AN: My apologizes it has been so long since the last update school has taken up most of my time and is nearly over but that is no excuse for leaving you all without a chapter for three months.
Last time on Dragonball GT Tien confronted Babidi who he figured out was behind much of the invasion on Earth. Unfortunately, the wizard foresaw this and summoned his most powerful minion Dabura. During the battle Babidi enacted his true plan using his power to bring back the once proud Terror of the Universe Majin Buu stronger than ever. With his new ultimate weapon at his command the wizard marked Buu's first two targets Tien and Dabura who have no idea what's coming after them. At the same time Vegeta met up with his father and realizing there was a bigger threat for now teamed up to stop the forces invading Earth although for completely different reasons. Rushing past any weak henchmen 18 and Krillin quickly disposed of them with simple chops or kicks while 17 took slightly longer making sure to go for the kill with either a blast to the head or even shoving his arm through their bodies nearly bathing himself in blood. "We almost there?" He remarked impatiently. Ignoring him the two parents flew past buildings barely registering the fact this once grand city was now a heap of rubble only wishing to find their daughter and get our safely. "AH!" Hearing the cry of a shrill voice Krillin and 18 froze up because at that moment they knew who it was. "MARRON!" In a rush the two blew past everything, until they came upon their daughter whose arm was locked in the grip of a familiar enemy one that he knew all too well. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" With a furious rush the old man knocked Tambourine away while 18 hugged her daughter tightly. "Take care of her 18, this guy is mine."
Locking eyes with Krillin the monstrosity slithered like a snake. "You shall pay for getting in my way filthy human." Growling in anger both mother and daughter watched in surprise as the normally calm man was now enraged perhaps even bloodthirsty something they had never seen before. "Not this time. This time the only one who will die is you." At this Tambourine was now confused unable to recognize the young man he had killed so many years ago. "Have we met?" Clenching his teeth in barely contained rage the monk merely glared even harder. "You killed me many years ago when I was too tired to fight back and stole my best friends Dragonball." Immediately it all clicked into place as the slimy creature smiled maliciously. "Ah, yes now I remember, Krillin if I recall that pathetic human I disposed of. Now there's three bugs to play with."
Unfortunately for Tambourine that was the worst thing you could possibly say as the human powered up. By just flexing his base power it was enough to utterly batter the mutated Namekian. Cocking his fist back the human leaped at his enemy and delivered a Full Power punch to the creature.
BOOM
With that single attack Tambourine exploded leaving nothing but a greasy smear on his fist. Wiping it off on his pants Krillin took a deep breath to recenter himself before hugging both his wife and child while 17 watched from the side a bit unconformable at what was going on. "Are you alright?" 18 asked her daughter. Nodding the young woman relaxed. "Yea I was just going shopping when suddenly a big hole in the sky appeared and monsters came after all of us. What are we going to do mom?" Taking a moment to consider their options 18 thought up of a plan. "Get to Dende's that's the only place I can think of as safe for you honey. You two go on ahead me and 17 need to do something right quick before we can join you." After a moment's hesitation father and daughter left as 17 watched them for only a moment just long enough for 18 to put her hand right at the back of his head. "Who are you?"
Perplexed 17 could only ask his sister what was going on. "What are you talkin about sis it's me your brother Android 17." Refusing to back down 18 snarled. "You can't fool me ever since you failed to know Marron, I knew something was off. Even the way you fight is nothing like my brother he doesn't relish in killing unlike you." Sighing "17" shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. "Guess the gig's up. You're correct I'm not 17 just an imitation made by our father to infiltrate your group and kill them. Call me Android 22 and while my primary objective is screwed, I still can fulfill my secondary." In a quick motion 21 brought his hand to 18's just as she fired sending off an explosion that sent both Androids flying.
Being the first to get up 22 locked eyes with his sister who was now glaring daggers. "I've been tasked to absorb you along with our brother so that way we can become the ultimate fighter for our father. I had hoped to do this without much fighting, but it seems that is moot." In movements too quick for 18 to defend against he knocked her across the face sending her crashing through buildings. Realigning herself she brought up her hands to block another attacking sending shock waves throughout the area and ripples of pain in her arms. "I've been trained by my big brother on how to fight you and anyone else you're outmatched." He says with a smirk before being surprised with a sweep by 18 that momentarily broke his guard allowing her to blast him back.
It didn't do much damage, but it allowed our hero a reprieve. "And you're arrogant you little snot-nosed brat." Summoning two Destructo Disks 18 threw them at the impostor forcing him on the momentary defensive. Focused on the pink energy disks 22 manages to avoid them with ease, but upon looking back at his sister he sees her missing. "I see, trying to use stealth against me not a bad idea, but I've been trained for this." Walking around buildings he waited for an attack of some sort, and suddenly a blast came at him from behind that was quickly deflected. Yet no sign of 18 as it seemed that was not her big attack keeping the villain on edge.
Soon after a flurry of Ki Balls rose from the ground and attack nearly taking his head off if it wasn't for his quick thinking. Summoning his strength 22 erupted a powerful barrier to protect himself dissolving any attacks coming at him, but just as he was bringing it down 18 dropped from the sky her hands lit up with energy. "RAH!" Before he could reengage his barrier, the attack struck him hard and even while blocking it managed to send him caving into the ground before a loud explosion overtook the area in smoke and soot. Coughing up whatever air was in her debatably lungs or whatever generated the same thing in her bio-mechanical body the mother tried to see what happened to her foe, but currently that was impossible until it cleared up.
POW
Before she could even defend herself 22 struck her with a kick forcing her body to roll like a ball along the street. Getting back up the smog had dissipated enough so she could see her brother who only contained a number of minor scrapes and bruises not the critical injury she had been hoping for. "I admit I'm impressed with your cunning. Waiting until I was in the middle of a move to strike me with a powerful attack. Fortunately, I was created to be not only strong but durable so an attack like that was not nearly enough to kill me." Outstretching his hand 22 prepared to incapacitate the woman as his hand lit up in a familiar motion that reminded her too much of 17.
"Get away from my wife!" Before it could be fired Krillin kicked the Android right in the face knocking him away with an oof. Stunned at her husband's reemergence she automatically got up when he gave her a hand. "Wh-what are you doing here?" Smiling the elder man took a moment to enjoy her surprise before focusing on 22. "I know when something is wrong no matter how much you try to hide it, so I quickly dropped Marron off and came back as soon as I could. Luckily West City is pretty close to the Lookout or you would have been in trouble. What's going on with 17?"
Explaining the situation, he nodded and the two stood side by side against the impostor who stood back up now frustrated. "Your interference will only delay the inevitable. We will take over this world and you Krillin shall serve as its first victim." Bringing his hands up 22 fired two massive Ki Balls that nearly hit our heroes if they weren't fast enough to avoid them. Using their momentary separation to his advantage he fired a blast at 18 its power dealing a considerable blow, but Krillin who hadn't been attacked summoned his Kaioken 20x and attacked nearly catching 22 off-guard due to his increase in speed. Gaining an early advantage, the bald human pushed the Android back with a knee aimed at his thigh, but soon enough his superior speed and power took back command.
With a single Kiai from his palm to the human's stomach 22 prepared to finish the fight, but 18 intercepted blasting him from behind and allowing her husband to recover and knock him down with a double axe handle. Rubbing his stomach Krillin could already feel himself breathing hard with this constant Kaioken 20x taking a major toll on his body especially since he didn't have time to master it like Tien. Seeing her husband already under its effects 18 took a moment to check on him before the fighting began again.
Meanwhile 22 who looked up at the display noticed Krillin's beginning fatigue soon came up with a plan. Firing a blast at the man the two were forced to separate momentarily allowing the Android to shoot off another volley of Ki that this time was aimed only at him. Unable to avoid it he took the full attack head on managing to tank the energy but at a cost now considerably damaged. "Krillin!" 18 yelled out but had no time to worry as 22 was on her in an instant delivering a powerful chop to her neck that sent the wife flying. With her out of the picture he was free to take out the weak link attacking his foe who could barely defend himself pounding him into submission.
Summoning all of his strength left the monk created an Explosive Wave forcing his attacker back and shot out a blast with everything he had engulfing 22. Reverting back to his base he was now all out of power only able to keep himself flying, yet his opponent was barely scratched with only his clothes showing many signs of damage. "Not bad I gotta give you credit for your tenacity." In an instant he grabbed the human by the throat choking him, but before he could go for the kill 18 intervened charging at the impostor who was ready for it. Letting go of his victim the monster immediately turned and ducked a kick from the wild woman who was now unfocused leaving her open for a counterattack. With a knee he struck her in the stomach sending his opponent gasping for air before kicking her down to the ground.
THUD
Hitting the concrete 18 looked up to see the look alike of her brother stare down with cold calculating eyes putting his hands out as they lit up with energy. Allowing a tear to fall from her eye she could only watch as mounds of energy poured down on her vulnerable body slowly taking her apart piece by piece the pain excruciating forcing whatever vocal cords she had to cry out in agony until they could no longer function. Finally, after what felt like an eternity the torture seemed to end and now all she could do was lay there motionless barely able to tell the world around her except for the sound of footsteps beside her. "How fortunate you are not meant to perish today sister. Now it's time to fulfill our father's wish whether you want to or not."
Feeling a hand on her chest this time an even greater pain occurred as if her body was being ripped apart from the inside a bright light now surrounding her and 22. As a wave of darkness overcame her vision only one last thought came. "Krillin, Marron, I'm so sorry." And with that the woman known as 18 was gone absorbed into 22's being and out came was a new Android one with a muscular body similar to 22 but hair identical to 18. Looking at their hands the new creation rose to the air starring at them self in awe. "Now we are Android 35 one step closer to becoming our true self. With this power Android 17 has no hope of resisting his true purpose." Looking down at Krillin's unconscious body the new Android considered finishing the job, but something stopped them. "He's no threat, best to just find our brother instead of waste time."
Giving one final glance 35 was off not seeing the tearful glare from a reawakened man. Now alone all he could do was sob seeing his wife lost to this new monster tore him up inside and for the first time since his birth he cried like a baby unable to hold back the emotions of a broken man.
With the new Android 35 on the loose it's obvious Dr. Gero has his own plans in this invasion to assemble a warrior of unrivaled power. Now not only is there the transformed Majuub to deal with but a new menace that can only get stronger unknown to anyone except the mourning husband. As their numbers deplete will our heroes be able to launch a counterattack, or will things only continue to get worse if no one else shows up to help in the fight? Find out next time on Dragonball GT!
