CHAPTER SIX: SCHOOL TROUBLES

Prince: Welcome back, peeps. It's been a good few months since I last updated any story with an actual chapter. I have to really fight to bring my grade back up now, too, since I missed at least four assignments due to waiting on my new Lenovo IdeaPad computer to arrive. I can only hope I don't fail this class. After this, I'm going to do each and every assignment she gives us because I really can't afford to fail this class.

Kiactu: . . . There's nothing more to say other than the fact that Prince is a bit pissed at D2.0-ReaperBlaze. Honestly, I don't blame him after reading the things he's said about his works. Unfortunately, Prince fought back with calling his stories kind of short and full of plot holes. If you don't believe me, go read that thing he tried to right about Fionna and Cake meeting Naruto. He told Prince once that he was just going to destroy Konoha once Naruto went to Aaa. That's just lazy writing if you asked me. What about all the people there that makes Naruto who he was, or people that actually didn't care about what he was (not that they knew)?

Prince: Lazy, lazy writing. And then he doesn't even pick them up. After shitting out two hundred and a half word pieces of crap, he just abandons his stuff. At least try to come up with a few chapters before deciding to abandon the project. Speaking of which, I have not abandoned Naruto Shippuden the Movie: KoP Style, but am simply planning on revamping it. Instead of the 15+ chapters I was intending to do, I'm shortening it down to at least two, maybe three. I mean, the first Shippuden movie kind of has that "Lord of the Rings" feel to it, and it's basically the only movie Neji gets a major role in. Any other one and he doesn't even have his own scene.

CHAPTER START

Naruto sat at the teacher's desk overlooking the students left in his class: the self-proclaimed "Baka Rangers". Apparently, Takahata thought it necessary for him to help the five with their studies, even though Naruto wasn't that good with individuals. "Okay, so let me get this straight," he said, looking down at his rosters. "The Baka Rangers are a group of girls who fail almost every test, whose hair also describes their colors: like Asuna being red because of her somewhat orange hair, or Makie's pink hair." Ku Fei was yellow, Yue was black, and Kaede was blue.

"Wow, you three really are the colors of the Super Sentai," he said aloud. "Anyway, I don't know of a good way to help any of you study, so I might just give you a test to determine what we need to work on. If you score over six, you are free to go. However, score a five or below at least, and we'll stare here long enough for you to get it." Naruto nodded at his plan.

"So I can't study!" Asuna grumbled. "So what. This school's just an escalator school anyway so it's not like I can't go to high school." Naruto stopped to think about what the girl said. He didn't really understand the escalator school (maybe that's why he was able to move on up with his class back in Konoha, you know, until the graduation exams). He could see the similarities between the Academy and an escalator school.

"Trust me, without an education, you can't get a career working at a high-paying job. What happens when the newspaper industry goes bankrupt, which it now is actually with people going online to read their news nowadays," Naruto said. "Eventually, those two people you help out with the newspaper stand aren't going to get any more business one day and they're going to have to start selling something other than newspapers." It was sad but true.

"Besides, are you really going to spend the rest of your life working at a newspaper stand?" Naruto's question pierced the young girl as she kept her mouth closed. His dark interpretations of the world was actually quite truthful. "I'm sure they're going to be fine one day, but you're going to be gone as soon as you finish high school. And I think I heard Takahata say something about how he liked girls who could provide for themselves." It was after they had some drinks in them (where Naruto, after explaining that his real age was close to twenty-one, transformed into a near lookalike of his father and proceeded to drink everyone under the table).

"F . . . Fine," Asuna said, dejected. "All I've got to do is take the class, right?"

"Okay," Naruto clapped his hands together, "first things first. The test is about twenty questions long. If you feel that you can't keep up, then I will go over it with you as soon as possible. I'll even let you girls pick the game we play for study." He sat down at his desk before letting the test begin. Ten minutes later Naruto's head was down on the desk asleep when someone tapped on one of his spikes. He woke up with his eyes still closed. "Yes?"

"I'm finished," Yue said, getting Naruto to blink the sleep out. "Okay then. Let's just go over it." To his surprised, the girl had made an eight. "I hate studying," she told him with her usual stoic face. Yue left the room with Haruna and Nodoka, the latter bowing as she did so. Next to come up was Ku Fei, Makie, and Kaede, who turned in their tests as well only to be sent back to their desks. 'So it's mostly pronunciation,' Naruto thought to himself as he tried going over it in his head.

Asuna turned in hers as well, making him blink as she was the only one to get below a three. "So then, I guess it's time for us to go over it again and then I'll test you." A few more tries and each of the girls seemed to succeed . . . except for one. Asuna somehow managed to get less than she did last time.

". . . I see a repeat of my childhood," Naruto mumbled to himself. "Maybe I should get a shady teacher's aide." That's how he became a ninja. But the same situation would probably be a lot darker than he was willing to get seeing as there was only girls in this class. Whoever was his aide would either have to be married, an older man, or a younger . . . boy . . . Naruto slapped himself upside the head. Negi would've been perfect for this.

The next few tests yielded no result. ". . . I give up," Asuna said with a dejected look. "I'm just an idiot anyway." Naruto sighed before closing his book and standing next to the girl. Letting the spine drop on her head, he watched as she turned her eyes on him with a look of anger. "You shouldn't give up just because something like this happened. Do what I do whenever I fail, I learn from it."

Unfortunately, this was about the time Takahata would show up. "Ah, Asuna-kun. Here as usual." Naruto palmed his face. "Thanks, Takamichi," he said as he watched the girl run. "I just got the girl to feel somewhat better about not being able to calm down. The man sheepishly smiled. "I apologize, Naruto-kun, but there is something that the Headmaster wants to talk to you about your probationary period after you've completed this class."

Naruto huffed before saying that it was fine. "Let me go get Ms. Speedy and at least attempt to get her to calm down again and then we'll be on our way." After he gets her to get a few more points on her test. Naruto knew she could do it if she just sat down and studied hard enough to actually pass the test. "She's a lot like me . . . other than the fact that I was in a group of kids that weren't really into the whole studying thing." The only things that separated the group was the fact that the girl version had an extra member, the rival (though the boy version was actually kind of one-sided) was actually pretty smart, the girly side was missing a big-boned member, and . . . Well, yeah. That was it. The similarities only stopped at the one who was actually pretty smart but just didn't take the time to actually do their work (the girl version being Yue while the boy version being Shikamaru) and the hothead (the girl version being Asuna while the boy version being Naruto himself).

"Where is she?" Naruto asked, jumping from building to building. Grimacing to himself, Naruto jumped once more before closing his eyes. 'Maybe I can sense her somewhere else.' Naruto had tried it a lot back in Wales whenever Negi would get lost and he and Nekane had to go and find the young boy. Sage Mode was a godsend when finding the kid. Turned out that he could use Sage Mode in conjunction with magic to find almost anything.

Naruto located her. The girl was near a lake after leaving the classroom. So . . . the question was . . . "How do I get to her?" Naruto asked, his eyes underneath the mask golden with a vertical bar for pupils. "Maybe . . ."

"Hey, Chomei!' Naruto's voice echoed in his mind. At the sounds of massive insect wings beating for a second. However, Naruto still got no reply. "Yo, Chomei!" Still no response. "Lucky Seven Chomei." That was all it took to get a massive blue rhinoceros beetle look alike to appear in his mind. "Did you want something, Naruto?" it asked.

"Could you let me use your wings to find someone?" Within a few minutes, Naruto felt three pairs of what felt like extra arms as well as a tail sprout from his back. Fluttering the appendages back and forth at an increasing speed, Naruto soon began to hover above the ground flying into the air out of sight.

A sullen Asuna sat at the lake skipping stones across the water. She could only think of how much she looked like an idiot, especially in front of someone who was supposed to be her crush. "OI, ASUNA!" a voice yelled. The girl looked around to see who it was that was calling her. Finding no one around her, she went back to what she was doing before. When the name called out to her a second time, she chose to ignore it.

However, the person that was calling her again decided to get up close to her and say her name, nearly scaring the girl and causing her to jump into the lake. Asuna turned to the culprit who got her wet and was about to lay into him when she saw something she'll never forget: Naruto was hovering in the air with six orange insect wings beating the air behind him. A long green tail like a bug of some kind flayed behind him as he slowly landed. The tail and the wings retracted as he landed.

"And I made a comparison between you and me too," he grumbled. "Geez. Now I look like a fool for no apparent reason because when I make a comparison, I want the two of us to actually have some common ground."

"He now thinks of me as an idiot," she grumbled. Naruto blinked before shrugging. "So. If I had a yen for everyone who thought I was stupid at some point in time, I'd be pretty rich."

"I guess . . . I can try then," she said. But then another question popped into her head. "But where did those wings come from." Naruto grimaced before coughing into his hand. "I'll have to explain it where there's no chance anyone can overhear. It's a really personal matter and I can't let everyone know about it."

Asuna understood enough to know that she couldn't go spreading around that Naruto was a mage or a ninja without either having proof (which she was sure that if he wanted to, Naruto could just kill her and be done with it if he was the stereotypical ninja), or being called crazy. Naruto had a plan though.

"If you come back to the classroom and try your hardest on the next few tests, I can guarantee you that I will tell you everything there is to know about me," he said. He got the girl to go back to the classroom and try again. However the rest of the day bore no fruit. Asuna did somehow get it up from a three to a five, though.

'So I guess I'm going to have to bring up my part of the bargain,' Naruto thought before telling the girl to wait for him tonight after Konoka had gone to sleep.

It was eleven o'clock as Asuna in her pajamas waited on her bed as a small fox with goggles on its head jumped into her bed. "Really," she asked, looking at it with a deadpan gaze. "You could've sneaked up here when she was asleep."

"But where's the fun in that?" Naruto asked, tilting his head and adjusting the goggles as they had begun tilting a bit. "Anyway, I'm going to break this up into segments because one, if I know my luck then more people are going to find out about my . . . abilities and I want them to get caught up. Anyway, I told you that I was an orphan during the baths, right?" At Asuna's head nodding up and down, Naruto then went on to explain that he had met his parents after they had been killed.

"Wait . . . You mean, as ghosts?"

"No . . . Well, I guess you could call them that as they kind of implanted some of their chakra in me before dying. My dad had done it so that if I ever lost control of . . . my inner demon and was about to release it, his chakra would appear before my mental construct of myself and stop it before it could open up the gate and unleashing an Armageddon on my home. My mom was to appear before me if I wanted to learn how to control its awesome power." Naruto gestured towards his hand. Asuna looked down before noticing that it was covered in a golden flame. "I have to release a little because if I did a lot then the mages come flying in like moths to a flame." No pun intended. "So, I'm going to tell you how I came to become the jinchuriki of the Kyubi no Yoko, or as I like to call him now, Kurama."

"Wait . . . Kurama, as in Yu Yu Hakusho Kurama?"

"No . . . Wait, Kurama . . . Did you know there was an anime character with your name?" Naruto asked. Asuna waited for a second as she watched her teacher before a rather intense feeling swept over her. It was almost like that time Naruto reprimanded her that first day of school. She felt little in his presence, as if she was a five-month-old mouse next to a fully grown predator that didn't know whether it wanted to eat her or just stay there and watch her scurry away.

"So . . . You're the girl that's be giving Naruto a hard time, aren't you?" Asuna gasped at the voice that came out of Naruto's mouth. "Y-Yes," she said, hoping that whatever was in front of her didn't get the urge to kill her. It grunted as if to laugh but kept its cool. "I like your spunk, girl," it said. "I guess we could let you meet the rest of the Tailed Beasts. Oh, and for the record, I'm a better demon than that thing will ever be." And Kurama wasn't even on the same class as demons. "Hold out your hands."

She hesitantly did as he told and Naruto gripped hers in a vice-like grip, his nails taking care not to cut too deeply into her skin. Asuna closed her eyes as energy flowed through her body, taking care not to hurt the girl before she opened her eyes once more.

A multitude of creatures stood around her: a raccoon, a cat, a turtle, a monkey, a giant . . . dolphin . . . horse thing, a giant slug, a rhinoceros beetle, an ox . . . octopus (which was better to point out than the dolphin thing), and a giant fox. In front of her was Naruto, who looked a lot different, like he did when he first ingested the love potion. He was older too, standing over her like an adult male in their early twenties. Naruto's clothing was

"Let me introduce you to the nine Tailed Beasts," he told her. "They're entities of chakra that I keep in my body. Pretty cool, huh?" Unfortunately, being a girl, she didn't really like looking at the slug or the beetle. And the turtle was so full of spikes that she felt somewhat unnerved.

"Oh, where are my manners?" Naruto said. "The raccoon is Ichibi no Shukaku (but we just call him Shukaku), the cat is Matatabi, the Nibi no Nekomata, Isobu is the turtle (or the Sanbi), Son Goku is the monkey (the Yonbi), Kokuo is the dolphin-horse and we called him the Gobi, Saiken is the giant slug (or the Rokubi), Chomei is the gigantic rhinoceros beetle (his proper name would be the Nanabi), Gyuki is the ox-octopus hybrid whose proper name is the Hachibi, and of course you already know Kurama."

Each Bijuu greeted the girl before them in their own way (you know with Isobu being shy and Chomei being . . . well, Chomei). Some of them were polite but some of them were also pains in the neck. Some were reserved while Chomei was open to start up a conversation.

Asuna then turned her attention on her teacher. Naruto looked a bit older than he did outside and he was dressed differently as well. His outfit seemed to be made out of flames and he had a pair of horns on his forehead. In his hand was an iron monk staff that jingled with each step he took. Naruto really looked like a sage, despite his young age.

"This is a secret that not even the society of mages know about," Naruto told Asuna. "I'm probably one of the most powerful beings on this planet, but I don't want everyone to freak." And there was also the fact that he was a lot older than he looked on the inside, but the "most powerful being on the planet" thing takes priority.

The next morning found the girls outside during recess discussing their teacher. "It's been days since Naruto-kun arrived," Makie said as she passed the ball towards a long-haired girl named Akira. "What do you all think of him so far?"

"He's not bad, being cute and all," Akira said as she bounced the ball off her wrist.

"Yeah," another student said, this one with a side-ponytail much like Setsuna's, only longer. "He's really giving it his best with the whole teaching thing, too."

"But . . . Is it really okay to depend on him?" Ako Izumi asked as she caught the ball. "I mean, next year is exam year." Yuna turned her down by saying that it was an escalator anyway until they all got into university.

"But in the end, Naruto-kun is only a few years older than we are. There are some things that would be awkward to talk about with him around compared to saying something like that to Takahata-sensei." They all shared a laugh as they thought about how dense their teacher seemed to be. Whenever someone tried to get his attention by acting sexually, he would just act as if they weren't doing whatever they had been doing and walk on like it was nothing. Either Naruto was trained in seduction, he was gay, or he was extremely oblivious to others' feelings toward him. He seemed to notice Asuna's crush on Takahata and picked on it from time to time, though, as well as pick out some of the girl's with boyfriends.

"Which raises the question of how someone who notices others with boyfriends and/or crushes on other people but when girls have a crush on him he's completely oblivious," Akira asked.

"Maybe he's so innocent that it takes an experienced girl to be his girlfriend," Makie giggled into her hand as she completely missed the ball. Running up to it, she stopped as someone put their foot on the ball. "'Experienced girl'?" the culprit asked. "Don't make us laugh."

"Y-YOU GUYS ARE . . . !"

Naruto felt like he was in a bad mood today for some reason. Not even the timely arrival of Shizuna put a smile on his face. "Is there something wrong, Naruto-sensei?" she asked, getting Naruto to blink before shaking his head. "It's nothing, Shizuna-senpai," he answered. "I just felt like someone was talking bad about me against my back."

"Oh. May I ask how your teacher's training is going?" she asked, trying to change the subject. Naruto blinked as the feeling left. "Have you got the feel for teaching yet?" Naruto nearly snorted if he didn't remember his company. "I don't really think I was that much cut out to be someone's teacher," he honestly answered. "I've only ever taught one person and he was a real brat when I first met him."

And he served as Naruto's very first punching bag. Ah, how he missed Konoha.

"So you've had some experience in teaching but it was only one pupil," Shizuna commented. Naruto smiled before giving her a thumbs-up. "Don't worry," he told her. "All I need is half a month to get up to speed. I mean, I already learned half of the class's names." The sound of someone crying could be heard before the door to the teacher's lounge flung open. "Th . . . There's a fight in the school grounds!" Ako yelled as Makie held out her hand. On it was a scratch that she was crying over. Naruto blinked twice before sighing and handing over the "injured" girl over to Shizuna.

Following after Ako, the two made it outside to see Akira be attacked by a ball. "Finally got the deal," the thrower said as she smugly grinned at her juniors. "Middle schoolers like you are just babies compared to seniors like us." As she was about to drag Yuna off the field, a rock smacked her hand, getting her to drop the girl.

"If there's anything that pisses me off, it's when senpai pick on their kouhai," Naruto said, holding a pebble in one hand and tossing it in the air. "If I remember correctly, seniors aren't supposed to be on this field as they have their own." He caught it out of the air before letting it drop to the ground. "Please leave before I have to write you up." No one picked on his cute students without some manner of retribution. Unfortunately, Naruto couldn't fight anyone or prank students so he would have to pull the authoritative figure card here.

The silence was rather uncomfortable before he eventually found himself swamped in seniors. "He's acting so cool and he's so cute," one girl said, hugging his face into her chest.

"Is this the rumored teenage teacher?"

"I got dibs on him first!"

"Me! Me! I was first!"

"KYAA! Let me touch him too!"

Naruto stood there with a look of indifference under his mask. 'Maybe there's something I should do to remedy this situation,' he thought to himself. 'Hey! Who pinched my butt?!' "OI OI OI! That's enough!" he yelled, getting the girls' attention.

Straightening himself up, Naruto turned towards the group of seniors. "Did any of you even listen to what I was saying?" he asked. "If you want this to end peacefully, then please leave because I really want to keep that image of the cute teacher and not the one who hides a monster temper underneath this mask."

"Come on, sensei . . . Isn't that a little . . ."

"Leave . . . now." Naruto's voice left no room for argument as the seniors slowly began to disperse back to their school, not wanting to make him actually use his anger. "Are you girls alright?" Nodding nervously, the girls thought he was kind of cool with his voice, which seemed to sound more masculine than anything.

"You sure took your time getting here, Takahata," Naruto said without even looking towards his senpai. "What would you have done if those two got into a fight?" His thumb was pointed towards both Asuna and Ayaka, the latter of which was cooing over how much of a gentleman her teacher was acting.

'Somehow, that's even creepier,' Asuna thought with a sweatdrop as she watched her class rep fawn over Naruto. "Eh, I had heard about it from Makie-kun in while I was walking by Shizuna-sensei's room," Takahata said. Naruto grimaced as it just so happened that he was walking past Shizuna's room in that point in time. 'There's no doubt that he's in a relationship with her,' he thought to himself. 'That's going to break Asuna's heart when she eventually finds out.' A part of him wanted to dig further into it. Hell, a part of him wanted to go peeking on the baths at night, but he was training to stop that impulse, no matter how great it felt to just let loose. He had an image to keep in front of his students and he'd be damned if his peeking ruined it.

"Naruto-sensei, there's something we have to discuss please." Takahata got Naruto to pay attention to him. "Another 'test'?" he asked. "I thought I was through with those." Takahata shook his head before telling him that it wasn't a test. "You see, one of our teachers called in sick today and we need you to help with their class for the entire day. That wouldn't be too much of a problem, would it?" Naruto sighed. 'Depends on what I consider a problem.'

"Naruto-kun was kind of cool back there, wasn't he?" Ako asked as she turned towards her fellow students. The beginning of a scar could be seen on her right hip. "His angry voice was kind of hunky when you aren't the target for it," Yuna agreed. "It was like listening to a movie star."

"What's with you girls, making fun of Naruto-sensei like that?" Ayaka asked. "If anything his voice when he's like that was more of an Adonis." The girls then began to pick on their class president because of her new crush.

"I used to think you were into little kids, but I guess everyone's tastes begin to change when they begin to mature." Ayaka ignored Asuna's snap at her sexual appetite. The girls then got dressed and headed up to the court for volleyball.

"Well, well!" the senior from before said as they all stood on the field. "We meet again. What a coincidence! 3"

"Senior class 2-D!" Asuna yelled, much to the surprise

"We're here because we got some 'self-recreation' time. What about you?"

"W-We're here for volleyball!"

"Hmm, seems like we have a double-booking here." The girls of 3-A glared at the girls before Asuna noticed something. "What the hell are you doing here, Naruto?!" she yelled at their teacher. Naruto remained calm as the girl who was clamping onto him squeezed her bust into his back. "I was just covering for their PE teacher, who didn't come," he answered. "What . . . I'm on probation so this was actually pretty planned." He had absolutely nothing to do with this moment. Blame the Headmaster for this one.

"Anyway, we were here first so why don't you just back off, Kagurazaka Asuna?" Asuna yelled that they had done this on purpose and that there was a court right next to their dorm. "And you still come to our roof?"

"Is that all you got to say this time, you babies?" The girl said, only for them to retort that they were the kids for picking on their juniors. Naruto watched as they bickered back and forth before someone proposed. "Whoa! Wait a minute," he said. "Can't you do something like this without fighting? There's plenty of more ways to do this without resorting to violence." Despite them not being fun at all.

Naruto sniffed a bit before placing his hand against his nose, feeling a random sneeze coming on. The gale force winds were enough to blow up the seniors' skirts and free him. However, the backlash also raised the middle school student's shirts as well.

"How about a sporting event?" Naruto asked. "There's no way this could horribly backfire on anyone and you all will be able to get your exercise." One of the seniors agreed. "This sounds kind of interesting," she said. "If we lose, we'll leave here with no quarrel and never bother you at lunchtime again. How's that sound?"

"B-But . . . even if you say that . . . our ages and bodies are totally different!"

"Hmm . . . you have a point," the lead senior said. "You aren't a match for us at volleyball. So then . . . We'll have a handicap. How about we play dodgeball instead? There's eleven of us and twenty-two of you. How about we take on all of you?"

"All right! You're on!" Asuna yelled, jumping in before Naruto could say anything at all. "Just one condition," the lead senior said as she wrapped an arm around Naruto's neck and a leg around one of his. "If we win, we're taking Naruto-sensei to be 'our' teacher! How about it?"

"EEEEH! They're going to take Naruto-kun!"

Naruto kept his mouth closed, though he wanted to tell them off. It wasn't their decision to be had but the Headmaster's. That was when his phone began ringing. Pulling it out of his pocket, Naruto held it up to his ear. "I'm completely okay with this," came the old man's reply, making Naruto's eye twitch. "If you lose, Uzumaki Naruto, you will be the teacher of 2-D."

'He doesn't sound too pleased about this,' Naruto thought to himself.

Fireworks exploded in the air as Karakuri Chachamaru held the cannon in the air. Beside her was Evangeline A.K. McDowell who was covering her ears. To the right was the three cheerleaders of Naruto's class, who were cheering on the class as other classmates sat to their right (Tatsumiya Mana, Sakurazaki Setsuna, Nagase Kaede, and Zazie Rainyday, the latter of whom was sitting on top of a wall with a crow on her arm).

The game had started (with Naruto as a special participant) and Asuna had taken out a senior. "One out for the high school team," a senior who was taking the score said. "Ten members left." Naruto stared at the board before looking around. 'Something doesn't feel right about our situation,' he thought to himself. 'It's as if they were playing us right into a disadvantage by giving us a handicap. But why?'

Looking between the seniors and the middle school students, he found his answer. While the girls on the senior team moved around in order not to get hit gracefully, their side was constantly getting hit. If one senior member went down, then at least two or three went down for that one senior. "We're gonna win this dodgeball match no matter what!" Asuna yelled. "Don't take us lightly just because we're younger or you'll be sorry."

"Fool, you played right into her hands," Naruto muttered.

It wasn't until they tried running around did they realize they had been played like a flute. "Having more people doesn't help you in dodgeball! The more you have, the harder it is to dodge!" Naruto kept his mouth close, like he knew that would happen and didn't want to point out that he had figured it out a few minutes ago.

"You knew?" Asuna asked him. He shrugged. "Yeah, but it wasn't my fault that you rushed in without saying anything," Naruto said with his mouth in an X shape. "You agreed to the match without thinking about the consequences." Asuna was scolded by Ayaka, who retorted that it was her fault as well as she had agreed to the match too. "Everyone!" the former yelled. "Don't bunch up! Spread out!" It would do no good whatsoever.

"You think I didn't anticipate this?" the senior said as she tossed a ball that would've hit Fuka in the back of her head. However, it only tapped her back before dropping to the ground.

"Wait . . . wasn't that ball going at full speed?" one of the seniors pointed out. "It should've hit her in the back of her head." No one paid attention to Naruto's outstretched hand (well, except for one student) and how the light reflecting off it would have shown a golden flame like aura that had taken the shape of a clawed hand.

He couldn't stop people from getting put out of the game, but he could stop it from hurting so bad. "Don't turn away from the other team!" the lead senior yelled. "You're next!" Her finger pointed towards Nodoka who squeaked as a ball nearly hit her. The girl curled up in a defensive position but the ball would not hit her.

Naruto had grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her towards him while Asuna caught the ball. "A-Asuna-chan! Naruto-sensei! Arigatou," she said. Naruto grunted to tell her that she was welcome. "Are you alright, Honya-chan?" Asuna asked. "Don't turn your back on them or you'll be targeted for sure."

"Thank god for Asuna's 'Baka Power!'"

"Here I come!" Asuna yelled. "I'll show you the true powers of middle schoolers!" She threw the ball, only to watch as the senior caught it with one hand. "Asuna threw it at full 'Baka Power' and she caught it with one hand!"

"God dammit! Shut the hell up about 'Baka Power'!"

"Hmph . . . 'Baka Power' or not . . . To think that's your true power . . . How pathetic."

"If it's so pathetic then why are you shaking your hand like it hurt?" Naruto asked. The senior chose to ignore that comment. "Your little group of monkeys never had a chance against us from the start."

Her partner told them to behold their true identities. Throwing off their clothing, Naruto resisted the urge to yell out "Strippers!" and kept his mouth shut. "Kantou's regional dodgeball championship team! Mahora Academy's Dodgeball club Kuroyuri!" Underneath was the school's dodgeball member's shirt and bloomer. 'Don't stray down . . . don't stray down . . . don't stray down . . ." Naruto's mind was going overboard to keep his eyes above their belt. Of course they were still picked on by 2-A for being in high school and playing dodgeball at their ages.

"It's not really that uncommon for someone to do what they want," Naruto said. "I've seen some teens wearing cartoon shirts." Hell, he bought a t-shirt that had a steaming bowl of ramen on the front and a logo on the back that said "Ramen Fueled".

"Who asked you anyway?!" the lead senior yelled. "You're starting to annoy me! Vivi! Shii! Get ready for the triangle attack!" Naruto blinked as the question about what the triangle attack was brewed in his mind. "Gotcha, Eiko!"

"Come now," Ayaka said. "Attack if you dare, you old biddies! Hohoho . . . I, Yukihiro Ayaka, president of Class 2-A, shall defend Naruto-sensei." Naruto blinked. "Thanks . . . but, I don't really need 'defending'," he said. 'If anything I should defend you.'

And she was out just like that as the three seniors passed the ball between the three of them. "Damn it! I couldn't see where the ball was coming from! Triangle Attack . . . just what sort of formation is that?" Naruto blinked before placing his face in his hands. "Remind me to ask the math teacher where he got his degree from," he muttered. The score was now almost tied.

They were going to have to start playing fierce now. There was no way they were allowing the seniors to win and take Naruto. Eiko began to pick her target from the eleven left before focusing on the only one who could pose a threat. "Looks like the only target left is Kagurazaka Asuna. Shii! Use that technique!" Naruto narrowed his eyes at the girl's next move. Shii threw the ball into the air and Eiko used the sun as a cover to hit Asuna. "Special Death Blow! Solar Strike!" Once it hit, she prepared for another attack, only for someone to step in front of the second blow and catch it in his hands.

"I don't know about dodgeball coming from a backwater place like home, but I know for sure all it takes to get one person out is one hit," he said. Naruto's eyes were shadowed by his hair, his mask forgotten as his face was on clear display. His whisker birthmarks were broadened, showing how angry he was. He looked at the seniors, showing red irises with slit pupils, like some kind of beast. In all honesty, they were kind of scary. "I was holding back before, but now I'm pissed."

No one looked at his hands, which were now reminiscent of claws, as they nearly popped the ball. Before he could throw the ball, Asuna stopped him. "What about that talk about no violence," she pointed out. "If you go back on your word you're no different than what you were trying to get us to stop. There's no glory in winning a match unfairly. If you're a real man, then win it fair and square."

Naruto stopped for a bit and grinned. 'Never mind then, Kurama,' he thought. The oppressive feeling drew back, allowing some of the students to catch breaths they didn't know they were holding. However, that didn't mean that they were in the clear. "Without Asuna, we're done for!" Ako cried.

"It's the end for us!" Makie yelled.

"The hell it is!" Naruto's voice rang out. "You never give up, even if the task is impossible! We'll give it our best dattebayo!" Naruto clamped his hand over his mouth. "I thought I was over that by now, dang it."

"Naruto-kun and his really adorable verbal tic are right!" Makie said. "If we lose, then they'll take him away! We can't just give up like this!"

"YEAH!"

"Go 2-A!" the cheerleaders cheered.

'Not bad, Naruto-baka,' Asuna thought. 'You've managed to get everyone motivated.' Ayaka could be seen with a lovestruck look on her face. Naruto noticed her glance and sheepishly grinned, rubbing the back of his head as a sign that he was okay. "Now it's time to start playing seriously!" he said, pumping his fist into the air.

The girls gasped before thinking about how they used to say that Naruto wasn't dependable. In front of them wasn't their rather laidback teacher; in front of them was a person who could lead them to victory.

"Fufu . . . You just don't know when to give up," Eiko said as she stared at the group. "You guys are going to lose here for sure." One of her friends called out to Naruto, telling him that the high school textbooks were ready for him when they lost. "Don't worry," Naruto told the girls. "We don't plan to lose, right?"

"RIGHT!"

Eiko giggled into her hands as she told them that it was impossible for middle schoolers to go against their senpai. "Five second rule!" Nodoka's voice rang out, surprising the others. "T-The rulebook says that if the offense holds the ball for more than five seconds without holding it, then you forfeit the ball." Yue held out her hand.

"Wh-What are you talking about?!" one of the seniors yelled in anger. "You don't even have the rulebook!"

"Yeah! How would an amateur like you know?"

"Ah, I always carry a compilation rulebook with me." Nodoka pulled one out. Naruto blinked as he silently thought to himself, 'I didn't know they made a compilation rulebook.' The bijuu smiled as they all thought the same thing. 'They don't.'

"Ooh! Way to go, Honya!"

"Akira-san, it's up to you!" Nodoka said, passing the girl the ball. However, Yue withheld the information that you weren't supposed to do it either, even though the other team was doing it anyway. Akira tagged a senior in the shoulder. "Don't get cocky over a weak throw like that!" a senior yelled, throwing the ball at Ako. The girl squeaked before her reflexes kicked the ball towards another senior and tagged her out.

"That's our soccer club manager for you," Yuna commented. The basketball player then jumped into the air before hitting a senior with a Dunk Shot. The air filled with multiple attacks that Naruto was sure was not in the rules but let them slide. At one point in time Makie used her ribbon to tag out multiple seniors, much to Naruto's astonishment.

The game was over with the middle school winning 10-3. As the girls were about to celebrate, Naruto noticed something about the head captain of the Dodgeball club. She was about to throw the ball at the back of Asuna's head, only for Naruto to catch it like he did before.

'Good thing I had been working on this since I left Konoha,' he thought to himself. 'Uzumaki Naruto Tokubetsuna Dojjibōru Bakudan! (Translation: Naruto Uzumaki Special Dodgeball Bomb)' Throwing the dodgeball, Naruto sent a miniature Tailed Beast Bomb the size of an atom inside the ball towards the teens. Eiko caught it, though a massive pressure blasted her (and the surrounding seniors) back, tearing at their clothes.

With a scream the girls fell to their knees. Naruto turned his back to them before clearing his throat. "The next time you come here, I hope it's to ask me for anything instead of attacking my students. Part of being a teacher is helping any student with their troubles and I can't necessarily do that with others that attack those dear to me." The seniors and class 2-A stayed quiet for a few minutes as Naruto's cool speech settled in their minds.

"We won't forget this!" Eiko said as she ran off trying to cover herself. Naruto sighed as he felt that he failed when trying to act cool. 'Maybe one day I'll be able to get people to listen to me, but for right now . . . I guess this will do.'

Turning his attention back to his class, Naruto smiled with his eyes closed and his hands locked behind his head. "Oh well," he said. "Guess there's just you guys. Now . . . Who's ready to celebrate?" The whole class (minus a few students) (AN: I think you know which ones, fans of Negima) yelled in cheer as they tossed Naruto up in the air.

"Yay, Naruto-sensei!" they yelled, making Naruto laugh until he felt something.

"OI, WHO PINCHED MY ASS?! Okay, stop it . . . I'm serious . . . Stop pinching it!" Unaware to the class, both Takahata and Shizuna watched over the celebration. "Naruto-sensei seems to be getting closer to his students, right?" the latter asked. "Yeah, but I feel that there is more of a 'friend' relationship instead of a 'teacher-and-student' one," Takahata told her.

The next day, Naruto found his office filled with seniors wanting him to join their dodgeball team. He would later accept the invitation as long as they came to him with problems. How else was he supposed to prove his worth as a teacher?

CHAPTER END

Prince: Finally. This is much faster uploaded on my new Lenovo IdeaPad. There were some parts I felt lacking, but others felt like they were coming together with a kind of crunchy texture. I may try to iron them out when I get the chance but I have to stop writing for a while. I'm already behind on some assignments for my Operating Software Installation class and I don't want to be too far behind. Plus, I hope we get an extra week so I can make those assignments up. Here's good luck to my studies. Also, I have come up with a non-harem (or maybe a two-girl thing if the new recruits aren't up to speed) KoP/Sailor Moon fan fiction that will use all KoP members. I'm also planning to add Sasuke Uchiha, Rin and Yukio Okumura, and Kotaro Inugami to the roster of KoP. There may be more (like Arata Kasuga from Trinity Seven and Kenichi Shiriyama from History's Greatest Disciple Kenichi), but I have to get your ideas first on who to let become a member. I'm posting a poll on these possible choices for a potential plus an extra one for a choice member that you can enter yourself. The rules are no horror manga character as I can't stomach horror things in general, no perverted protagonist like Itou Makoto (or he's gonna end up dead by the KoP), and . . . That's the only two I can come up with at the moment. I'll tell you if I can write about the character or not.
