Edward ran the vision over and over in his mind. The Volturi kings never left the castle to deal with rogue vampires. They sent their guard in their place. Aro might go himself to know the extent of the damage if the infraction is severe enough. He asked Alice to keep an eye on Aros' decisions to figure out what is the true reason for all three kings to leave Volterra. He had a bad feeling that somehow Aro had gotten word about Bella from Victoria or any other vampire. All he could do was think of the mess he had created. He should have never let Victoria live. He should have never fallen for Bella and told her his secret. He should have learned to be alone by now. Now he had doomed everyone he loved.

Bella tried to remain calm whenever she went to school. Although the Cullen's were not allowed to go to school with her they were still able to be in the town. She knew Edward and Emmett spent the days outside of the school trying to see her. They both relentlessly sent her messages, emails, calls and letters. All of which she ignored. She hadn't opened a single one or answered any calls. Jake or Paul would always be waiting for her at the end of school just to make sure no one approached her. Bella only felt safe once she reached La Push or her home.

She stopped looking around her whenever she was in town out of fear of catching a glimpse of Edward or Emmett again. The first time she saw Edward her heart surged with hatred, sadness, fear and longing. He had such an intense look in his eyes. They spoke volumes in a fraction of a second. He wanted to be near her but as always she wasn't alone. The guys made it clear for him to stay away. Bella tried to keep her composure but she failed miserably. When Jacob took her home she cried as he held her. It hurt her so much to see how much her pain hurt him. Not because she was crying but that the reason was because of Edward. It was clear to her that Jake loved her and it hurt him to see that she still had feelings for Edward. Jacob deserved better than a broken girl, he deserved an imprint.

Emmett on the other hand made her heart ache in a different way. When she saw him again for the first time she saw a broken vampire. His face was one of remorse and longing. If his face wasn't a clear indicator of how sorry he was the words he mouthed made it crystal clear. 'Belly-Boo'. When she saw those words form she forced herself to turn away. His voice rang in her head saying that over and over. She remembered his bear hugs and his laugh, his enthusiasm to make her blush and smile. It broke her heart. Once again she had to return home to cry in peace. She thought she could have remained angry and hate them but seeing them in person changed that. Her wounds needed more time to heal.

On the last day of May Bella and Jacob were having a relaxing day at her house. She always felt better after speaking with Jake and letting out her feelings. He never complained or judged her for still having feelings towards the Cullen's. Jake wanted to help ease her pain. It made Bella so happy to have Jake understand that even though she still had feelings towards the Cullen's it didn't mean that she loved him and the pack any less. She wanted to move on with her life but she understood that her own past would have to be resolved in order for her future to happen. Starting with killing Victoria. That evil leech had caused enough damage to her life and she wasn't going to have the wolves always be on patrol around her missing out on their own lives.

Jacob told her that it was no trouble. They were after all warriors. They exist to protect humans from vampires. He and the pack took pride in that. Besides, Jake liked the excuse to be near her. He didn't like that it was life threatening but he liked it. He and Bella have gotten closer thanks to the fact that he spends so much time around her. He just wished Bella felt the same towards him as he does towards her. But Jacob was patient and he would wait forever if he had to.

(June 1st)

The Volturi had just arrived to the Seattle Airport just as the sun set. This was by design of course, they had already planned on how the kings and the guard would arrive. The kings also took the precaution of making sure everyone was fed. Not knowing who the princess is makes things more difficult so they are not allowed to hunt females for now. None of the guard had any objection since that wouldn't last long and no one wanted to make a grave mistake.

Marcus was visibly buzzing with joy and determination as he stepped off the plane. Being closer to his daughter calmed him plus being moments from neutralizing the threat close to her gave him purpose. He hadn't participated in a fight in so long but he wouldn't sit out from this particular fight.

"Jane, Alec, Felix, Demetri." Aro called for his guard who were at his side.
"Take a few of the guards with you and scout the area. Find their hiding place. I want a full report of their numbers and movements. The sooner we deal with them the sooner we can all meet our dear Princess."

"Yes Master." The four said in unison. They were all too happy to hunt for the traitor who created an inconspicuous army.

The rest of the upper guard stayed close to their kings. The lower guard brought cars they had waiting at the airport to escort the Kings out of the airport. No need to draw more attention than necessary.

"Such a waste of power." Jane said as she watched 5 newborns fight over a human. They were in a frenzied state not being able to contain their thirst.

"Indeed." Alec replied.

Felix appeared to Jane's right.
"It appears to be a mediocre operation at best. There seem to be two leaders, one male one female, although the woman seems to be in charge." Felix said.

"Given how they are already killing each other it shouldn't be too hard to kill them all. Pity, I was looking forward to a challenge." Demetri said disappointed.

"Master Aro might have some interesting punishments in mind for the two who created them." Jane said with a devilish smile. "Besides, we have to clean this up to stop the humans from investigating further."

"True, let's head back and show him all we have learned." Demetri said.

The four guards left without disturbing the area. They had all the information they needed to take care of the situation.

Aro took the hand of his guards and took in all the information he needed. He had seen the red head before in a memory. She had the gift of evasion. He would have to neutralize her with Alec's power first. The three kings formalized a plan of attack. They wanted the leaders apprehended not killed. They wanted to know the reason behind such a deadly decision.

When they arrived to the abandoned building the newborns were hiding they set their plan into action. Most of the newborns were out hunting for their next meal. The lower guard was in charge of finding them and neutralizing them and cleaning whatever mess they had left behind. Demetri was tasked with taking in all of the individual 'tenors' of the newborn vampires so none would escape. Felix was tasked with protecting all three kings alongside Demetri and Renata. Alec and Jane made the first attack. Alec sent his power on the entire building freezing every vampire it came in contact with. The other guards quickly moved in as soon as other vampires began to escape to avoid whatever was going on. Victoria sensed something was wrong and began to escape with Riley when a wave of excruciating pain hit her and dropped her to the floor. Jane had been anticipating her escape and blocked her way out.

The kings made their way to Victoria and Riley. Aro touched random vampires to asses as much information as he could then have them dismembered. Felix held onto Victoria and Demetri held Riley. Aro motioned Jane to stop her gift.

"Aaaa. Let go of me." Victoria snarled as soon as she could speak. Her head stilled as she laid eyes upon the Volturi.

"So you do know of us." Aro said. "It's too bad you didn't obey the laws."

"I have broken no laws." Victoria said losing rationality. "I needed them to protect myself from a rogue coven."

Aro was intrigued. "And what coven might that be?"

"The Cullen's." Victoria spat out their name. "They killed my- my friend all to protect a human. They told our secret to a human. We were trying to carry out the law and they killed him!"

Caius was happy he finally had a reason to kill Carlisle. Marcus was angry that the Cullen's were more than likely the ones who hurt his daughter but he was also happy they hadn't carried out the law. Aro was upset he would have to kill his old friend for this infraction but then again he never made a decision without knowing all of the facts. Aro made his way to Victoria and touched her forehead.

"Get away from me!"
"AH!" Victoria snarled as Jane put her in her place for disrespecting the king.

Aro saw the way Victoria blamed the Cullen's for killing James when it was he who took it as a challenge to kill his niece. His niece was the girl the Cullen's were protecting and she was nearly killed. She created an army to kill her and whoever tried to protect her even if it exposed their world. She had lost all sense of rationality since the loss of her mate.

Aro withdrew his hand and glared at the red head. He was seething. His niece was the target of this army. They could have lost her if they hadn't acted in time. Death would be too merciful to her. His brother would ensure to give her a most painful death.

"It appears this situation is much more severe than we thought brothers." Aro said as he gathered his composure.

"Why?" Caius asked.

"This army was created to kill a Volturi." Aro said giving his niece full rights.

The guards hissed. A foolish attempt that would receive a severe punishment.

Aro turned to Marcus.
"It appears that our dear niece was her target." Before Aro could say more Marcus reached Victoria and ripped off her head. He dismembered her body completely beyond recognition in a matter of seconds.

The guards and the Kings watched in amazement. It had been millennia since their brother had fought but it didn't seem so now. Marcus's moves were still as fluid as water.

Marcus stood over Victoria's dismembered body seething. No one spoke. Riley watched in horror as his love was tortured in front of him. He couldn't do or say anything since Alec held him in place. Aro waited a moment before continuing where he left off.

"Our dear princesses' name is Isabella Marie Swan. A beautiful name fit for a princess." Aro said.

"Isabella." Marcus said. The name did fit her. She was just as beautiful as his dear Didyme.

"It appears she lied to her partner as to her real motives behind creating their army. Her mate was killed by the Cullen's when he hunted down our dear Isabella. He saw it as a challenge. She was nothing more than a game to him. The Cullen's protected her, they even took her out of the state but he followed. Since his death she has been plotting ways to kill her and the ones who protect her. She was even trying to get to her father and came close once." Aro said as he recalled a few memories from Victoria.

Marcus stood over the shredded remains of Victoria and glared at them. He wanted to burn her but that would be too merciful. He was going to enjoy inflicting all of the pain he could on this vampire for daring to try and hurt his daughter. Her happiness was all that mattered to him.
"Gather all of the pieces and box them up. Let her put herself back together slowly. The dungeons in Volterra will be her new home." Marcus said to no guard in particular.

Jane liked this side of Master Marcus. It will be her pleasure to inflict pain on this traitor to the Kings with pleasure.

"What now brothers?" Caius asked.

"Dispose of them all. Make it as if they were never here and then we will go pay our dear Carlisle and his coven a visit." Marcus said with venom pooling in his mouth. Carlisle's 'son' needed to be dealt with.

Aro didn't like to lose a friend but he knew the laws and this was a reckless mistake that could have caused a Volturi member harm.

"So be it." Aro said and proceeded to burn the bodies.

"They will be here by tonight." Alice said as the family waited for her vision to end.

"What else did you see?" Carlisle asked.

"They know about Bella. They destroyed Victoria and her newborns. She was behind it." Alice said trying to hold on to the calming waves Jasper sent out.

"We're all dead." Rosalie said breaking the silence. "I knew we should have taken care of her before we left."

"Enough Rosalie, what's done is done." Carlisle said as he held Esme who was terrified by his side. "There's nothing left to do but face the consequences. Running is pointless and it would only make them angrier."

They all resigned to their inedible deaths. It was a possibility none of them had wanted to admit to.

"Get your things in order." Carlisle said as he and Esme made their way to their room.

Yes I have finally updated after a very long hiatus. For those of you who know I stopped writing since I was pregnant but now I have a very wonderful baby boy who barely lets me sleep and demands my attention 24/7. It's amazing exhausting but I am here at 3 am finishing up this chapter for all of you. Hope it didn't disappoint. Let me know in the reviews what you all thought of it.

The confrontation between the Volturi and the Cullen's is coming. Also the 'reunion' between Marcus and Bella as well. I have also decided on throwing in another plot twist because my life isn't complicated enough with writing three stories and taking care of a newborn. (I'm insane) So just please be patient and wait for the next upcoming chapters to find out what it is. I will be dropping little hints along the way. Let's see who guesses it correctly.
