Okay folks, time for another chapter of Alpha Gear Chronicles.
Been a while since I updated this and I'm honestly sorry about that, I've been wanting to continue it but I wasn't sure how to go about this next chapter.

[Mia P.O.V.]
The day after we took out that Black Talon guy, David decided we should head out and see about powering up our decks, be it through leveling or finding allies.
Personally I planned to head to the Harpies Hunting Ground and see about getting myself a Harpies Pet Dragon, preferably in a peaceful way as I really don't want to upset the Harpies by going in whip swinging.
"Sunlight I missed thee." I dramatically cried out as I feel to my knee's and spread my arms to catch the sun as my Harpie Lady chuckled at my drama.
"Come on Mia." Harpie Lady said patting my back, "I've missed the sun as much as you have but I'm not about to start praising it."
"Oh fine." I said standing up and checking the world map on my Bracer, "Okay so the Harpies Hunting Grounds is... That way." I said pointing to the north, then I took to the air with my Harpie Lady, giving her a quick glance, "Say, I know you seem to remember me and all, but would you happen to know anything about the Harpies Hunting Grounds?" I called out over the wind.
"The Hunting Grounds are our kinds nesting grounds." Harpie Lady replied, "Our kind usually set up colonies led by a Harpie Queen, whom gather up nestless Harpies that fly around the Hunting Grounds looking to survive, or were just spawned in. Once a small Colony is created other Harpies tend to gather around looking to settle down. The Bird faces also live near our nests, protecting them and keeping watch for intruders, if someone arrives not escorted by a local Harpie Lady arrive they send out an alarm and Sky Scouts patrol the area. Our nests are also occasionally attacked by Phantom Griffons, they have a higher attack value than most of our kind, but that's offset by their complete lack of defense so remember than. Other than that I don't know much about the nesting grounds, however I do know that Harpies have a more versatile evolution path than most other Monsters."
"How so?" I asked my Harpie Lady.
"Every Harpie Monster outside of the Harpie Girl and the triple threat of Harpie Lady Sisters is Level Four." Harpie Lady explained, "Thus our kinds evolution is more based on personal interest or skill set. A Queen, Cyber, Lady 1, 2, 3, Dancer, Channeler or an everyday Harpie Lady, it's nearly random what we become." Harpie Lady explained, "It's worth noting that our kind are highly protective of our chicks so if you see a Harpie Girl fluttering about then there will likely be a Harpie or two watching over it. Don't attack them or look threatening to them, it won't win you any points for the nest."
"Got it." I said continuing in our flight.

"Oh crap!" I cried out, quickly summoning my Blue Winged Crown as I descended on a Harpies nesting site that was currently being attacked by other Harpies, "Which are the invaders and which are the locals?"
"I've not a clue." My Harpie Lady said taking a battle stance, "One side seems to be wearing red war paint however so that should at least help us tell the difference."
One of the red painted Harpie Lady's looked at me, a common one by the looks of it, and then cried out to her allies.
"A Player is here!" She roared, "She has a Harpie Lady, she is their ally! Destroy her!"
"I think we've found our enemies." I said to my Harpie Lady as a trio of red Harpies flew toward us, and I readied my whip with a snap.

[Blue Winged Crown Lvl 4, LP: 400. ATK: 160, DEF: 120]
"Take this!" I shouted sweeping my wing at the red Harpies, causing a series of quills to shoot out and strike them for 70 Damage each.
My Harpie Lady then took the opening to dive an attack one of the red Harpies, and my Blue Winged Crown dove at the other, leaving me one to focus down on.
"Come on then, time for your punishment." I teased, I may not be a dominatrix, but I sure as hell can act the part of one.
"You? Punish me!?" The Harpie Lady squaked before she rushed at me talon's first.
I smirked and swung my whip out and smacked her hard with it, causing her to lose another 70 LP and veer off course...
Into the hands of another Player? When did she get here?
She had teal blue hair that was braided behind her head and reach the middle of her spine, a water drop hair clip near the bottom of it. She was wearing some kind of skin tight suit, though hers had some clear armor plating within it, her Bracer was blue and looked like a wave of water, meaning she was a Water Aqua Player... Kinda bland really, however what wasn't bland were the lethal looking spiked gauntlets on her hands. On her neck was some kind of green jeweled pendant I couldn't see well.
"You really picked a bad day to come here invader." The woman said to the Red Harpie Lady before slamming her knee into it's stomach and dealing a whopping 230 LP of damage to her and letting her drop to the ground then she slammed her foot on it's back, destroying the Monster and causing it to leave behind 4 coins, then she looked at me, "I don't think this one would like to join you." The woman said with a hint of playfulness in it.
"Thanks." I said, "I'd love to stay and chat, but I want to protect this nest from the invading Harpies right now."
"Good idea." The woman said, scooping up the coins and tossing them to me, "Nesting site first, talk later. I'm Aqua Trinity by the way."
"Mia Sparrow." I said as my Harpie Lady and Blue Winged Crown returned and handed me the money from their wins.
"Aright. Let's move it." Aqua said running deeper into the nesting site, I was about to follow but one of the Cyber Harpies grabbed me by the arm.
"Player, thank you for helping us." She said, "Let the Player that calls herself Aqua make her way to the queen for now, we need someone to check on the nursery over there, we can't spare anyone."
'The chicks!' I realized and nodded before taking off toward the nursery area with my Monsters.

When I reached Nursery I made note of the dozens of Harpie Girls and Pet Baby Dragons huddled in the largest cave while a Harpie Lady Sisters group with an adult Pet Dragon were fending off a pair of red painted Pet Dragons, with a third one coming close.
"Let's take out the third one before it get's too close!" I shouted looking at the Dragon
[Harpie's pet dragon Lvl 7, LP: 700, ATK: 200, DEF 250]
'That's 125 passive.' I thought looking at the Dragon I ran toward, 'I can only do about 15 a hit... Looks like I'm going to have to focus on distracting it for the time being until I the other's finish off that first one.'
"Hey lizard face!" I shouted at the red dragon, getting it's attention in time for me to launch a trio of feathers at it, dealing a total of 45 damage to it.
This angered the dragon enough to turn away from the nests and roar at me, before launching a fireball at me, which I quickly dove out of the way of and swung my whip at him as my Blue Winged Crown and Harpie Lady dove in, only to have to fly off as the dragon tried to bite at them.
"Gotta lose that mouth." I muttered, as I ran around the dragon, whom turned his body to keep facing me, "Get his attention!" I shouted to my monsters, causing My Blue Winged Crown to dive bomb it, clawing at the dragon for 35 damage before flying back off as the dragon snapped at it.
With it's attention off me I ran around and flew up, quickly making my way to it's head and sharply snapping my whip, wrapping around it's snout and cutting off it's more dangerous attacks.
"FIRE BOMBING!" I heard a man shout, causing me to look up and see a man jumping off the cliffs over the nursery.
This guy had bright red that was was cut fairly short, he was wearing an open vest and tight pant, he had the same gauntlets as Aqua and his Bracer was bright red and shaped like a flame.
Seeing him come toward me I jumped off the dragon as he drop kicked the dragon's face, dealing 175 damage to the dragon.
The man then slammed his fist into the top of the dragons head, dealing another 175 damage to it before using his fist to springboard off the dragon to land at the edge of the cliff the dragon had flown up from.
"Fear not!" The man declared, "Flare Trinity is he-"
The man, Flare- Aqua's brother apparently, was cut off when the Pet Dragon Tail swiped him off the cliff.
"My hero." I deadpanned before launching another volley of feathers at the dragon, dealing 45 more damage from the three feathers, with my Harpie Lady coming in to claw at the dragon for another 15 damage, and Blue Winged Crown doing 35 itself.
'175 more to go!' I thought, as I launched another volley of feathers, this time only one hit as it thrashed around, losing 15 LP, and subsequently smacking me with it's tail, sending me tumbling and costing me 50 LP.
"Ouch." I grunted flipping back up and sending out two volley's of feathers, one volley from each wing, all six feathers hit the flailing creature for 90 damage.
Before I could launch another volley of feathers, the Local Pet Dragon lunged in to bite the red Pet Dragon on the neck, causing it to shatter into glass, letting my whip fall to the ground.
I picked up my whip and turned to the local Pet Dragon, "Thanks." I said giving it a pat on the leg, which resulted in the dragon to give me a lick on the cheek before trundling back into it's cave, one of the Harpie Lady Sisters running up to me.
"Thank you Player." The blue haired sister said, "If that third Dragon had begun attacking us we wouldn't have prevailed. Go to the Queen, quickly now."
Point down from the nursery cliffs I could see that the Queen and Several Cyber Harpies were combating several other Cyber Harpies in front of the queens nest.
"What about you?" I asked the sisters, "That battle can't have left you in good condition."
"Me, my sister's, and the Dragon are strong enough to repel whatever they have left to throw at the Nursery." The Harpie assured.
"Alright then." I said nodding before flying off the cliff. 'I hope that Flare guy is alright.' I thought remembering the man that got knocked off the cliff.

Once I reached the Queens nest I took note of 5 red Cyber Harpie Ladies that were approaching the Queen, so I sent my Harpie lady and Blue Winged Crown to deal with one each while I whipped a third by the leg.
[Cyber Harpie Lady Lvl 4, LP:400, ATK: 180, DEF: 130]
"Wha-!?" The Harpie squawked before I pulled down on the whip and slammed her to the ground, dealing 80 Damage to her before yanking on the whip and dragging her closer to me while releasing her from the whip.
As she rolled toward me I lifted my taloned foot and slammed down on her, dealing another 80 damage, followed by jumping off her and swinging my whip at her stunned form, dealing 80 more.
She managed to get up and glare at me, only for me to launch my feathers at her and all three dealt more than enough to shatter her with a scream.
I turned to face the next Harpie Lady, only to see it was engaged in a fight with another Player.
This guy was buffed, and with the blonde buzzcut, black sunglassed, leather jacket, and the same gauntlets on Aqua and Flare, this guy I had pegged as some kind of bouncer to a club.
"Flock off." The man said, his voice rather deep, before grabbing the Harpie and throwing an uppercut that dealt 270 Damage to her, but shattered her so I assumed she had taken some damage.
"Nice punch." I said looking at the guy with surprise.
"Thanks." The man said cracking his neck, "Volt Trinity. You seen my baby sis and bro around here?"
I was about to answer when Aqua and Flare ran up to us, Flare stopping to grab the last Cyber Harpie Lady that was fleeing.
"Heads up bro!" Flare shouted throwing the red Cyber Harpie at Volt, who simply held up his right hand to catch the red Cyber Harpie by her neck.
Volt then slammed the Cyber Harpie violently into the ground, taking a knee as he did so he could reach the ground, the slam cost the Harpie Lady 270 LP. Volt then lifted the Harpie back up enough to see her face and chest off the ground just long enough for Aqua to rush in a slam her knee into the Cyber Harpies face, shattering her like glass.
"All clear!" Volt shouted.
The Harpie Ladies were quick to act, the first thing they did was asses the damage of their Queen, who waved them off and flew off toward the nursery.
While the Harpies were assessing their wounded I turned to the Trinity Siblings, "So... you guys are all siblings?" I asked.
"Yep." Aqua said smiling as she walked up to me, "Flare's the youngest, and Volt over there is the oldest."
"'Sup." Volt said crossing his arms and leaning against the cliff.
"Don't mind Volt too much." Aqua said, "And don't listen to Flare when it's not about cooking either."
"Hey!" Flare shouted.
Aqua waved them off, "Anyway, I'm guessing you came here to get some Harpie Ladies?" Aqua asked.
"No, I came for a Pet Dragon." I said, "Though I won't say no to other Harpie Ladies joining me, what about you?"
Aqua smiled "My brothers and I own a place called Club Trinity back in Condoor, largest City in this world." Aqua said.
"That's debated!" Flare called out.
"Anyway, Club Trinity ain't a strip club, it's a bit of a hang out place really." Aqua said, "Volt there is the bouncer, Flare's head chef, and I manage the drinks. Anyway the reason we're out here is because while the food we're all used to is fine and all, and ingredients delivered by the Administration is cheap, we like to go out and pick up the fruits and herbs Monsters find in the wild, you'd be amazed at the flavors these food only found in this world give."
"Sounds... Interesting." I said, admittedly a little unsure about eating what is effectively alien food.
"Anyway I was going to ask the Queen here if we could scavenge for local delicacies, and thanks to this Wind Charmers Pendant I can understand all Wind Affinity Monsters so long as I wear it." Aqua said, "But I think we might have gotten caught up in a clan war."
"You think?" Volt snarked.
"Shut up Volt." Aqua hissed.
At that moment a Cyber Harpy Lady approached us, "The Queen would like to thank you all for helping us repel the warbirds that attacked us." She said.
"Warbirds?" I asked confused at the term.
"It is what our kind term Harpie Nests that are hostile to other Harpie Nests." The Cyber Harpy explained, "The queen would like to speak to you all as to why you are here in the first place as well. She wishes to speak with the Player that holds allegiance toward one of our kin first."
"Very well." I said taking a deep breath and removing the Blue Winged Crown from the Bracer, "Take me to your leader."
"Oh my god..." Aqua groaned at my line.

Okay folks, that is the chapter.
Now before I go I would like to say that over the past couple of weeks I have downloaded and have been playing Monster Super League. And due to my failed attempts and joining a Clan I went and built my own.

Yes I used the same Clan name from Amity Arena, my original 4 were taken already.
