Black Leaves
Chapter 51
Yo. I got another story out. Read it. Review it. Please. I swear I have put more effort into the few chapters it has so far then anything else i have done in the one. SO READ IT.
After finally clearing out the exterior of any and all threats; Kakashi's team quickly met up at the main entrance of the massive castle of the diamyo of the Land of Snow. Sakura went through a few hand signs before pulling out and explosive tag attached to a kunai and tossing it high into the air.
The tag exploded into a mass of vibrant colors and remained for a a few moments before being swallowed up by the driving snow. Not soon after the explosion's dissipation did the roars of countless battle cries and the clashing of steel reach the ninja's ears. The assault on Doto had commenced in full.
Team Seven waited patiently until they saw Asama and the princess forcing their way through the terrible storm. Asama was holding Koyuki's wrist with an iron grip as the girl tried to flee from both the battle and castle.
It was only when they finally reached the group was she able to tear herself free from Asama's grasp. "I told you I am not doing it!" She screamed. "I don't want to be the leader of this stupid country! I don't want to lead these morons! I am an actress, not a princess!" She started a screaming rant; repeating herself several times until her face had become a bright red from the amount of shouting.
Everyone was silent except for the panting Koyuki.
"So is that it?" Naruto spoke up. He looked at the princess dead in the eye. "Your just going to leave? Your just going to walk right out of here after everything that has happened?"
"What the Hell do you know kid!?" Koyuki shouted in response.
"We know enough that we are going to continue this mission!" Naruto shouted back. "You can run away if you want. But we are not putting the sacrifices of those men down there to shame. We'll take down Doto all on our own if we have to and restore whatever peace used to be here."
Naruto's eyes hardened further as he continued to glare at the princess. "Do you really feel nothing towards this place? Do you really not care about those men down there that believe that you will restore peace to this land? Do you not even care even the smallest bit, about the man that murdered your father and forced you out of your home?" Ended in a more hushed tone.
Koyuki was having a hard time looking Naruto directly in the eye and decided to look down in front of him instead. His words were simple; but the force behind them dug deep into her heart. This wasn't about her, it was about every single person living within the Land of Snow. All of them were depending on her to free them from her uncles tyrannical grasp. There were people dying today with the belief strong in their heart that she would be able to save those that will live tomorrow.
"I," She said softly. "Am an actress. I have played the role of a princess for so many years. That is all I have known." She looked Naruto dead in the eye. "So I guess I'll just have to make that my permanent role now."
Asama's face grew into a massive smile while Kakashi nodded in agreement. Naruto gave a large smile before his head started to hurt. The words the princess said registered, but they sounded wrong; distorted. Like as if someone was trying to speak through a muffling liquid. Not only that, but her face was not correct either. It would shift from the thankful glance she was sending to one of regret and disappointment and back again.
Inside Naruto's mind; Venom was observing the same as well. 'Focus on the positives Naruto. Look at her smile, not the frown. Listen to the assurance in her voice, not the doubt.'
Her face and words continued to shift and distort as Naruto tried to focus everything he had on what expression she was truly showing. Inside of his mind, Venom was pounding away at the tentacle covered door with his massive fists. Needless to say, the parasite was pissed. First of all, someone had invaded his host's mind and body without his knowledge or acceptance. Secondly; whoever had entered Naruto's mind has caused the boy no end of pain and torment by manipulating his mind. Neither of those were something Venom was willing to accept.
Eventually, the image cleared and Naruto could see determination burning in the princess's eyes. Naruto gave her a smile and a nod before placing an explosive tag on the large door behind him. He tapped Kakashi and the shoulder before he and the rest of the team leapt up away from the door; Kakashi picking up the princess and Sasuke grabbing Asama.
The door was thrown open by the tag's explosion and a wall of kunai came forth from the smoke. Needles to say, anyone that would have been standing there would not be standing now. More and more kunai went sailing throw the smoke; only stopping when the smoke had cleared.
"I know your out there; ninja from the Land of Fire!" Doto shouted from within the building. "There is no possible way for you to defeat me here..." He started to go on a monolingual rant.
As he continued to rant and rave; Naruto placed a hand on Kakashi's shoulder to get the older ninja's attention. Hatake looked over at his underling and saw Naruto looking right into his eye. His body then rippled and he blended in with the surrounding area for a moment.
Kakashi nodded in understanding before going through hand signals to communicate a plan with everyone else. Sakura wrote them down so that the non-ninja would have a grasp on what was going to happen.
"...So just hand over the princess and I guarantee that the rest of you will be able to walk away without any harm." Doto ended with an obvious lie. As if to answer him; Princess Koyuki suddenly fell onto the ground right in front of the open door.
The sounds of the ninja quickly fleeing was audible enough for most everyone in the building to hear.
Doto could not help but give a big smile from his position on top of his weapon-of-war. The machine was similar to the devices in his train, but covered every possible angle while protecting those that stood directly on top. The only way to get near the operator, and anyone else, would be from directly above.
"Looks like they decided to be smart." He said with a chuckle. "Now." He held out his hand in the direction of the princess. "Please come with me and we can finally get your father's treasure."
Princess Koyuki looked back with a desperate expression etched on her face. With a heavy sigh of defeat, the young woman slowly made her way towards her old uncle. The man's twisted smile grew with every step the girl took.
The instant she approached the war machine, two of Doto's mean quickly grabbed her and snagged the knife she had hidden within her clothes.
"Oh, I'm hurt." Doto chuckled when he saw the weapon. The man was too excited about finally getting the treasure of the Land of Snow that there wasn't much else on his mind.
One of his men handed Doto the knife and he absent mindlessly started to fiddle with it. When Koyuki finally reached the machine, she glared up at her uncle and slowly took off a necklace she had been wearing.
Doto's eyes grew wide with glee as he recognized what was at the very end of the necklace. A crazed chuckled escaped his lips as he looked at the tiny pendent. A pair of Doto's men quickly snatched Koyuki up and tossed her on top of the machine next to her uncle.
He quickly wrapped a meaty hand around the necklace before ripping it violently off her neck. The tyrant was about to burst into a fit of laughter when the sound of ripping metal and machinery started to echo from within the hall. The machine started to make low groans and complaints against supporting it's own weight.
Doto quickly looked behind him at where the sound was originating to see that blond-haired brat from before ripping out gear, cogs, and other parts of the machine from a large hole that had suddenly shown up on the roof of said war machine.
"You?!" Doto shouted, causing Naruto to look up at the old man.
"Sorry." Naruto said in a humorous tone. "It looked busted and we thought we'd try to fix it." He whipped out an explosive note before tossing it inside the hole he made and quickly snatching up Princess Koyuki.
Doto made for the girl, but Naruto used his stretchy arm to quickly pull him and Koyuki out of range of the man's reach. Doto snarled at the fleeing lad before the sizzling of burning paper brought his attention to the fizzling explosive tag. His sour expression grew as he was forced to leap away from his machine as it violently exploded.
The kunai the machine held, as well as shards of metal, flew through the air and quickly tore through anyone unlucky enough to be in the way. As soon as the last bits of shrapnel embedded itself into a wall; Kakashi and his team leapt into the room to dispatch whoever was still left alive.
"Kill them already!" Doto shouted to his three personal guards; his eyes filled with an indescribable rage. All three of Naruto's squad mates quickly intercepted the rogue ninja and began to initiate combat while Naruto staid by Koyuki's side.
Out of the corner of his eye; Naruto noticed Doto running out of the main hall and through a small door. With his arm still wrapped around the princess; Naruto dashed after the tyrant.
The door lead to a long, poorly lit, downward staircase with the elegant walls of the palace being replaced with cold concrete. He let Koyukigo as he dashed down the steps. But quickly grasped her hand and practically dragged her down with him.
When the young ninja caught sight of the exit; he came to a sudden halt and quickly held Koyuki to prevent her from falling.
He held out his right hand; palm open and facing upward, and a small black blade forced it's way out from his skin. He looked directly into the princess's eyes before handing her the weapon.
"I-I can't." She said in a hushed whisper. "I just can't kill him."
"Remember," Naruto quickly spoke up. "This is not about you, this is about everyone in the Land of Snow. No matter what you feel, ending his life will be one of the greatest things you will ever do. If it helps, try not to think of it as murder, but instead freeing whatever good there is in his soul from his wicked body." Naruto was going to have to remember to thank Venom for giving him that little quote.
Princess Koyuki stared into Naruto's eyes and could feel the boy's confidence and determination radiate off of him like a brilliant star.
"You want to fuck Kakashi don't ya'?" He asked bluntly.
Koyuki looked blankly at Naruto as his words slowly registered in her brain. Her face slowly become one of shock and embarrassment and she quickly turned away from the boy.
"I'll tell him." Naruto stated bluntly. "I'll tell Kakashi about the millions of dirty things you want him to do to you." He lied.
"You can't!" The princess nearly shouted.
"Then get in there and drive that knife directly into that bastards rotten heart." He nearly demanded. Both he and the princess slowly made their way into the small room at the end of the hall. Inside was a large machine with a glowing green center orb surround by quickly rotating metal rings. In front was a small panel with several different dials and buttons. A single hole could be seen behind a glass case on the machine.
Doto had a crazed smile plastered on his face as he stared up at the device. "This!" He shouted to the two just walking in. "Is the great treasure of the Land of Snow."
He slammed his fist into the glass case; shattering it and exposing the obvious keyhole. He ignored his bleeding hand as he held Koyuki's necklace, as well as the key, high up.
"With it I will become the wealthiest man in the world! No nation will ever question my will! I will own the entire world!" He ranted with a wicked cackle.
"You've lost it." Princess Koyuki stated with a displeased expression.
Doto apparently did not like her words as his face contorted into a wicked scowl. "No!" He shouted as he turned to face the pair. "Your the one whose lost it! You've lost your father, your castle, your treasure and now your home!" He turned to face the machine again. "I will use the curse over this land with this treasure to make every country bow down to my will!"
"The Village Hidden in the Sand would probably love to see it snow." Naruto said in a comical tone. No one payed him any attention.
Doto held the necklace high once more before slamming the key into the keyhole. He turned it with enough force to break the key in half; leaving part of it stuck inside the machine.
The rings surrounding the green orb began to slowly spin, quickly picking up speed as the machine whirred to life. The green orb pulsed several times before a brilliant emerald beam launch straight up out of it and through the entire castle. After about a minute, the beam thinned and eventually vanished; but the machine continued to function.
Nothing happened for a while. For a long while.
"Wh-what's going on?" Doto stuttered in disbelief. "Where is my treasure!" He shouted while slamming his hands onto the computer.
Naruto was silent for a while; trying to detect any changes using all of his enhanced senses; even his alien abilities were being used. It took him a moment before realizing it. He smiled before gently pushing Koyuki closer to the machine.
When she stumbled forward and image of her father suddenly appeared in front of the green orb.
"My dearest Koyuki." The image spoke. "I leave this message in hopes that you may one day return to this castle and find out what your necklace really is."
The princess listened to her late father's words with rapt attention.
"Our land has been ravaged by this freezing curse for so long. All our people know is the icy sting of winter." The image looked back at the machine. "So I made this machine to help our people. To turn this barren frozen wasteland into a vibrant green oasis. No longer will we depend on trade just for basic needs. Our people will be able to feed themselves. Become independent of the other ruling states and become a power of it's own."
This image turned back in the direction of Koyuki. "And what kind of power it will become depending entirely on you; my dearest princess." It said with a soft smile. "And so. I leave the treasure of the Land of Snow to you. The treasure of Spring."
Doto looked completely devastated. His entire life he worked to obtain an amazing treasure. Only to find out it was completely useless to him. No; worse then useless. It had actually defeated him.
Without the curse, he was no longer able to able to control the people with the harsh snow and wind. Thinking quickly; he decided that to ensure his place as leader of the country, he would kill the princess.
He glanced over to see his two adversaries distracted by the talking image of his late brother and clenched his fist tightly before applying as much chakra into as he possibly could.
Without any warning the crazed man dove at the pair with said fist pulled back and prepared to completely vaporize his niece's head. It was as if time had slowed to a crawl as he saw the blond-haired Leave ninja pull Koyuki by the shoulder. Catching her by surprise and causing her to stumble.
This caused her to swing her other arm up. The same arm that held the knife. Said knife soon found itself embedded in Doto's neck. The man continued to sail through the air and landed in a heap. The sounds of him gurgling blood as he tried to empty his lungs of the life-giving fluid echoed through the room.
Koyuki put her hands to her ears to block out the horrid sound while Naruto simply watched as the man slowly died.
When the light finally faded from his eyes, Naruto gently grabbed Koyuki by the arm and led her out of the room and back into the main chamber. The young woman covered her eyes so as not to see the gore left by the machine's explosion and the ninjas' fighting.
All she could hear was the echo of her and Naruto's steps on hard wood. And that was it. It took her only a split second to notice that she no longer felt cold. In fact, the young princess felt warm. A warmth that did not naturally come to the Land of Snow.
Koyuki opened her eyes to see the bright sun shining down upon the snow covered ground. No wind. No ice. No curse.
She looked over to see Naruto in the middle of stripping away all of his clothes.
"What are you doing!?" Sakura shouted as she came out of the castle.
Naruto looked at her like as if she was an idiot. "We were cold." He said while taking the rest of his upper body wear off. "And now it is warm." He hooked his fingers around the rim of his pants.
"We are going to take full advantage of this warmth."
But before the lad could hike his pants down; he received a light tap on the head from Kakashi.
"I don't think here or now is the time or place for that, Naruto." He stated in his usual bored tone of voice. His eye looked over at Sakura to see the pinkette staring very hard at Naruto's almost exposed crotch. The jonin could have sworn he could see a small speck of blood leaving her nose.
"Fine." Naruto groaned before falling back and soaking in as much sun as he possibly could. "Ah. Warmth." He nearly moaned.
"So, what now?" Sakura asked.
"Well gang." Kakashi said with a hidden smile. "I think we can safely say that this mission was a success."
"Not just yet." Koyuki said with a grin. "You all still have to get me to the filming set." She walked behind Kakashi and put an arm around him. "You don't want me to get attacked by crazed fans do you?" She whimpered pathetically.
"You all can return home." The flustered jonin said quickly. "I'll handle the rest of the mission."
"Go get it Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto shouted from his prone position.
Sasuke looked away as he realized what was being implied. Sakura was still off in her own little world and barely registered what anyone had said. Sasuke poked her in the side and just got a distant giggle in return.
"Man. How annoying." Shikamaru complained. The young ninja was currently lazing about under his favorite tree and doing what he usually did. But the fact that the demon of the village was currently napping in the same tree was putting him off from actually relaxing.
"Is our darling causing you any trouble?" The demonic voice of the symbiote Ambush slithered into the boy's ear. Shikamaru did not voice his disdain and instead just gave a grunt of dissatisfaction.
Ambush looked up at the lazy form of her future lover's alien form before letting out a small sigh. She leapt up into the tree and watched his form soak in the sun. Her eyes could see past his monstrous flesh and into the boy that was laying within. Both were equally lazy.
Or so she thought. Within his mind, Naruto was having a troubling debate. He remembered Venom's words from long ago. THe difference between him and his offspring, Carnage. The difference in birth, in possession, and so much more.
But the difference that Naruto focused on, was the bond. Venom once told Naruto how his bonding was down to the cellular level, and that was it. His son's bonding was down to the very molecular level. So closely where they bonded that it and it's host considered themselves to be one true individual.
But because of that bond, the two or incredibly powerful. Much too powerful for Naruto to handle as is.
"Do you want to?" Venom asked his host as the two stood within Naruto's mind.
"I-I don't know." Naruto said as he stared at the floor. "I want to become stronger. I want to be able to protect the village; my dream and the people I care about."
"And you think bonding completely will help you with that." Venom responded in understanding.
"Yeah...but." He was hesitant to admit what he was thinking to the parasite.
"But you are afraid that you won't be the same person after the bonding. Your afraid you'll lose control and become like Carnage." Venom finished the boy's thoughts.
Naruto did not respond.
"We can not promise that you will not become the same as that creature. But what you do turn into is based entirely upon your own will and strength." Venom tried to reassure his host.
Naruto sat and thought for a good long time.
"Ok." He finally spoke up.
Venom gave the boy an inquisitive look.
"I'll do it." He looked up at Venom's massive form. "I'll bond completely with you."
"You do know that means we will be inseparable? If either of us is torn away, we both will die."
Naruto nodded.
"This also means that our transformations will be permanent additions to your body. Are you sure you want that now without other knowing we are one and the same?"
Naruto thought for a moment before once again looking up at the symbiote and giving a definitive nod.
"Very well."
Naruto's alien eyes snapped open and he took a moment to realize where he was. Seeing the uncomfortable form of Shikamaru below him answered that question easily. He looked and saw Ambush sitting next to him before quickly leaping from the tree and making himself nearly invisible.
He did not need anyone around when he and the symbiote were to start the bonding procedure. So, he moved as swiftly as possible through the village; searching for a very private location. He only came to a stop when a random training field came into view.
He looked around for any signs of other humans, or symbiotes before deciding that the clearing was an appropriate spot.
"You know this is going to hurt, right?"
"Most things do, one way or another." Naruto said in a sagely manner.
Naruto reverted to his normal human body and could feel Venom slowly peel away from him. For the first time in forever, Venom and Naruto were separating.
First came the feeling of complete and total loss. Naruto felt like he was missing something very important and desperately needed for it to return. He missed the feeling of safety and strength being bonded to Venom gave. And Naruto desperately wanted it back.
Second came the feeling of loneliness. Naruto no longer felt as if there was always someone with him. He felt empty, hallow; there was nothing but him and his thoughts. Another feeling Naruto could not bare for very much longer.
This was followed, finally, by the feeling of total helplessness. Naruto felt weak, physically, mentally, emotionally; any other possible way to feel tired nd worn, Naruto felt it.
The boy collapsed to his knees as he looked down at the shapeless mass that was the alien known as Venom. The mass slowly sloshed and twisted around until the dripping skeletal image of Venom's head formed on a series of thin tendrils.
They both looked at each other for a moment before Naruto gave a slight nod of his head and extended his right arm to the alien creature. Venom reached out towards the boy with several tendrils.
When they both touched; Naruto felt nothing, at first. Then his arm exploded in pain as Venom's tendrils dug deep into his very being. A pain Naruto had never thought possible to exist ripped through his young form as every molecule that composed him was torn apart then forcefully put back together.
Just like the first day they met, Venom slowly grew over the boy and eventually enveloped him. Only it took him much longer to do so. Several hours of constant agony took place in that training field.
When it was finally over, Naruto collapsed completely on the ground and stayed there panting. Everything felt like is used too. Venom was back, the feeling of weakness and loneliness where gone once again and everything was right with the world.
He could feel his twin tongues, his fangs, and his extra arms. Just to see if he could, Naruto tried to retract the arms and change his fangs into normal human teeth. But nothing happened. He was able to shrink down the size of the teeth, but that was about it.
He shakingly got up to a sitting position and tried to think of a way to hide everything. He was not yet ready for everyone to know his secret. Even thought he had slowed down on his consumption of human flesh almost to a complete halt and exchanged it for more chocolate. He was still a monster in the villager's eyes and was not sure how the few friends he had would react if they saw him in his new body.
Naruto tried to get to his feet, but fell back to the ground. He tried again only to fall back down. Being the kind of guy he is, Naruto continued over and over to stand; falling back to the ground each time.
"Need some help?" He heard a familiar voice ask; mirth laced within each word. Naruto turned his head and noticed Ambush slowly walking over to him from within then the forest.
Naruto looked at her for a moment before realizing that the symbiote's head was pointed slightly down. It took him a moment more to realize that his clothing had vanished when Venom had left him, and he had yet to return them after re-bonding.
"Hey!" Naruto shouted, covering his exposed front.
Ambush continued to stare for a moment before letting her reptilian tongue curl out from in between her fangs.
"Yes?" She responded in an innocent tone. "Is there anything we can do to help, our darling?"
"Some clothes would be nice." Naruto mumbled. "What did you see?"
"Enough to know that you are still our love; our Naruto." Ambush responded. The two stood there for a while before Naruto cleared his throat.
"Yes?" She responded innocently once again.
"Clothes?" Naruto asked a bit impatiently. The look Ambush was giving the boy was making him feel very uncomfortable.
"Why? We like you as you are right now." She licked her jaws. "We both want what we see." She approached Naruto like a predator would it's wounded prey.
Naruto took a scared step back. "Please?" He nearly begged.
Ambush's pincer-like claws opened and closed repeatedly in a desperate fashion. She took another step closer before giving a heavy sigh and hanging her head.
"Fine." She left quickly and returned not much later with Naruto's basic outfit. He was sure to purchase them a long time ago just in case he needed them for something. Good thing too it would seem.
He quickly got dressed while Ambush made low whining sounds. The boy gave a heavy sigh before giving a small hop and kissing the female symbiote on the cheek. "Thanks." He said looking away with a slight blush.
Ambush slowly raised a hand to the offended cheek and smiled softly as Naruto hurriedly rushed home while trying to find a way to hide his permanent features.
'See?" Hinata chastised her symbiote. 'Told you that your plan would not have worked. Look what we got instead of potentially scaring him away.'
Ambush did not respond to her host's words and instead focused on the warmth welling up into her stomach. That was the first real act of physical affection Naruto had given her that was less innocent then the usual hug.
Her tail gently curled around her as her face lite up.
"This is so embarrassing." Ambush swooned. "We are a highly evolved parasitic life form and we are gushing over a simple kiss on the cheek from a teenage brat." She held her face. "We blame you." She finally swore at her host.
'But you enjoy it.' Hinata could not hide her slight smirk at this supposedly super-powered being turning into a gushing school girl.
"What have you done to us?" Ambush lamented with absolutely no sign of any real remorse, anger or sadness in her voice. She was happy with her host's influences upon her.
Without saying anything else, the symbiote took off after the target for her affection; almost bouncing with joy with every step she took.
Naruto felt odd, strange, like as if there was something off about him that he just could not quiet put his finger on. Besides his appendages becoming permanent additions to his body. It was Hell to try and hide them as he made his way home.
The young boy decided to ignore the feeling; believing that if anything was truly wrong, Venom would fix it.
Upon arriving at his family's abode; Naruto took a deep breath. Maybe all the bad things he had heard and seen were just products of whatever trick he was still under. He had to find a way around it, to break that annoying little curse and regain full control over his mind and body.
He stepped through the front door and was secretly pleased to find nobody there waiting for him. From the total silence of the home, Naruto could safely assume that nobody was home.
Naruto quickly made his way to his bedroom and placed some symbiotic goop on the door to insure his privacy before stripping away the top of his outfit. He looked at the mirror that made up his closet door and watched as his extra arms moved about. He tried folding them like a pair of wings against his back. That did nothing to hide them from view; even if he were to wear his famous jacket. He tried to fold the arms across his back and that did not help any either.
The boy had to think of something. He was not ready for the village to find out what he really was. The mental images of his friends terrified faces was just too much for him to bare.
He finally settled on having the extra limps wrapping around his body and crossing his chest. With a few adjustments, Naruto was able to hide them pretty well without sacrificing any maneuverability in the process.
Naruto still could not do anything about his fangs and just gave up on trying to hide them. He would have to come up with a good lie about those at a later date.
"Still looking fantastic our darling." Ambush said with a giggle; surprising Naruto and alerting him to her presence on his windowsill.
"What are you doing?" He nearly shouted. He thought that she would have gone her own way after he left the training area; not follow him home.
"Is it wrong for us to worry about our lover?" Ambush asked in a much too innocent tone. She placed a claw underneath her chin and widened her eyes to give herself a pitiful look.
"We guess not." Naruto said with a bit of a blush on his cheeks. The boy had to turn away from the symbiote to hide it and hoped that she had not seen. He did not have much time to worry about that as he felt two familiar orbs press themselves against the back of his head and two long arms cross over his smaller form.
"We really care for you; our precious darling." Ambush whispered while pressing herself firmly against the much smaller boy. "Us and our host."
"We know." Naruto responded in an unrecognizable tone. He slowly raised a hand and grasped Ambush's. "We are trying to change. To make ourself better for you, Nightmare, Baby, Sister, this village and all others that depend on us." He stated. He looked up and saw Ambush's large eyes staring down at him.
"We bonded completely." His voice was almost a whisper. Ambush's eyes widened completely. A successful total bonding was rare. Most hosts or symbiotes were to fearful of either dying or losing themselves to the other to do it. The rest usually did.
Ambush pulled the boy tightly against her and wrapped him up in her arms and tail. "Are you alright?" She tried to hide the worry in her voice. Her host had nothing to do with how shaky it came out.
"We are still ourselves." Naruto said while looking at his hands. "But we are also each other. Our minds are together, but also apart." He looked back up at Ambush.
Said female alien almost let out a sigh of relief. She and her host were suddenly terrified that their beloved blond was no longer himself. The thought of him no longer existing was just too dark and painful a thought to even focus on. Her grip tightened.
"We are happy to still have you. Our cherished darling." Ambush whispered before falling backwards with Naruto onto the floor of the boy's bedroom.
Naruto was about to protest when the tip of Ambush's tail gently pressed itself against the boy's lips.
"Shh." She said gently. "Let us just enjoy each others company for now."
And so the pair laid there upon the floor in complete silence.
Yo. I got another story out. Read it. Review it. Please. I swear I have put more effort into the few chapters it has so far then anything else i have done in the one. SO READ IT.
