Hi! To think to update this for god knows after 2 years?! I am alive, don't worry but Im struggling. With the release of KHIII, I present to you, an update!
12 am.
It was already midnight and Sora was still awake. Widely awake that his eyes are wide enough like a owl has. "Dammit. Mom's gonna be mad at me if I woke up late." mumbling to himself, as the brunette walks out of his bed going downstairs to get himself a glass of milk.
Milk always does the trick, as their Mom, Aerith would say.
He grabbed his doorknob, turning the knob as quietly as possible (his room was beside their parents and of course, their door isn't closed so small sounds can really be heard inside their room) and make his towards the staircase. Even walking down was already a pain but he must triumph in order to succeed.
After 20 steps of slow stepping, he reached the kitchen and grabbed himself a glass of healthy cow milk. Sora grabbed his custom-made glass which was a gift by his girlfriend, Kairi last Valentines Day.
Just remembering his face when he received the gift always made the brunette embarrassed himself.
Creek!
Sora was startled on the sound, almost dropping the glass when he saw his twin brother, Vanitas, also present. Vanitas made a tsked sound and went towards the couch. In hushed voice, Sora complained. "Jeez, Vani. Don't just scare me like that! I thought that was Mom."
"Pour me a glass as well. Also, pipe down your voice or we're both in trouble." Vanitas replied grabbing the television remote. His fingers faster than a speed of light while punching the volume down button rapidly so for the tv to be on without giving them away. After that, he surfed the channel for good show, anime or just a show that's entertaining. Sora rolled his eyes but did what his twin ordered him to do.
The brunette walked towards the couch with two glass of milks in his hands. He gave Vanitas his own before joining his twin on the couch. The raven thanked Sora still surfing through the channels and decided upon a shopping tv show (both do not understand the concept of why televisions would even broadcast in tv about online shopping? Especially at midnight?!)
12: 37 am
"Oh hey! That vacuum cleaner looks like the one Dad bought from a garage sale."
"What a cheap present to give your wife a cleaning appliances."
1: 00 am
"Oh my god! Verum Rex looks so lit, Vani! That Yozora-slash-Riku-slash-look-alike is definitely a worth to play."
"This was Nomura's fuck-off from the whole Final Fantasy XV team for removing him in the project."
"What? Nomura has been removed?! Why didn't I know this?!"
"For the likes of God Almighty, So-"
"I just realized that we should keep quiet or Mom and Dad would know we aren't sleeping yet."
"Gee Sora, that's a great idea. Why didn't I never realized that from the last one hour that we've been here downstairs."
"You know what, Vani, sometimes I really hate."
"Oh, the feeling is mutual."
2:45 am
"I'm sleepy, Vani. Can we go now upstairs?"
"Get back on your own, I'm going to finish this level before I hit the sack."
"But Vani-"
4: 12 am
"Vanitas…"
"Almost…"
6:30 am
It was already morning, the twins slept in the couch, tv still open, Vanitas still holding the game controller while Sora was snoring without a care even though his raven twin was crushing his entire weight onto the brunettes.
"Looks like a pair of twins are grounded for the rest of the weekend." a woman's voice said. The two of them quickly opened their eyes sitting properly as they saw their mother, Aerith in front of them, her hands crossed between giving off her so called smile that the two of them that they were in really serious trouble.
"Sora. Vanitas." Aerith said their name once more but this time the tone changed and it was menacing and scary. Zack was outside of Aerith's peripheral making an apologetic gesture towards the two which clearly translates to: I've tried to persuade her! Believe me, kids. There's nothing I can do, plus, I want to live for a few more years!
Sorry you two but goodluck with your mother's wrath.
