When they got home Jay just crashed on the couch laying his head on the back. He kicked off his shoes and rested his feet on the coffee table.

Erin looked at him, he looked like he was tired but he looked beat too. She felt an urge to talk to him about Mouse, but she decided to stay quiet. She really didn't know what to say. She really was happy because he listened to her but she could imagine that this was pretty hard for him. She understood his concerns. Actually, she didn't because she couldn't even imagine what they had been through back there, but she really understood their commitment and loyalty to each other. Erin was sure that Jay would give his life for Mouse, and what they had it was really hard to find. And for her it was easy to understand that Jay couldn't even conceive that Mouse could want to be back to that place that apparently provoked so much damage in both of them.

But the truth was like she said to him in the break room, if it was Jay who wanted to go back, for sure that was not Mouse who would stop him, no one would stop him actually.

She took a glance at him again and once again she decided not to talk and chose to cook dinner for them, trying to clear her mind.

As she opened the fridge she heard him talking on the phone.

She felt uncomfortable by listen to the conversation but he was not hiding so... She heard Jay talk slowly. He was talking to Mouse, she was almost sure of that.

"Hey man do you want to go some where for a drink?" Erin came close to him and talk low. "I'm cooking dinner, don“t you preferred to invite him in?"

Jay nodded negatively.

"Are you sure?" She heard him saying. She walked away and Jay notice her change in posture. "Mouse if you want you can come here too."

"Sure! No problem."

"Ok then, meet you there in 10!" She heard him saying.

Jay left the phone on the coffee table and went meet Erin near the stove. She didn't look at him. "Babe I'm going to meet Mouse at Molly's ok?"

In response she just mumbled.

He caressed her hair asking, "Erin are you ok? What are you cooking? It smells really good!"

Erin raised her head from what she was doing and stared at him and with that he realized she was pissed at him for sure. "Erin, sorry but I think we need to talk alone."

She went back to her cooking and mumbled something again that he couldn't quiet understand. "Erin?"

She faced him and he could feel how angry she was. "What Jay?" She asked in a raspy tone, still facing him.

"Do you understand why?" He asked her carefully.

"Yes, Jay I understand but I would have liked you to talk with me first. I already started dinner for us... We... We live together you know? And you don't ever consider asking me what I was doing. I get that you two need time alone, and that it's totally ok for me and I love you for being so concern about him and so loyal. But I'm here ok?" She sounded hurt by his attitude. And Jay felt the regret growing in his chest as she was speaking. His face showed that regret but she was not in the mood to let this go. She was right and he knew that. She had been by his side every step of the way, she even offered her help on this matter today and he had been an ass by not considering that she could have had plans for tonight or even had something to say about this.

He hugged her from behind and kissed her neck. "I'm sorry Babe! You're right!"

"Yeah Jay but you know kisses and hugs don't fix me so..." She said waving him away. He tied to hug her again but let her go when she struggled with him. He tried to caress her but she refused his touch. "Just go Jay, do your thing and be the amazing friend that you are for Mouse. I'm ok with that, I will be here!"

He tied to get to her again but she refused again. "Go Jay! Just go!"

Erin ate alone and saved the leftovers in the fridge for him.

She dropped herself on the couch and started zapping.

She still was pissed with him and with herself. She was really upset with his attitude, although understood his reasons and got it that he wanted to make Mouse as comfortable as he could but he didn't even consider her. Basically, he ignored her.

Erin had to admit that she was not very educated with living together arrangements and she didn't want to be the kind of possessive girlfriend but she was cooking dinner for them, for him and he... well maybe she was being a bitch after all. All conflicted with this she ended up watching some cooking channel to distract her mind from all of that until she heard her phone buzz.

Jay sat at the counter and waved at Gaby asking for a beer and looking at the door waiting for Mouse to come in. He was lost in his thoughts. He didn't feel like a very good boyfriend right now. He knew he didn't play it right with Erin, but he was not used to planning his life with someone and when he felt his friend needed him he didn't even think about her being right there.

Jay scratched his chin while trying to figured out a way of make amends with Erin. Gaby approached him without Jay even noticing her. She put another beer in front of him and took the old out of his hand. He had spent a good amount of time pilling the paper label off the bottle. "Hey! Jay? Where are you and why are you making a mess on my counter?" Gaby asked pointing to the small pieces of paper that were placed around his beer. Jay looked surprised when she spoke and started to put all the little pieces of paper together. "I'm sorry Gaby I... I'm sorry, I was a bit lost in my thoughts, I'll clean this up!" He answered embarrassed.

"No Jay I clean it up, no worries! But is something wrong?" She asked trying to understand why was he alone at Molly's at this hour.

He looked at her trying to decide if he should talk to her or not. In between Mouse appeared at his side without both of them noticing and the conversation got lost. "Hey guys!" Mouse said. "Can I get a beer Gaby?"

She nodded in agreement and go get a beer from the fridge.

Jay rolled the bottle that he had between his hands and faced Mouse. "So, I asked Sargent Platt to make arrangements to clean your record and I'm here for what you need, but Greg, are you sure that this is what you want to do?"

Mouse gave a smile. "Thank you, man, You... I really don't have means to thank you for all you have done for me and... well you know you are almost the only family I have so..." Jay raised his hand stopping him. "Greg you didn't answer my question. Are you sure that this is what you want? You know that you are amazing at what you do, and I know Voight is not very big on gratitude but I know for sure that he values your work and we all admit that you will be very hard to replace. Why do you need to see action so much?"

Mouse looked at the beer that Gaby had given him between their conversation without interrupting them because it seemed serious. "Jay you go to the streets everyday, how can you not understand what I need?"

"I go to the streets of Chicago, not the streets of that God forsaken country where you can end up dead two minutes before landing." Jay corrected, upset.

"I need to feel that I worth more than what I do now!" Mouse said.

"But you are important, don't you see that?" Jay asked.

"Jay... I... I need this. I know it is masochism and I know you think I'm crazy but I want to go back, please don't think I'm going there to die, I just need to do this to prove to myself my worth in this world. And I promise I will seek help if things get weird again...!"

Jay shook is head. "Ok, if is that what you want. Just know I'm here for you Greg and please don't go down! You deserve a good life." And he raised his beer to make a toast with him. "Came back safe!" Jay said when Mouse toasted with him smiling. "Thank you, man! I text everyone to be here in a bit to buy some drinks after I left. You'll stay right?"

"Off course, Erin is going to kill me but off course I'll stay!" Jay said smiling.

"I text her too, and she said she was coming so she will probably be here any minute." Mouse added.

Jay's eyes widened. "Oh boy!"

"What? Did I mess up?" Mouse asked, a bit lost.

Jay shook his head. "No man! I messed up!" And when he directed his look to the door he saw her enter all smiles to everyone. She saw him and smiled shyly, making him relax a bit and wave at her. Maybe she was not so upset after all, he thought to himself.

"So, should I sleep on the couch tonight?" Jay asked with a teasing smile trying to figure out how she was about their disagreement before he left to meet Mouse. They had come back home in different cars so there was no opportunity to talk what so ever.

"I don't do that Jay! We talk about our disagreements and solve them out... We don't go to bed at odds with each other ok?" She said it soft and sweet and he just came to her to hug her. "Jay I'm sorry I could have been a little more ... I should have noticed that you wanted to help Mouse."

"I'm the one who is sorry for just doing things without thinking." He was now with his arms around her and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "I still have a thing or two to learn about this being a couple thing!"

She laughed. "We have Jay, we have!"

He kissed her again. "We will get there, don't worry!"

"I wont!"

"So, we solve this in the bedroom?"

She mumbled something that sounded like a yes and before she knew it they were in their bed already half naked.
