Joker was searching for his buddy, wondered where Kiri went. Since he came in the manor, he passed less and less time with his buddy and it pained him. After being reunited in the ship, he was now losing him in the most horrible he saw, left behind.

With everything going on, he knew that this wasn't his Kiri, it's the Dark Core. Even if I want to destroy it, I would go against Kiri's will, he closed his eyes, thinking back on his buddy, who the boy truly was, no matter what, I will be by his side.

He continued searching when he crossed path with Davide.

The boy gazed at him and grumbled, "It's you frozen freak."

How much Joker despised that boy, "What do you want Davide?"

"Nothing really. I have a few things important to do, which isn't the case with you."

"Where is my buddy? The Reaper," the frozen monster precise as he pointed his blade at the infuriating boy.

"I'm going to join him, but you can't," the boy replied before walking away.

Joker heard those words and grunted, infuriated by what he heard. Many scenarios passed in his mind and none of them were pretty. It was just fueling his fears and worries. He let out a sad and pitiful, "Kiri."

Chapter 129: Desperation

Kyoya looked at everyone. The Disasters were all present and were waiting for him to explain everything. He gazed at Tasuku, remembering that he had been mysteriously absent yesterday, but didn't press on it. After so much effort from him to join them, it would have been a terrible idea to doubt him and push him away from the group. He also looked at Davide, one of the most unstable member of his group and noticed Tasuku giving hostile glare at Davide. The boy wondered why the blue haired boy was doing that, but guessed that something happened and wasn't aware off, for now. I'll find out soon.

"As you know, we are now moving towards the final phase of the plan. As you've seen in the recent poll, The Social Democrate Party is now in second place, but still far from Tenchi party. The possible voters we obtained are from those who supported Hinako but moved to us because of the incompetence of the Buddy Police Force."

"This is troublesome. We must put a stop to Tenchi. The polls are saying that he is still gaining more voters," Tasuku grunted.

"For now. We have the tolls to take him down, but we cannot give it to the police right now. We must wait for the perfect time. Elf said that we shouldn't use it to attack Tenchi's reputation, because it will backfire by throwing those proof as false accusations and managed to prove it," Kyoya explained. "And with Seiichi at the top of the Buddypolice Force, and one important and respectable Policeman, he will be able to make sure that we can't accuse him of anything, as it would allow him to get rid of monsters from other worlds."

"This is not something we are going to let happen," The Reaper coldly said, "You must have a plan to stop him, right?"

Kyoya nodded, "Yes. There is an opportunity. We can get rid of Tenchi and only deal with Hinako during the elections. This will be the chance for us to won. It won't be possible as long as he's still here."

"What is this opportunity?" Shido asked.

The white-haired boy replied, "We are simply watching it for now Shido. For now, focus on helping those in needs in the name of our party."

They added more details until the meeting was over and Kyoya walked outside of the room, walking towards his own room. When he entered, the boy noticed the three-headed dragon watching the news. They gazed at Kyoya and asked, "Did you tell them our plan?"

The boy lightly smiled, "Yes. I gave them the detail about the final phase of the plan and how we will proceed to obtain the power."

They replied, "Then we are finally going to the end of the plan. We just need to win the elections and, thought Elf, am going to change Japan and made it a place for Darkness Dragon."

Kyoya nodded and asked, "After taking back Japan, it will be the rest of the world."

"We will act slowly and surely Kyoya. We do not have to act harsh or quickly to obtain the control of the Earth," the dark dragon chuckled, before getting serious once again, "If we truly want to control the Earth, without letting other Worlds intervened or humans to rebel, we must use the ways of the humans. We have to win the elections in each available country of this planet and slowly take command of the Earth, as Japan as the headlight of a new era."

The boy sat on a chair in front of his buddy and said, "And once the world is under your control, there won't be wars on Earth anymore. There won't be pointless massacred and destruction anymore."

"And no one would die for a pointless reason," the dark dragon said as the three pair of eyes gazed at him.

That hurt Kyoya directly in his heart when he heard those words.

"The two of us will obtain what we wished. The Earth will be the command of one individual, me. As we promised, we will end those pointless wars between mankind and end their divisions," They crossed their hands and added, "As for us, we will increase our food supplies with the best that this planet can offer, and my people won't live under the risk of starving anymore and with our full stomach, we will only raise our head with pride."

The boy nodded, "Yes," he voice was distant, still not gotten over the sentence that hurt his heart.

Azi Dahaka approached the boy and stood in front of him, "There is one thing we are curious Kyoya. What happened to your parents?"

"I thought you didn't care," the boy quickly replied.

"We thought too, but we hate seeing you in pain when we brought it up."

Kyoya stood up and walked towards a table, where there was a picture of him, when he was a younger kid with his parents. It was a time where he would innocently smile, until reality took it away. He sighed, "They died during a crisis in Japan. I don't really remember what happened, but my parents died back then. During a terrorist attack, the SDF force was fighting against the suspects and my parents were caught between them. That attack was targeting the USA president who visited Tokyo that day. That country always brings their problems to others and the others has to deal with the consequence of their actions," he grunted.

"It is still them who strongly controlled the world right?" Azi Dahaka asked.

"They act like it and bring more open conflict in the world. When you'll take the power, this will end," the boy concluded.

"And the life of innocents won't be spoiled," the darkness dragon concluded.

The boy asked, "Will it really be the case?"

"If we obtain the power legally, the other Worlds won't be able to do a thing about it. They won't have a reason. We wouldn't invade the Earth, your world would join us," the darkness dragon confidently answered, "There are rules between Worlds that must be respected and the world who'll break the rules will be isolated. There is little to worry about," they concluded.

"Good," Kyoya said as he stood up.

"Kyoya. We are going to need to have Gao on our side. He is extremely powerful, and it will be dangerous to have it against us," the three headed-dragon warned the boy.

"I know. We will find a way," he replied as he walked outside of the room.

Azi Dahaka, put their claw on the middle face, it is forbidden to kill Gao and his buddy, by the blood pack with Tenbu. Anyway, we are getting close to victory, a large grin was made on the three heads, "The first step of controlling this world is at our door. The first of the many."

Joker was waiting in his buddy's room. He was waiting for Kiri to come back and talk to him. After what Davide said, it was making the ice monster extremely nervous. Kiri was doing things on his own and was slowly left behind. The monster knew that his jokes were ignored now, he knew that he couldn't make the boy laugh anymore, I am his buddy… But I feel like I'm only, but a tool for him. Since he became The Reaper… I lost him. He doesn't really care for him, as long as I fight by his side, one horrible thought came in his mind, what would happen if I lose a fight, if he believes I'm too weak to be useful?, that question was agonising his heart.

He stood up and walked left and right. As that question repeated in his mind, the answer was starting to appear. If his buddy saw him as a tool, "Then I'm expendable," he realised. He shook his head, refusing to believe his own words, it cannot be true. The buddy I know is still there! He wouldn't do it! He wouldn't! no matter who strongly he thought, he wasn't appease by it.

The frozen monster slid on the wall and sat down. He felt terrified of losing Kiri, after waiting for so long, he thought in desperation, "He will replace me if I fail. He might even consider it now," darker thought came in his mind and wondered if he would be kill if it was the case. He wasn't really loyal to them, only to Kiri. Azi Dahaka knew it. His life was on the line and that was when a thought came, there is only one way to prevent this. There is only one way to prove to Kiri that he can't never replace me. We must do something that Kyoya wants and prove to Kiri that only the two of us together can do it.

He forced himself to get ready for what he was about to do, as the idea he had was something he considered shameful, I'm sorry for doing this my friends, but Kiri always come first. Always! Since- the door opened, and The Reaper entered, "Kiri-"

"I am The Reaper," the boy reminded him.

"You don't have to be so cold with me Kiri, although, cold is good for my health, right?" he teased his buddy. He gazed at the boy and searched for a hint of joy, but all he got was:

"I have no time for your humor Joker. It is unnecessary, and I order you to stop making them."

That answer pierced the heart of the monster who was mentally sobbing. It wasn't the first time he got such cold response, but the more he got it, the more painful it was, "I won't do it again."

The Reaper nodded.

Joker thought, tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the day I'll prove my worth for you Kiri. So, I will always be your buddy.
