February 2019. Andrew, now twenty four years old, was starting to get a real life on track. He had decided to pursue a career in graduated from Broadcast school, started a new job at a live stream studio, and he was dating a very nice young lady named Latrise.
The only problem? He was completely and utterly obsessed with RWBY. The sixth volume of the series had concluded, and all of the emotions, Joy in particular, couldn't wait for the next volume, which was set to come out next fall. Once again, Fanboy Island was exploding with energy. Every single daydream Imagination Land turned out seemed to be RWBY-related. Sadness and Anger were both flustered, having to wait another nine months.
Earlier once the volume started, Joy had invited nearly every RWBY character to Headquarters for a party. And they had never left.
Today, Andrew was at his new job, trying to focus on the things his supervisor and mentor, Al, was teaching him about operating the switch, but the never-ending party in Headquarters was distracting him.
Casey Lee Williams songs were blasting on the speakers, both in Headquarters and Fanboy Island. Ruby and all her friends and enemies were dancing, drinking, flirting, screaming, fighting, overall going nuts. Andrew's favorite ships were making out. Joy, Sadness, and Anger were joining them in the chaos. At the moment, Sadness and Anger were on the couch discussing theories and predicting what might happen next volume. Joy and Nora were both riding around on Ursas, rodeo style.
Fear, Logic, and Disgust sat at his spot at the console, trying desperately to listen to Al over the noise. Needless to say, not an easy task. Finally, Fear huffed and got up from his seat.
"Logic, take the wheel," he ordered.
"Understood," Logic nodded. Disgust got up from his seat and followed Fear to Joy and the others.
"Guys, come on," Fear pleaded. "We really need to focus right now."
"Yeah," Disgust added. "This is a really good opportunity for us. If you guys keep this party going, Andrew's going to get distracted, and then he's going to blow it!"
"I'm sorry guys!" Joy called over, riding his Ursa over. "I just can't help it. I can't get over how awesome this show is!"
"Yeah," Anger added. "And there's so much to think about. Like Neo. We know she's going to do something that everyone will hate in V seven." He gestured a small purple memory orb in his hand, looking at a post on the Rooster Teeth website. "But what?"
"I think we already know," Sadness replied. "She's going to stab out one of Ruby's silver eyes."
"Some people on the forums are thinking she might kill Qrow," Anger added. "That's a possibility. It's gotta be one of those two."
"Look, I love RWBY as much as the rest of you," Fear interjected. "But right now, we have a job to do. We're finally pursuing a career, on our way to growing up, moving out, and being an independent man, and we can't afford to be distracted."
He was interrupted when a drunk Yang, leaning on Blake suddenly crashed into the core memories, knocking the Movie Island core memory off is perch. The island went black.
Fear scrambled to jam the memory back into is place. Thankfully, the island lit up before any damage could seem to be done. Andrew was still listening to Al.
"Be careful!" Fear scolded Yang.
"Hey, sorry, purple guy!" Yang giggled. "Take it easy!" Blake pulled her away.
Fear glanced back at the core memory podium, and gasped in horror. "WHERE'S THE RESPONSIBILITY CORE MEMORY?" He screamed. He saw Qrow, who had blacked out, laying on the couch, holding the core memory like a teddy bear. Fear rushed over to grab it from him.
"Hey! Put those down!" Disgust rushed over to stop Sun, Neptune, and Jaune who were juggling and playing Catch with memories.
Roman Torchwick and Cinder Fall were reading over some of the fanfic manuscripts that had been delivered from Imagination Land. "Hmm, these are some interesting fanfic ideas," Roman commented.
Another few minutes of chaos, and Disgust and Fear, both exhausted, slumped back to the console to find a very frustrated-looking Logic.
"I can't keep this up on my own," Logic said, his voice tense. "I need a break soon."
"Tag in," Fear panted. He and Disgust sat down and started hitting buttons and controls to keep Andrew focused on his work.
The show, about auctioning toy cars, was live. Now Andrew was listening to the On-Air talent, paying attention to cues when to cut to a new camera.
"What are we gonna do guys?" Fear asked. "This party is so distracting! It's only a matter of time before Andrew gets distracted and makes a mistake!"
"Well Joy, Sad, and Anger aren't being any help," Disgust growled. "They won't ask everyone to leave."
"I say we just get through today," Logic suggested, getting up to get a drink of water. "When we get home tonight, we're planning to play God of War 4. That should be a pleasant distraction from RWBY.
"God of War 4?" Fear repeated. "God of War... That's it!"
The next day, Andrew was on his way back to work. The RWBY characters had still refused to leave, and Headquarters was still trashed.
Fear fired his laser blaster into the air. The gunshot silenced everyone and woke up everyone who was asleep. The music went silent.
"Okay everyone!" Fear barked. "That's enough! This party is over! Everybody needs to leave now!"
Some characters started laughing.
Mercury sauntered up to Fear. "Oh yeah, little man? Who's gonna make us leave? You?"
"Yeah, don't be such a buzzkill, Fear!" Joy called over.
"No, I'm not going to make you leave," Fear answered Mercury. "My new bouncer will."
Fear pointed to the elevator, and in walked Kratos, followed by Atreus, Freya, Brok, Sindri, Baldur, Zeus, Hades, and several other God of War characters, both Norse and Greek.
"You heard him," Kratos roared, the Leviathan ax in one hand, and one of the two Blades of Chaos in the other. "This party has ended! Everybody out! Now!"
"We're not going anywhere!" Raven shouted back, drawing her sword. "We're enjoying the spotlight! All the power being fed to Fanboy Island."
"Wait, they may be right," Ruby interjected. "We don't want to ruin Andrew's chances with his job."
"Are you with us or against us, Ruby?" Emerald hissed.
"Enough!" Kratos barked. "Leave now, or face my rage!"
Atreus drew an arrow, and aimed at Pyrrha.
And then, all Hell broke loose. Headquarters exploded into battle, the RWBY and God of War characters going at each other like animals. Some RWBY characters, like Ruby, had defected to Fear's side and fought against their colleagues.
"Kicking out characters with more characters?" Disgust whispered to Fear from behind some cover. "Did you really think this was a good idea?"
"Well I didn't see you coming up with any ideas!" Fear snapped.
The battle raged on for days, but it only served to distract Andrew more. Eventually, Kratos and his allies had driven out the RWBY characters, the latter forced to retreat to Fanboy Island. But they would be back. They would keep coming back as long as Andrew was interested in their series. Fear kept Kratos around to hold them out when needed.
