Happy to hear from you all in the reviews. Hope this Chapter doesn't disappoint and you all enjoy. Here's a shout out to some of my reviewers.
MIREADS: Thank you.
AHEALINGRENAISSANCE: Thanks I'm glad you did. As for Bella it's too soon to tell. But I promise all will be revealed soon enough.
CSP4: I'm so happy that you like my version of Caius. I wonder how you like him after you read this Chapter. As for Jacob and the other pack members I can't say much since it will give it away but you are close to what is really going on.

Leah, Embry and Paul were in wolf form at the meeting place. Sam wanted to be in human form as well to ask questions of his own if need be. The kings would undoubtedly have questions of their own for him. Jacob was with Bella on a little bench made from the trunk of a fallen down tree. The pack had another one for the vampires across from theirs but at a distance.

Jacob and Bella had already gone over the questions they wanted to ask. Jake had many of his own and a few from the pack. The only thing he truly cared about knowing was what was going to happen. He didn't think the leech would leave now that Bella knew of their bond. He needed to know what it wanted from her as well.

The six of them waited in the woods for the Volturi to arrive. Bella was a mix of emotions and so was the pack, but for other reasons.

At 1:00 pm the Volturi arrived. The kings looked happy to see Bella.

"Hello my dear." Marcus said as he held out his arms to her.

Bella looked to Jake who nodded and let her go. He was prepared this time.
He still didn't like it.

"Hello Marcus." Bella said as she embraced him.

Aro and Caius came up to her after Marcus.

"Mia Bella." Aro said.

"Hello dear child." Caius said. He was embracing his tender side. He would just have to be extra vicious to balance it out.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice. I'm sure we all have questions." Bella said as she returned to her place next to Jake. He was her rock in this. "Why don't we simply go back and forth in asking and see how it goes." Bella said hoping that was a good idea. She didn't have a clue on taking the lead. She wanted to crawl under a rock.

"Very well my dear. Why don't you go first." Marcus said.

"How do you feel about me?" Bella asked. She needed to hear it from him.

Marcus smiled. That was an easy question.
"I love you. From the moment I saw you I knew I had to protect you and care for you forever. I hated being away from you for so long. Even from a distance I tried to make my way to you. No matter what, I will always put you first my dear. That is not a promise, it is a vow." Marcus said. She was the only thing on this planet that kept him alive now.

(Aro became worried at his brothers' vow. He didn't want another thing to take him away from their coven. He did not want to kill his niece like he had to with his sister)

Bella had her eyes wide. She was overcome with happiness. She had no doubt in his words.
Marcus relished the look of realization in her eyes.

"Thank you for telling me that, it's your turn." Bella said as she blushed slightly.

"Does having me for a father scare you?" Marcus said. He didn't want to ask but he had to know, even if the answer killed him.

Bella was surprised by that. She hadn't really thought about it. Actually, she didn't really have a moment to think about it.

Marcus was getting a bad feeling she did fear him. She wasn't answering or looking at him.

"To be honest I'm not sure." Bella finally said. "I know that as a king you have enemies and they might see me as an easy target to get to you."

Jacob didn't like that realization. Fuck, how did I miss that? Jake thought.

"My head tells me of so much potential danger and of things that could go wrong but my heart says the opposite. But I feel like I'm safe with you." Bella said getting it all out.

Marcus was happy. He was well aware of the dangers his bond to her put her in but he would die protecting her from it all.
"I would never let anything happen to you. We could never." Marcus clarified when Caius shot him a look. "As for your fears there is some possibility of that happening."

The wolves tensed at that. No one liked it.

"Our laws state that once a human knows of our existence they must be changed or killed. I don't want to do either of those." Marcus said. He and his brothers had discussed this matter all night. The decision would be Bella's. No one was to pressure her and the entire guard would be sworn to secrecy and regularly screened by Aro to ensure it. "I could never take your choice away. I want to make you happy and if that means of staying by your side as you remain human then so be it." Marcus said with sadness at the thought of her dying one day.

"Really? You would let me chose?" Bella asked. She was so happy he wasn't trying to change her mind.
"What about the rules? Won't you all get in trouble?" Bella asked

The Volturi guards smirked and the kings outright laughed.
"My dear we are the kings of our kind. If we get any trouble we will simply kill those who dare oppose us." Caius said as if nothing.

Bella's eyes went wide. She didn't want that.

"Don't worry mia bella. We will simply avoid anyone finding out the truth. No one will speak of this and if anyone does find out we will simply take care of them. I understand that you do not like it but it would be either you or them and we prefer it be them." Aro explained. The wolves didn't have a problem with that. Better more leeches die than Bella.

"I guess it makes sense but I still wouldn't want you to kill anyone for me." Bella said.

"We will keep your existence a secret and if anyone does find out then we will deal with it as it comes." Marcus said wanting to change the line of questioning. "I believe it's your turn."

Bella took a moment and decided she wanted a break.
"I think I'll pass this one to Jake." Bella said with a nervous laugh.

Jacob held Bella close. He didn't want her to feel nervous. She needed to hear all of this.

"Now that Bella knows of you, what are you going to do?" Jake asked. He didn't come out and ask directly but he knew his message was received.

The kings straightened. They knew that was coming. Bella's attention spiked.
"Well, I have thought about it but I haven't decided on anything definitive. Bella has the final word." Marcus answered honestly. He just imagined he was answering Bella's question.

"How would it be up to me?" Bella asked.

"Obviously the bond is completed so it does change things. I can stay away from you now but not long. I wouldn't want to anyway. I do want to get to know you better and for you to know me. I wish to stay here with you for some time." Marcus said. The wolves didn't like that. They hated having to deal with the Cullen's. The Volturi would be worse.

"I would like for us to get to know one another but as for your residence, that would be up to them it's their land." Bella replied.

Sam wore a very stern expression. He did not look forward to that conversation.

"I thought as much. But I merely suggested that because I knew it would be the most favorable option for you and yours." Marcus replied.

"How did you come to that conclusion?" Jake asked.

"Since the bond is completed Bella will also feel the 'pull' when we are far apart from one another. It won't be as strong as mine since she is human but it will still be there. Eventually it will become painful to stay apart." Marcus said.

Bella and the wolves didn't like it. She didn't know it could be that severe.

"You feel pain when you are away from me?" Bella asked.

"Yes." Marcus said. He didn't want to make her felt guilty but he wouldn't lie. "I wasn't joking when I said that my brothers had to restrain me. The pull eventually became too much. Thankfully it wasn't complete so it was manageable." He said.

Bella was stunned. She didn't think the bond would hurt. The pack on the other hand understood. Jake liked this less and less by the minute.

"That is why I was thinking of maintaining a residence here. It would be easier for me to travel back and forth as need be than it would be for you. Not to mention that if you went to our home in Italy you would be surrounded by vampires who only feed on humans. An accident is bound to happen." Marcus said making the case for him to stay rather than risk her life in the castle. It could be done if they had time to prepare the guard and keep the vampires with low control from her but he preferred the safest option for her.

Bellas face lost color. She hadn't thought of that.
"Oh."

Jake held her closer. No way in hell he would be comfortable with her leaving anyways.

Sam was thinking it over. He wanted the leech far from their lands but he was thinking they would end up making a compromise.

"If we allow you to stay would you feed on humans?" Sam asked. Screw waiting his turn, he needed an answer.

The kings didn't like that question. To be subjected to ask for permission to inhabit anywhere is new. They didn't like it. Well Marcus was okay with it since it involved his child. Caius was thinking of ways to kill them though.

"Would that have to be a requirement?" Marcus asked wanting to know his options.

"Yes. The Cullen's were only allowed to stay because of their diet." Sam said making sure it was clear. He liked Bella but the people came first and he was in charge of their safety.

Marcus hated the thought of having to become a vegetarian if he stayed. But when he looked at Bella it was nothing. Her mere existence made it livable.
"Then I will only feed on animals when I am here." Marcus said. "When I return home though, I will go back to my natural diet." Marcus said clarifying that it wasn't permanent. He couldn't live on animals forever.

Sam understood to a degree. It's not like the leech was going to change overnight and as long as his people weren't in danger he didn't see the harm. He would still need to talk to the elders for council and speak to the pack.

"I will have to discuss it at length with the rest of the pack. We must all come to an agreement. There will also be other things we must discuss but now is not the time." Sam said. He needed time to process this.

"I understand. This situation could not be easy on all of you." Marcus said. He didn't care but they were important to Bella so he cared a little.

Sam simply nodded.

"Are you two dating?" Caius asked out of nowhere.

The kings looked at their idiotic brother while the three guards looked anywhere else. None of the guard liked to be near the brothers when they argued. Things ended up getting destroyed, and sometimes those things were the guards.

Bella blushed deeply feeling like she was on display.
Jake simply smiled wide and tried not to laugh. Of course the leech king would have a problem with that.

"What I want to know." Caius said to his brother who was glaring.

"Uh." Bella uttered. She and Jake hadn't had time to talk about it.

"Yes, we are. Is that a problem?" Jake asked wanting him to just say it if he did.

(Bella whimpered, she could feel things were about to get bad.)
Marcus didn't like that.

"Yes, it is." Caius said.

Jake stood up and kept Bella behind him. Sam stood and placed a hand on his shoulder. Jakes wolf felt challenged.

"Calm down Jacob." Sam said.

Caius stood as well with Marcus grabbing at his arm. Caius had enough of these wretched mutts.

"You had to open your mouth." Marcus said.

The pack and the guards just watched. Neither side made a move unless it escalated further.

"Why is it a problem?" Bella asked wanting to know.

Marcus wished she hadn't asked, it was too soon to tell her.

"You are one of us, a Volturi, our rightful and only Princess. You should not be with a werewolf. It is beneath you." Caius said angrily. He couldn't hold it in any longer. He hated to play nice with wolves of all things.

"Beneath her!" Jacob yelled. Sam had to hold him back more.

Now the pack and guards took crouching stance just in case. Aro and Marcus held onto their brother as Sam and Bella held onto to Jake.

"Jake please calm down." Bella said as she cried. Things had spiraled out of control too fast. They should have taken their time with this instead of rushing into it.
"Princess?" She asked Marcus. He hadn't mentioned that. Then again this was the first time they were actually having a conversation.

Marcus held onto Caius. "Yes. As my daughter the title belongs to you. If you were a vampire it would have been announced to the world. But since we are keeping you a secret we thought it best to not tell you since it might overwhelm you. But since my brother here can't keep his mouth shut that is no longer the case." Marcus was dreading the repercussions of the mess Caius had just made.

Bella was scared. She never considered herself to be royalty of any kind. This was not good.

"Is that why the guard bowed to me?" Bella asked as she remembered their conduct towards her yesterday.

"Yes, they are at your service. You are to be obeyed, respected and protected as their Princess." Aro said. The guard looked at her and bowed to confirm it.

Bella had her mouth open. She should have thought of it since her 'bonded' father was a king after all.
The pack was going nuts with that little news. Especially Paul, he could not wait to call her Princess from now on.

Bella took in the scene before her. She never processed that her relationship might be a problem for the vampires. It had only happened yesterday. Everything was moving too fast for her to process appropriately. This situation however she could handle right now.

"Jake makes me happy, he has risked his life to protect me when other vampires tried to kill me. They all did. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be alive. Jake brought me back to life after Edward left me, you have no idea how bad it was. I wanted to kill myself. I felt so broken and unwanted. I thought I was better off dead than feeling like trash every second of my existence. I didn't think it was possible to be happy again until he helped me live again. I love him." Bella said with tears in her eyes. It took this to make her realize who Jake was to her.

Jake stopped resisting Sam. He stood there watching Bella who was now slightly in front of him staring at Caius. She was standing up for him.

Marcus was scared. He had no idea of how bad it was. He wanted to rip Edward Cullen's head off more than ever.

Aro was angered by the little Cullen boy but even more so at his brother. They had agreed to take things slow.

Caius was ashamed at his behavior. Well, not completely since he still hates the mutt but enough to regret speaking.

"I am sorry my dear, I had no idea of how bad things had been." Caius said.

"I know you don't approve but Jake has been a part of my life since I was a toddler. He is going to stay in my life." Bella said. She wasn't going to let her relationships with the pack become forbidden. They were there for her when she needed them most and no new family was going to change that.

Marcus was proud of her for standing up to Caius. Very few vampires have ever dared and she was the only human. He would have to remind his brother of keeping his temper in check.

"Why don't we all sit back down?" Aro said as he pulled his brother back to his original spot. Aro loved a good fight but this was one he didn't want.

"I think it would be best if we stopped for today. I have other matters to attend to." Bella said being as cold and firm as possible. She didn't know where this was coming from but she knew why. Jake made her feel whole again. He made her feel important and wanted. She wouldn't let Jake feel like he wasn't enough after what Caius said. Uncle or not he shouldn't have said that.

Marcus was hurt. Caius had clearly crossed a line and it made his daughter want to be away from them. He was going to kick his ass for this.

"Are you sure my dear?" Marcus asked hurt. He wished she would change her mind but it was clear she wouldn't.

"Yes. We can schedule another meeting later this week." Bella said looking at Sam for help. She needed to detach herself from this situation. She didn't like hurting Marcus but Jake was her priority right now.

"It should give us enough time to come to an agreement on your residence." Sam said. He could tell Bella wanted time alone with Jake. He did not want the leech on their land.

Marcus saw through their excuse of course. Now that Caius may have also jeopardized his stay in Forks he was going to break one of his precious sculptures in return.

"I understand my dear. We will stay in touch." Marcus said as he motioned for his brothers and guard.

"Farwell for now mia Bella." Aro said. He was sad to see how quickly the mood soured. Marcus would certainly exchange words with his brother as soon as they were back in the island.

"Goodbye mia Bella." Caius said. He knew he fucked up so bad but he wasn't going to admit it. The only thing on his mind was what gift he could get her to make up for his royal fuck-up.

Marcus walked up to Bella. Jacob and Sam let him come close since Bella didn't protest.
"I will be nearby in case you need me my dear." Marcus said in her ear as he hugged her. Bella returned his embrace.

"Okay. Until next time Marcus." Bella said with a smile. She still had to get used to his effect on her.

Marcus slightly bowed his head and disappeared with his coven.

They all stood there for a moment. Bella had a lot to think about. She loved them but if her relationship to Jacob was going to be a problem then she would have to reevaluate her relationship with them.

"Sam I know we have a lot to talk about but I need to talk to Jake first." Bella said to Sam as she turned around.

"I understand Bella. Both of you come over to the res when you are done talking." Sam patted her shoulder. He didn't know what she had to tell Jake but he hoped it was good. They had all gone through too much to add a breakup after only a day of going out.

Sam walked away and headed behind some brush to shift. Leah and Embry followed him after he shifted. Paul stayed behind for a moment to go towards Bella. He didn't want her to leave them. He walked up to her and nuzzled her leg with his large snout.

(Bella giggled)
"Paul stop it. Everything is okay. I'll see you in a bit." Bella kissed his large head to reassure him. He was a big softie when you got past the angry exterior.

Paul nudged her leg again and darted off in the direction of the pack.

"Is it?" Jacob asked after he made sure Paul was gone. "Okay?"

Bella turned to Jake and lowered his head to her and crashed her lips to his. She wrapped both arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her body. Jacob was surprised for a moment but then immediately reacted to her body language. He encircled her small waist in his arms and lifted her higher. He loved the taste of her pink lips. It was like nectar from a strawberry flower in full bloom.

"I don't care what they think. I'm not leaving you." Bella said when she finally pulled away from him. She wasn't ready for more yet. Although she had professed her love for Jake she still had feelings for Edward. It wouldn't be fair to Jake to give herself to him if her heart wasn't in it.

"You have no idea how much I needed to hear you say that," Jacob said resting his forehead to hers. He was so afraid of her dumping him after one day all to satisfy her new family.

"Actually I do. I don't want you to ever feel like Edward made me feel." Bella said hugging him tighter.

They stayed in their embrace for a few minutes. Jacobs wolf needed to feel her close.

(The Queens tower in Italy)

"She is absolutely beautiful." Athenadora said as she gazed at Bella's school photos on her phone.

Athenadora and Sulpicia had received Bella's information hours ago when Aro discovered her identity. He had one of his guard gather as much information as he could find on her and send it to the kings and queens. They discovered that unlike every other teenager Bella didn't really have any social media accounts. The guard told them that he could hack into her phone and computer but Marcus forbade him to do so. He didn't want to invade her privacy in such a manner.

"She was such a cute baby." Sulpicia said as she looked at Bella's yearly primary school photos.

The queens had been gushing over her pictures since they received them. It was the closest they could have of being with her in her childhood.

"Do you think she will come back with them?" Athenadora asked.

"I hope so. It would be great to have her here with us." Sulpicia said. "I hope she likes what we have made for her." She said as she gazed at the clothes hanging on the walls and laying on the furniture.

"I do as well. I wonder if they will even fit her." Athenadora said. They had estimated her size by her most recent photos and the descriptions the kings gave them on the phone.

Both queens made good use of their times and created a wardrobe fit for a princess. Literally. They handmade her black cloak that showed her rank in the coven. They usually had it tailored but they wanted to make it themselves. Sulpicia made many dresses for her in pastel colors. She wanted to add a little color to her wardrobe. Athenadora made her casual clothes since in all of her photos she is mostly wearing t-shirts and jeans. She did give them a more feminine cut to compliment her body but they were still slightly loose fitting. Athenadora didn't like making her pants but she took it as a new challenge to see if she could make casual clothes look dressy as well. She couldn't very well be dressed down all the time. The Volturi had an unspoken dress code. Even the guard took pride in their attire when they were not dressed in their cloaks and black suits and dresses.

"If they don't we can always alter them." Sulpicia said. She had so much planned for her niece.

"You're right. I hope they call us soon and give us an update." Athenadora said.

(The deepest darkest soundproof part in the dungeons of Volturi castle)

The room was large and wreaked of despair. Nothing could live in it. The sun's rays had never caressed the walls. The only light came from the burning flames that illuminated the floor. Jane had created a large maze with the flames acting as walls. The 'halls' of the maze were thin, no thicker than 5 inches.

Victoria's shredded remains were spread throughout the maze in different places. She would have to put herself together piece by piece in different places. And never fully complete her body or the fire would burn her. Jane enjoyed watching the vile animal slowly and painfully reassemble herself. One wrong move and a part of her would burn away forever.

She enjoyed it even more when Victoria managed to put one of her eyes together. They showed so much pain that Jane didn't have to hear her screams to enjoy it more.

"Welcome to the first day of your eternity." Jane said as she left the room.

Let me know what you all thought of this chapter. The next chapter will begin with Marcus confronting Caius. I know a lot of you will be looking forward to that.
