The Black Leaves
Chapter 41
"We are afraid to ask: but how are we going to get to nearly the opposite side of the planet." Naruto asked as he walked beside Empress down an organic hallway. Other symbiotes could be seen zipping in and out of the various hallways that lines the walls, floor and ceiling of the main hallway the two were walking through.
Empress just gave a small smirk. "Don't you were yourself Lord Venom. We have that covered." She looked forward. "Now, we trust you read up on your mission and understand what you must do?"
"Yes." Naruto responded with a nod. His symbiote was sure to make Naruto read the mission information at least a dozen times just so that he knew exactly what was going on and not get distracted by anything unnecessary. Even though both were very well aware that Venom would be the one that would be distracted as well as being a distraction.
The pair continued down the hallway before a set of organic doors opened; revealing a round room with computer terminals lining the walls and a human sized pod-like structure smack dab in the center of the room. A bad feeling slowly made it's way up Naruto's spine.
"Wh-what is that?" He asked with a gulp.
"Your ticket out of here." Empress said with a horrifying grin. Her grin grew even bigger when Naruto's face paled as Venom filled him in on past experiences inside one of those pods.
"Your kidding right? There is no way we are going into that thing!" Naruto objected while trying to flee the room as quickly as possible. He did not get very far as Empress' tentacles were quick to wrap around the boy and drag him back into the room.
"Oh man." Naruto groaned as he was hoisted into the air before being tossed straight into the strange pod. "Wait! Your jut going to send us in just like that?"
Empress walked over to a small terminal that stood between the pod and one of the computer monitors. "If you read all of the mission details then you should be fine. All the equipment you will need is in your transport." She pushed some buttons on the terminal before looking up and smiling at Naruto.
Naruto hung his head. "Do we really have to travel this way?" He begged.
Empress nodded her head. "If you wish to ever make it home alive you do. Between here and there are so many different environments; some that are very deadly to our kind, that traversing any other way would be suicide."
Naruto gave a heavy sigh before sinking back into the pod and resigning his-self to his fate. The door to the pod closed as the device slowly rose towards the roof up via a pedestal appearing beneath it. The tentacles covering the roof slowly retracted away, revealing the open sky above.
"Remember." Empress' said over an intercom. "Should things not go well; use the emergency supplies and return back at once."
The pod began to rumble as it was preparing to launch.
'Is this going to hurt?' Naruto asked his parasite.
'It might.' Venom responded vaguely.
'This isn't much of an introduction to a chapter is it?'
'It could be going better. Instantly throwing us directly into the next part so suddenly? Not very professionally done if you ask us.'
A countdown started as the rumbling increased and the sounds of the engines ignited underneath the pod. Several small lights flashed as the pod slowly began to rise into the air. The craft hovered in the air for a few moments as it turned around and pointed in the direction of where it was going to land.
For a split second, everything was quiet as the engines suddenly shut themselves off. The pod was about to enter into a short free-fall when the engines suddenly exploded into live and launched the small pod into an incredibly large arc. The force of the pod's sudden acceleration forced Naruto's body down hard as it continued at a ludicrous speed.
The young ninja tried to pry his-self off the floor of the pod and onto the actual seat he had not payed any attention to upon entering said pod. Unfortunately, the extreme velocity of the transport was too much for even him to resist at the moment. The pod was much too small for Naruto to risk transforming inside; so the only thing he could do was brace for the inevitable impact of his face against the wall.
The wait for the impact was surprisingly longer than Naruto had expected. It took a total of seven minutes before the pod came to a sudden halt and Naruto's skull fractured against the pod door.
Naruto finally got up to his feet while holding his throbbing and slowly healing head. He looked out through the small window on the pod door and saw that the pod was currently hovering in the air before suddenly shutting down completely and letting gravity take it back down to Earth. The transport went into free-fall for a good few seconds before finally slamming into the ground.
Naruto did not get to see where he landed since the very instant the pod slammed into the ground; the boy's head slammed down onto the ground with enough force to further shatter his already damaged skull and causing him to finally black-out.
Naruto woke up when the first rays of the rising sun hit his face. Apparently Naruto had been out cold for the rest of the previous day and night while his brain and skull healed.
The door to the pod was open and all Naruto could see was trees. The boy slowly got to his feet and stumbled out of the crashed vehicle and into the woods and took a look around before climbing his way up a nearby tree and scouting out the surrounding area.
Looking around, Naruto could see the mountains that surrounded the area as well as several farms in between and on the sides of the large mountain range. Seeing a road that wrapped through the valley, Naruto leapt through the trees before landing near it and following it towards the direction of his target.
'You know; we've been thinking.' Venom said as his host walked along the concrete.
'That's not good.' Naruto responded with a sarcastic tone. Venom stayed silent for a moment before responding.
"Like we said; we've been thinking. Though your childish size and age might work for us in some situations. There are going to be those where being a brat is not going to help us at all.'
Naruto gave a nod in understanding.
'So, we are going to age you a bit before your meant to. It will hurt though, a lot. Like, so much that you'll probably beg for death.'
Naruto palled a little at the description Venom gave.
'There is some good news though. You'll get to skip puberty.'
'Wait.' Naruto began. 'If we can repair ourselves from just a simple puddle almost painlessly; why is this going to hurt?'
'Forced aging is not like repairing boy. We don't know what we will look like when fully grown and thus can only hope we don't screw up when we increase your hormone output and greatly increase your metabolism. We do know that it is going to take a lot of energy, so whenever you decide to give it a go; be sure you have eaten more than you ever have before'
'Your not going to force it?' Naruto asked with shock.
'We don't really have a choice in the matter. This change will effect us as well.'
Naruto gave a shrug as he saw a well worn dirt road that branched off of the paved road. The dirt road was pretty linear with only some minor curves situated along the way. Figuring that going down the dirt road was the best way to get to the house where his target was; Naruto decided to walk down it.
The further down the road Naruto went, the fewer houses he saw. Eventually, there were no houses visible and there was nothing but forest on both sides of the dirt road. The smell of water slowly filled Naruto's nostrils as he approached a large lake with the house he was looking for on the other side. The road ended and a well walked pathway lead up to the front gate of the property.
As he walked closer to the front gate, Naruto took note of a giant junk of glass dome covered Earth floating above the lake with torrents of steaming water gushing out from it's sides.
Choosing to ignore that, Naruto approached the gate and was startled when two large logs started talking to him. The one on the left had blue writing in hit and a large blue light that flashed whenever it talked while the log on the right had red writing and a red light. Both had four metal log-like legs that helped support them.
"Welcome to the Masaki household." Said the blue one with a deep booming voice.
"May we ask what your business is here?" The red one said in a more nasally sounding voice. Both of them turned on the spot to face Naruto.
Thinking quickly, Naruto responded with a polite smile. "We are just here to visit the Masaki Shrine." He lied.
"Oh?" The red one said. "It is good to see young people embracing the unique culture here." He turned in place to face his blue companion. "We do not get that many young people to the shrine do we Azaka?"
"We do not Kamidake. Most that go to the shrine are much older than our current guest." Azaka responded. "Regardless, you may pass through. The shrine you are looking for is up the mountain. You should be able to see it from here."
The small wooden gate open and Naruto gave a thankful bow before entering.
'You know what those were?' Naruto asked his symbiote
'Not a clue.'
The path to the house ended at the water and a well constructed walking bridge that lead to a very small hunk of land that the actual Masaki residence sat upon. A path lead from the main household up the nearby mountain and ended at a shrine near halfway up the mountain's side. Naruto ignored the other path and just walked across the bridge and to the entrance to the modern-day, two-story house.
"Smells good." Naruto said to himself as he approached the front door.
'What are you doing?'Venom asked in a somewhat disappointed tone. 'We agreed on sneaking in and simply taking what we needed. Knocking on the front door is the literal opposite of that.'
'We need to get at least an idea of where to find the women. It doesn't hurt to know the layout of the house too.'
Venom decided not to respond and Naruto went on to give the solid wooden door a hard knock. There was no answer, so he decided to knock again. Again, there was no answer. Naruto was about to turn and head up to the shrine when he heard a muffled voice from inside. Suddenly, tendrils sprouted from Naruto's body and started to pound the boy's flesh relentlessly; causing his cuts and bruises all over his young skin.
"Hold on, I'm coming." A little girl's voice shouted out from inside the home. The door opened to reveal a slightly winded eight-year old girl with freckles, bright blue-hair in two very long pigtails held by two very large red orbs, and very bright red eyes.
The girl was wearing an apron over her regal appearing clothes and was carrying a soup ladle in her hand. The young child was obviously in the middle of cooking when Naruto had first knocked and had been trying to not ruin whatever meal she was making before rushing to the door.
"Hello there." Naruto greeted with a bit of a pained bow.
"H-Hello." The girl said with a pant. "I'm sorry for how I look, but I was just in the middle of making dinner. But, welcome to the Masaki household; what is your name?" She returned Naruto's bow before looking up and noticing Naruto's state. "Oh my! Are you alright!?"
"We were on a camping trip when we got lost. We've been lost for a few days." Naruto found himself saying without any control of his own. "We are Naruto by the way."
The girl quickly grabbed Naruto's hand and yanked him indoors while going on about how he should take better care of himself. Naruto made an attempt to protest but was pushed down onto a couch and had a cup of tea shoved into his face.
"You sit right there and I'll get the medical kit." The girl put her wrists on her hips and pouted. "Where is everyone else? Dinner is almost ready."
The girl left only to return shortly with a small first aid kit that she placed on the floor before opening and starting to Naruto's self-inflicted wounds. It was only after the young girl began to bandage his wounds did Naruto hear the sounds of someone approaching the building.
Through the front door stepped a yawning dark-skinned woman with a head-full of fluffy blonde-hair and a very innocent look in her bright blue eyes. The woman rubbed her eyes as she walked across the room, sat down on a cushion in front of the dining table and laid her head down on said table and promptly fell asleep.
The blue-haired girl watched the blonde-haired girl do her thing while giving a nervous laugh before turning back to the "injured" Naruto. "That would be Mihoshi-san. She can be a bit to work with." The little girl nervously chuckled. "Oh! I forgot to tell you my name. I am Sasami."
"It is nice to meet you, Sasami-chan." Naruto said with a smile while the young girl stuck a band-aid on his cheek.
Not soon after Mihoshi's arrival, another woman walked through the front door. This woman had the same red eyes as Sasami but instead of blue hair; this woman's hair was a dark purple in color.
"Miss Mihoshi!" The purple-haired woman shouted. "It is very rude to barge in and fall asleep at the table!" She put her hands on her hips and sighed heavily when Mihoshi did not budge. She noticed Sasami out of the corner of her eye and noticed the newly bandaged Naruto as well.
"Um, hello there?" The woman said with a nervous smile. "Well, Sasami-chan; are you going to introduce me to our new guest?"
Sasami got to her feet and presented the person. "This is my older sister; Ayeka." She then turned to face her sister. "This is Naruto. He said he got lost in the surrounding forest and got hurt."
"Oh my! You poor dear." Ayeka daintily walked over to the couch and sat down next to Naruto. "You must be exhausted." She looked at her little sister who was already heading back into the kitchen. "Do you need to use the phone to call your family?"
"We don't have any." Naruto said without a second thought. It had become such common knowledge in his home village until not too long ago that Naruto forgot that not everyone in the world knew about his orphaned origins.
"Oh!" Ayeka covered her mouth. "You poor dear. It must have been so hard living on your own. Pardon me asking; but how long have you been on your own?"
"All my life." Naruto responded the same way.
A sudden bawling startled the two on the couch. They turned to see that Mihoshi had woken up and had a fountain of tears pouring from each of her eyes. Without any warning, the dark-skinned woman launched herself over the table, across the room, over the couch and enveloped Naruto in a massive full body-tackling hug; pushing the boy off the bed and onto the floor.
"That's so saaaaaaaaaad." Mihoshi bawled as she hugged Naruto tightly.
Ayeka jumped to her feet. "Miss Mihoshi! It improper for a lady to attack her guest; especially a guest that is injured while the master of the house is out!" She shouted as she grabbed Mihoshi by the collar and tried to yank her off.
"Hey, what's going on in here?!" Another woman's voice called out.
In walked the rest of the people that Naruto read about in the file. A tall woman with long and spiky cyan colored hair wearing a blue and yellow robe complete with black belt. A young man with tanned skin, short brown hair and brown eyes wearing working clothing. On top of his head sat a very small brown cat-rabbit hybrid with massive ears.
Naruto looked up at the two new people and gave a half-hearted wave while pretending to flinch in pain due to his 'injuries'.
The cyan haired woman looked down at Naruto and pointed at him. "Who's the brat?"
"He's a poor poor child that was hurt in the woods and has no family and is all alone in this world and has nowhere to go and has no one to take care of him and *hic* and *hic*!" Mihoshi bawled loudly.
"Sorry!" Sasami's voice called out from the kitchen. "He looked hurt and I had to help."
"Please, Lord Tenchi, we can not just abandon this child when he is in such a state." Ayeka said with a pleading look.
"Please Tenchi, can he stay? At least for the night?" Sasami gave the same look from the kitchen doorway. The creature on top of Tenchi's head gave off a short meow before leaping off his head and running over to Sasami and leap up onto her head. The creature gave a sad and pitiful meow as it looked at the young man.
Tenchi looked at all three with a bit of a disheveled expression, but went full on nervous when he looked over to see Mihoshi's tear filled eyes giving him the most pitiful look one could possibly imagine.
"I never said he couldn't stay the night." Tenchi said nervously. He looked over at the cyan haired woman who gave him a somewhat irritated look before walking up the stairs. Tenchi gave a worried look towards her fleeting form before walking over on the couch where Naruto was crawling back onto.
"I see you've already met Sasami, Ayeka and Mihoshi. I'm Masaki Tenchi." He said pointing to himself. "That little thing over there." He pointed to the kitchen as he implied the weird creature from earlier. "That is Ryo-Ohki. She's kind of the house pet."
He then pointed up the stairs. "The girl that went upstairs is Ryoko." He looked over at the closet door underneath the stairway. "We have another resident, but she doesn't come out much."
'Well, now we know where she likes to hide.' Venom hissed to his host.
For the remainder of the day, Naruto along with the Masaki crowd lazed about the house with Naruto mixing lies and truth about his past to answer whatever questions the girls had for him.
When night fell, Tenchi's father returned from work just in time for dinner; which Naruto had been so kindly invited to. Naruto noticed that the woman named Ryoko was not eating with the rest of the 'family'; this was noted by the other people at the table as well.
"She is probably off somewhere getting drunk." Ayeka scoffed as she ate. "That monster woman is never going to change."
"Oh Miss Ayeka." Mihoshi said in her usually bubbly voice. "You need to have more faith in Ryoko. I mean come oooooon, we were all out there harvesting so she could have just gotten tired or something."
Ayeka scoffed. "That woman did not even lift a single finger to help! All she did was try to molest Lord Tenchi at every chance! Who knows what she would have done if I had not been there?" She ended with a heavy huff.
Suddenly, the closet door opened and out walked a short girl that appeared no older than Naruto with a lot of very bright red hair. The girl stretched before taking a seat at the table and began eating.
'Target found. Shall we begin the hunt?'
"Miss Washu." Ayeka spoke up. "Shouldn't you introduce yourself to our new guest?" The irritation in her voice was obvious. Washu just gave the girl a very viscous glare before returning to her food.
Tenchi gave a nervous chuckle. "Naruto, this is Washu-chan."
"It is nice to meet you." Naruto said with the most convincing smile. Washu looked over at him for a moment before continuing to eat.
"I am so sorry about Miss Washu's attitude." Ayeka apologized. "She is not normally this rude." She shot the short girl a nasty glare; who shot a similar one right back.
"How!?" Washu shouted as she slammed her hands onto the table. "Many!?" She stood up and stomped a foot down on the short table. "Times have I said to NEVER!?" She got closer to Ayeka's face. "Call me Miss Washu! I am LITTLE Washu, OR Washu-CHAN! UNDERSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!?"
Sasami gave a heavy sigh before handing Naruto a bowl. "This house is never quiet for long."
A while after dinner had ended, everyone went to bed. Naruto was offered a pillow and blanket and was allowed to sleep on the bed in the den. The boy decided to wait a few hours to make sure that everyone was asleep before deciding to make his move.
His eyes shot open before he slowly st up and swung his legs over the edge of the couch.
'Lets us find the gems first.'
Naruto nodded his head before slinking to the floor and crawling with his arms and legs stretched out to his sides. He crawled along the floor like a lizard then crawled up the wall along the stairway. He reached the second story of the building and silently crawled down to the floor. Naruto crawled along the floor, passing several rooms before coming to one whose door was slightly open.
He took a peek inside and could see the sleeping form of Sasami, Mihoshi, and Ayeka. Naruto took note of the room before continuing down the hallway and approaching the room that reeked of Tenchi's scent.
The door was closed; but before Naruto opened it, he noted an odd root-looking device located on the door frame right beside the door handle. There was a very small red light on the device.
Naruto gently placed his hand over the device; his hand formed into a blob and he was able to slowly crush the small thing without triggering whatever it would have done. He slowly slid the door open and could see Tenchi laying asleep in his bed.
Naruto glanced around the room and saw the sword he was looking for sitting on a desk; two of the three gems he was looking for were embedded into the sword's hilt.
The young host crawled over to the sword and reached for it, only to receive a painful shock before his fingers could even touch it. Naruto held his throbbing hand when the sound of energy surging resonated behind him.
"I knew there was something up with you." A woman's voice spoke out. Naruto turned his head to see Ryoko sitting on the edge of Tenchi's bed with some sort of energy sword gripped in her hand.
She pointed the tip of the energy beam-blade in Naruto's direction. "Why don't you be a good little boy and tell me why your really here?"
Naruto sighed. "We had hoped to avoid any fighting." He slowly stood up. "We need those gems as well as Washu; so please do not interfere. It would be such a shame for this nice house to be destroyed just because of your hot-headed attitude."
He looked back at the sword on the table. "Strange; the report we were given said that the sword had three gems but we only see two." A gleam out of the corner of his eye caught Naruto's attention back to Ryoko. On her left wrist was one of the red gems imbedded into the flesh.
Naruto held out his hand towards the woman. "We would greatly appreciate you handing over that little gem you have there." He ended with a big smile.
Ryoko gave a confident smirk and a come hither gesture with her finger; initiating a confrontation.
"We really don't want to fight." Naruto said with an exasperated look. He did not have a choice as Ryoko suddenly flew into him and slammed Naruto right through Tenchi's bedroom wall. Naruto slammed into the hallway wall and landed on his feet.
"Your sturdier than you look." Ryoko said with a smirk.
"You have no idea." Naruto said as he dusted off.
"What is going on out here?!" Ayeka shrieked as she slid open the door to the room she was sleeping in.
"Ryoko? What's going on?" Tenchi asked in a daze as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Ryoko turned her head to look at the tired guy only to feel an open hand on the back of her head.
Next thing she knew, Ryoko's face was slammed into the floor before being violently stomped right through the floor.
"We need those gems." Naruto said rather calmly as he looked down through the new hole he had just helped make. He jumped through and landed hard on Ryoko's back.
The woman swung her arm in an effort to slam Naruto off. They boy turned his side semi-liquid and quickly stuck Ryoko's arm onto him. The blob reshaped itself into Naruto's arm; now holding onto Ryoko's wrist held firmly behind her.
"We thought you were much stronger than that. Looks like the report was wrong." He reached to dig out the gem imbedded into her wrist. An odd jingle stopped him right before touching the gem.
"Now, Ryoko is a vile monster of a woman and deserves whatever punishment she gets." Ayeka's voice called from the top of the stairs. "But I can not allow you to damage Lord Tenchi's home."
"Please understand." Naruto said calmly. "We are just after the gems and Washu. We do not have any desire to damage this home by any means."
"Those gems are the property of the Jurai Royal Family and taking them without the consent of a member of such a family is deemed a criminal offense."
"Well then. May we take the royal gems? Ayeka, Princess of the royal family of planet Jurai?" Naruto said with a smirk as he gave a small bow. "Or should we ask Princess Sasami? Or Prince Tenchi?"
"H-How do you know about that?"
"It was all in the report. We know everything about you and everyone else in this house. We know Tenchi's true origins; what Ryoko really is. We even know about Sasami's little secret."
Ayeka glared at Naruto as small floating logs appeared around Naruto. "What do you want?"
Naruto sighed while rolling his eyes. "Exactly what we have been saying what we want. We want the gems and Washu; that is all. We don't care about you, your sister, your brother, or this woman." He ended while twisting Ryoko's arm a bit.
"I'm afraid I can't let you have either." Ayeka looked down at Ryoko. "What are you doing down there woman? Are you letting this child best you for a reason?"
Ryoko sent Ayeka a nasty glare before looking over to Tenchi and locking eyes with him. Tenchi met her gaze and gave her a steely look coupled with a confirmatory nod.
Ryoko gave a satisfied smirk before unleashing an energy blast from her captured hand. This startled Naruto and caused him to loosen his grip on the woman and allow for Ryoko to shove him clean off her and deliver a powerful punch to Naruto's gut. The punch sent Naruto into the nearby wall and caused him to cough up a few drops of blood.
Ryoko flew straight for him with the intent of punching Naruto through the wall. Naruto gripped the wall and just before Ryoko made contact with him, Naruto pulled his self up higher; causing the woman to fly right through the wall, completely missing Naruto.
Before he could counter in any way, the small logs encircled Naruto and began to produce an electric current between each other. Naruto leaped out of the way just as an electric burst struck out towards him. He attached to the ceiling and quickly clambered up through the hole and up onto the second floor.
Ryoko quickly followed and formed energy around her fists and prepared for an attack. She slowly glanced around the dark hall, and saw not a single thing. There was no sign of the blond kid; not even a speck of blood could seen on the floor.
Some movement caught her eye and she quickly turned to see the window curtains of a newly opened window blowing in the wind. She slowly floated closer to the window, very cautious to what this new enemy could do. She could here Ayeka and Tenchi moving behind her and the sound of the sword Tenchi being activated.
Ryoko reached the window and cautiously peered through it; checking every possible direction for any sign of Naruto.
"Hey! What's with all the noise?" Mihoshi asked as she walked out of her room in her night clothes, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Miss Mihoshi! How you are able to sleep through all that has just happened is beyond me." Ayeka bellowed loudly. "Where is Sasami?"
"I'm right here Ayeka." The young girl said as she moved past Mihoshi, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as well. "What's going on?" She asked as she gazed down the hole in the floor.
"I don't see him." Ryoko said as she turned to look at everyone. The very instant she looked away, a massive black hand reached in through the window and grabbed her by the back of the head. She was violently yanked outside and tossed onto the ground below.
Ryoko was just barely able to jump out of the way as a large black mass slammed into the ground where she had landed. Venom quickly dashed forward and took a giant swipe at the woman.
Ryoko once again dodged the attack and started to lob bolts of energy in Venom's direction from an aerial position. The bolts hit the Earth around Venom and caused a large cloud of dust to form around the beast. A sudden swarm of black tentacles lashed out from within the cloud and was able to both slam into Ryoko as well as wrap around one of her arms.
Said tentacle quickly pulled Ryoko out of the air and smashed into the Earth below before violently pulling her into Venom's open hand.
"Unhand her!" Two familiar voice shouted. "Yes, you must!" Both Azaka and Kamidake shouted as they flew straight for the symbiote. Ayeka was currently flying in between them with the smaller logs around her generating an electric shield of sorts.
Venom raised Ryoko up before slamming a fist into her gut and sending her flying in Ayeka's direction. Using some sort of energy net, the two talking logs flew in front of Ayeka to catch Ryoko and allow Ayeka to pass by unhindered.
Venom braced for the impact but was still carried off when Ayeka slammed into him with her force field. Venom landed hard on his back while Ayeka continued past for a few meters.
"Thanks." Ryoko said as she recovered from Venom's attack and proceeded to fly straight for the beast.
"Our pleasure." The two logs said in response.
Ryoko generated an energy/beam sword and made an effort to impale Venom on the deadly weapon while he was distracted with Ayeka. Without even looking behind him, Venom leaped up and out of the way just before Ryoko's attack could land. She was just barely able to stop before colliding with Ayeka.
They both looked at Venom; who stood a good distance away with his large hulking form hunched over in preparation for an attack. His vile tongue slowly swaying about with every breath the beast took.
The sound of another energy weapon being drawn as well as a form of gun being cocked drew Venom's attention away from the two women. Directly behind him stood Tenchi wielding the blue energy sword and Mihoshi with some sort of alien handgun. Venom was completely surrounded.
'What do we do now?' Naruto asked his parasite. 'These people don't need to die.'
'Kill them anyway. Feed on them and let their strength become ours.' Venom said without a second thought. 'They are in our way and must be dealt with. Death is the easiest way.'
'There must be a better way.'
'We tried to explain and they reacted with violence. It is only appropriate to respond just the same.'
The four people slowly surrounded Venom; Ayeka with her force fields and guardians, Ryoko with here energy bolts and sword, Tenchi with his royal blade, and Mihoshi with her...gun. Venom slowly did a complete turn so that he could get an idea of how to handle the situation.
There was no clear escape route nor was there any easy way for him to make it past any of his opponents. He stopped his rotation and set his eyes on Tenchi; the boy's steely and determined glare locking with Venom's menacing white eyes.
Venom gave a sudden lunge forward towards Tenchi; who clenched his sword tightly and prepared to retaliate only for Venom to suddenly jump to the side and head straight for Mihoshi.
The blond-haired ditz gave a horrified scream at the charging beast as she fired here gun repeatedly, missing each shot. Venom leapt at the woman, mouth gaping wide with teeth ready to dig deep into flesh and tongues covered in enough saliva to drown a bull.
Right when Venom was about to swallow her, Mihoshi's gun found it's mark. Directly into Venom's wide open mouth. Whatever was used for ammo was powerful enough to completely obliterate Venom's skull; leaving nothing but his two slimy tongues and his tooth filled bottom jaw.
The momentum Venom had been running with kept his body moving and caused it to fall on top of Mihoshi. She gave a small shriek when the body pushed her to the ground and laid on top of the poor girl completely motionless. Tenchi and Ayeka quickly rushed over to the girl and helped pull her out from underneath the corpse while Ryoko kept an eye out in case it was a trick.
The body did not move. Mihoshi had tears welling up in her bright eyes as she looked at the purple blood covering her.
"Come dear. Let's get you cleaned up." Ayeka said as she lead the girl indoors.
Tenchi looked down at the body and then at the sword in his hands. "I wonder what he wanted this thing for?"
"He said he wanted the gems and Washu." Ryoko responded while looking at the corpse. "It doesn't matter now. He's dead."
"We should at least tell Washu about him."
"Do what you want." Ryoko said without a second thought. Tenchi proceeded to go back indoors while Ryoko stayed outside for a little while longer; still looking at the body. "That was too easy." She held her hand open and started form a ball of energy aimed at the corpse in front of her.
"Miss Ryoko!" Ayeka's voice called out from within the house. "Make yourself useful and help me with this."
Ryoko looked up to see Ayeka with her sleeves rolled up and a hammer in her hand. The cyan-haired woman sent the princess a glare before looking back at Venom's corpse; only to see that it had vanished.
"Damn!" She swore as she quickly looked around for any sign of the monster.
"Ryoko!" Ayeka shouted impatiently from the doorway. Ryoko rolled her yes before flickering and teleporting next to Ayeka, startling the princess.
A good distance away, Venom slowly pulled his self out of the water; two large thick white tendrils stuck out of the top of his throat acting like the eyes that were slowly being reformed.
'That could have gone better.' Naruto internally groaned as his alien body slowly clambered up onto land and leaned against a nearby tree.
'If it wasn't for those women we would have already gotten away by now with both the gems and Washu.' Venom responded with irritation. 'They now know of us and our mission. We must find a way to get in and capture that woman and those jewels!'
'I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. We can't risk attacking again since they know of us.' The combined life-form sat the rest of the night reforming their head and thinking up ways to gain what they needed.
