c'mon! The Becketts are here!"
The voice of an older woman could be heard on the other side. "I'm coming Anna there's no need to rush!"
In came another magnificent beauty. Kara had to gasp a little. Judging by how this woman's facial features were identical, the younger one had to have been her sister! She had a more back straightened posture, her palms on her lap. Her hair, a rare color that Kara had seen on certain individuals before, was styled in one of the most exotic and majestic ways possible. A mane that could rival Kara's in thickness and length. The Kryptonian didn't even know how it was possible for her scalp hair to be pushed up with massive strands waving to the sides and behind her ears. The long braid with glistening jewelry holding it together was brought over her left shoulder. Rao above, her neck was long and thick. The cosmetics applied to her face were a perfect fit despite her darker red lips. Her dress, a piece that only Rao could carve, had an ice themed visual. Her translucent long sleeves went perfectly with the long shoulder veil going past her glass heels, it even covered her collar to obscure her gentle cleavage. For a moment Kara thought the attire was made from the snow and ice of the coldest blizzards in existence.
Queen Elsa, Ruler of Arendelle, strolled in grasping her sister's elbow. Giving it a nonvisible squeeze to ease her excitement.
Natasha leaned over to whisper to her Girlfriend. "I admit, I'm impressed by their commitment to the roles."
The brunette tilted her head while rubbing Kara's shoulders. "I heard its supposed to make up if they get the job but don't entirely look the part. But these girls take acting to a whole new level."
The sisters got closer, prompting the former agents to endure their acting.
"Hi!" Anna bounced on her heels, showing the same mannerisms as Kara earlier.
Elsa nodded with a bow. "Welcome to the Magic Kingdom."
"Your Majesty." Avril bowed back. Elsa being impressed by the woman's politeness and sense of respect.
"Don't be shy Logan." The princess came in the girl's personal space and although Kara wasn't threatened or scared, she concealed her blush behind sleeved palms. The happy woman even opened her arms for a hug. She truly was an inhabitant with a cheerful spirit. They were meeting for the first time and she was already offering a caring friendship.
"Go." She turned to face her mother signaling her head. "Hug her, its Princess Anna!"
The permission was all she needed and embraced the princess tightly. Avril pulling out the camera to take a few shots. Anna laughed as the girl, who she was told to be gentle with by the Hotel and Park operations associates, breathed in the scent of her neck. She resisted the urge to give a happy coo and instead patted her back softly. When they parted, she gestured to the Snow Queen.
"This is my great and powerful sister, Elsa!"
The platinum blonde gave a regal bow and Kara paused for a second with a tilted head. She raised the clearance badge that had been placed around her neck. The Queen eyed the rare badge and stepped back to pose exactly like the picture, hand out and dress swaying in the unseen wind.
It was her!
The Ruler turned back on her heel to find the young girl in her personal space now. Elsa stared past the glasses riddling Logan Beckett's freckled button nose to see those, beautiful blue haggard vein invested eyes that matched her irises. The girl's hair concealed by her beanie didn't hide its flawlessness, her own braid resting over her shoulder as well.
"Oh Logan, you are the perfect image of your Mother." She booped her nose. "I'm Elsa." She rested a French Manicured hand on her collar. "Queen Elsa."
All four including the dark suited cast members in the corner watched in awe as Logan slowly lifted her palms to cup the sides of the Queen's face.
"El..sa" she rubbed her thumbs across pale cheeks. "Elsa."
Elsa closed her eyes when soft lips met her forehead, chin, cheeks, and finished with the bridge of her nose. Unknown to anyone. An ancient Kryptonian tradition to acknowledge and respect the fairest figure of an authority or Official.
"Elsa your beauty is worthy of being unrivaled." She whispered in her language out loud. Making Natasha and Maria internally cringe so hard they almost pulled her away. "Rao bless your soul for giving you such a gift." She finished the tradition with applying her lips gently to Elsa's. The Snow Queen's slim brows raising high, her sister stared with awe. The girl meant no harm. They were aware of her condition and her expression showed nothing but respect.
That was enough for Kristin to act. "No." she yanked Logan's elbow, the girl now realizing what she had done, and her expression turned submissive when her mother gave her a calm but stern glare. "Don't do that."
The Queen held her palm to halt the cast members, knowing they would obey since the actress was secretly Primary Head of Security, and Head First Manager of the Magic Kingdom theme park.
Avril put the camera back in the pouch and pointed a finger to Logan's chin harshly. "You don't do that Missy, do you understand?" she raised her shades to rest on her forehead. "We love you, that's why we brought you here, but you don't greet people that way. Especially her."
Kara visibly swallowed hard. She deserved to be scolded. She had to remember these people didn't share or knew her People's accustoms. The blonde lowered her head in shame, by what she had done and the ache of Krypton's fate returning by the second.
It was Natasha's turn. The Russian cupping her chin. "What made you do that?" Kara's brows creased in fear. "If you kiss someone out of appreciation, it's with us. We raised you to know from right and wrong. Don't ever do that again."
Even Anna was starting to visibly shudder at the Mother's tone of voice. She eyed Elsa, who was already calculating how to take control of the situation. She turned a final time with a hard glare to one of the cast members who looked like they were going to report in on the walkie. He slowly put it away, letting his superior take it from here.
Natasha and Maria's disapproval disappeared, being replaced by worry as the girl's lip was on the verge of trembling, her hand going to the gauntlet under her sleeve.
The actress playing the Queen activated the MK4 Frost Dispensers installed under the sleeves of her wrists, courtesy of Stark Industries.
The Becketts raised their heads to see tiny taunts of snowflakes manifest through the air. When they lowered to see where it was coming from, Elsa had her elbows creased but palms up. The illusion of snow coming out of her hands earned an awe from Logan.
This time Anna clapped along as her sister began to swirl her hands through the air, waves of frost and harmless bits of ice floating all around them. She finished with an outstretched palm, the hidden earpiece under her hair commanded the holograms in her gadgets to kick in, a dark icy blue large snowflake shined in front of Kara's face.
She gave her own clap. Elsa was gifted! She did have an extent control over the element herself!
Being satisfied of entertaining a fanatic once again no matter what age, Elsa blew a cold breeze to the family and came up to Logan. She reached for her massive braid and pulled out one of the sparkling jewelry pins. She waited for a nod of approval from Avril. When she did the Queen reached for Kara's braid and found a spot to insert the pin to clip it.
Kara looked at her braid in disbelief.
The Queen's royal posture returned, voice taking a different tone but kept her understanding smile. She was no longer acting. "I have family just like her. It pains me to this day on how they have become but I still hold them dear to my heart." She reached to stroke Kara's chin. "You are both loving parents." She now spoke to just the SI executive. "You've worked hard to get to where you are. And you did it for your family. It always been hard but keep your daughter close to you. She's close to being of age but she needs you." she turned to the incognito Assassin. "Protect her, guide her, she knows to do the same."
Logan smiled at the Queen's undetectable but powerful words.
Lips belonging to her parents were planted on her cheeks. She didn't expect them to apologize for their reactions. Silent reconciliation was already being made. The official even revealed who she truly was in terms of park employment and that Mr. Stark would not be hearing from this or the other Associates. Avril was just glad this disguised royal woman was able to convince them to return to what they came here for.
Exploring this Welcoming Kingdom.
And just like that, the Bells chimed!
Kara's head shot up towards the ceiling, she heard correctly, the bells were chiming!
"Elsa! Its time to open the park!"
The Manager snapped her fingers, she was Queen Elsa again. "Right you are Baby Sister." It melted Kara's heart to see the siblings nuzzle their noses.
She tilted to face her mother who gripped her braid to adjust it. "We love you."
Maria leaned to nibble her earlobe whispering. "We'll always love you…..my little Logan….my light in my formal dark world…..my precious baby girl….my unstoppable Supergirl, if there is a heaven, you were sent to us."
Before the alien could react, the speakers from outside came to life, a woman's voice echoed across the garden.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, good morning and welcome to The Most Magical Place on Earth: The Magic Kingdom. We now invite you to move to the center of the Mickey floral, in front of the Main Street Railroad Station, for the best viewing location of the Magic Kingdom Welcome show. Beginning now!"
The sound of a large crowd cheered and yelled to the sky.
Maria got the camera out. "Entry vlog #5, the park opens, let the ceremony begin!"
Kara tilted her head as the bells chimed again. This time in a melody of six beats.
"Welcome, Welcome, Welcome….." Anna sang holding her sister's hands. The microphone in her ear now tuned to the speakers.
"Welcome, Welcome, Welcome….." Elsa followed.
(Magic Kingdom Welcome Show)
"A Kingdom full of Endless dreams, for every Girl and Boy!"
Anna danced towards them, cheerfully startling Kara.
"Wonderous lands of make believe, will fill your heart with Joy!"
Elsa followed with the same movements.
"A Castle leads the entrance way to seven lands and more!"
The cast members in the back opened a secret large window, revealing Main Street U.S.A. with the Palace in the distance. Kara cheered and left her parents side to approach the view better.
"Step inside our story book, imagine what's in Store!"
The announcer was ignored as Natasha embraced her lover with Maria turning the camera to face them. "Welcome Baby." They kissed passionately.
Anna taking Kara's hand by surprise, bringing her into a dance.
"Its all Pure Magic, wrapped up in Pixie Dust!"
Elsa stepped in to take Kara for a spin, the girl squealing in joy at the chorus.
"Welcome to a place where Dreams come True!"
Maria recorded her daughter moving with the characters.
"A timeless Journey, through lands of Fantasy!"
"Where only a wish, creates things like this to Appear!"
Elsa let go to spin with her palms out, shooting more barrages of white snow. The sisters professionally maneuvering Kara with their dancing to where she was back in the middle with her parents. Maria and Natasha sang along with Elsa and Anna. Beautiful voices echoing to the crowd.
"The Most Magical Place on Earth, is Here!"
Such precision! Such beauty! It all threatened to bring the Kryptonian to tears. The melody kept going throughout the speakers, there seemed no end despite the singing having stopped.
The old man could be seen coming over the railings to acknowledge the people below.
"Hey there True Believers! Allow me to introduce myself. I am the newly appointed Mayor of Main Street U.S.A. It's time to gather around everyone because we are officially going to open the Magic Kingdom!" the crowd erupted wildly, all while Maria recorded him do a jig with a cane that was tossed to him.
"However, we can't open the park just yet, not until Mickey and all the gang arrive on the Walt Disney Railroad. As you see, he is very busy getting ready to create new memories, so let the memories begin!" he turned to the citizens pressed against the walls of the tower. "Greeting everyone, why don't you say hi to all our guests?!"
They joined the Mayor at the edge of the rails, making themselves known. Kara clearly hearing the melody change.
"Hi there! Good to see you! Hello Welcome!"
Of course! These inhabitants were performers! They got into position, nothing but confidence radiant off their auroras.
"Good morning, good morning, its great to stay up late good morning, good morning, to you!"
"And you and you and you!"
They took turns pointing at each other. Gaining laughs and head bobs from the only alien in the Magic Kingdom.
"Good morning, good morning, sun beams will soon shine through good morning good morning, to You!"
Maria swayed her hips to the melody as she sung.
"When the band began to play, the Stars were shining Bright!"
Natasha mimicking her every move.
"Now the Milkman's on his way, its too late to say Goodnight!"
It was Kara's turn to do as they were doing but the Arendelle sisters took it away.
"So good morning, good morning, Rainbows are shining through good morning, good morning to you!"
The Mayor politely interrupted again. "Today is actually a very special day as you can see Mickey has invited the Beckett Family from Malibu, California to take a ride with him on the Walt Disney World Steam train so they can help our beloved Mouse open the park and spread a little Disney Magic. So, is everybody ready?!"
The Main Street Citizens and people brought more Disney cheer.
"Good Morning!"
"Good Morning!"
"To Youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!"
Just as they reached that high note, Kara's advanced hearing picked up something. A loud machine was coming from the distance on the left side of the building. A noise that overtook the whole crowd.
The train horn flared loud and strong making her jolt a little.
"Did you hear that Logan?" Anna asked with a proud grin. "I think I hear Casey Junior!"
The drum rolls were in sync with the vessel coming closer.
The sisters came in front of the Becketts, the eldest spinning the youngest in the air before they settled down to sing again.
"Casey Junior's coming down the track, coming down the track with a Smoky Stack!"
They entwined their arms and rolled them to resemble wheel and axes.
"Here him puffing coming round the hill, Casey's here to thrill, Every Jack and Jill!"
The sisters issued the family to finally step outside the doors, by Rao's warming light, a massive crimson vessel resembling a primitive monorail was pulling into the center of the tower.
The mayor was pleased. "Behold true Believers, the Steam train is arriving, now we can open the park!"
Maria quickly gave Elsa the camera and she pulled Kara more towards the station area, she lifted her daughter bridal style and spun furiously on her heels, all while she sang.
"Time for Lemonade and Crackerjack, Casey Junior's back, Casey Junior's back again!"
"By my Ancestors! This Kingdom thrives off happiness and singing!" the alien spoke out loud over the music "I never knew such a place existed!" her feet touched the ground again but when her parents kept her in the middle they resorted to swaying their hips again, Kara joining in on time.
"Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!"
Elsa motioned for them to sing just as Barbara did. The Girlfriends complied.
"My, oh, my what a wonderful day!"
"Plenty of sunshine heading my way!"
Kara mustered her throat muscles and did her best to join Maria and Natasha.
"Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!"
It was an instant regret since she grabbed her throat at the sudden ache from forcing syllables that never touched her tongue. From the start she didn't know what she was saying, it was merely fun to say and hear it in the music. She hid it however and left her caretakers so that they could entwine their hands and gaze into each other's eyes. Maria singing the male part while her Baby did the female lyrics.
Elsa recording with a loving look and Anna resting her head on a shoulder.
"Casey Junior's coming down the track, coming down the track with a Smoky Stack!"
(Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay! My, Oh, My what a wonderful day!)
"Here him puffing, coming round the hill, Casey's here to thrill, every Jack and Jill!"
(Plenty of sunshine heading my way! Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!)
The vessel had finally stopped, its engines soothing down along with the Music. Maria took the camera back and all three were issued through the hardened seats to the other side where the rails met the garden.
It was almost too spectacular to be true. The once open area that housed very few groups was now packed beyond equal spacing. These inhabitants were here to explore the Kingdom as well. She took deep breaths. They did not know her. They were merely here for the festivities. Her caretakers showing up next to her to oversee the people as well. They even waved, encouraging her to do the same.
She watched them rise in joy for the first time as two individuals approached them. One of them was the elder, the other almost made her eyes glow in trembling shock.
The Obsidian bipedal friendly creature she had seen in the informational sheet was up here with them! Along with several others she didn't even want to begin to identify. One however did resemble a canine, and another was a hilariously deformed creature made of snow, with large round eyes, a piece of vegetation resembling a nose, and tree limbs representing three fingered arms.
Anna came around to hug Olaf.
"Lets all here it for Mickey!" the mayor issued the Mouse to come closer near the Becketts. Avril and Kristin chuckling when Logan gripped their elbows the closer, he came to them in his dressed attire.
Everyone clapped at seeing the icon character since the golden age of this special world.
"Ah gee, Haha, Hi everybody, gosh its great to see ya, Haha!"
It speaks! The bipedal can speak!
"Gee Mickey we thought you'd never make it, it sure is great to see all of your friends here with us." the elder gestured to the top platform they were on that was already getting crowed with the performers and characters.
"Relax Kara, its just Mickey." Maria whispered with a hand on her shoulder.
"So, Mickey are we ready to open the Magic Kingdom?"
"Yep we sure are, aren't we gang?"
Kara could see Elsa and her sister agreeing with everyone else who either nodded or cheered.
"Great well, let's say hello and give a good morning to the Beckett Family so that they could help us spread some Disney Magic how bout it?"
The Mouse blinked rapidly for a few seconds with his massive eyes. "Gosh that's swell." He gazed upon Logan, the girl almost yelping at the sudden greeting. "Hi there, Haha, thanks for helping us today!"
He offered his big gloved hand. Not wanting to be rude, the blonde extended her hand out to shake it. putting on the best smile she had all morning.
"See? He's not bad." Natasha nodded in assurance.
"Nuff said folks, now lets countdown from ten to open the park. Mickey, you may do the honors."
Kara looked at the tower to hear drums rolling again for something special.
"Ok gang count nice and loud. Here. We. Go. And."
"Nat, get her to focus!" she called over the loud screams.
The redhead spun her baby girl by the shoulders and extended her fingers outwards. "Count Missy."
Ten.
Nine.
Eight.
Seven.
The Avenger folded her fingers the lower depleted time.
Six.
Five.
It was a countdown! But for what?!
Four.
Three.
Maria rotated a full three hundred and sixty degrees to record the final moments of her family being up here. History that would potentially never to repeat itself.
Two.
The alien raised the final finger.
"ONE!" everyone yelled within the park radius.
"Oh boy Haha, Welcome to the Magic Kingdom everybody!"
The mayor handed Natasha a mic where as Elsa handed another to Maria.
The Girlfriends were given the climactic honor of the final chorus. The fireworks shooting behind the bell tower earned a lot of praises from children and families.
"Its all pure Magic, wrapped up in Pixie Dust!"
Kara took the still recording camera, with the intention of letting her caretakers have another moment.
"Welcome to a place where Dreams come true!"
"A timeless journey, through lands of Fantasy!"
Natasha and Maria got closer.
"Where only a wish, creates things like this to appear!"
The Snow queen did the audience a favor and set her Frost Dispensers to full capacity, firing yards of snow that blew across the heads of the civilians. Kara recording the beautiful woman for a few seconds.
"The most Magical place!"
"The most Magical place!"
Their foreheads touched.
"The Most Magical Place On Earth, is Here!"
The former agents' vocal chords never once cracked and they dragged the note longer than necessary, but it was a nice finishing touch.
The park was officially open. People clapped as they headed inside the gates.
The Mayor politely took the mic back.
"Thank you everyone for being a part of our Disney family, and a special thanks to the Beckett Family for helping us open the park. Goodbye everyone, and we'll see you inside to let the Memories Begin."
Mickey threw his fist into the air. "Have a fantastic Disney day! Until then I bid you, EXCELSIOR HAHA!"
"Hey, that's my line!"
A good portion of the crowd doubled over laughing at the Mayor's stolen moment.
And just like that, the ceremony had concluded. But this day was far from over for the new family. Kara gave the device back to her father and the leather jacket woman brought her girls into her arms, planting her lips on the top of their scalps.
Only the best for her family.
Only the best.
