Prepare for a roller coaster of emotions! Yaaaay!
Ha! Beat you, Mariah! I posted before you could remind me! Hahahahaha *is probably gonna be only one time*

"NINJAAAS!" The guys all yelled while fleeing the red ninjas that chased them, Kara and Dragan right behind them.

They skidded to a halt when they realized they were surrounded once more, bringing out their weapons.

"Where are we?" Leo asked standing back to back with his brothers and friends.

"Now where are we but when are we!" Donnie replied his eyes going from one ninja to the other.

"We seem to be in modern times but I thought you guys were the only ninjas around." Kara said staring at the ninjas in front of her.

One jumped out and threw a chain at Leo's sword, grabbing it, and ensued the battle; the other ninjas taking action.

Kara and Dragan fought back to back but Kara was grabbed and pulled away to fight on her own. She narrowed her eyes before closing them, Two came at her sides at once and raised their weapons to strike. Metal collided against another as Kara brought out her blades and blocked both their weapons.

Both ninjas seemed surprised as they struggled to overpower her. A large grin crossed her face as she pushed her arms up, throwing their weapons out of their hands and into the air, and slammed her elbows into their sides. As they fell over she blinked when she suddenly sensed danger and lifted her head up to see their weapons falling towards. Taking a step back she waited for the right moment before holding her hands out and grabbing the weapons by their handles. Her eye sparkled in amazement at what she just did and turned to see if anyone saw her but her face fell when everyone was too busy fighting. She gave a pout and dropped the weapons before running to aid the others.

Dragan was somewhat faring on her own. Despite being able to block and dodge their attacks; their movements were too quick for her to retaliate and fight back, and this was beginning to make her mad. "Grrr...these ninjas are beginnin' tae get on ma nerves.." She grumbled under her breath while rolling out of the way of another attack. Despite the usefulness of the armor, it was just weighing her down with having to face such a swift, light weight opponent.

"They're not just any ninja! They're Hamato clan! Splinter's clan!" Leo yelled out getting everyone's attention.

"Yoshi's clan?..." Kara thought, glancing towards the ninjas.

"But the Hamato clan doesn't exist anymore, right?" Raph asked before getting kicked towards the others.

Kara and Dragan ran to their sides to see if Raph was ok while the ninja's spoke to themselves in their native tongue. Dragan helped Raph to his feet while the ninjas advanced on them, all of them ready for the difficult battle that was to come til an all too familiar voice spoke from behind the Hamato clan.

"What is going on here?" A tall, six foot, black haired man walked towards them and stopped in shock. "Yokai?!"

"Shredder?" Leo questioned in confusion.

Kara narrowed her eye and clenched her fists. "Shredder.." The hate she felt for him returning with wanted vengeance.

"This cannot be.." Shredder walked up to them.

Kara moved in front of them protectively and stood in her fighting stance. "Stay back!" She warned in anger just as Mikey was coming to. Shredder and Kara stared into each others eyes til Mikey brought her close and used a smoke bomb for them to escape in.

"Saki-san, what were they?" One of the ninja had asked.

"I do not know but I will find out."

"They had two girls with them and they were fighting with them. Is that possible?"

"The way she looked at me..was not normal. They could be under control. Have a small group search for them and see if we cannot free them from their grasp." Saki commanded.

They all bowed, a small handful running off into the woods to search for them.

After discarding their costumes, they guys fled through the trees Leo carrying Dragan on his back and Mikey carrying Kara.

"Whew, close call dudes. Awesome save by Mikey, thank you very much."

"We could of taken them.." Kara grumbled.

"Was that really the Shredder? He looked so young an...not so evil." Dragan glanced back having a hard time comparing the two.

Donnie landed first and scoped out the area. "Oroku Saki was part of the Hamato clan before he became the Shredder."

"So we're atleast sixteen years into the past. But why here? Why now?" Leo glanced over at Donnie as he landed beside him.

"Who knows! Twenty bucks says it's all Renet's fault. She doesn't know the first thing about time travel!"

"Calm doon, Raph. This was probably a mistake. Ye saw what happened; a time storm came oot o' nowhere. We will just hae tae stay in hidin' til she finds us..an hopefully soon. It's beginnin' tae get hot under the armor."

"Guess the one down side to being a knight?" Kara grinned at Dragan making her groan.

"Like ye would nae believe. An this is real armor too, not the ones ye can find at a costume shop so it's just as heavy too. It's been awhile since I've worn real armor."

"Yo, guys, check it!" Mikey called to them. As they gathered around him they see a small building. "It's Splinter's old Dojo, right?"

"It has his symbol in the front." Kara noticed.

"Come on, guys, maybe Splinter's in there." Leo said as he lead them towards the Dojo.

They snuck towards the doors and laid low as they listened in and watched as Shredder spoke to the master of the Dojo, presumably, his father. A laugh was heard as an equally tall man came into view waving a metal fan. "Yokai? Your imagination has run wild, Saki."

The guys gasped seeing their father, Master Splinter, human and jumped out of view to process this new information. "Woooah, human Splinter.." Leo said in awe.

"Master Yoshi.." Kara whispered softly, clenching her hand to her fist as old memories felt new. She felt tears in her eyes but had a small smile on her face.

"He looks so weird without fur." Mikey commented which made Raph cover his mouth and pull him away before they were caught.

Hearing his voice, she couldn't take it anymore. She got up and walked away, hugging herself.

Dragan watched Kara leave and soon followed after her. Despite knowing Splinter she wasn't that close to him as the others were. "Kara. Kara, ye ok? What's wrong?" She caught up and placed her hand on her shoulder to see her crying.

"It'll be four years from now.." She whispered softly with her head down. "Four years til my parents introduce me to their friend Hamato Yoshi..and my self-defense teacher. It'll be another two years when he suddenly disappears out of my life...and becomes Splinter."

"Wait, so ye knew him before he turned into a mutant?...Small world."

Kara chuckled as she wiped away her tears. "You'd be surprised how many friends you can make when you travel."

"Ay." Dragan smiled softly but blinked when the guys came rushing towards them.

"Time to go." Leo said as he pulled Dragan along, Kara right behind them.

"Are you sure you didn't want to stay behind with the others? You stand out just as much as they do." Kara chuckled glancing at her.

"I think I'll be fine. Thay probably think it's aw fake, anywyes." Dragan shrugged her shoulder as they made their way to the nearest grocery store. "Besides, wi how much the guys eat, specially Mikey, you're gonna need aw the help ye can get."

"Hmm...true." Kara muttered as she stared up at the sky. "Do you wonder how long we're going to be here?"

"It worries me, tae be honest. Renet should o' gotten us back home by now. Unless...ye think we're here for a reason?" Dragan glanced down at her curiously.

All Kara could do was shrug as they walked into the store. "Who knows..let's just worry about feeding the others before Mikey does something stupid." Kara gave her a grin.

"Ay." Dragan smiles as she grabs a basket.

After a couple minutes of finding foods that looked edible, since none of them have ever traveled to Japan to know what's good and what isn't, they made their way to the check out lane.

"Ye sure ye got this covered? It's...a bit much." Dragan stared down at their items as Kara put them on the conveyor belt.

"Fear not, my dear friend, for nothing is impossible with my handy dandy...credit card!" She held it up between her index and middle finger having it block out one of the ceiling lights to make it look like the light was shining around it.

Dragan rolled her eyes as she went to swipe the card once the cashier had finished totaling everything together. Though, it wasn't til she heard the error sound that a sudden thought hit her. "Kara...uh...we're sixteen years in the past, right?" Dragan asked Kara watching her continue trying to swipe her card.

"Yeah...why?" Even now, the cashier was beginning to get confused as well as annoyed.

"Well..." She leaned in, whispering in her ear. "We're only babies in this time so...technically ye an I don't exist..."

Kara froze from holding her card out to the cashier, her eyes wide in realization and she immediately snatched her card away before the cashier could take it and shoved it back in her wallet. "Crap, why didn't you say anything sooner?!" Kara whispered harshly to Dragan as she began rummaging through her wallet. "Crap! I don't have any yen or whatever Japanese money is called!"

Dragan followed her lead but remembered she was wearing armor and a body suit underneath and hung her head, sighing in defeat. "We're gonna starve, aren't we?"

Suddenly a man came up behind them and held out some money to the cashier. "Kore wa karera no junjo no tame no monodesu. Gomeiwaku okake shite mōshiwakearimasen." (This is for their order. Sorry about the trouble.)

Kara froze, immediately recognizing the voice, and slowly turned around to see none other than her dad, who had a wide grin on his face. "Us tourist have to stick together, right?"

Kara gave a slow nod thankful that ninety percent of her face was covered up. She cleared her throat going to thank him but luckily, Dragan intervened.

"Thank ye sir! We were in a bit o' a pickle thare." She rubbed the back of her head embarrassed. "I am sorry we don't hae anything tae pay ye back wi..."

"Oh, it's no trouble at all." Kevin's grin widened til he heard a voice call from behind him. Turning, Kara peeking around him to see who it was, both saw Rachael walking over to them a five year old Sara beside her hand in hand.

"Kevin! We're going to be late having dinner with your friend. I can't wait to see his little girl!" Rachael smiled excitedly but blinked seeing them two.

"Sorry, love, was just helping these young kids out." Kevin turned to his wife before looking down at his watch. "We still have about ten minutes."

Kara stared up at them as they conversed but felt like someone was watching them and turned to see little Sara wearing a denim lace tutu dress with black and white striped spandex and little black boots staring at her, her eyes uncovered and hair pulled back in a ribbon. Kara suddenly grew nervous wondering if she knew who she was.

"Well, it was nice meeting you two." Kevin smiled, waving his hand as the three left. Sara turned her head to look back at her one more time and gave her a smile before turning her attention back to her parents.

Dragan was surprised to see that despite the backwards in time, they didn't look that much older in the present than they did now. She blinked when Kara was hurriedly gathering everything up. "Woah, woah, where's the fire? They're gone now." She grabbed what she left and followed after a hurrying Kara til they were back in the woods.

Kara dropped the things on the ground, panting heavily as her mind processed what she just saw. "Why are they here? Of all times why now?"

"Calm doon, Kara. Let's just head back tae the guys an eat. Nae need tae give yourself a headache, now." She gently patted Kara's back and helped her with what they got, bringing it back to the guys.

"Ugggh, so hungry!" They heard Mikey shout.

"Yeah, yeah, we're coming.." Kara walked up to them with bags in hand and dropped them down in front of the guys as they began to dig through to see what was brought.

Kara walked over towards Donnie rummaging through a bag she packed just for them and tossed him two riceballs and a can of juice, which he caught with ease. She sat underneath the tree he was in and pulled out another can, setting the bag at her side, but didn't open it.

"You're not going to eat?" He asked curiously, opening the package.

"Not hungry..you're not going to believe this but...I saw my parents and Sara as a little kid at the store..."

"No way! I bet little Sara was adorable!" Mikey smiled with a mouthful of food.

"Well, you did say that your father and Splinter were friends. It's not impossible for them not to be visiting." Donnie jumped down and sat beside her and held out a riceball to her. "Come on, you should eat something.."

Kara sighed softly but went to grab it from him til she froze when Raph was suddenly shouting at Mikey.

"You ate the last sweet roll!"

"Nu-uh! You have no proof!" Mikey shouted back mid chew.

Raph growled in anger just before tackling his brother down as they began to wrestle, rolling around on the ground.

Dragan and Leo watched them, having stopped mid-way from enjoying their meal.

"Looks like we get dinner and a show." Leo said with a grin making Dragan laugh but it wasn't til they heard the sound of crying that they looked up and saw a woman with a crying baby in her arms.

Kara stood up, grabbing the bag and ran next to Dragan, pulling her deeper into the forest to hide. "We can't be seen.." Dragan nodded and glanced behind them at the guys, gasping when she saw Oroku Saki come to 'save' the woman. Kara stopped so they were far enough from the danger but close enough in case the guys needed help.

Kara looked up seeing them fleeing and pointed to Dragan where they were. Dragan nodded and followed after the guys. Kara went to take a step forward but stopped when Saki began to speak.

"Are you hurt, Shen?"

"Shen? Tang Shen? As in Yoshi's Shen? Then that in her arms is..."

"Yes thanks to you." Tang Shen stood up from protecting Miwa from the Yokai and looked down at her to calm her down.

"I would never let anything hurt you." Saki said softly, running his hand down the side of Miwa's head gently. "I...overheard your conversation with Yoshi. It is futile, you know. He will never leave the clan."

"Perhaps..you speak the truth."

"No! No! He's lying, girl! Don't listen to him!" Kara grabbed the sides of the tree wanting so badly to tell her that Yoshi isn't a bad person but the effects it may have on the future..she doesn't even know but she can't reveal herself just yet.

"Shen..take me back."

"...NU-UH!" Kara's eyes widened, squeezing the sides of the tree feeling like she was watching another teenage drama on TV.

"I will help take care of Miwa. We can go to New York together. The three of us...I am a different man than the one you once knew." Saki moved his hand under her chin, lifting it up so she'd look at him. "Believe me." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and watched as she left.

Kara went to move but stopped when she saw movement close to her and blinked seeing her father looking around, seeming to be lost. He blinked when he saw a person in view and walked closer, a look of relief on his face recognizing the person.

"Ah, Saki. I didn't expect you to be here. Have you seen Shen or Yoshi around? We were suppose to have dinner and no one was at home."

"I was just speaking to her. Come, we should be able to catch up to her." Saki placed his hand on his shoulder and lead him in the direction where Tang Shen had left.

"Dad...you knew Shredder too?...I suppose it makes sense since they're brothers...but come on, dad! You had to have gotten a weird vibe from him! Gah!" She yelled out in frustrating, kicking the tree to calm her down not realizing the guys had snuck back through the treetops and have been watching the scene the whole time.

Dragan and the guys dropped down around her.

"Ye saw it too, huh?"

All Kara could do was nod.

"Young Oroku Saki is kinda a good guy, right?" Mikey looked to Raph curiously.

"Are you crazy? He's a total creep!"

"Raph's right..it's clear he's trying to get between Yoshi and Shen's love." Kara looked over where they last were and clenched her fists.

"So it's a love triangle? Two brothers after the same girl?" Dragan made a motion of a triangle from the bottom, connecting to the top.

"Yeah.." Kara sighed.

"Maybe we should take Shredder down." Leo said out loud.

"If we interfere with history Splinter will never move to New York and buy four baby turtles. And then, whose going to stop the Kraang invasion and save all of New York, huh?" Donnie turned to Leo in frustration at how fragile the situation was.

"Well we already interfered with history. Shredder just saved Tang Shen from four monsters: Us!" Leo looked down at himself as if disgusted.

"Wait a second.." Donnie pulled out his T-phone and opened a picture of all of them, including Casey and April smiling at the camera minus Leo and Raph. "Casey's picture is fading away. Like we never knew him. Time is already being altered."

Kara and Dragan looked at each other nervously.

"Then that means..."

"Soon we may disappear as well. Never haeing met ye guys.."

"It's just like that movie." Mikey grabbed his face in a panic. "We're doomed, dudes! Doooooo-"

"CALM DOWN, MAN!" Raph screamed at him making him shut up. "We just gotta make sure Tang Shen doesn't like Oroku Saki."

"We have to convince her that he's the jerk we all know and hate so history stays on course."

"It doesn't sound like it'll be a simple task, Leo...especially if Oroku Saki is around.."

"We'll just hae tae get her when he isn't then. Shouldn't be too hard."

"We won't do much good now. Let's find a place to sleep then we'll come up with a plan in the morning." Leo said as they went to make camp somewhere more secluded.

Days later they had managed to figure out Tang Shen's schedule and when she was by herself, usually in the mornings when Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi had training.

Kara and Dragan were down below on the ground waiting patiently for Shen to arrive on her daily walks with Miwa while the guys stayed hidden in the trees above.

Spotting her walking towards them Kara closed her eyes while taking in a deep breath before nodding towards Dragan and moving out of their hiding spot to see Shen.

"Tang Shen?" Kara asked first.

Shen was surprised to see someone else out here other than herself and her daughter. "Yes..how do you know my name?" She asked somewhat nervous but tried to stay calm.

"I'm a friend of Hamato Yoshi and Kevin Sharper. This is my friend, Dragan Macintosh." Kara gestured her hand over to Dragan who gave a smile and a formal bow.

"Hello."

Tang Shen seemed to relax abit and smiled towards them. "We had dinner with them a few days ago."

"So I've heard." Kara chuckled while rubbing the back of her head. "Listen, my friends and I have come baring grave news and I wish for you to speak with them. But you must promise not to scream or run away. They mean you no harm."

"Will ye please listen tae us?" Dragan practically begged along side Kara.

Tang Shen looked at them for a moment before nodding. "I will listen."

Kara gave a soft nod to her before lifting her head up to the trees. "She's ready, guys. I hope this works.."

All the guys landed around Kara and Dragan, surprising Shen who held Miwa protectively close to her and began backing away.

"Hold on!" Leo called softly to her not wanting to scare her more than she probably already is.

"We come in peace!" Donnie smiled hoping she wouldn't freak out.

Mikey moved behind her and began doing a little dance while humming their theme song that he made up and did a flip ending with him on one knee while doing jazz hands. "Tah-daaaah."

Tang Shen stared at him nervously but blinked when Miwa began to giggle while trying to mimic one of his moves. "Woah.."

"It's ok, Tang Shen, we promise we won't hurt you." Mikey said softly with a smile on his face.

Kara and Dragan moved closer hoping she'd listen.

"Are you aliens or Yokai?" Shen asked curiously.

Kara and Dragan glanced at each other before looking to Donnie. "We're um..friendly Yokai, Shen. We need to talk to you."

At Shen's place Kara and Dragan stayed in the livingroom since her home wasn't that big while the guys and Shen were in the kitchen to speak with her. Kara looked around and sighed softly noticing her home seemed a little run down. "I wonder if they ate here in this very spot.." Kara closed her eyes wondering how they were doing back at home but opened them when she heard Mikey talking about pizza.

Dragan shook her head and leaned back listening to Shen's story about moving from her hometown to here when she noticed Leo holding little Miwa or should she say Karai and giggled when she began pulling on the ends of his mask.

"I heard Yokai are always hungry. That is why I made a meal all Kappa's love."

"Kappa? What's a Kappa?" Leo asked as Miwa continued to pull on his mask.

"Turtle Yokai. And your favorite food is cucumber. Heh, atleast that's what they legends say." Shen set a plate of cucumber down in front of them.

Kara was able to smell the vegetable and buried her nose in the fabric of her shirt. "Yuck. I hate cucumber.." She groaned softly feeling like she was going to hurl just at the smell of it.

"Cucumber? Little known fact: our favorite food is pizza. Thick crust, thin crust, no crust. Hook a turtle up!"

"That's just ye, Mikey." Dragan laughed softly.

"My grandmother told me the story of a Kappa that came out of the river as a young girl was fetching water. A Kappa terrified her but the young girl always carried cucumbers with her to ward off Yokai. The Kappa was so thankful it told her of a great hurricane that would devastate her village. It saved her people." Tang Shen told them.

"That's right! And we want to save you, Tang Shen." Raph hopped down off the counter to explain.

"Which is why we uh Kappa have come to talk. We also bring you uh..dire news." Donnie cut in.

"You can't leave Hamato Yoshi. He's a good man. Oroku Saki is evil." Leo said staring down at the floor.

"No, Saki is a good man." Tang Shen said to them.

"If you choose Oroku Saki the whole world could be at risk. Take it from us, the Kappa brothers." Donnie tried to explain without giving anything away.

"Hamato Yoshi is too dedicated to ninjitsu to raise a family."

"That's not true. Splinter loves little Miwa. She's so cute." Mikey smiled while shoving cucumber bits in his mouth.

"I do not know who I will choose. I must do what is right for my daughter." Tang Shen seemed so uncertain, filled with doubt at the decision she had to make.

"Follow your heart, Shen. You know who the better man is." Raph said to her.

She stared at him for a moment but gave him a sad smile. "Please, let me get you more cucumbers." She turned away from them, beginning to chop some more up.

"Uh..Leo." Donnie brought out his T-Phone and showed him their picture, April now faded away.

Dragan let out a sigh and shoved the guys out of the kitchen. "Girl talk now, go wait in the other room."

Kara chuckled as Dragan shoved everyone out of the kitchen and leaned against the counter watching her cut the cucumber. "This is a crazy situation, isn't it?" Shen said nothing, continuing the chop the vegetable. "You know..Hamato Yoshi seems like a pretty cool guy. He use to tell me stories of when he was a kid and how much trouble he'd get into. He was a real prankster." Kara laughed softly staring down at her feet. "Then one day, he told me his eyes fell on the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and he said, "I must get her to notice me." So he began to act out but it seemed nothing that he did grabbed her attention..til one day..he noticed she was sitting by herself..all alone..and she looked so sad so he sat down and just began to talk to her."

By this time Shen had stopped chopping and was listening to her story as well as everyone else.

"He had told the girl, "A woman with such beauty as yours should not shed tears of sadness but those of joy." and it was after that day he began to notice as they talked, laughed, and shared that he realized he didn't need to show off he just needed to be himself. As they grew closer he realized...he was falling in love." Kara stared down at her hands remembering the story as clear as day thinking back then that it was just one of his tall tales from Japan but now she knew..it was all about him and Tang Shen.

She looked up noticing Tang Shen, Donnie and Leo staring at her in awe, Dragan, Mikey, and Raph all had tears in their eyes though Raph tried to play it off.

Tang Shen walked up to her and wrapped her arms around her in a hug. "Thank you." Kara smiled and closed her eyes, bringing her arms up and around her as well. "I know you will do what is right, Shen."

Hearing the home phone ring she let go of Kara to answer it.

Dragan practically tackled Kara in for a hug, whispering. "Was aw that true? Is that how thay met?"

Kara laughed softly and nodded. "Mhmm. He told me once when I was young. I'm surprised I even remember it. In fact...I remember another story..of how two brothers, who weren't really brothers, fought to the...oh no..." She snapped her head towards the guys.

"What? What is it?" Donnie asked.

"Oroku Saki..we gotta go find him." Kara bolted right out the door.

Dragan stared at the guys before following after her, calling her name.

"Um, thank you for the cucumbers, Shen." Leo smiled nervously gently laying Miwa down on a blanket and ran after Dragan, his brothers right behind him.

"Kara! Kara! Wait, what's wrong!" Mikey yelled.

Kara had stopped in a clearing panting softly and turned to them. "I-I remember another story Yoshi told me. He told of two rival clans at war, the Hamato Clan victorious when the leader spotted a small child, a young boy. So he took him in and raised him as his own along side his other son."

"Then that means.." Donnie said in realization.

"Oroku Saki.." Leo finished looking over at his brothers.

"We have to watch go look for him in case he finds out soon."

"We'll go and find him. You and Dragan stay behind and take care of Shen." Raph said.

Kara nodded as they departed and sighed, having a terrible feeling in her gut.

"Ye feel it too? Something bad is going tae happen soon..." Dragan said softly.

That night Tang Shen went to speak with Hamato Yoshi privately, telling them she had made her decision and left. Waiting a few minutes, the girls followed behind silently through the forest, Splinter's training paying off very well.

They stayed hidden, making sure they showed no sign they were there but wished they could move closer to listen in.

"Man, I wish I knew what they were saying.." Kara sighed leaning against a tree.

"I could sneak closer an-"

"No. I want to but we shouldn't eavesdrop on their conversation.." Kara glanced over and saw Yoshi holding Shen and Miwa and smiled softly. "This is a special moment."

"Or so ye think.." Dragan muttered with distaste as Saki entered the scene. "Remember, Kara, we must not interfere...nae matter what happens.."

Kara clenched her fists but nodded. "Yeah.."

It was when the Dojo began rising with flames that Dragan had to her back. "We cannae interfere! Ye know this!" Dragan yelled as Kara began to struggle. Kara spotted Tang Shen running inside and tried to pull away but Dragan only tightened her grip. "I cannae let ye interfere! I am sorry!" Dragan's voice ached with pain having a feeling what was going to happen next.

Kara squeezed her eyes shut knowing what might have been Yoshi's future. He and Shen would of been married, raised Miwa, and maybe they could of been friends but then again..she would of never have met the turtles, reunited with her old master, nor had any of these adventures. Tears stung her eyes as she let out a cry hearing Yoshi's filled with sorrow.

Dragan squeezed her tightly, tears streaming down her face. Tang Shen was such a kind lady and she and Hamato Yoshi seemed to have been truly in love but she knew these stories all too well and they always ended with tragedy. She felt movement and went to pull her away but blinked when Kara took out her phone. "What are ye...you're not suppose tae inter-"

"I know..but there's one way I can help.." Kara pressed an icon on her phone and placed it to her ear. "I hope he has the same number in this time.." She muttered to herself in a quiet tone.

"Hello?.." Kevin's groggy voice answered as if they had been woken up.

"Call the police. There's a fire at the Hamato Dojo."

"Hamato Dojo?!" The sound of rustling sheets was heard over the phone as if they were stumbling out of bed.

"And an ambulance.." Kara voice cracked as she lowered the phone from her ear hearing him question who this was before she hung up. She looked over at Dragan and hugged her tight.

"I am sorry, Kara..." She squeezed her tight and looked up as the guys came into view. Kara turned around hearing Yoshi's cries for Shen as he mourned her death. She went to take a step forward, reaching her hand out but Donnie placed his over hers and shook his head, a saddened expression on his face. He pulled her close as they made their way into the darkened forest, the sky above them clouded with the smoke of the fallen Dojo and the ashes of Tang Shen.

Kara had her head in Donnie's lap as she stared blankly at the dead fire in front of them. Leo held Dragan close, gently rubbing her arm in a comforting motion, she doing the same as they held hands, using her thumb to rub circles over his hand.

"Everything is back to normal..finally." Donnie spoke quietly no emotion in his voice.

"Except the part where we're stuck a thousand miles from home and sixteen years in the past!" Raph yelled, slamming a piece of wood into the ground.

"Might as well get use to it, guys. Maybe being a Yokai won't be so bad." Mikey stared down at a cucumber he had stashed away trying to look on the bright side of the situation.

"Speak for yourself. Kara an I will most likely hae tae geit jobs here...an we don't exactly exist just yet.." Dragan groaned remembering the grocery incident but blinked when a bright light shined above them and Renet floated down, well, fell with style...til the end.

Renet stood up, moving her cape that had fallen over her face back behind her back, smiling. "Phew, finally I found you guys."

"Renet!" Mikey shouted, hugging her tightly.

"Heh, it's good to see you too, Mikey." She chuckled, patting his head.

"Where have you been? We've been stuck here for days!" Raph yelled at her.

"It's not my fault, seriously. I spent, like, the last six months hunting you guys down."

"Why? Why did we have to come here? Of all times, of all places!" Leo asked the question everyone wanted to know.

Kara stood to her feet along with the others and walked closer to Renet. "It was the scepter. It brought you here...to make sure Splinter survived." She spoke softly glancing from Leo to Kara.

"Wait, so it's always been this way? We were always destined to come back in time and save Splinter's life?" Donnie stared at Renet in surprise but blinked when he felt Kara's hand grab his.

"Can we...can we just go home?" She asked softly keeping her head low.

"Yeah, my head is starting to hurt." Raph groaned.

"Sure, no problem." Renet gave them a soft, apologetic smile. "Future New York, here we come." She raised the scepter and with a flash, they all landed safely back to their own time.

"Will we ever see you again, Renet?" Mikey asked shyly.

"Let's hope not." Raph muttered which gave him a glare from Mikey.

"Well, guess I can cross time travel off ma bucket list." Dragan joked playfully.

"Maybe someday, Michelangelo." Renet leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek before floating away back to her door. "Goodbye warriors of legend. See you in history!" She waved before disappearing.

"Let's go home guys. It'll be good to see Master Splinter." Mikey said with a thoughtful look on his face.

"Yeah, let's go." Leo put his arm around Dragan, smiling, then looked over at Kara.

Donnie gently squeezed her hand and kissed her on the cheek. "You two can stay with us for the night."

Kara looked at him and smiled softly. "Thank you." She whispered as they all headed back to their home.

Notes: #1: In this story, Hamato Yoshi moved to the states but stayed in the same town as Kara and got a job to help pay for his own wages, not wanting to burden his friends anymore than he had to. Once he had enough he then moved to New York to start the life he and Shen always wanted and that was when he bought the turtles. Now, due to the mutagen, they tend to age somewhat slower than that of a normal animal/human which is why they are younger than Kara and Karai (they're the same age). It may not be canon but this is my story and to fit Kara into it that's how it's gonna be! #2: Now, I don't know for sure if that is how Shen and Yoshi met, it's just my interpretation, and I think it's a cute one! x3 #3: I used google translation so if it's wrong...I'm sorry 8I Anyways, you all know the routine! See you when I see you xD
