Stella sat in front of her portable computer and checked if she had any messages. As she read them, she sighed. There was no news from anyone and it was getting worrisome. The time they had before the election was drawing closer and closer and if they couldn't stop Tenchi in time, it was over for everyone. Even if many people feared the creatures from other worlds, she knew that they were like them… kinda. Some where goods, others bad while others preferred to act behind the scenes. She saw that with humans too.

As a member of the Buddy Police Force, it was her mission to make sure that criminals are put behind the bars while protecting the civilians and monsters who did no wrong. Eventually, she noticed a new message and opened it. She read everything and wondered if it would be good enough. Hope came in her heart but searched for the source of the message. She couldn't find the identity or any clue of the sender. It was an anonymous message. However, if the message was true, they could finally do something if Commander I found things that goes with this. It was too good to be true, but register it and sent it to Commander I, asking if those information's were good or not to finally act. She warned him that the source was unknown and might possibly be forged evidence.

She waited for a while and eventually, she got one reply: Call Takihara when I decided where we meet. Things are similar with what I've found.

She replied that she will do that. Hope was back and the victory over those criminals might be closer than expected, "Finally," she thought back to Zanya and his brother who came before, "Hang in there. We will soon release Tsukikage from his unfair imprisonment. You three will be together very soon."

Chapter 134: The Moment Justice Waited

Commander I walked in the Police station, in search of the man he had to talk right now. There was one person he needed to show everything Stella found. He knew that this Police man was trustworthy to pass those proof to a prosecutor, so they could finally act. Compared to the Buddy Police Force station, he didn't have to hide and walked without fear of being found out. It wasn't long before he found the man he was searching. He knew he could trust him, as that man was the father of Zanya and Akatsuki. Not only that but knew that he was someone who held justice in his heart and wouldn't let petty things corrupt him and pulled him away from his conviction.

Commissioner Kisaragi was in his office, reading the many reports he received from the other Policemen and Policewomen of the city. He gazed at Commander I and lightly smiled, "Commander I. I was expecting you. Close the door and have a seat."

The man did as tell and sat on the seat, "I am no longer the commander of the Buddy Police Force you know."

"But you are far superior than Seichi," he replied as he gazed at the picture of his family, "It's a little difficult at home right now. My sons are worried for Tsukikage," Commander I wondered why he brought this up. He didn't even state or brought the subject, "That nanomachine ninja saved my son long ago and I am in great debt," he gazed at the other man, "And I feel like this might be the moment to pay back for the selfless act he did."

"How do you know?" he asked.

Kisaragi lightly smiled, "Stella called me not long ago and warned me that you would come. So, I was expecting you. She also sent me everything she got, and I started to check it with what I've found."

"You were also searching against them?" Commander I asked.

The man nodded, "Yes. I believe my children more than Seichi's words. What's going on with Tsukikage is close to tragedy. Let's come back to the subject," he adjusted his monocle, "Stella called me because, as you remember, she was working under me until she decided to move to the Buddy Police Force. A good move if I can say so myself," he smiled.

"That's right. She was your right hand before them came," Commander I remembered.

Zanya's father nodded, "Yes. That's why she is still often in contact with me and why I searched on my own side. So, a part of the work is already done on my part."

"As for the intel Stella received. Can you tell me if it can be legit or not?"

"Alas, the intel without sources cannot be consider legit on a trial or to arrest them," Kisaragi grinned, "But we don't have to completely depend on it. All of this confirms many information's that I've and you've legally obtained in the Buddy Police Force headquarter."

"And Stella sent you everything I've found," he commented with relief.

"She often goes beyond what she was asked. That's why I am glad she chose to follow you," he adjusted his monocle once again, "With everything we have, I have many good news to tell you."

"Which are?"

"First. You are a member of the police force, but… forgot to take your badge," he gave the old one to Commander I, letting the man confused, "I need you when we arrest them."

He knew what the man meant and grabbed it, "Understood Commissioner."

"We have everything needed to arrest them, but knowing Seichi and Tenchi, they might plan an escape, so the usual way won't be possible, as the top chain might be with Tenchi side," Kisaragi commented.

"What's the other way?"

"The law made in 2025 that modified some of the system. I won't give the detail, but the short version is that I can bypass the top chain of command when there are risks of corruption at the top. So, I'll just ask the Prime Minister directly to arrest them. I'm sure he wants to bring Tenchi's down too and help Hinako wins the elections."

"I remember that law," he chuckled, "It was made by Tenchi party ironically."

"By good man of his party," Kisaragi corrected.

"We just need to wait for the president authorisation?" Commander I asked.

The man nodded, "Yes, we will prepare ourselves to act. We will have to be quick."

The other man smiled, "I think we will have an opportunity in a few days. Shido's birthday is about to come and there's going to be a party, with many of the members of the Buddy Police Force presents."

"Why are they going to be there? Stella didn't tell me about this."

"I don't really know why," Commander I replied. He thought about it, "There might be a few things going on and they had to watch over Shido. He could be victim of a threat, since his father is against outsiders from other worlds. Or it can be something Tenchi planned. If he is ready to kill some of his supporter to succeed, he might be ready to make even more sacrifice."

"That is, if it is the case. We cannot be sure until we know everything that is currently going on. We lack intel, but not when it comes to our ability to arrest them," the man stood up and said, "I am going to prepare everything. You should talk to Stella and Takihara about the plan."

"Agreed. It is time to put an end to this and show everyone that we can succeed. We cannot let Senchi win," the man left the room, leaving the father of two sons behind.

Kisaragi watched the pictures once again and whispered, "It's almost over. You are going to be reunited soon," before picking the phone and calling the Prime Minister.

Commander I called Stella and Takihara and asked them to join him to a secret spot he found.

The spot was an abandoned house that was left to fall apart. The inside was covered with spider webs. The walls were covered with cracks just like the ceiling. It was the worst place to live or stay, but one place no one would expect a meeting, except for criminals or homeless who wanted to use it. It was also in a more isolate part of the city.

They couldn't take the risk to be found out by anyone, not when they were so close to finally be able to act and arrest the criminals. He wanted for a while, thinking about everything that went on.

He learned, from Stella who heard it from the parents of Gao, that Tasuku left the Buddypolice Force and joined Azi Dahaka and Kyoya in their plot to take control of Japan via the legal system, not the typical villains we usually have. Taking over the world legally is a strange plan, but a dragon surely lives long enough to obtain result after many years, he concluded. He thought back to Tasuku, the boy he rescued long ago. He worryingly sighed, "I hope you are alright," and that you come back to your sense. You are a good person and I know it.

He heard the door opening and saw Stella, Takihara and Card Burn entering in the building. They all greeted.

"You wanted us to meet here Commander I," Card Burn said.

The man nodded, "I called you here, because I contacted Kisagari and explained everything you've obtained Stella."

"I'm glad it was useful, even if it was limited," she replied.

"Kisagari explained that he already did his part and was searching for proof against them. He was clearly suspecting something going on too," Commander I said.

Takihara asked, "But what can we do? I know that we can arrest them, but wouldn't they notice it?"

"Kisagari is making sure that it won't be the case. That's why I've called you here," the man concluded.

"This place isn't safe for anyone staying in here. I would advice to go elsewhere," the mini robot monster from Hero World commented.

"We have to use it, since no one will expect a meeting here. Kisagari decided to act during Shido birthday. Since Senchi will be at the party. I decided that we shall split into two groups to arrest everyone," Commander I started.

"Let me be the one who arrest Senchi. I won't let it tarnish the Buddy Police Force any longer," Takihara said with determination.

"That's what I planned. Since Kisaragi made me back to the Police Force," he showed the badge, "I'll make sure that we arrest Senchi and any associates. Meanwhile, I believe that Kisagari will take care of Tenchi himself and arrest him for his crimes."

"I believe he deserves treason for everything he did," Stella commented.

"All will come in due time, for now, I ask of you to endure it just a while longer. When the day come, you must be close by during his birthday, so you can be right where you are needed to arrest Senchi and Sueroku," he finished giving the instructions.

Stella chuckled, "I have been asked to go there, but I wanted to refuse, knowing this, I will go."

"I guess I'll agree too when they asked. I have to be on the scene and show them what real justice is," the young man said.

His buddy nodded, "It is the time for heroes to act. Soon, the villains shall fall, and we shall rise once more."

"I'll give you more detail when we have the authorisation. For now, you must be there while I planned the arrest from outside," the man concluded.

"Yes sir!" the trio replied.

They talked a little more before everyone split, ready to begin the mission when the right time shall come.
