Recognizing Luffy by his notorious name, Mae's eyes hardened, and she became hostile. Whispering "Tabira Yuki." Under her breath, she transformed her right arm into a sharpened snow sword and took a threatening step towards him.

Realizing what was about to happen, Viske jumped in front of her and spread his arms out. "Wait!" He insisted. "He's a friend!"

Mae bit her teeth together when he used the word friend. "Viske," she strained, the veins in her neck tightening, "move."

Viske refused to move. "I'm not going to let you fight him," he asserted, keeping his hands held out.

Grabbing his arm, she yanked him behind her. "You need to stay out of this."

"But!" He tried to maneuver around her, but she caught him by the wrist and forced him back behind her.

"I said to stay out of this."

Before he could try to get in the way again, Mae ushered him further back and then built a wall of snow between them.

"What the-Gah!" Screaming out in frustration, Viske pounded his fists again the wall. "Mae, you're a stubborn ass!"

Turning a deaf ear to him, Mae redirected her attention back to Luffy. Her forehead creased as her eyebrows pinched together angrily. Without hesitating, she pressed her foot firm against the ground and drove herself forward, swinging relentlessly at him with her snow sword.

"H-Hey! What are you doing?!" He exclaimed, effortlessly dodging the attack.

"You shouldn't be here!" Advancing forward, she attempted to cut him down again.

As Luffy moved out of the way, avoiding the attack, he lost his balance and stumbled backwards out of the nest. However, he was able to easily take a hold of the ledge and spring back up-landing directly in front of her.

"What was that for?!"

Creating a snow spear in her other hand, she threw it at him with force. "You need to leave!"

Grabbing the spear before it could hit him, Luffy used the momentum from her throw and twisted his arms back. Then, with great speed, he launched the spear back in her direction.

Quick to respond, Mae created a barricade of snow in front of herself. Once the spear hit and shattered against the wall, she dropped it and began to stir up a blizzard. And as the snow and wind started to accumulate around them, she disappeared into it.

Stretching for a higher tree branch, Luffy yanked himself out of the blizzard. "It's so cold!" He shouted between chattering teeth, rubbing his hands over his arms vigorously.

Appearing behind him, the blizzard following her every movement, Mae stretched her arms around him and held him in a tight embrace. "It's only going to get colder."

"What the-" Pushing against her hold, Luffy looked over his shoulder at her. "Let go of me!"

Refusing to loosen her grip, Mae propped her chin on his shoulder and forcefully took one step forward-walking them off of the tree branch. As they started to descend downward, solid spikes of snow shot out of the ground beneath them.

Watching as the spikes appeared on the ground, Luffy became even more determined to break free from her hold. With two solid heaves against her arms, he finally broke one of his loose. Stretching it out immediately, he took a hold of the crow's nest and yanked himself out of her embrace.

Landing in the nest, he leaned against the edge and put a hand to his head. His entire body was ice cold and his lungs burned as he tried to catch his breath. He felt like his system was shutting down.

Shaking his head after a moment, overcoming the lightheadedness, he focused his attention back on Mae. He watched as her body disintegrated into a dusting of snow when it came in contact with the spikes.

"That was close!" He exclaimed, holding a hand to the back of his head.

It wasn't long after though that the snow regrouped, and Mae's body was completely rebuilt. Now standing beneath him with her hands stretched out on either side of her, she brewed two small storms in the palms of her hands.

"I'm not done with you yet," she threatened.

Raising her hands upward, she prepared to send an immense blizzard in his direction. But before she could, a net was suddenly thrown on top of her and she instantly became weak in the knees and collapsed to the floor.

"What the hell..." She moaned, forcefully turning her head to see where the net came from. When she saw who was standing behind her, she almost lost it.

"I bet you didn't expect that," Viske said Coolly, crossing his arms over his chest with a smug smirk.
