-Two days later-
"What'd you grade did you get on the test, Maka?" Soul asked cutting some carrots
"An A like I always do." Maka said with a small smile
"That's cool." Soul slid the chopped up carrots as the front door opened
"Hey" Liz said sitting next to Maka and put her arm around the meister's shoulders
"What?" Maka asked not bothering to remove Liz's arm.
Liz handed Maka an origami rose "A rose for my favorite little bookworm." she said with a small blush on her face
Maka examined the rose and undid the rose when she noticed it was the test and rolled her eyes when she saw the 'at least it's not an F' written besides the D-.
She looked back at Liz with an unamused face "You're an idiot." she deadpanned
Liz gave Maka a small kiss on the cheek "That you love so dearly." she added on to Maka's sentence.
Maka blushed and looked straight ahead "Yes you're an idiot that I love." she said leaning into Liz with her arms crossed...
